12:1 [cbb5] 撒母耳對以色列眾人說、你們向我所求的、我已應允了、為你們立了一個王。
    [kjv] And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have made a king over you.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 8050 Samuel 0413 to 3605 all 3478 Israel, 2009 Listen 8085 I listened 6966 to your voice 3605 in all 0834 that 0559 you said 0000 to me, 4427 and I made rule 0000 over you 4428 a king.
12:2 [cbb5] 現在有這王在你們前面行．我已年老髮白、我的兒子都在你們這裡．我從幼年直到今日、都在你們前面行。
    [kjv] And now, behold, the king walketh before you: and I am old and grayheaded; and, behold, my sons are with you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day.

12:3 [cbb5] 我在這裡．你們要在耶和華和他的受膏者面前、給我作見證、我奪過誰的牛、搶過誰的驢、欺負過誰、虐待過誰、從誰手裡受過賄賂因而眼瞎呢．若有、我必償還。
    [kjv] Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you.

12:4 [cbb5] 眾人說、你未曾欺負我們、虐待我們、也未曾從誰手裡受過甚麼。
    [kjv] And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of any man's hand.
    [strongs] 0559 And they said, 3808 not 6235 You have oppressed us 3808 and not 7535 you have abused us 3808 and not 3947 you have taken 3027 from the hand of 0376 man 3972 any.
12:5 [cbb5] 撒母耳對他們說、你們在我手裡沒有找著甚麼、有耶和華和他的受膏者今日為證．他們說、願他為證。
    [kjv] And he said unto them, The LORD is witness against you, and his anointed is witness this day, that ye have not found ought in my hand. And they answered, He is witness.

12:6 [cbb5] 撒母耳對百姓說、從前立摩西、亞倫、又領你們列祖出埃及地的、是耶和華。
    [kjv] And Samuel said unto the people, It is the LORD that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 8050 Samuel 0413 to 5971 the people 3068 Yahweh 0834 who 6213 made 4872 Moses 0853 and 0175 Aaron, 0834 and who 5927 brought up 0001 your forefathers 0776 from the land of 4714 Egypt.
12:7 [cbb5] 現在你們要站住、等我在耶和華面前對你們講論耶和華向你們和你們列祖、所行一切公義的事。
    [kjv] Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers.

12:8 [cbb5] 從前雅各到了埃及．後來你們列祖呼求耶和華、耶和華就差遣摩西、亞倫領你們列祖出埃及、使他們在這地方居住。
    [kjv] When Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place.

12:9 [cbb5] 他們卻忘記耶和華他們的　神、他就把他們付與夏瑣將軍西西拉的手裡、和非利士人並摩押王的手裡．於是這些人常來攻擊他們。
    [kjv] And when they forgat the LORD their God, he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the host of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fought against them.
    [strongs] 7911 But they forgot 3068 Yahweh 0430 their God, 4396 and He sold 0853 them 3027 into the hand of 5516 Sisera's 8269 commander of 6635 the army of 2674 Hazor, 3027 and into hand 6430 Philistines'. 3027 And into the hand of 4428 king 4124 Moab's. 3898 And they fought 0000 against them.
12:10 [cbb5] 他們就呼求耶和華、說、我們離棄耶和華、事奉巴力、和亞斯他錄、是有罪了．現在求你救我們脫離仇敵的手、我們必事奉你。
    [kjv] And they cried unto the LORD, and said, We have sinned, because we have forsaken the LORD, and have served Baalim and Ashtaroth: but now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve thee.
    [strongs] 2199 And they cried 0413 to 3068 Yahweh 0559 and said, 2398 We have sinned, 3588 for 5800 we abandoned 3068 Yahweh 5647 and served 1168 the Baals 0853 and 6252 the Ashtaroth. 6258 But now 5337 deliver us 3027 from {the} hand 0341 our enemies. 5647 And we will serve You.
12:11 [cbb5] 耶和華就差遣耶路巴力、比但、耶弗他、撒母耳、救你們脫離四圍仇敵的手、你們纔安然居住。
    [kjv] And the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and ye dwelled safe.
    [strongs] 7971 Then sent 3068 Yahweh 3378 Jerubbaal, 0853 and 0917 Bedan, 0853 and 3316 Jephthah, 0853 and 8050 Samuel, 5337 and delivered 0853 you 3027 from {the} hand 0341 your enemies. 5437 From all around 3427 and you lived 0983 {in} safety.
12:12 [cbb5] 你們見亞捫人的王拿轄來攻擊你們、就對我說、我們定要一個王治理我們．其實耶和華你們的　神是你們的王。
    [kjv] And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay; but a king shall reign over us: when the LORD your God was your king.
    [strongs] 7200 When you saw 3588 that 5176 Nahash 4428 the king of 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon 0935 came 5921 against you, 0559 then you said 0000 to Me, 3808 No, 3588 for 4428 a king 4427 will rule 5921 over us. 3068 Though Yahweh 0430 your God 4428 {was} your king.
12:13 [cbb5] 現在你們所求所選的王在這裡、看哪、耶和華已經為你們立王了。
    [kjv] Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and whom ye have desired! and, behold, the LORD hath set a king over you.
    [strongs] 6258 And now, 2009 behold, 4428 the king 0834 whom 0977 you chose, 0834 whom 7592 you asked for, 2009 and behold, 5414 gave 3068 Yahweh 5921 over you 4428 a king.
12:14 [cbb5] 你們若敬畏耶和華、事奉他、聽從他的話、不違背他的命令、你們和治理你們的王也都順從耶和華你們的　神就好了。
    [kjv] If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:
    [strongs] 0518 If 3372 you will revere 3068 Yahweh, 5647 and serve 0853 Him, 8085 and listen 6963 to His voice, 3808 and not 4784 rebel 0854 against 6310 mouth 3068 Yahweh's, 1961 then you will 1571 both 0859 you 1571 and also 4428 the king 0834 that 4427 rules 5921 over you, 0310 follow 3068 Yahweh 0430 your God.
12:15 [cbb5] 倘若不聽從耶和華的話、違背他的命令、耶和華的手必攻擊你們、像從前攻擊你們列祖一樣。
    [kjv] But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers.
    [strongs] 0518 But if 3808 not 8085 your will listen 6963 to voice 3068 Yahweh's 4784 and you rebel 0854 against 6310 mouth 3068 Yahweh's 1961 then will be 3027 the hand of 3068 Yahweh 0000 against you 0001 {and} against your fathers.
12:16 [cbb5] 現在你們要站住、看耶和華在你們眼前要行一件大事。
    [kjv] Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes.
    [strongs] 1571 Also 6258 now, 3320 present yourselves 7200 and see 1697 thing 1419 great 0000 this 0834 that 3068 Yahweh 6213 will do 5869 in front of your eyes.
12:17 [cbb5] 這不是割麥子的時候麼．我求告耶和華、他必打雷降雨、使你們又知道又看出、你們求立王的事、是在耶和華面前犯大罪了。
    [kjv] Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king.
    [strongs] 3808 {Is it} not 7152 harvest 2406 wheat 3117 today? 7121 I will call 0413 to 3068 Yahweh 5414 that He may give 6963 sounds 4306 and rain. 3045 Then know 7200 and see 3588 that 7451 your evil 7227 {is} great 0834 that 6213 you have done 5869 in the eyes of 3068 Yahweh 7592 to ask 0000 for yourselves 4428 a king.
12:18 [cbb5] 於是撒母耳求告耶和華．耶和華就在這日打雷降雨、眾民便甚懼怕耶和華和撒母耳。
    [kjv] So Samuel called unto the LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel.
    [strongs] 7121 And called 8050 Samuel 0413 to 3068 Yahweh, 5414 and gave 3068 Yahweh 6963 sounds 4306 and rain 3117 in day 1931 that, 3372 and feared 3605 all 5971 the people 3966 greatly 3068 Yahweh 0853 and 8050 Samuel.
12:19 [cbb5] 眾民對撒母耳說、求你為僕人們禱告耶和華你的　神、免得我們死亡、因為我們求立王的事、正是罪上加罪了。
    [kjv] And all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy servants unto the LORD thy God, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king.
    [strongs] 0559 Then said 3605 all 5971 the people 0413 to 8050 Samuel, 6419 Pray 5704 for 5650 your servants 0413 to 3068 Yahweh 0430 your God, 0408 that not 4191 we may die, 3588 because 3254 we have added 5921 to 3605 all 2403 our sins 7451 evil, 7592 to ask 0000 for ourselves 4428 a king.
12:20 [cbb5] 撒母耳對百姓說、不要懼怕．你們雖然行了這惡、卻不要偏離耶和華、只要盡心事奉他。
    [kjv] And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart;
    [strongs] 0559 And said 8050 Samuel 0413 to 5971 the people, 0408 not 3272 Do fear. 0859 You 6213 have done 3605 all 7451 evil 0000 this. 0389 Only 0408 not 5493 do turn aside 0310 from following 3068 Yahweh, 5647 and serve 3068 Yahweh 3605 with all 3824 your heart.
12:21 [cbb5] 若偏離耶和華去順從那不能救人的虛神、是無益的。
    [kjv] And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain.
    [strongs] 3808 And not 5493 do turn aside 3588 for 0310 after 8414 vain things 0834 which 3808 not 3276 do profit 3808 and not 5337 do deliver, 3588 for 8414 vain 1992 they {are}.
12:22 [cbb5] 耶和華既喜悅選你們作他的子民、就必因他的大名不撇棄你們。
    [kjv] For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.

12:23 [cbb5] 至於我、斷不停止為你們禱告、以致得罪耶和華．我必以善道正路指教你們。
    [kjv] Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way:

12:24 [cbb5] 只要你們敬畏耶和華、誠誠實實的盡心事奉他、想念他向你們所行的事何等大。
    [kjv] Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

12:25 [cbb5] 你們若仍然作惡、你們和你們的王、必一同滅亡。
    [kjv] But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king.
    [strongs] 0518 But if 7489 still 7489 you do bad, 1571 both 0859 you 1571 and 4428 your king 5595 will be swept away.
