18:1 [cbb5] 大衛對掃羅說完了話、約拿單的心、與大衛的心、深相契合．約拿單愛大衛、如同愛自己的性命。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 3615 when he had finished 1696 speaking 0413 to 7586 Saul, 5315 that the soul of 3083 Jonathan 7194 was knitted 5315 with the soul of 1732 David, 0157 and loved him 3083 Jonathan 5315 as his own soul.
18:2 [cbb5] 那日掃羅留住大衛、不容他再回父家。
    [kjv] And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father's house.

    [kjv] And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.

18:5 [cbb5] 掃羅無論差遣大衛往何處去、他都作事精明．掃羅就立他作戰士長、眾百姓和掃羅的臣僕、無不喜悅。
    [kjv] And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul's servants.

18:6 [cbb5] 大衛打死了那非利士人、同眾人回來的時候、婦女們從以色列各城裡出來、歡歡喜喜、打鼓擊磬、歌唱跳舞、迎接掃羅王。
    [kjv] And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 0935 as they came in, 7725 as returned 1732 David 5221 from striking 6430 the Philistine, 3318 that came out 0802 the women 3605 from all 5892 the cities of 3478 Israel 7891 to sing, 4246 and the dancers, 7125 to meet 7586 Saul 4428 the king, 8596 with tabrets, 8057 with joy, 7991 and with three-stringed instruments.
18:7 [cbb5] 眾婦女舞蹈唱和、說、掃羅殺死千千、大衛殺死萬萬。
    [kjv] And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.
    [strongs] 6030 And answered 0802 the women 7832 who were playing 0559 and said, 5221 has struck 7586 Saul 0505 his thousands, 1732 but David 7233 his myraids.
18:8 [cbb5] 掃羅甚發怒、不喜悅這話、就說、將萬萬歸大衛、千千歸我、只剩下王位沒有給他了。
    [kjv] And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?
    [strongs] 2734 And it burned 7586 to Saul 3466 much, 3415 and was evil 5869 in his eyes 1696 thing 0000 this, 0559 and he said, 5414 They have given 1732 to David 7233 myraids, 0000 and to me 5414 they have given 0505 thousands, 5750 {what} more 0000 to him, 0389 except 4410 the kingdom?
18:9 [cbb5] 從這日起、掃羅就怒視大衛。
    [kjv] And Saul eyed David from that day and forward.

18:10 [cbb5] 次日、從　神那裡來的惡魔、大大降在掃羅身上、他就在家中胡言亂語．大衛照常彈琴．掃羅手裡拿著槍。
    [kjv] And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a javelin in Saul's hand.

18:11 [cbb5] 掃羅把槍一掄、心裡說、我要將大衛刺透、釘在牆上。大衛躲避他兩次。
    [kjv] And Saul cast the javelin; for he said, I will smite David even to the wall with it. And David avoided out of his presence twice.
    [strongs] 2904 And threw 7586 Saul 2595 the spear, 0559 and said, 5221 I will strike down 1732 David, 7023 even to the wall. 5437 And withdrew 1732 David 6440 from his presence 6471 twice.
18:12 [cbb5] 掃羅懼怕大衛、因為耶和華離開自己、與大衛同在。
    [kjv] And Saul was afraid of David, because the LORD was with him, and was departed from Saul.
    [strongs] 3372 And was afraid 7586 Saul 6440 from in front of 1732 David, 3588 because 1961 was 3068 Yahweh 0000 with him, 5973 and from 7586 Saul 5493 had departed.
18:13 [cbb5] 所以掃羅使大衛離開自己、立他為千夫長．他就領兵出入。
    [kjv] Therefore Saul removed him from him, and made him his captain over a thousand; and he went out and came in before the people.

18:14 [cbb5] 大衛作事無不精明．耶和華也與他同在。
    [kjv] And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the LORD was with him.
    [strongs] 1961 And was 1732 David 3605 in all 1870 his ways 7919 acting wisely, 3068 and Yahweh {was} 0000 with him.
18:15 [cbb5] 掃羅見大衛作事精明、就甚怕他。
    [kjv] Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was afraid of him.
    [strongs] 7200 And saw 7586 Saul 0834 that 1931 he {was} 7586 acting wisely 3966 very, 1481 and was afraid 6440 of him.
18:16 [cbb5] 但以色列和猶大眾人、都愛大衛．因為他領他們出入。
    [kjv] But all Israel and Judah loved David, because he went out and came in before them.
    [strongs] 3605 And all 3478 Israel 3063 and Judah 0157 loved 1732 David, 3588 for 1931 he 3318 went out 0935 and came in 6440 before them.
18:17 [cbb5] 掃羅對大衛說、我將大女兒米拉給你為妻．只要你為我奮勇、為耶和華爭戰。掃羅心裡說、我不好親手害他、要藉非利士人的手害他。
    [kjv] And Saul said to David, Behold my elder daughter Merab, her will I give thee to wife: only be thou valiant for me, and fight the LORD's battles. For Saul said, Let not mine hand be upon him, but let the hand of the Philistines be upon him.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 7586 Saul 0413 to 1732 David, 2009 Look, 1323 my daughter 2205 elder 4764 Merab! 0853 her 5414 I will give 0000 to you 0802 for a wife. 0389 Only, 1961 you be 0000 for me 1121 a son 2428 brave, 3898 and fight 4421 the battles of 3068 Yahweh. 7586 And Saul 0559 said, 0408 not 1961 Let be 3027 my hand 0000 on him, 1961 but let be 0000 on him 3027 the hand of 6430 the Philistines'.
18:18 [cbb5] 大衛對掃羅說、我是誰、我是甚麼出身、我父家在以色列中是何等的家、豈敢作王的女婿呢。
    [kjv] And David said unto Saul, Who am I? and what is my life, or my father's family in Israel, that I should be son in law to the king?
    [strongs] 0559 And said 1732 David 0413 to 7586 Saul, 4310 Who {am} 0595 I, 4310 and what {is} 2416 my life, 4940 {and} the family of 0001 my father 3478 in Israel, 3588 that 1961 I should be 2860 son-in-law 4428 to the king?
18:19 [cbb5] 掃羅的女兒米拉到了當給大衛的時候、掃羅卻給了米何拉人亞得列為妻。
    [kjv] But it came to pass at the time when Merab Saul's daughter should have been given to David, that she was given unto Adriel the Meholathite to wife.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 6256 at the time 5414 to give 4764 Merab 1323 the daughter 7586 of Saul 1732 to David, 1931 that she 5414 was given 5741 to Adriel 4259 the Meholathite 0802 for a wife.
18:20 [cbb5] 掃羅的次女米甲愛大衛．有人告訴掃羅、掃羅就喜悅。
    [kjv] And Michal Saul's daughter loved David: and they told Saul, and the thing pleased him.
    [strongs] 0157 And loved 4324 Michal 1323 the daughter of 7586 Saul 1732 David. 5046 And they told 7586 Saul, 3474 and was right 1697 the thing 5869 in his eyes.
18:21 [cbb5] 掃羅心裡說、我將這女兒給大衛、作他的網羅、好藉非利士人的手害他。所以掃羅對大衛說、你今日可以第二次作我的女婿。
    [kjv] And Saul said, I will give him her, that she may be a snare to him, and that the hand of the Philistines may be against him. Wherefore Saul said to David, Thou shalt this day be my son in law in the one of the twain.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 7586 Saul, 5414 Let me give her 0000 to him, 1961 that she may be 0000 to him 4170 a snare, 1961 and may be 0000 on him 3027 the hand of 6430 the Philistines. 0559 And said 7586 Saul 0413 to 1732 David 8147 a second time, 2859 you will be son-in-law 0000 my 3117 today.
18:22 [cbb5] 掃羅吩咐臣僕說、你們暗中對大衛說、王喜悅你、王的臣僕也都喜愛你、所以你當作王的女婿。
    [kjv] And Saul commanded his servants, saying, Commune with David secretly, and say, Behold, the king hath delight in thee, and all his servants love thee: now therefore be the king's son in law.
    [strongs] 6680 And commanded 7586 Saul 5650 his servants, 1696 Speak 0413 to 1732 David 3909 secretly, 0559 saying, 2009 Look, 2654 delights 0000 in you 4428 the king, 3605 and all 5650 his servants 0157 love you, 6258 and now, 2851 be son-in-law 4428 to the king.
18:23 [cbb5] 掃羅的臣僕、就照這話說給大衛聽。大衛說、你們以為作王的女婿、是一件小事麼．我是貧窮卑微的人。
    [kjv] And Saul's servants spake those words in the ears of David. And David said, Seemeth it to you a light thing to be a king's son in law, seeing that I am a poor man, and lightly esteemed?
    [strongs] 1696 And spoke 5650 the servants of 7586 Saul 0241 in the ears of 1732 David 1697 words 0428 these. 0559 And said 1732 David, 7043 Is it a light thing 5869 in your eyes 2859 to be son-in-law 4428 to the king? 0595 For I {am} 0376 a man 7326 poor 7034 and lightly esteemed.
18:24 [cbb5] 掃羅的臣僕回奏、說、大衛所說的、如此如此。
    [kjv] And the servants of Saul told him, saying, On this manner spake David.
    [strongs] 5046 And told 5650 servants 7586 Saul's 0000 to him 0559 saying, 1697 According to words 0428 these 1696 has spoken 1732 David.
18:25 [cbb5] 掃羅說、你們要對大衛這樣說、王不要甚麼聘禮、只要一百非利士人的陽皮、好在王的仇敵身上報仇。掃羅的意思要使大衛喪在非利士人的手裡。
    [kjv] And Saul said, Thus shall ye say to David, The king desireth not any dowry, but an hundred foreskins of the Philistines, to be avenged of the king's enemies. But Saul thought to make David fall by the hand of the Philistines.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 7586 Saul, 3541 Thus 0559 you will say 1732 to David, 0369 There is no 2656 delight 4428 in the king 4119 in bride-price, 3588 but 3967 in a hundred 6190 foreskins of 6430 the Philistines, 5358 to be avenged 0341 on the enemies of 4428 the king. 7586 And Saul 2803 thought 5307 to cause to fall 1732 David 3027 by the hand of 6430 the Philistines.
18:26 [cbb5] 掃羅的臣僕將這話告訴大衛、大衛就歡喜作王的女婿。日期還沒有到、
    [kjv] And when his servants told David these words, it pleased David well to be the king's son in law: and the days were not expired.
    [strongs] 5046 And told 5650 his servants 1732 to David 1697 words 0428 these, 3474 and was right 1697 the thing 5869 in the eyes of 1732 David, 2859 to be son-in-law 4428 to the king. 3808 And not 4390 had been fulfilled 3117 the days,
18:27 [cbb5] 大衛和跟隨他的人起身前往、殺了二百非利士人、將陽皮滿數交給王、為要作王的女婿。於是掃羅將女兒米甲給大衛為妻。
    [kjv] Wherefore David arose and went, he and his men, and slew of the Philistines two hundred men; and David brought their foreskins, and they gave them in full tale to the king, that he might be the king's son in law. And Saul gave him Michal his daughter to wife.
    [strongs] 6965 when arose 1732 David 1980 and went, 1931 he 0376 and his men, 5221 and struck 6430 of the Philistines 3967 two hundred 0376 men. 0935 And brought 1732 David 6190 their foreskins, 4390 and he gave them in full 4428 to the king 2859 to be son-in-law 4428 to the king. 5414 And gave 0000 him 7586 Saul 4324 Michal 1323 his daughter 0802 for a wife.
18:28 [cbb5] 掃羅見耶和華與大衛同在、又知道女兒米甲愛大衛．
    [kjv] And Saul saw and knew that the LORD was with David, and that Michal Saul's daughter loved him.
    [strongs] 7200 And saw 7586 Saul 3045 and knew 3588 that 3068 Yahweh {was} 0000 with 1732 David, 4324 and Michal 1323 the daughter of 7586 Saul 0157 loved him.
18:29 [cbb5] 就更怕大衛、常作大衛的仇敵。
    [kjv] And Saul was yet the more afraid of David; and Saul became David's enemy continually.
    [strongs] 3254 And was more 7586 Saul 3372 afraid 6440 of 1732 David 5750 still, 1961 and was 7586 Saul 0340 hating 1732 David 3605 all 3117 the days.
18:30 [cbb5] 每逢非利士軍長出來打仗、大衛比掃羅的臣僕作事精明．因此他的名被人尊重。
    [kjv] Then the princes of the Philistines went forth: and it came to pass, after they went forth, that David behaved himself more wisely than all the servants of Saul; so that his name was much set by.
    [strongs] 3318 And came 8269 the captains of 6430 the Philistines, 1961 and it was 1767 as often as 3318 they came out, 7919 acted wisely 1732 David 3605 more than all 5650 the servants of 7586 Saul, 3365 and was esteemed 8034 his name 3966 greatly.
