【KJV】But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
【NIV】Then Paul, knowing that some of them were Sadducees and the others Pharisees, called out in the Sanhedrin, "My brothers, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee. I stand on trial because of my hope in the resurrection of the dead."

【KJV】And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.
【NIV】There was a great uproar, and some of the teachers of the law who were Pharisees stood up and argued vigorously. "We find nothing wrong with this man," they said. "What if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?"
【BBE】And there was a great outcry: and some of the scribes on the side of the Pharisees got up and took part in the discussion, saying, We see no evil in this man: what if he has had a revelation from an angel or a spirit?

【NIV】The dispute became so violent that the commander was afraid Paul would be torn to pieces by them. He ordered the troops to go down and take him away from them by force and bring him into the barracks.
【BBE】And when the argument became very violent, the chief captain, fearing that Paul would be pulled in two by them, gave orders to the armed men to take him by force from among them, and take him into the army building.
【ASV】And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should be torn in pieces by them, commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them, and bring him into the castle.

【NIV】Now then, you and the Sanhedrin petition the commander to bring him before you on the pretext of wanting more accurate information about his case. We are ready to kill him before he gets here."
【BBE】So now, will you and the Sanhedrin make a request to the military authorities to have him sent down to you, as if you were desiring to go into the business in greater detail; and we, before ever he gets to you, will be waiting to put him to death.
【ASV】Now therefore do ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you, as though ye would judge of his case more exactly: and we, before he comes near, are ready to slay him.

【吕振中】就说∶“你的原告也来到时,我才要详细听你”。便发命令将保罗看守在希律的王府内。
【思高本】便说:“等控告你的人来到,我再听审你。”遂下令把保禄看守在黑落德王府。
【牧灵版】便对他说:“等控告你的人到了,我就听审你的案子。”他命令把保禄关在黑落德王宫的监牢里。
【现代本】就说:“等你的原告到达,我就处理你的案件。”于是他命令把保罗拘禁在希律的公署里。
【当代版】       “待起诉你的人来到之后,我会开庭仔细审讯的。”于是下令把保罗拘留在希律王的王宫里。

【KJV】I will hear thee, said he, when thine accusers are also come. And he commanded him to be kept in Herod's judgment hall.
【NIV】he said, "I will hear your case when your accusers get here." Then he ordered that Paul be kept under guard in Herod's palace.
【BBE】I will give hearing to your cause, he said, when those who are against you have come. And he gave orders for him to be kept in Herod's Praetorium.
【ASV】I will hear thee fully, said he, when thine accusers also are come: and he commanded him to be kept in Herod's palace.
