【KJV】Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also.
【NIV】Fourteen years later I went up again to Jerusalem, this time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also.
【BBE】Then after the space of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus with me.
【ASV】Then after the space of fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus also with me.

【KJV】And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.
【NIV】I went in response to a revelation and set before them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles. But I did this privately to those who seemed to be leaders, for fear that I was running or had run my race in vain.
【BBE】And I went up by revelation; and I put before them the good news which I was preaching among the Gentiles, but privately before those who were of good name, so that the work which I was or had been doing might not be without effect.
【ASV】And I went up by revelation; and I laid before them the gospel which I preach among the Gentiles but privately before them who were of repute, lest by any means I should be running, or had run, in vain.

3【和合本】但与我同去的提多,虽是希利尼人,也没有勉强他受割礼;
【和修订】但跟我同去的提多,虽是希腊人,也没有勉强他受割礼;

【新译本】与我同行的提多,虽然是希腊人,也没有强迫他受割礼;

【KJV】But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
【NIV】Yet not even Titus, who was with me, was compelled to be circumcised, even though he was a Greek.
【BBE】But not even Titus who was with me, being a Greek, was made to undergo circumcision:
【ASV】But not even Titus who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:

【思高本】因为,有些潜入的假兄弟,曾要他受割损;这些人潜入了教会,是为窥探我们在基督耶稣内所享有的自由,好使我们再成为奴隶;

【KJV】And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
【NIV】[This matter arose] because some false brothers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves.
【BBE】And that because of the false brothers let in secretly, who came searching out our free condition which we have in Christ Jesus, so that they might make servants of us;
【ASV】and that because of the false brethren privily brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:

【KJV】To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
【NIV】We did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might remain with you.
【BBE】To whom we gave way not even for an hour; so that the true words of the good news might still be with you.
【ASV】to whom we gave place in the way of subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.

【新译本】至于那些被认为有名望的人(无论他们从前怎么样,都与我无关; 神不以外貌取人),他们并没有给我增加什么;

【思高本】至于那些所谓有权威的人──不论他们以前是何等人物,与我毫不相干;天主决不顾情面──那些有权威的人也没有另外吩咐我什么;
【现代本】但是,那些被认为有名望的领袖(他们地位高低,我不在乎;因为上帝是不以外表来判断人的),我是说,那些有名望的人并没有给我什么新的指示;

【KJV】But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
【NIV】As for those who seemed to be important--whatever they were makes no difference to me; God does not judge by external appearance--those men added nothing to my message.
【BBE】But from those who seemed to be important (whatever they were has no weight with me: God does not take man's person into account): those who seemed to be important gave nothing new to me;
【ASV】But from those who were reputed to be somewhat (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth not man's person)-- they, I say, who were of repute imparted nothing to me:

【和修订】相反地,他们看见了主托付我传福音给未受割礼的人,正如主托付彼得传福音给受割礼的人;

【思高本】反而他们看出来,我是受了委托,向未受割损的人宣传福音,就如伯多禄被委派向受割损的人宣传福音一样;

【KJV】But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter;
【NIV】On the contrary, they saw that I had been entrusted with the task of preaching the gospel to the Gentiles, just as Peter had been to the Jews.
【BBE】But, quite the opposite, when they saw that I had been made responsible for preaching the good news to those without circumcision, even as Peter had been for those of the circumcision
【ASV】but contrariwise, when they saw that I had been intrusted with the gospel of the uncircumcision, even as Peter with the gospel of the circumcision

【吕振中】[因为那感动彼得去担当割礼之使徒职分的、也感动我来担当外国人之使徒职分];

【KJV】For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:)
【NIV】For God, who was at work in the ministry of Peter as an apostle to the Jews, was also at work in my ministry as an apostle to the Gentiles.
【BBE】(Because he who was working in Peter as the Apostle of the circumcision was working no less in me among the Gentiles);
【ASV】(for he that wrought for Peter unto the apostleship of the circumcision wrought for me also unto the Gentiles);

【新译本】又知道我蒙了 神的恩,那几位被誉为柱石的雅各、矶法和约翰,就向我和巴拿巴伸出右手互相许诺,我们要到外族人那里去传福音,他们要到受割礼的人那里去传福音;

【KJV】And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
【NIV】James, Peter and John, those reputed to be pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship when they recognized the grace given to me. They agreed that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the Jews.
【BBE】When they saw the grace which was given to me, James and Cephas and John, who had the name of being pillars, gave to me and Barnabas their right hands as friends so that we might go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcision;
【ASV】and when they perceived the grace that was given unto me, James and Cephas and John, they who were reputed to be pillars, gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship, that we should go unto the Gentiles, and they unto the circumcision;

【KJV】Only they would that we should remember the poor; the same which I also was forward to do.
【NIV】All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do.
【BBE】Only it was their desire that we would give thought to the poor; which very thing I had much in mind to do.
【ASV】only they would that we should remember the poor; which very thing I was also zealous to do.

【KJV】But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.
【NIV】When Peter came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he was clearly in the wrong.
【BBE】But when Cephas came to Antioch, I made a protest against him to his face, because he was clearly in the wrong.
【ASV】But when Cephas came to Antioch, I resisted him to the face, because he stood condemned.

【KJV】For before that certain came from James, he did eat with the Gentiles: but when they were come, he withdrew and separated himself, fearing them which were of the circumcision.
【NIV】Before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate himself from the Gentiles because he was afraid of those who belonged to the circumcision group.
【BBE】For before certain men came from James, he did take food with the Gentiles: but when they came, he went back and made himself separate, fearing those who were of the circumcision.
【ASV】For before that certain came from James, he ate with the Gentiles; but when they came, he drew back and separated himself, fearing them that were of the circumcision.

【KJV】And the other Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that Barnabas also was carried away with their dissimulation.
【NIV】The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy even Barnabas was led astray.
【BBE】And the rest of the Jews went after him, so that even Barnabas was overcome by their false ways.
【ASV】And the rest of the Jews dissembled likewise with him; insomuch that even Barnabas was carried away with their dissimulation.

【KJV】But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?
【NIV】When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter in front of them all, "You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs?
【BBE】But when I saw that they were not living uprightly in agreement with the true words of the good news, I said to Cephas before them all, If you, being a Jew, are living like the Gentiles, and not like the Jews, how will you make the Gentiles do the same as the Jews?
【ASV】But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Cephas before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest as do the Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, how compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?

15【和合本】我们这生来的犹太人,不是外邦的罪人;
【和修订】我们生来就是犹太人,不是外邦罪人;

【新译本】我们生来是犹太人,不是外族中的罪人;

【思高本】我们生来是犹太人,而不是出于外邦民族的罪人;
【牧灵版】我们生为犹太人,不是外邦罪人;

【KJV】We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
【NIV】We who are Jews by birth and not `Gentile sinners'
【BBE】We being Jews by birth, and not sinners of the Gentiles,
【ASV】We being Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles,

【KJV】Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
【NIV】know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.
【BBE】Being conscious that a man does not get righteousness by the works of the law, but through faith in Jesus Christ, we had faith in Christ Jesus, so that we might get righteousness by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law will no flesh get righteousness.
【ASV】yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

【KJV】But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
【NIV】If, while we seek to be justified in Christ, it becomes evident that we ourselves are sinners, does that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not!
【BBE】But if, while we were desiring to get righteousness through Christ, we ourselves were seen to be sinners, is Christ a servant of sin? In no way!
【ASV】But if, while we sought to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, is Christ a minister of sin? God forbid.

【KJV】For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
【NIV】If I rebuild what I destroyed, I prove that I am a lawbreaker.
【BBE】For if I put up again those things which I gave to destruction, I am seen to be a wrongdoer.
【ASV】For if I build up again those things which I destroyed, I prove myself a transgressor.

【牧灵版】至于我,我已借着律法死于律法,为能活于天主,我已和基督同被钉在十字架上;

【KJV】For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
【NIV】For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God.
【BBE】For I, through the law, have become dead to the law, so that I might be living to God.
【ASV】For I through the law died unto the law, that I might live unto God.

【KJV】I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
【NIV】I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
【BBE】I have been put to death on the cross with Christ; still I am living; no longer I, but Christ is living in me; and that life which I now am living in the flesh I am living by faith, the faith of the Son of God, who in love for me, gave himself up for me.
【ASV】I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me: and that life which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faith which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

【KJV】I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
【NIV】I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"
【BBE】I do not make the grace of God of no effect: because if righteousness is through the law, then Christ was put to death for nothing.
【ASV】I do not make void the grace of God: for if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nought.
