13:1 [cbb5] 掃羅登基年四十歲．作以色列王二年的時候、
    [kjv] Saul reigned one year; and when he had reigned two years over Israel,
    [strongs] 1121 A son of 8141 a year 7586 {was} Saul 4427 when he became king 8147 and two 8141 years 4427 he ruled 0000 over 3478 Israel.
13:2 [cbb5] 就從以色列中揀選了三千人．二千跟隨掃羅在密抹、和伯特利山．一千跟隨約拿單在便雅憫的基比亞、其餘的人掃羅都打發各回各家去了。
    [kjv] Saul chose him three thousand men of Israel; whereof two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent.

13:3 [cbb5] 約拿單攻擊迦巴、非利士人的防營、非利士人聽見了．掃羅就在遍地吹角、意思說、要使希伯來人聽見。
    [kjv] And Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. And Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews hear.
    [strongs] 5221 And struck 3120 Jonathan 5333 the fort of 6430 the Philistines 0834 that {was} 1387 in Geba, 8085 and heard 6430 the Philistines. 7586 And Saul 8628 blew 7972 with the ram's horn 3605 in all 0776 the land, 0559 saying, 8085 May hear 5680 the Hebrews.
13:4 [cbb5] 以色列眾人聽見掃羅攻擊非利士人的防營．又聽見以色列人為非利士人所憎惡、就跟隨掃羅聚集在吉甲。
    [kjv] And all Israel heard say that Saul had smitten a garrison of the Philistines, and that Israel also was had in abomination with the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal.
    [strongs] 3605 And all 3478 Israel 8085 heard 0559 saying, 5221 struck 7586 Saul 5333 the fort of 6430 the Philistines, 1571 and had also 0887 become offensive 3478 Israel 6430 to the Philistines. 6817 Then were called 5971 the people 0310 after 7586 Saul 1537 {to} Gilgal.
13:5 [cbb5] 非利士人聚集要與以色列人爭戰、有車三萬輛、馬兵六千、步兵像海邊的沙那樣多、就上來在伯亞文東邊的密抹安營。
    [kjv] And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Bethaven.
    [strongs] 6430 And the Philistines 0622 gathered 3898 to fight 5973 with 3478 Israel 7970 thirty 0505 thousand 7393 chariots, 8337 and six 0505 thousand 6571 horsemen, 5971 and people 2344 as the sand 0834 that {is} 5921 on 8193 the lip of 3220 the sea 7230 for multitude. 5927 And they came 2583 and camped 4366 in Michmash, 6926 east of 1007 Bethaven.
13:6 [cbb5] 以色列百姓見自己危急窘迫、就藏在山洞、叢林、石穴、隱密處、和坑中。
    [kjv] When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.
    [strongs] 0376 And the men of 3478 Israel 7200 saw 3588 that 6857 {it was} narrow 0000 to them, 3588 for 5065 were pressed 5971 the people. 2244 And hid themselves 5971 the people 4631 in caves, 2336 and in crevices, 5553 and in crags, 6877 and in tombs, 0953 and in cisterns.
13:7 [cbb5] 有些希伯來人過了約但河、逃到迦得和基列地．掃羅還是在吉甲、百姓都戰戰兢兢的跟隨他。
    [kjv] And some of the Hebrews went over Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.
    [strongs] 5680 And the Hebrews 5674 crossed 3383 the Jordan {River} 0776 {to} the land of 1410 Gad 1568 and Gilead. 7586 But Saul, 5750 he {was} still 1537 in Gilgal 3605 and all 5971 the people 6729 trembled 0310 following him.
13:8 [cbb5] 掃羅照著撒母耳所定的日期、等了七日．撒母耳還沒有來到吉甲、百姓也離開掃羅散去了。
    [kjv] And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.
    [strongs] 3176 Now he waited 7651 seven 3117 days 4150 to the time set 0834 that, 8050 Samuel 3808 but not 0935 did come 8050 Samuel 1537 {to} Gilgal. 6327 And scattered 5971 the people 5921 from him.
13:9 [cbb5] 掃羅說、把燔祭和平安祭帶到我這裡來．掃羅就獻上燔祭。
    [kjv] And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 7586 Saul, 5066 Bring near 0413 to me 5930 the burnt-offering 8002 and the peace-offering. 5927 And he offered 5930 the burnt-offering.
13:10 [cbb5] 剛獻完燔祭、撒母耳就到了．掃羅出去迎接他要問他好。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 3615 when he finished 5027 offering 5930 the burnt-offering, 2009 that look, 8050 Samuel 0935 came. 3318 And went out 7586 Saul 7125 to meet him, 1288 to greet him.
13:11 [cbb5] 撒母耳說、你作的是甚麼事呢．掃羅說、因為我見百姓離開我散去、你也不照所定的日期來到、而且非利士人聚集在密抹．
    [kjv] And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;
    [strongs] 0559 And said 8050 Samuel, 4100 What 6213 have you done? 0559 And said 7586 Saul, 0000 Because 7200 I saw 3588 that 5310 were scattering 5971 the people 5921 from me, 0859 and you 3808 not 0935 did come 4150 in the appointed 3117 days, 6430 and the Philistines 0622 were gathering 4366 {at} Michmash.
13:12 [cbb5] 所以我心裡說、恐怕我沒有禱告耶和華、非利士人下到吉甲攻擊我、我就勉強獻上燔祭。
    [kjv] Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.
    [strongs] 0559 Therefore, I said, 6258 Now 3381 will come 6430 the Philistines 0413 to me 1537 {to} Gilgal, 6440 and the face of 3068 Yahweh 3808 not 2470 I have made sweet, 0662 and I forced myself 5927 and I offered 5930 the burnt-offering.
13:13 [cbb5] 撒母耳對掃羅說、你作了糊塗事了、沒有遵守耶和華你　神所吩咐你的命令、若遵守、耶和華必在以色列中堅立你的王位、直到永遠。
    [kjv] And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 8050 Samuel 0413 to 7586 Saul, 5528 You acted foolishly 3808 that not 8107 you kept 4687 the commandment of 3068 Yahweh 0430 your God 0834 that 6680 He commanded you, 3588 for 6258 now 3559 would have set 3068 Yahweh 4467 your kingdom 0413 over 3478 Israel 5704 until 5769 forever.
13:14 [cbb5] 現在你的王位必不長久．耶和華已經尋著一個合他心意的人、立他作百姓的君、因為你沒有遵守耶和華所吩咐你的。
    [kjv] But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.
    [strongs] 6258 But now 4467 your kingdom 3808 not 6965 will stand. 1245 has sought 3068 Yahweh 0000 for Him 0376 a man 3820 according to His heart 6680 and has ordered him 3068 Yahweh 5057 for a leader 5921 over 5971 His people, 3588 because 3808 not 8104 you have kept 0834 what 6680 ordered you 3068 Yahweh.
13:15 [cbb5] 撒母耳就起來、從吉甲上到便雅憫的基比亞。掃羅數點跟隨他的、約有六百人。
    [kjv] And Samuel arose, and gat him up from Gilgal unto Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men.
    [strongs] 6965 Then arose 8050 Samuel 5927 and went up 4480 from 1537 Gilgal 1390 {to} Gibeah of 1144 Benjamin. 6445 And mustered 7586 Saul 5971 the people 4672 found 0000 with him, 8337 about six 3967 hundred 0376 men.
13:16 [cbb5] 掃羅和他兒子約拿單、並跟隨他們的人、都住在便雅憫的迦巴．但非利士人安營在密抹。
    [kjv] And Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people that were present with them, abode in Gibeah of Benjamin: but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.
    [strongs] 7586 Now Saul 3126 and Jonathan 1121 his son 5971 and the people 4672 found 0000 with them 3427 were staying 1387 in Geba of 1144 Benjamin, 6430 while the Philistines 2583 camped 4366 in Michmash.
13:17 [cbb5] 有掠兵從非利士營中出來、分為三隊、一隊往俄弗拉向書亞地去．
    [kjv] And the spoilers came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company turned unto the way that leadeth to Ophrah, unto the land of Shual:
    [strongs] 3318 And came out 7843 the spoilers 4264 from the camp of 6430 the Philistines 7969 {in} three 7218 companies. 7218 The company 0259 one 6437 turned 0413 to 1870 the way of 6084 Ophrah 0413 to 0776 the land of 7777 Shual.
13:18 [cbb5] 一隊往伯和崙去．一隊往洗波音谷對面的的境向曠野去。
    [kjv] And another company turned the way to Bethhoron: and another company turned to the way of the border that looketh to the valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.
    [strongs] 7218 and the company 0259 one 6437 turned 1870 the way of 1032 Beth-horon. 7218 And the company 0259 one 6437 turned 1870 the way of 1366 the border 8259 which looks down 5921 on 1516 the Valley of 6650 Zeboim 4057 toward the desert.
13:19 [cbb5] 那時以色列全地沒有一個鐵匠、因為非利士人說、恐怕希伯來人製造刀槍。
    [kjv] Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears:
    [strongs] 2796 Now a blacksmith 3808 not 4672 was to be found 3605 in all 0776 the land of 3478 Israel, 3588 for 0559 said 6430 the Philistines, 6435 Lest 6213 make 5680 the Hebrews 2719 sword 0176 or 2595 spear.
13:20 [cbb5] 以色列人要磨鋤、犁、斧、鏟、就下到非利士人那裡去磨。
    [kjv] But all the Israelites went down to the Philistines, to sharpen every man his share, and his coulter, and his axe, and his mattock.
    [strongs] 3381 And went down 3605 all 3478 Israel 6430 the Philistines 3913 to sharpen 0376 each man 4282 his plowshare, 0853 and 0855 his mattock, 0853 and 7134 his axe, 0853 and 4281 his plowshare.
13:21 [cbb5] 但有銼可以銼鏟、犁、三齒叉、斧子、並趕牛錐。
    [kjv] Yet they had a file for the mattocks, and for the coulters, and for the forks, and for the axes, and to sharpen the goads.
    [strongs] 1961 And there was 6477 the charge of 6310 a pim 4281 for the plowshares 0855 and for the mattocks 7969 and for three pronged 7053 the forks, 0000 and 7134 for the axes, 5324 and to set 1861 the goads.
13:22 [cbb5] 所以到了爭戰的日子、跟隨掃羅和約拿單的人、沒有一個手裡有刀有槍的．惟獨掃羅和他兒子約拿單有。
    [kjv] So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was 3117 on the day of 7969 battle 3808 that not 4672 was found 2719 sword 2595 or spear 3027 in the hand of 3605 all 5971 the people 0834 that {were} 0854 with 7586 Saul 0853 and 3126 Jonathan, 4672 but there was found 7586 for Saul 3126 and for Jonathan 1121 his son.
13:23 [cbb5] 非利士人的一隊防兵、到了密抹的隘口。
    [kjv] And the garrison of the Philistines went out to the passage of Michmash.
    [strongs] 3318 And went out 4673 {the} outpost of 6430 the Philistines 0413 to 4569 the Pass of 4366 Michmash.
