20:1 [cbb5] 亞蘭王便哈達聚集他的全軍、率領三十二個王、帶著車馬上來圍攻撒瑪利亞。
    [kjv] And Benhadad the king of Syria gathered all his host together: and there were thirty and two kings with him, and horses, and chariots; and he went up and besieged Samaria, and warred against it.
    [strongs] 1130 And Ben-Hadad 4428 the king of 0758 Syria 6908 gathered together 3605 all 2428 his army. 7970 And thirty- 8147 two 4428 kings {were} 0854 with him, 5483 and horses 7393 and chariots. 5927 And he went up 6696 and beseiged 5921 upon 8111 Samaria, 3898 and fought 0000 against it.
20:2 [cbb5] 又差遣使者進城見以色列王亞哈、對他說、便哈達如此說、
    [kjv] And he sent messengers to Ahab king of Israel into the city, and said unto him, Thus saith Benhadad,
    [strongs] 7971 And he sent 4399 messengers 0413 to 0256 Ahab, 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 5892 to the city, 0559 and said 0000 to him, 3541 So 0559 says 1130 Ben-Hadad,
20:3 [cbb5] 你的金銀都要歸我、你妻子兒女中最美的也要歸我．
    [kjv] Thy silver and thy gold is mine; thy wives also and thy children, even the goodliest, are mine.
    [strongs] 3701 your silver 2091 and your gold, 0000 to me 1931 it {is} 0802 and your wives 1121 and your sons, 2896 the best, 0000 to me 1992 they {are}.
20:4 [cbb5] 以色列王回答說、我主我王阿、可以依著你的話、我與我所有的都歸你。
    [kjv] And the king of Israel answered and said, My lord, O king, according to thy saying, I am thine, and all that I have.
    [strongs] 6030 And answered 4428 the king of 3478 Israel 0559 and said, 1697 According to your word, 0113 my lord 4428 O king, 0000 to you, 0589 I {am} 3605 and all 0834 that {is} 0000 to me.
20:5 [cbb5] 使者又來說、便哈達如此說、我已差遣人去見你、要你將你的金銀妻子兒女都給我．
    [kjv] And the messengers came again, and said, Thus speaketh Benhadad, saying, Although I have sent unto thee, saying, Thou shalt deliver me thy silver, and thy gold, and thy wives, and thy children;
    [strongs] 7725 And came back 4397 the messengers 0559 and said, 3541 So 0559 says 1130 Ben-Hadad, 0559 saying, 3588 Surely 7971 I sent 0413 to you, 0559 saying, 3701 your silver 2091 and your gold 0802 and your wives 1121 and your sons 0000 to me 5414 you will give.
20:6 [cbb5] 但明日約在這時候、我還要差遣臣僕到你那裡、搜查你的家和你僕人的家、將你眼中一切所喜愛的、都拿了去。
    [kjv] Yet I will send my servants unto thee to morrow about this time, and they shall search thine house, and the houses of thy servants; and it shall be, that whatsoever is pleasant in thine eyes, they shall put it in their hand, and take it away.
    [strongs] 3588 Yet 0518 about 6256 {this} time 4279 tomorrow 7971 I will send 5650 my servants 0413 to you, 2664 and they will search 1004 your house, 0853 and 1004 houses 5650 your servants. 1961 And it will be 3605 all that 4261 is pleasing 5869 in your eyes, 7760 they will put 3027 in their hand 3947 and take it away.
20:7 [cbb5] 以色列王召了國中的長老來、對他們說、請你們看看、這人是怎樣的謀害我．他先差遣人到我這裡來、要我的妻子兒女和金銀、我並沒有推辭他．
    [kjv] Then the king of Israel called all the elders of the land, and said, Mark, I pray you, and see how this man seeketh mischief: for he sent unto me for my wives, and for my children, and for my silver, and for my gold; and I denied him not.
    [strongs] 7121 And called 4428 the king of 3478 Israel 3605 to all 2205 the elders of 0776 the land, 0559 and said, 3045 know 4994 Please, 7200 and see 7451 the evil 2088 this one 1245 is seeking, 3588 for 7971 he sent 0413 to me 0802 for my wives, 1121 and for my sons, 3701 and for my silver, 2091 and for my gold, 3808 and not 4513 did I withhold 4480 from him.
20:8 [cbb5] 長老和百姓對王說、不要聽從他、也不要應允他。
    [kjv] And all the elders and all the people said unto him, Hearken not unto him, nor consent.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0413 to him 3605 all 2205 the elders 3605 and all 5971 the people, 0408 not 8085 Do listen 3808 nor 0014 consent.
20:9 [cbb5] 故此以色列王對便哈達的使者說、你們告訴我主我王說、王頭一次差遣人向僕人所要的、僕人都依從．但這次所要的、我不能依從。使者就去回覆便哈達。
    [kjv] Wherefore he said unto the messengers of Benhadad, Tell my lord the king, All that thou didst send for to thy servant at the first I will do: but this thing I may not do. And the messengers departed, and brought him word again.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said 4397 to the messengers of 1130 Ben-Hadad, 0559 Say 0113 to my lord, 4428 the king, 3605 All 0834 that 7971 you sent for 0413 to 5650 your servant 7223 at the first 6213 I will do. 1697 But thing 2088 this 3808 not 3201 I am able 6213 to do. 3212 And went 4397 the messengers 7725 and took back to him 1697 word.
20:10 [cbb5] 便哈達又差遣人去見亞哈說、撒瑪利亞的塵土、若彀跟從我的人每人捧一捧的、願神明重重的降罰與我。
    [kjv] And Benhadad sent unto him, and said, The gods do so unto me, and more also, if the dust of Samaria shall suffice for handfuls for all the people that follow me.
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 0413 to him 1130 Ben-Hadad, 0559 and said, 3651 So 6213 will do 0000 to me 0430 the gods 3541 and so 3254 more, 0518 if 3606 will be enough 6083 the dust of 8111 Samaria 8168 for handfuls 3605 for all 5971 the people 0834 that {are} 7272 at my feet.
20:11 [cbb5] 以色列王說、你告訴他說、纔頂盔貫甲的、休要像摘盔卸甲的誇口。
    [kjv] And the king of Israel answered and said, Tell him, Let not him that girdeth on his harness boast himself as he that putteth it off.
    [strongs] 6030 And replied 4428 the kings of 3478 Israel 0559 and said, 1696 Tell {him}, 0408 not 1984 Let him boast 2296 girding {armor}, 6605 as loosening {it}.
20:12 [cbb5] 便哈達和諸王正在帳幕裡喝酒、聽見這話、就對他臣僕說、擺隊罷．他們就擺隊攻城。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, when Ben-hadad heard this message, as he was drinking, he and the kings in the pavilions, that he said unto his servants, Set yourselves in array. And they set themselves in array against the city.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 8085 when {he} heard 1697 word 2088 this 1931 now 8354 was drinking 1931 he 4428 and the kings, 5521 in the booths- 0559 that he said 0413 to 5650 his servants, 7760 set in order. 7760 And they set in order 5921 against 5892 the city.
20:13 [cbb5] 有一個先知來見以色列王亞哈說、耶和華如此說、這一大群人你看見了麼．今日我必將他們交在你手裡、你就知道我是耶和華。
    [kjv] And, behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.
    [strongs] 2009 And look, 5030 prophet 0259 one 5066 came near 0413 to 0256 Ahab, 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 0559 and said, 3541 So 0559 says 3068 Yahweh, 7200 Have you seen 3605 all 1995 multitude 1419 great 2088 this? 2005 Look, I 5414 give it 3027 into your hand 3117 today, 3045 and you will know 3588 that 0589 I {am} 3068 Yahweh.
20:14 [cbb5] 亞哈說、藉著誰呢．他回答說、耶和華說、藉著跟從省長的少年人．亞哈說、要誰率領呢．他說、要你親自率領。
    [kjv] And Ahab said, By whom? And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Even by the young men of the princes of the provinces. Then he said, Who shall order the battle? And he answered, Thou.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0256 Ahab, 4310 By whom? 0559 And he said, 3541 So 0559 says 3068 Yahweh, 5288 by the young men of 8269 the rulers of 4082 the provinces. 0559 Then he said, 4310 Who 0631 will join 4421 the battle? 0559 And he answered, 0859 You.
20:15 [cbb5] 於是亞哈數點跟從省長的少年人、共有二百三十二名．後又數點以色列的眾兵、共有七千名。
    [kjv] Then he numbered the young men of the princes of the provinces, and they were two hundred and thirty two: and after them he numbered all the people, even all the children of Israel, being seven thousand.
    [strongs] 6485 Then he mustered 5288 the young men of 8269 the rulers of 4082 the provinces, 1961 and they were 3967 two hundred 8147 two 7970 thirty-. 0310 And after them, 6485 he mustered 3605 all 5971 the people, 3605 all 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel, 7651 seven 0505 thousand.

    [kjv] And they went out at noon. But Benhadad was drinking himself drunk in the pavilions, he and the kings, the thirty and two kings that helped him.
    [strongs] 3318 And they went out 6672 at noon, 1130 and Ben-Hadad 8354 was drinking 7910 {himself} drunk 5521 in the booths, 1931 he 4428 and the kings, 7970 thirty- 8147 two 4428 kings 5820 helping 0853 him.
20:17 [cbb5] 跟從省長的少年人先出城．便哈達差遣人去探望、他們回報說、有人從撒瑪利亞出來了．
    [kjv] And the young men of the princes of the provinces went out first; and Benhadad sent out, and they told him, saying, There are men come out of Samaria.
    [strongs] 3318 And went out 5288 the young men of 8269 the rulers of 4082 the provinces 7223 at the first. 7971 And sent 1130 Ben-Hadad 5046 and they told 0000 to him, 0559 saying, 0376 Men 3318 have come out 8111 from Samaria.
20:18 [cbb5] 他說、他們若為講和出來、要活捉他們．若為打仗出來、也要活捉他們。
    [kjv] And he said, Whether they be come out for peace, take them alive; or whether they be come out for war, take them alive.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said, 0518 If 7965 for peace 3318 they have come out, 8610 seize them 2416 alive. 0518 And if 4421 to battle 3318 they have come out, 2416 alive 8610 seize them.
20:19 [cbb5] 跟從省長的少年人出城、軍兵跟隨他們．
    [kjv] So these young men of the princes of the provinces came out of the city, and the army which followed them.
    [strongs] 0428 And these 3318 went out 4480 of 5892 the city, 5288 the young men of 8269 the rulers of 4082 the provinces, 2428 and the army 0834 which {was} 0310 after them.
20:20 [cbb5] 各人遇見敵人就殺．亞蘭人逃跑、以色列人追趕他們．亞蘭王便哈達騎著馬、和馬兵一同逃跑。
    [kjv] And they slew every one his man: and the Syrians fled; and Israel pursued them: and Benhadad the king of Syria escaped on an horse with the horsemen.
    [strongs] 5221 And struck 0376 each 0376 his man, 5127 and fled 0758 Syria, 7291 and pursued them 3478 Israel. 4422 And escaped 1130 Ben-Hadad 4428 the king of 0758 Syria 5921 on 5483 a horse, 6571 and the horsemen.
20:21 [cbb5] 以色列王出城攻打車馬、大大擊殺亞蘭人。
    [kjv] And the king of Israel went out, and smote the horses and chariots, and slew the Syrians with a great slaughter.
    [strongs] 3318 And out went 4428 the king of 3478 Israel 5221 and struck 5483 the horses, 0853 and 7393 the chariots, 5221 and struck 0758 the Syrians 4347 with a slaughter 1419 great.
20:22 [cbb5] 那先知來見以色列王、對他說、你當自強、留心怎樣防備、因為到明年這時候、亞蘭王必上來攻擊你。
    [kjv] And the prophet came to the king of Israel, and said unto him, Go, strengthen thyself, and mark, and see what thou doest: for at the return of the year the king of Syria will come up against thee.
    [strongs] 0935 And came 5030 the prophet 0413 to 4428 the king of 3478 Israel 0559 and said 0000 to him, 1980 Go, 2388 strengthen yourself, 3045 and know 7200 and see 0834 what 6213 you do. 3588 For 7725 at the return of 8141 the year 4428 the king of 0758 Syria 5927 comes up 0000 against you.
20:23 [cbb5] 亞蘭王的臣僕對亞蘭王說、以色列人的神是山神、所以他們勝過我們．但在平原與他們打仗、我們必定得勝．
    [kjv] And the servants of the king of Syria said unto him, Their gods are gods of the hills; therefore they were stronger than we; but let us fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they.
    [strongs] 5650 And the servants of 4428 the king of 0758 Syria 0559 said 0000 to him, 0430 a God of 2022 the hills 0430 {is} Their God. 5921 There- 3651 fore 1396 they were stronger 4480 than we. 0199 But 3898 let us fight 0000 with them 6256 in 3603 the plain, 0518 and 3808 surely, 2388 we will be stronger 4480 than they.
20:24 [cbb5] 王當這樣行、把諸王革去、派軍長代替他們．
    [kjv] And do this thing, Take the kings away, every man out of his place, and put captains in their rooms:
    [strongs] 0000 And 1697 thing 0000 this 5493 take away 4428 the kings, 0376 each 4714 from his place, 5186 and set 6346 captains 8478 in their place.
20:25 [cbb5] 又照著王喪失軍兵之數、再招募一軍、馬補馬、車補車、我們在平原與他們打仗、必定得勝．王便聽臣僕的話去行。
    [kjv] And number thee an army, like the army that thou hast lost, horse for horse, and chariot for chariot: and we will fight against them in the plain, and surely we shall be stronger than they. And he hearkened unto their voice, and did so.
    [strongs] 0859 And you 4557 number 0000 to yourself 6635 an army 2428 like the army 5307 that fell 0000 from you, 5483 even horse 5483 for horse 7393 and chariot 8393 for chariot. 3898 And let us fight 0000 them 4334 in the plain. 0518 Are 3808 not 2388 we stronger 4480 than they? 8085 And he listened 6963 to their voice 6213 and did 3651 so.
20:26 [cbb5] 次年便哈達果然點齊亞蘭人、上亞弗去、要與以色列人打仗。
    [kjv] And it came to pass at the return of the year, that Benhadad numbered the Syrians, and went up to Aphek, to fight against Israel.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 8666 at the turn of 8141 the year, 6485 that mustered 1130 Ben-Hadad 0758 Syria, 5927 and went up 0663 to Aphek 3898 to fight 0413 against 3478 Israel.
20:27 [cbb5] 以色列人也點齊軍兵、豫備食物、迎著亞蘭人出去、對著他們安營、好像兩小群山羊羔．亞蘭人卻滿了地面。
    [kjv] And the children of Israel were numbered, and were all present, and went against them: and the children of Israel pitched before them like two little flocks of kids; but the Syrians filled the country.
    [strongs] 1121 And the sons of 3478 Israel 6817 were mustered, 3557 and were fed 1980 and went 7125 to meet them. 2583 And camped 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 6440 before them, 8147 like two 2835 flocks of 5795 goats. 0758 And the Syrians 4390 filled 0776 the land.
20:28 [cbb5] 有神人來見以色列王說、耶和華如此說、亞蘭人既說我耶和華是山神、不是平原的神．所以我必將這一大群人、都交在你手中、你們就知道我是耶和華。
    [kjv] And there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD is God of the hills, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.
    [strongs] 5066 And came near 0376 a man of 0430 God 0559 and spoke 0413 to 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 0559 and said, 0559 So says 3068 Yahweh, 0000 Because 0559 have said 0758 the Syrians, 0430 God of 2022 the hills 3068 Yahweh {is}, 3808 and not 0430 God of 6010 the valleys 0000 He {is}, 5414 therefore I will give 3605 all 1995 multitude 1419 great 0000 this 3027 into your hand, 3045 and you will know 0000 that I {am} 3068 Yahweh.
20:29 [cbb5] 以色列人與亞蘭人相對安營七日．到第七日兩軍交戰．那一日以色列人殺了亞蘭人步兵十萬．
    [kjv] And they pitched one over against the other seven days. And so it was, that in the seventh day the battle was joined: and the children of Israel slew of the Syrians an hundred thousand footmen in one day.
    [strongs] 2583 And they camped, 0428 these 5980 over against 0428 these, 7651 seven 3117 days. 1961 And it was, 3117 in the day 7637 seventh 5927 and came up 4421 the battle. 5221 And struck 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 0758 Syria, 3967 a hundred 0505 thousand 7273 foot-man 3117 in day 0259 one.
20:30 [cbb5] 其餘的逃入亞弗城．城牆塌倒、壓死剩下的二萬七千人．便哈達也逃入城、藏在嚴密的屋子裡。
    [kjv] But the rest fled to Aphek, into the city; and there a wall fell upon twenty and seven thousand of the men that were left. And Benhadad fled, and came into the city, into an inner chamber.
    [strongs] 5127 And ran away 1992 those 3498 remaining 0663 to Aphek, 0000 to 5892 the city. 5307 {And} out fell 7023 the wall 0000 on 6242 twenty- 7651 seven 0505 thousand 0376 men 3498 {of} those left. 1130 And Ben-Hadad 5127 fled 0935 and came 0000 into 5892 the city, 2315 an inner 2315 into room.
20:31 [cbb5] 他的臣僕對他說、我們聽說以色列王都是仁慈的王．現在我們不如腰束麻布、頭套繩索、出去投降以色列王．或者他存留王的性命。
    [kjv] And his servants said unto him, Behold now, we have heard that the kings of the house of Israel are merciful kings: let us, I pray thee, put sackcloth on our loins, and ropes upon our heads, and go out to the king of Israel: peradventure he will save thy life.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0000 to him 5650 his servants, 2009 Behold 3808 not, 8085 we have heard 0000 that 4428 the kings of 1004 the household of 3478 Israel, 4428 that kings of 7356 mercy 1992 they {are}. 7760 let us put 4994 Please 8242 sackcloth 4975 on our loins, 5688 and ropes 7218 on our heads, 1980 and go 0000 to 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 0194 perhaps 2421 he will keep alive 5315 your life.
20:32 [cbb5] 於是他們腰束麻布、頭套繩索、去見以色列王、說、王的僕人便哈達說、求王存留我的性命．亞哈說、他還活著麼．他是我的兄弟。
    [kjv] So they girded sackcloth on their loins, and put ropes on their heads, and came to the king of Israel, and said, Thy servant Benhadad saith, I pray thee, let me live. And he said, Is he yet alive? he is my brother.
    [strongs] 2296 And they girded 8242 sackcloth 4975 on their loins 5688 and ropes 7218 on their heads. 0935 And they came in 0000 to 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 0559 and said, 5650 Your servant 1130 Ben-Hadad 0559 has said, 3427 let live 4994 Please 5315 my life. 0559 And he said, 5750 Yet is he 2416 alive? 0251 my brother 1931 He {is}.
20:33 [cbb5] 這些人留心探出他的口氣來．便急忙就著他的話說、便哈達是王的兄弟．王說、你們去請他來．便哈達出來見王、王就請他上車。
    [kjv] Now the men did diligently observe whether any thing would come from him, and did hastily catch it: and they said, Thy brother Benhadad. Then he said, Go ye, bring him. Then Benhadad came forth to him; and he caused him to come up into the chariot.
    [strongs] 0376 And the men 5172 observed 0553 and made haste 2388 and caught 0000 {it} from him, 0559 and said, 0251 Your brother 1130 Ben-Hadad. 0559 And he said, 1980 Go, 3381 bring him. 3318 And came out 0000 to him 1130 Ben-Hadad, 5927 and he took him up 0000 on 4818 the chariot.
20:34 [cbb5] 便哈達對王說、我父從你父那裡所奪的城邑、我必歸還．你可以在大馬色立街市、像我父在撒瑪利亞所立的一樣．亞哈說、我照此立約、放你回去．就與他立約、放他去了。
    [kjv] And Ben-hadad said unto him, The cities, which my father took from thy father, I will restore; and thou shalt make streets for thee in Damascus, as my father made in Samaria. Then said Ahab, I will send thee away with this covenant. So he made a covenant with him, and sent him away.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said 0000 to him, 5892 The cities 0000 that 3947 took 0001 my father 0000 from 0001 your father, 7725 I give back. 2351 And streets 7760 you will make 0000 for yourself 1834 in Damascus 0834 as 6213 did 0001 my father 8111 in Samaria. 0589 Then I 1285 with the covenant 7971 will let you go. 3772 And he cut 0000 with him 1285 a covenant 7971 and sent him away.
20:35 [cbb5] 有先知的一個門徒、奉耶和華的命對他的同伴說、你打我罷．那人不肯打他．
    [kjv] And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said unto his neighbour in the word of the LORD, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man refused to smite him.
    [strongs] 0376 And man 0259 one 1121 of the sons of 5030 the prophets 0559 said 0413 to 7453 his neighbor, 1697 by the word of 3068 Yahweh, 5221 strike me 4994 Please. 3985 And refused 0376 the man 5221 to strike him.
20:36 [cbb5] 他就對那人說、你既不聽從耶和華的話、你一離開我、必有獅子咬死你．那人一離開他、果然遇見獅子、把他咬死了。
    [kjv] Then said he unto him, Because thou hast not obeyed the voice of the LORD, behold, as soon as thou art departed from me, a lion shall slay thee. And as soon as he was departed from him, a lion found him, and slew him.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said 0000 to him, 0000 Because 3808 not 8085 have you listened 6963 to the voice of 3068 Yahweh, 2009 behold, you 1980 will go 0000 from me 5221 and will strike you 0738 the lion. 1980 And he went 0000 from him, 4672 and found him 0738 the lion 5227 and struck him.
20:37 [cbb5] 先知的門徒又遇見一個人、對他說、你打我罷．那人就打他、將他打傷。
    [kjv] Then he found another man, and said, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man smote him, so that in smiting he wounded him.
    [strongs] 4672 And he found 0376 man 0312 another, 0559 and said, 5221 strike me 4994 Please. 5227 And struck him 0376 the man, 5221 striking 6481 and wounding.
20:38 [cbb5] 他就去了、用頭巾蒙眼、改換面目、在路旁等候王．
    [kjv] So the prophet departed, and waited for the king by the way, and disguised himself with ashes upon his face.
    [strongs] 1980 And went 5830 the prophet 5975 and stood 4428 for the king 0000 on 4546 the highway, 2664 and disguised himself 0666 with ashes 0000 on 5869 his eyes.
20:39 [cbb5] 王從那裡經過、他向王呼叫說、僕人在陣上的時候、有人帶了一個人來、對我說、你看守這人、若把他失了、你的性命必代替他的性命、不然、你必交出一他連得銀子來．
    [kjv] And as the king passed by, he cried unto the king: and he said, Thy servant went out into the midst of the battle; and, behold, a man turned aside, and brought a man unto me, and said, Keep this man: if by any means he be missing, then shall thy life be for his life, or else thou shalt pay a talent of silver.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 4428 the king 5674 {as} passed by 0000 that he 6817 cried 0000 to 4428 the king, 0559 and said, 5650 Your servant 5927 went out 8432 into the middle of 4421 the battle, 2009 and, behold, 0376 a man 5493 turned aside 0935 and brought 0000 to me 0376 a man, 0559 and said, 8104 Guard 0376 man 0000 this. 0518 if 3615 at all 6485 is he missing, 1961 then will be 5315 your life 3588 for 2416 his life, 0176 or 3603 a talent of 3701 silver 8254 you will weigh out.
20:40 [cbb5] 僕人正在忙亂之間、那人就不見了．以色列王對他說、你自己定妥了．必照樣判斷你。
