※长进：(1)应该长进(五11~14)。(2)长进的方法(1~3)：a.是不停留在开端上；b.是不推翻原有的根基；c.是由现在的基础上竭力进到成人的地步(就是完全)。(3)长进的必需(4~8)：背教的罪是人所承当不起的，长进是自然的应该的。(4)长进的鼓励(9~20)：a.本身是有指望(9~12)；b.神是鼓励我们长进的(13~20)。―─ 牛述光
