5:1 [cbb5] 推羅王希蘭、平素愛大衛．他聽見以色列人膏所羅門、接續他父親作王、就差遣臣僕來見他。
    [kjv] And Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants unto Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a lover of David.
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 2438 Hiram 4428 the king of 6866 Tyre 0000 his 5650 servants 0413 to 8010 Solomon, 3588 for 8085 he heard 3588 that 0000 him 4886 they had anointed 4428 for king 8478 instead of 0001 his father. 3588 For 0157 a lover 1961 was 2438 Hiram 1732 of David 3605 all 3117 the days.
5:2 [cbb5] 所羅門也差遣人去見希蘭、說、
    [kjv] And Solomon sent to Hiram, saying,
    [strongs] 7971 and sent 8010 Solomon 0413 to 2438 Hiram, 0559 saying,
5:3 [cbb5] 你知道我父親大衛、因四圍的爭戰、不能為耶和華他　神的名建殿、直等到耶和華使仇敵都服在他腳下。
    [kjv] Thou knowest how that David my father could not build an house unto the name of the LORD his God for the wars which were about him on every side, until the LORD put them under the soles of his feet.
    [strongs] 0859 You 3645 knew 1732 David, 0001 my father, 3588 that 3808 not 3201 he was able 1139 to build 1004 a house 8034 to the name of 3068 Yahweh 0430 his God, 6440 because of 4421 the warfare 0834 that {was} 5937 around him, 5704 until 5414 had put 3068 Yahweh 0853 them 8478 under 3701 the soles of 7272 his feet.
5:4 [cbb5] 現在耶和華我的　神使我四圍平安、沒有仇敵、沒有災禍。
    [kjv] But now the LORD my God hath given me rest on every side, so that there is neither adversary nor evil occurrent.
    [strongs] 6258 And now 5117 has given rest 3068 Yahweh 0430 my God 0000 to me 5439 all around 0369 there is no 7854 adversary 0000 or 6294 happening 7451 evil.
5:5 [cbb5] 我定意要為耶和華我　神的名建殿．是照耶和華應許我父親大衛的話、說、我必使你兒子接續你坐你的位、他必為我的名建殿。
    [kjv] And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name.
    [strongs] 2009 And, listen, 0559 I am saying 1139 to build 1004 a house 8034 to the name of 3068 Yahweh 0430 my God, 0834 as 1696 spoke 3068 Yahweh 1732 to David 0001 my father, 0559 saying, 1121 Your son 0834 whom 5414 I will appoint 8478 in your place 5921 on 2678 your throne, 1931 he 1129 will build 1004 the house 8034 for My name.
5:6 [cbb5] 所以求你吩咐你的僕人、在利巴嫩為我砍伐香柏木、我的僕人也必幫助他們．我必照你所定的、給你僕人的工價．因為你知道、在我們中間沒有人像西頓人善於砍伐樹木。
    [kjv] Now therefore command thou that they hew me cedar trees out of Lebanon; and my servants shall be with thy servants: and unto thee will I give hire for thy servants according to all that thou shalt appoint: for thou knowest that there is not among us any that can skill to hew timber like unto the Sidonians.
    [strongs] 6258 And now, 4687 command 3772 that they cut down 0000 for me 0730 cedars 4480 out of 3844 Lebanon, 5650 and my servants 1961 will be 5921 with 5650 your servants. 7939 And wages for 5650 your servants 5414 I will give 0000 to you, 3605 according to all 0834 that 0559 you say, 3588 for 0859 you 3045 know 3588 that 3808 is not 8432 among us 0376 a man 3045 knowing 3772 to cut 6086 timber 6722 like the Sidonians.
5:7 [cbb5] 希蘭聽見所羅門的話、就甚喜悅、說、今日應當稱頌耶和華、因他賜給大衛一個有智慧的兒子、治理這眾多的民。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, when Hiram heard the words of Solomon, that he rejoiced greatly, and said, Blessed be the LORD this day, which hath given unto David a wise son over this great people.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was 8085 when heard 2438 Hiram 1697 the words of 8010 Solomon, 8056 that he rejoiced 3966 exceedingly, 0559 and said, 1288 Blessed {be} 3068 Yahweh 3117 today 0834 who 5414 has given 1732 to David 1121 a son 2450 wise 5921 over 5971 people 1419 great 2088 this.
5:8 [cbb5] 希蘭打發人去見所羅門、說、你差遣人向我所題的那事、我都聽見了．論到香柏木和松木、我必照你的心願而行。
    [kjv] And Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, I have considered the things which thou sentest to me for: and I will do all thy desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning timber of fir.
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 2438 Hiram 0413 to 8010 Solomon 0559 saying, 6085 I have heard 0834 what 7971 you have sent for 0413 to me. 0589 I 6213 will do 3605 all 2656 your desire 6086 with the wood of 0730 cedar 6086 and with wood of 1265 juniper.
5:9 [cbb5] 我的僕人必將這木料從利巴嫩運到海裡、紮成筏子、浮海運到你所指定我的地方、在那裡拆開、你就可以收取．你也要成全我的心願、將食物給我的家。
    [kjv] My servants shall bring them down from Lebanon unto the sea: and I will convey them by sea in floats unto the place that thou shalt appoint me, and will cause them to be discharged there, and thou shalt receive them: and thou shalt accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household.
    [strongs] 5650 My servants 3381 will bring {it} down 4480 from 3844 Lebanon 3220 to the sea. 0589 And I 7760 will make them into 1702 floats 3220 in the sea, 5704 to 4725 the place 0834 that 7971 you send 0000 to me. 5310 And I will spread them out 8033 there. 0859 And you 5375 will take {them} up 0859 and you 6213 will do 2656 my desire 5414 to give 3899 food 1004 {for} my household.
5:10 [cbb5] 於是希蘭照著所羅門所要的、給他香柏木和松木。
    [kjv] So Hiram gave Solomon cedar trees and fir trees according to all his desire.
    [strongs] 1961 And was 2438 Hiram 5414 giving 8010 to Solomon 6086 trees of 0730 cedar 6086 and trees of 1265 juniper, 3605 all 2656 his desire.
5:11 [cbb5] 所羅門給希蘭麥子二萬歌珥、清油二十歌珥、作他家的食物．所羅門每年都是這樣給希蘭。
    [kjv] And Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand measures of wheat for food to his household, and twenty measures of pure oil: thus gave Solomon to Hiram year by year.
    [strongs] 8010 And Solomon 5414 gave 2438 Hiram 6242 twenty 0505 thousand 3734 kors 2406 of wheat, 4361 food 1004 for his household 6242 and twenty 3734 kors 8081 of oil 3795 beaten. 5414 Thus gave 8010 Solomon 2438 to Hiram 8141 year 8141 by year.
5:12 [cbb5] 耶和華照著所應許的、賜智慧給所羅門．希蘭與所羅門和好、彼此立約。
    [kjv] And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made a league together.
    [strongs] 3068 And Yahweh 5414 gave 2451 wisdom 8010 to Solomon, 0834 as 1696 He had spoken 0000 to him. 1961 And was 7965 peace 0996 between 2438 Hiram 0000 and 8010 Solomon, 3772 and they cut 1285 a covenant, 8147 the two of them.
5:13 [cbb5] 所羅門王從以色列人中、挑取服苦的人、共有三萬．
    [kjv] And king Solomon raised a levy out of all Israel; and the levy was thirty thousand men.
    [strongs] 5927 And made go up 4428 King 8010 Solomon 4522 a labor force 3605 out of all 3478 Israel. 1961 And was 4522 the labor force 7970 thirty 0505 thousand 0376 men.
5:14 [cbb5] 派他們輪流、每月一萬人上利巴嫩去．一個月在利巴嫩、兩個月在家裡．亞多尼蘭掌管他們。
    [kjv] And he sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month by courses: a month they were in Lebanon, and two months at home: and Adoniram was over the levy.
    [strongs] 7971 And he sent them 3844 to Lebanon, 6235 ten 0505 thousand 2320 in the month, 2487 by relays. 2320 A month 1961 they were 3844 in Lebanon, 8147 two 3391 months 1004 in their own house. 0141 And Adoniram 1961 was 4522 over the labor force.
5:15 [cbb5] 所羅門用七萬扛抬的、八萬在山上鑿石頭的．
    [kjv] And Solomon had threescore and ten thousand that bare burdens, and fourscore thousand hewers in the mountains;
    [strongs] 1961 And were 8010 to Solomon 7657 seventy 0505 thousand 5375 carrying 5449 burdens, 8084 and eighty 0505 thousand 2672 hewing 2022 in the mountain,
5:16 [cbb5] 此外所羅門用三千三百督工的、監管工人。
    [kjv] Beside the chief of Solomon's officers which were over the work, three thousand and three hundred, which ruled over the people that wrought in the work.
    [strongs] 0905 besides 8269 the captains of 5324 the deputies 8010 of Solomon, 0000 who {were} 5921 over 4399 the work, 7967 three 0505 thousand 7967 and three 3963 hundred, 7287 those ruling 5971 over the people 6213 who were working 4399 in the work.
5:17 [cbb5] 王下令、人就鑿出又大又寶貴的石頭來、用以立殿的根基。
    [kjv] And the king commanded, and they brought great stones, costly stones, and hewed stones, to lay the foundation of the house.
    [strongs] 6680 And commanded 4428 the king, 5265 and they quarried 0068 stones 1419 great, 0068 stones 3368 costly, 3245 to lay the foundation of 1004 the house, 0068 stones of 2672 hewing.
5:18 [cbb5] 所羅門的匠人、和希蘭的匠人、並迦巴勒人、都將石頭鑿好、豫備木料和石頭建殿。
    [kjv] And Solomon's builders and Hiram's builders did hew them, and the stonesquarers: so they prepared timber and stones to build the house.
    [strongs] 6458 And hewed out 1129 builders 8010 Solomon's 1129 and builders 2438 Hiram's 1382 and the Giblites, 0631 and prepared 6081 the wood 0068 and the stones 1139 to build 1004 the house.
