【新译本】       所以现在,那些在耶稣基督里的人就不被定罪了;

【当代版】       从今以后,所有属于基督耶稣的人都不被定罪了;

【KJV】There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
【NIV】Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,
【BBE】For this cause those who are in Christ Jesus will not be judged as sinners.
【ASV】There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.

【KJV】For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
【NIV】because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.
【BBE】For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
【ASV】For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

【KJV】For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
【NIV】For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in sinful man,
【BBE】For what the law was not able to do because it was feeble through the flesh, God, sending his Son in the image of the evil flesh, and as an offering for sin, gave his decision against sin in the flesh:
【ASV】For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

【KJV】That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
【NIV】in order that the righteous requirements of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit.
【BBE】So that what was ordered by the law might be done in us, who are living, not in the way of the flesh, but in the way of the Spirit.
【ASV】that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

【思高本】因为随从肉性的人,切望肉性的事;随从圣神的人,切望圣神的事;

【KJV】For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
【NIV】Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.
【BBE】For those who are living in the way of the flesh give their minds to the things of the flesh, but those who go in the way of the Spirit, to the things of the Spirit.
【ASV】For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

【新译本】       以肉体为念就是死,以圣灵为念就是生命、平安;

【KJV】For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
【NIV】The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace;
【BBE】For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:
【ASV】For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace:

【新译本】       因为以肉体为念就是与上帝为仇,既不服从上帝的律法,也的确不能够服从;

【思高本】因为随肉性的切望,是与天主为敌,决不服从,也决不能服从天主的法律;

【KJV】Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
【NIV】the sinful mind is hostile to God. It does not submit to God's law, nor can it do so.
【BBE】Because the mind of the flesh is opposite to God; it is not under the law of God, and is not able to be:
【ASV】because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be:

【KJV】So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
【NIV】Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God.
【BBE】So that those who are in the flesh are not able to give pleasure to God.
【ASV】and they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

【KJV】But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
【NIV】You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ.
【BBE】You are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if the Spirit of God is in you. But if any man has not the Spirit of Christ he is not one of his.
【ASV】But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. But if any man hath not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

【KJV】And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
【NIV】But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness.
【BBE】And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
【ASV】And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the spirit is life because of righteousness.

【KJV】But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
【NIV】And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.
【BBE】But if the Spirit of him who made Jesus come again from the dead is in you, he who made Christ Jesus come again from the dead will in the same way, through his Spirit which is in you, give life to your bodies which now are under the power of death.
【ASV】But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

【KJV】Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
【NIV】Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation--but it is not to the sinful nature, to live according to it.
【BBE】So then, my brothers, we are in debt, not to the flesh to be living in the way of the flesh:
【ASV】So then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh:

【KJV】For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
【NIV】For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live,
【BBE】For if you go in the way of the flesh, death will come on you; but if by the Spirit you put to death the works of the body, you will have life.
【ASV】for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

【BBE】And all those who are guided by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
【ASV】For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.

【KJV】For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
【NIV】For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship. And by him we cry, "Abba, Father."

【KJV】The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
【NIV】The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children.
【BBE】The Spirit is witness with our spirit that we are children of God:
【ASV】The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God:

【KJV】And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
【NIV】Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
【BBE】And if we are children, we have a right to a part in the heritage; a part in the things of God, together with Christ; so that if we have a part in his pain, we will in the same way have a part in his glory.
【ASV】and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.

【KJV】For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
【NIV】I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
【BBE】I am of the opinion that there is no comparison between the pain of this present time and the glory which we will see in the future.
【ASV】For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to us-ward.

【KJV】For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
【NIV】The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.
【BBE】For the strong desire of every living thing is waiting for the revelation of the sons of God.
【ASV】For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the revealing of the sons of God.

【新译本】       因为被造的万物服在虚空之下,不是自己愿意这样,而是由于使它屈服的那一位;

【吕振中】被创造之物服在徒劳挫拆之下、不是自愿的,乃是因那叫它服在指望中者的旨意;
【当代版】       如今受造之物都在虚空之下,并非本身愿意的,是因为人类犯了罪才落到这个地步;

【KJV】For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
【NIV】For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope
【BBE】For every living thing was put under the power of change, not by its desire, but by him who made it so, in hope
