11:1 [cbb5] 亞捫人的王拿轄上來、對著基列雅比安營．雅比眾人對拿轄說、你與我們立約、我們就服事你。
    [kjv] Then Nahash the Ammonite came up, and encamped against Jabeshgilead: and all the men of Jabesh said unto Nahash, Make a covenant with us, and we will serve thee.
    [strongs] 5927 And went up 5176 Nahash 5984 the Ammonite, 2583 and camped 5921 against 3003 Jabesh- 1568 gilead. 0559 And said 3605 all 0376 the men of 3003 Jabesh 0413 to 5176 Nahash, 3772 Cut 0000 for us 1285 a covenant, 5647 and we will serve you.
11:2 [cbb5] 亞捫人拿轄說、你們若由我剜出你們各人的右眼、以此凌辱以色列眾人、我就與你們立約。
    [kjv] And Nahash the Ammonite answered them, On this condition will I make a covenant with you, that I may thrust out all your right eyes, and lay it for a reproach upon all Israel.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0413 to 1992 them 5176 Nahash 5984 the Ammonite, 2063 With this 3772 I will cut a covenant 0000 for you, 5315 when is dug out 0000 for you 3605 all 5869 the eye 3225 right, 7760 and I will make it 2281 a reproach 5921 upon 3605 all 3478 Israel.
11:3 [cbb5] 雅比的長老對他說、求你寬容我們七日、等我們打發人往以色列的全境去、若沒有人救我們、我們就出來歸順你。
    [kjv] And the elders of Jabesh said unto him, Give us seven days' respite, that we may send messengers unto all the coasts of Israel: and then, if there be no man to save us, we will come out to thee.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0413 to him 2205 the elders of 3003 Jabesh, 7503 Leave alone 0000 us 7651 seven 3117 days, 7971 that we may send 4397 messengers 3600 in all 1366 the territory of 3478 Israel. 0518 And if 0369 there is no 3467 deliverer 0853 for us, 3318 then we will come out 0413 to you.
11:4 [cbb5] 使者到了掃羅住的基比亞、將這話說給百姓聽、百姓就都放聲而哭。
    [kjv] Then came the messengers to Gibeah of Saul, and told the tidings in the ears of the people: and all the people lifted up their voices, and wept.
    [strongs] 0935 And came to 4397 the messengers of 1390 Gibeah 7586 Saul, 1696 and they spoke 1697 the words 0241 in the ears of 5971 the people, 5375 and lifted up 3605 all 5971 the people 6963 their voice 1058 and wept.
11:5 [cbb5] 掃羅正從田間趕牛回來、問說、百姓為甚麼哭呢。眾人將雅比人的話告訴他。
    [kjv] And, behold, Saul came after the herd out of the field; and Saul said, What aileth the people that they weep? And they told him the tidings of the men of Jabesh.
    [strongs] 2009 And look, 7586 Saul 0935 came 0310 behind 1241 the oxen 4480 from 7704 the field. 0559 And said 7586 Saul, 4100 What {is} 5971 to the people 3588 that 1058 they weep? 5608 So they related 0000 to him 1697 the words of 0376 the men of 3003 Jabesh.
11:6 [cbb5] 掃羅聽見這話、就被　神的靈大大感動、甚是發怒。
    [kjv] And the Spirit of God came upon Saul when he heard those tidings, and his anger was kindled greatly.
    [strongs] 6743 And came powerfully 7307 the Spirit of 0430 God 5921 on 7586 Saul 8085 when he heard 1697 words 0428 these, 2734 and burned 0639 his anger 3966 greatly.
11:7 [cbb5] 他將一對牛切成塊子、託付使者傳送以色列的全境、說、凡不出來跟隨掃羅和撒母耳的、也必這樣切開他的牛．於是耶和華使百姓懼怕、他們就都出來如同一人。
    [kjv] And he took a yoke of oxen, and hewed them in pieces, and sent them throughout all the coasts of Israel by the hands of messengers, saying, Whosoever cometh not forth after Saul and after Samuel, so shall it be done unto his oxen. And the fear of the LORD fell on the people, and they came out with one consent.
    [strongs] 3947 And he took 6776 the team of 1241 oxen 5408 and cut them in pieces, 7971 and sent 3605 in all 1366 the territory of 3478 Israel 3027 by the hand of 4397 the messengers, 0559 saying, 0834 Whoever 0369 does not 3318 come out 0310 after 7586 Saul 0310 and after 8050 Samuel, 3541 so 6213 it will be done 1241 to his oxen. 5307 And fell 6343 the terror of 3068 Yahweh 5921 upon 5971 the people 3318 and they came out 0376 as man 0259 one.
11:8 [cbb5] 掃羅在比色數點他們．以色列人有三十萬、猶大人有三萬。
    [kjv] And when he numbered them in Bezek, the children of Israel were three hundred thousand, and the men of Judah thirty thousand.
    [strongs] 6485 And he mustered them 0966 in Bezek, 1961 and were 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 7969 three 3967 hundred 0505 thousand, 0376 and the men of 3063 Judah 7970 thirty 0505 thousand.
11:9 [cbb5] 眾人對那使者說、你們要回覆基列雅比人說、明日太陽近午的時候、你們必得解救。使者回去告訴雅比人、他們就歡喜了。
    [kjv] And they said unto the messengers that came, Thus shall ye say unto the men of Jabeshgilead, To morrow, by that time the sun be hot, ye shall have help. And the messengers came and shewed it to the men of Jabesh; and they were glad.
    [strongs] 0559 And they said 4397 to the messengers 0935 who came, 3541 Thus 0559 you will say 0376 to the men of 3003 Jabesh- 1568 gilead, 4279 Tomorrow 1961 there will be 0000 for you 8668 deliverance 2527 in the heat of 8121 the sun. 0935 And came 4397 the messengers 5046 and told 0376 to the men of 3003 Jabesh, 8051 and they rejoiced.
11:10 [cbb5] 於是雅比人對亞捫人說、明日我們出來歸順你們、你們可以隨意待我們。
    [kjv] Therefore the men of Jabesh said, To morrow we will come out unto you, and ye shall do with us all that seemeth good unto you.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0376 the men of 3003 Jabesh, 4279 Tomorrow 3318 we will come out 0413 to you, 6213 and you do 0000 to us 3605 according to all 2896 the good 5869 in your eyes,
11:11 [cbb5] 第二日、掃羅將百姓分為三隊、在晨更的時候入了亞捫人的營、擊殺他們直到太陽近午、剩下的人都逃散、沒有二人同在一處的。
    [kjv] And it was so on the morrow, that Saul put the people in three companies; and they came into the midst of the host in the morning watch, and slew the Ammonites until the heat of the day: and it came to pass, that they which remained were scattered, so that two of them were not left together.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was 4283 on the next day 7760 that put 7586 Saul 5971 the people 7969 three 7218 companies, 0935 and they came 8432 into the middle of 4264 the camp 0821 in the watch of 1242 the morning, 5221 and struck 5983 Ammon 5704 until 2552 the heat of 3117 the day. 1961 And it was 7604 the ones left 6327 that were scattered, 3808 and not 7604 was left 0854 among them 8147 two 3162 together.
11:12 [cbb5] 百姓對撒母耳說、那說掃羅豈能管理我們的、是誰呢．可以將他交出來、我們好殺死他。
    [kjv] And the people said unto Samuel, Who is he that said, Shall Saul reign over us? bring the men, that we may put them to death.
    [strongs] 0559 Then said 5971 the people 0413 to 8050 Samuel, 4310 Who {is} 0559 he who said, 7586 Saul 4427 Shall rule 0000 over us? 5414 Give 0376 the men 4191 and we will kill them.
11:13 [cbb5] 掃羅說、今日耶和華在以色列中施行拯救、所以不可殺人。
    [kjv] And Saul said, There shall not a man be put to death this day: for to day the LORD hath wrought salvation in Israel.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 7586 Saul, 3808 Not 4191 will be executed 0376 a man 3117 on day 0000 this, 3588 for 3117 today 6213 worked 3068 Yahweh 8668 deliverance 3478 in Israel.
11:14 [cbb5] 撒母耳對百姓說、我們要往吉甲去、在那裡立國。
    [kjv] Then said Samuel to the people, Come, and let us go to Gilgal, and renew the kingdom there.
    [strongs] 0559 Then said 8050 Samuel 0413 to 5971 the people, 1980 Come, 1980 and let us go 1537 {to} Gilgal, 2318 and renew 8033 there 4410 the kingdom.
11:15 [cbb5] 眾百姓就到了吉甲那裡、在耶和華面前立掃羅為王、又在耶和華面前獻平安祭．掃羅和以色列眾人大大歡喜。
    [kjv] And all the people went to Gilgal; and there they made Saul king before the LORD in Gilgal; and there they sacrificed sacrifices of peace offerings before the LORD; and there Saul and all the men of Israel rejoiced greatly.
    [strongs] 1980 And went 3605 all 5971 the people 1537 {to} Gilgal, 4427 and caused to rule 8033 there 7586 Saul 6440 in the presence of 3068 Yahweh 1537 in Gilgal. 2076 And they sacrificed 8033 there 2077 sacrifices, 8002 peace-offerings 6440 in the presence of 3068 Yahweh, 8056 and rejoiced 8033 there 7586 Saul 3605 and all 0376 the men of 3478 Israel 5921 - 3966 greatly.
