12:1 [cbb5] 羅波安往示劍去．因為以色列人都到了示劍、要立他作王。
    [kjv] And Rehoboam went to Shechem: for all Israel were come to Shechem to make him king.
    [strongs] 1980 And went 7346 Rehoboam 7927 {to} Shechem, 3588 for 7927 {to} Shechem 0935 had come 3605 all 3478 Israel 4427 to make king 0000 him.
12:2 [cbb5] 尼八的兒子耶羅波安先前躲避所羅門王、逃往埃及、住在那裡。（他聽見這事）
    [kjv] And it came to pass, when Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who was yet in Egypt, heard of it, (for he was fled from the presence of king Solomon, and Jeroboam dwelt in Egypt;)
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 8085 when heard 3379 Jeroboam 1121 the son of 5028 Nebat 1931 (and he 5750 {was} still 4714 in Egypt 0834 where 1272 he had run away 6480 from the face of 8010 Solomon 4428 the king, 3427 and lived 3379 Jeroboam 4714 in Egypt)
12:3 [cbb5] 以色列人打發人去請他來、他就和以色列會眾都來見羅波安、對他說、
    [kjv] That they sent and called him. And Jeroboam and all the congregation of Israel came, and spake unto Rehoboam, saying,

12:4 [cbb5] 你父親使我們負重軛、作苦工．現在求你使我們作的苦工、負的重軛、輕鬆些、我們就事奉你。
    [kjv] Thy father made our yoke grievous: now therefore make thou the grievous service of thy father, and his heavy yoke which he put upon us, lighter, and we will serve thee.
    [strongs] 0001 Your father 7186 made hard 5912 our yoke. 0859 And you 6258 now 7043 lighten 5656 {some} of the service of 0001 your father 7168 hard, 5923 and his yoke 3515 heavy 0834 that 5414 he put 5921 upon us, 5147 that we may serve you.
12:5 [cbb5] 羅波安對他們說、你們暫且去、第三日再來見我。民就去了。
    [kjv] And he said unto them, Depart yet for three days, then come again to me. And the people departed.

12:6 [cbb5] 羅波安之父所羅門在世的日子、有侍立在他面前的老年人、羅波安王和他們商議、說、你們給我出個甚麼主意、我好回覆這民。
    [kjv] And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise that I may answer this people?

12:7 [cbb5] 老年人對他說、現在王若服事這民如僕人、用好話回答他們、他們就永遠作王的僕人。
    [kjv] And they spake unto him, saying, If thou wilt be a servant unto this people this day, and wilt serve them, and answer them, and speak good words to them, then they will be thy servants for ever.

12:8 [cbb5] 王卻不用老年人給他出的主意、就和那些與他一同長大在他面前侍立的少年人商議、
    [kjv] But he forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with him, and which stood before him:
    [strongs] 5800 But he abandoned 6098 the counsel of 2205 the elders 0834 which 3289 they advised him, 3289 and consulted 3206 the young men 0834 who 1430 had grown up 0000 with him, 0834 who 5324 were standing 6440 in front of him.
12:9 [cbb5] 說、這民對我說、你父親使我們負重軛、求你使我們輕鬆些．你們給我出個甚麼主意、我好回覆他們。
    [kjv] And he said unto them, What counsel give ye that we may answer this people, who have spoken to me, saying, Make the yoke which thy father did put upon us lighter?
    [strongs] 0559 And he said 0000 to them, 4100 What 0859 you 3289 do advise 7725 that we return 1697 a word 9999 {to} 5971 people 0000 this 0834 who 1696 have spoken 0000 to me, 0559 saying, 7043 Lighten 4480 {some} of 5920 the yoke 0834 that 5414 put 0001 your father 5921 upon us?
12:10 [cbb5] 那同他長大的少年人說、這民對王說、你父親使我們負重軛、求你使我們輕鬆些．王要對他們如此說、我的小拇指頭、比我父親的腰還粗。
    [kjv] And the young men that were grown up with him spake unto him, saying, Thus shalt thou speak unto this people that spake unto thee, saying, Thy father made our yoke heavy, but make thou it lighter unto us; thus shalt thou say unto them, My little finger shall be thicker than my father's loins.

12:11 [cbb5] 我父親使你們負重軛、我必使你們負更重的軛．我父親用鞭子責打你們、我要用蠍子鞭責打你們。
    [kjv] And now whereas my father did lade you with a heavy yoke, I will add to your yoke: my father hath chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.
    [strongs] 6258 And now 0001 my father 6006 loaded 5921 on you 5923 a yoke 3515 heavy, 0589 but I 3254 will add 5921 to 5923 your yoke. 0001 My father 3256 chastised 0000 you 7752 with whips, 0589 but I 3256 will chastise 0000 you 6137 with scorpions.
12:12 [cbb5] 耶羅波安和眾百姓遵著羅波安王所說、你們第三日再來見我的那話、第三日他們果然來了。
    [kjv] So Jeroboam and all the people came to Rehoboam the third day, as the king had appointed, saying, Come to me again the third day.
    [strongs] 0935 And they came, 3379 Jeroboam 3605 and all 5971 the people, 0413 to 7346 Rehoboam 3117 on the day 7992 third, 0834 as 1696 had spoken 4428 the king, 0559 saying, 7725 Come back 0000 to me 3117 on the day 7992 third.
12:13 [cbb5] 王用嚴厲的話回答百姓、不用老年人給他所出的主意、
    [kjv] And the king answered the people roughly, and forsook the old men's counsel that they gave him;
    [strongs] 6030 And answered 4428 the king 7969 the 5971 people 7186 harshly, 5800 and abandoned 6098 the counsel of 2205 the elders 0834 which 3289 they advised him,
12:14 [cbb5] 照著少年人所出的主意對民說、我父親使你們負重軛、我必使你們負更重的軛．我父親用鞭子責打你們、我要用蠍子鞭責打你們。
    [kjv] And spake to them after the counsel of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my father also chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.
    [strongs] 1696 and spoke 0000 to them 6098 as the counsel of 5288 the young men, 0559 saying, 0001 My father 3513 made heavy 0000 your 5923 yoke, 0589 but I 3254 will add 5921 to 5923 your yoke. 0001 My father 3256 chastised 0000 you 7752 with whips, 0589 but I 3256 will chastise 0000 you 6137 with scorpions.
12:15 [cbb5] 王不肯依從百姓、這事乃出於耶和華、為要應驗他藉示羅人亞希雅對尼八的兒子耶羅波安所說的話。
    [kjv] Wherefore the king hearkened not unto the people; for the cause was from the LORD, that he might perform his saying, which the LORD spake by Ahijah the Shilonite unto Jeroboam the son of Nebat.

12:16 [cbb5] 以色列眾民見王不依從他們、就對王說、我們與大衛有甚麼分兒呢、與耶西的兒子並沒有關涉．以色列人哪、各回各家去罷．大衛家阿、自己顧自己罷。於是以色列人都回自己家裡去了。
    [kjv] So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed unto their tents.

12:17 [cbb5] 惟獨住猶大城邑的以色列人、羅波安仍作他們的王。
    [kjv] But as for the children of Israel which dwelt in the cities of Judah, Rehoboam reigned over them.
    [strongs] 1121 But the sons 3478 of Israel, 3427 those living 5892 in the cities of 3063 Judah, 4427 ruled 5921 over them 7346 Rehoboam.
12:18 [cbb5] 羅波安王差遣掌管服苦之人的亞多蘭、往以色列人那裡去．以色列人就用石頭打死他。羅波安王急忙上車、逃回耶路撒冷去了。
    [kjv] Then king Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the tribute; and all Israel stoned him with stones, that he died. Therefore king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 4428 King 7346 Rehoboam 0151 Adoram, 0834 who {was} 5921 over 4522 the taxes 5619 and stoned 3605 all 3478 Israel 0000 him 0068 {with} stones, 4191 and he died. 4428 And King 7346 Rehoboam 0553 made haste 5927 to go up 4818 into the chariot 5127 to flee 3389 {to} Jerusalem.
12:19 [cbb5] 這樣、以色列人背叛大衛家、直到今日。
    [kjv] So Israel rebelled against the house of David unto this day.
    [strongs] 6586 And rebelled 3478 Israel 1004 against the household of 1732 David 5704 to 3117 day 2088 this.
12:20 [cbb5] 以色列眾人聽見耶羅波安回來了、就打發人去請他到會眾面前、立他作以色列眾人的王．除了猶大支派以外、沒有順從大衛家的。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was come again, that they sent and called him unto the congregation, and made him king over all Israel: there was none that followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only.

12:21 [cbb5] 羅波安來到耶路撒冷、招聚猶大全家、和便雅憫支派的人、共十八萬、都是挑選的戰士、要與以色列家爭戰、好將國奪回、再歸所羅門的兒子羅波安。
    [kjv] And when Rehoboam was come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah, with the tribe of Benjamin, an hundred and fourscore thousand chosen men, which were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel, to bring the kingdom again to Rehoboam the son of Solomon.
    [strongs] 0935 And came 7346 Rehoboam 3389 {to} Jerusalem, 6950 and assembled 3605 all 1004 the household of 3063 Judah 0000 and 7626 the tribe of 1144 Benjamin, 3967 a hundred 8084 and eighty 0505 thousand 0977 chosen 6213 makers of 4421 war, 3898 to fight 5973 with 1004 the household of 3478 Israel, 7725 to bring 4410 the kingdom 7346 to Rehoboam 1121 the son of 8010 Solomon.
12:22 [cbb5] 但　神的話臨到神人示瑪雅、說、
    [kjv] But the word of God came unto Shemaiah the man of God, saying,
    [strongs] 1961 And was 1697 the word of 0430 God 0413 to 8098 Shemaiah 0376 the man of 0430 God 0559 saying,
12:23 [cbb5] 你去告訴所羅門的兒子、猶大王羅波安、和猶大、便雅憫全家、並其餘的民、說、
    [kjv] Speak unto Rehoboam, the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and unto all the house of Judah and Benjamin, and to the remnant of the people, saying,
    [strongs] 0559 Say 0413 to 7346 Rehoboam 1121 the son of 8010 Solomon, 4428 the king of 3063 Judah, 0413 and to 3605 all 1004 the household of 3063 Judah 1144 and Benjamin, 3499 and the rest of 5971 the people, 0559 saying,
12:24 [cbb5] 耶和華如此說、你們不可上去、與你們的弟兄以色列人爭戰．各歸各家去罷、因為這事出於我。眾人就聽從耶和華的話、遵著耶和華的命回去了。
    [kjv] Thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not go up, nor fight against your brethren the children of Israel: return every man to his house; for this thing is from me. They hearkened therefore to the word of the LORD, and returned to depart, according to the word of the LORD.

12:25 [cbb5] 耶羅波安在以法蓮山地建築示劍、就住在其中．又從示劍出去、建築毘努伊勒。
    [kjv] Then Jeroboam built Shechem in mount Ephraim, and dwelt therein; and went out from thence, and built Penuel.
    [strongs] 1129 And built 3379 Jeroboam 7907 Shechem 2022 in the hills of 0669 Ephraim, 3427 and lived 0000 in it, 3318 and he went out 8033 from there 1129 and built 6439 Penuel.
12:26 [cbb5] 耶羅波安心裡說、恐怕這國仍歸大衛家．
    [kjv] And Jeroboam said in his heart, Now shall the kingdom return to the house of David:
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3379 Jeroboam 3820 in his heart, 6258 Now 7725 will turn back 4467 the kingdom 1104 to the house of 1732 David.
12:27 [cbb5] 這民若上耶路撒冷去、在耶和華的殿裡獻祭、他們的心必歸向他們的主猶大王羅波安、就把我殺了、仍歸猶大王羅波安。
    [kjv] If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah.
    [strongs] 5927 If go up 5971 people 0000 this 6213 to do 2077 sacrifices 1004 in the house of 3068 Yahweh 3389 at Jerusalem, 7725 then will return 3820 the heart of 5971 people 2088 this 0413 to 0113 their lord, 0413 to 7346 Rehoboam 4428 the king of 3063 Judah, 2026 and they will kill me 7725 and return to 7346 Rehoboam 4428 the king of 3063 Judah.
12:28 [cbb5] 耶羅波安王就籌畫定妥、鑄造了兩個金牛犢、對眾民說、以色列人哪、你們上耶路撒冷去、實在是難．這就是領你們出埃及地的神。
    [kjv] Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.
    [strongs] 3289 And took counsel 4428 the king 6213 and made 8147 two 5695 calves of 2091 gold. 0559 And he said 0000 to them, 7227 {it is} too much 0000 for you 5927 to go up 3389 {to} Jerusalem. 2009 Look, 0430 your gods, 3478 O Israel, 0834 which 5927 brought you up 0776 out of the land of 4714 Egypt!
12:29 [cbb5] 他就把牛犢一隻安在伯特利、一隻安在但。
    [kjv] And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan.
    [strongs] 5414 And he set 0259 the one 6256 in 1008 Bethel, 0000 and 0259 the one 5414 he put 1835 in Dan.
12:30 [cbb5] 這事叫百姓陷在罪裡．因為他們往但去、拜那牛犢。
    [kjv] And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.
    [strongs] 1961 And became 1697 thing 0000 this 2403 a sin, 1980 for went 5971 the people 6440 before 0259 the one 1835 to Dan.
12:31 [cbb5] 耶羅波安在邱壇那裡建殿、將那不屬利未人的凡民立為祭司。
    [kjv] And he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi.
    [strongs] 6213 And he made 1004 a house of 1116 high places, 6213 and made 3548 priests 7098 of the ends of 5971 the people 0834 who 1961 not were 1121 of the sons of 3878 Levi.
12:32 [cbb5] 耶羅波安定八月十五日為節期、像在猶大的節期一樣、自己上壇獻祭．他在伯特利也這樣向他所鑄的牛犢獻祭、又將立為邱壇的祭司安置在伯特利。
    [kjv] And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.
    [strongs] 6213 And made 3379 Jeroboam 2282 a feast 2320 in the month 8066 eighth, 6256 in 2568 the five 6240 {and} tenth 3117 day 2320 of the month, 2282 like the feast 0000 that {is} 3063 in Judah. 2076 And he offered 5921 on 4196 the altar, 3651 so 6213 he did 1008 in Bethel, 2076 to sacrifice 5695 to the calves 0834 which 6213 he made. 6485 And he appointed 1008 in Bethel 3548 the priests of 1116 the high places 0834 that 6213 he made.
12:33 [cbb5] 他在八月十五日、就是他私自所定的月日、為以色列人立作節期的日子、在伯特利上壇燒香。
    [kjv] So he offered upon the altar which he had made in Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar, and burnt incense.
    [strongs] 2076 And he offered 5921 on 4196 the altar 0834 that 6213 he made 1008 in Bethel, 5921 on the 6240 fifteenth 3117 day 2320 of the month 8066 eighth, 2320 in the month 0834 that 0908 he devised 3820 from his own heart. 6213 And he made 2282 a feast 1121 for the sons of 3478 Israel, 5927 and offered 5921 on 4196 the altar, 6999 to burn incense.
