25:1 [cbb5] 撒母耳死了．以色列眾人聚集、為他哀哭、將他葬在拉瑪、他自己的墳墓裡。〔墳墓原文作房屋〕大衛起身、下到巴蘭的曠野。
    [kjv] And Samuel died; and all the Israelites were gathered together, and lamented him, and buried him in his house at Ramah. And David arose, and went down to the wilderness of Paran.

    [kjv] Now the name of the man was Nabal; and the name of his wife Abigail: and she was a woman of good understanding, and of a beautiful countenance: but the man was churlish and evil in his doings; and he was of the house of Caleb.

    [kjv] And David heard in the wilderness that Nabal did shear his sheep.

25:5 [cbb5] 大衛就打發十個僕人、吩咐他們、說、你們上迦密去、見拿八、題我的名問他安。
    [kjv] And David sent out ten young men, and David said unto the young men, Get you up to Carmel, and go to Nabal, and greet him in my name:

25:6 [cbb5] 要對那富戶如此說、願你平安、願你家平安、願你一切所有的都平安。
    [kjv] And thus shall ye say to him that liveth in prosperity, Peace be both to thee, and peace be to thine house, and peace be unto all that thou hast.

25:7 [cbb5] 現在我聽說有人為你剪羊毛．你的牧人在迦密的時候、和我們在一處、我們沒有欺負他們、他們也未曾失落甚麼。
    [kjv] And now I have heard that thou hast shearers: now thy shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was there ought missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel.
    [strongs] 6258 And now, 8085 I have heard 3588 that 1494 shearers {are} 0000 to you. 6258 Now 7462 shepherds 0834 which {are} 0000 to you 1961 have been 5973 with us. 3808 not 3637 We have put them to shame, 3808 and not 6485 was missing 0000 to them 3972 anything 3605 all 3117 the days of 1961 their being 3760 in Carmel.
25:8 [cbb5] 可以問你的僕人、他們必告訴你．所以願我的僕人在你眼前蒙恩．因為是在好日子來的．求你隨手取點賜與僕人、和你兒子大衛。
    [kjv] Ask thy young men, and they will shew thee. Wherefore let the young men find favour in thine eyes: for we come in a good day: give, I pray thee, whatsoever cometh to thine hand unto thy servants, and to thy son David.

    [kjv] And when David's young men came, they spake to Nabal according to all those words in the name of David, and ceased.

25:10 [cbb5] 拿八回答大衛的僕人說、大衛是誰．耶西的兒子是誰．近來悖逆主人奔逃的僕人甚多。
    [kjv] And Nabal answered David's servants, and said, Who is David? and who is the son of Jesse? there be many servants now a days that break away every man from his master.
    [strongs] 6030 And answered 5037 Nabal 5650 the servants of 1732 David 0559 and said, 4310 Who {is} 1732 David, 4310 and who {is} 1121 the son of 3448 Jesse? 3117 Today 7231 have multiplied, 5650 the servants 6555 who have broken away 0376 a man 6440 from 0113 their masters.
25:11 [cbb5] 我豈可將飲食、和為我剪羊毛人所宰的肉、給我不知道從那裡來的人呢。
    [kjv] Shall I then take my bread, and my water, and my flesh that I have killed for my shearers, and give it unto men, whom I know not whence they be?
    [strongs] 3947 And will I take 3899 my food, 0853 and 4325 my water, 0853 and 2878 my meat 0834 which 2873 I have slaughtered 1494 for my shearers, 5414 and give 0376 to men 0834 whom 3808 not 3045 I have known, 0000 where 2088 from 1992 they {are}?
25:12 [cbb5] 大衛的僕人就轉身、從原路回去、照這話告訴大衛。
    [kjv] So David's young men turned their way, and went again, and came and told him all those sayings.

25:13 [cbb5] 大衛向跟隨他的人說、你們各人都要帶上刀。眾人就都帶上刀．大衛也帶上刀．跟隨大衛上去的約有四百人．留下二百人看守器具。
    [kjv] And David said unto his men, Gird ye on every man his sword. And they girded on every man his sword; and David also girded on his sword: and there went up after David about four hundred men; and two hundred abode by the stuff.

    [kjv] But one of the young men told Abigail, Nabal's wife, saying, Behold, David sent messengers out of the wilderness to salute our master; and he railed on them.

25:15 [cbb5] 但是那些人待我們甚好．我們在田野與他們來往的時候、沒有受他們的欺負、也未曾失落甚麼。
    [kjv] But the men were very good unto us, and we were not hurt, neither missed we any thing, as long as we were conversant with them, when we were in the fields:

25:17 [cbb5] 所以你當籌畫、看怎樣行纔好．不然、禍患定要臨到我主人、和他全家．他性情兇暴、無人敢與他說話。
    [kjv] Now therefore know and consider what thou wilt do; for evil is determined against our master, and against all his household: for he is such a son of Belial, that a man cannot speak to him.
    [strongs] 6258 And now 3045 know 7200 and see 4100 what 6213 you should do. 3588 For 3665 has been determined 7455 harm 0413 against 0113 our lord, 5921 and upon 3605 all 1004 his household. 1931 And he 1121 a son of 1100 worthlessness, 1696 can speak 0413 to him.
25:18 [cbb5] 亞比該急忙將二百餅、兩皮袋酒、五隻收拾好了的羊、五細亞烘好了的穗子、一百葡萄餅、二百無花果餅、都馱在驢上．
    [kjv] Then Abigail made haste, and took two hundred loaves, and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed, and five measures of parched corn, and an hundred clusters of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on asses.
    [strongs] 4116 And hurried 0026 Abigail 3947 and took 3967 two hundred 3899 loaves, 8147 and two 5035 skins of 3196 wine, 2568 and five 6629 sheep 6213 made ready 2568 and five 5429 measures of 7039 roasted grain, 3967 and a hundred 6778 bunches of raisins, 3967 and two hundred 1690 cakes of figs, 7760 and set {them} 5921 on 2543 the donkeys.
25:19 [cbb5] 對僕人說、你們前頭走、我隨著你們去．這事他卻沒有告訴丈夫拿八。
    [kjv] And she said unto her servants, Go on before me; behold, I come after you. But she told not her husband Nabal.
    [strongs] 0559 And she said 5288 to her young men, 5674 Pass on 6440 in front of me. 2009 Look, I 0310 after you 0935 am coming. 0376 But to her husband 5037 Nabal 3808 not 5046 did she tell.
25:20 [cbb5] 亞比該騎著驢、正下山坡、見大衛和跟隨他的人從對面下來．亞比該就迎接他們。
    [kjv] And it was so, as she rode on the ass, that she came down by the covert on the hill, and, behold, David and his men came down against her; and she met them.

25:21 [cbb5] 大衛曾說、我在曠野為那人看守所有的、以致他一樣不失落、實在是徒然了．他向我以惡報善。
    [kjv] Now David had said, Surely in vain have I kept all that this fellow hath in the wilderness, so that nothing was missed of all that pertained unto him: and he hath requited me evil for good.
    [strongs] 1732 And David 0559 had said, 0637 Surely 8267 for vanity 8104 I have guarded 3605 all 0834 that {is} 2088 to this man 4057 in the desert, 3808 so that not 6485 was missed 3605 of all 0834 that {was} 0000 to him 3972 anything. 7725 And he has returned 0000 to me 7451 bad 8478 for 2896 good.
25:22 [cbb5] 凡屬拿八的男丁、我若留一個到明日早晨、願　神重重降罰與我。
    [kjv] So and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.

25:23 [cbb5] 亞比該見大衛、便急忙下驢、在大衛面前臉伏於地、叩拜．
    [kjv] And when Abigail saw David, she hasted, and lighted off the ass, and fell before David on her face, and bowed herself to the ground,
    [strongs] 7200 And saw 0076 Abigail 1732 David, 4116 and she hurried 3381 and alighted 5921 from on 2543 the donkey, 5307 and fell 6440 in the presence of 1732 David 5921 on 6440 her face, 7812 and bowed herself 0776 to the earth.
25:24 [cbb5] 俯伏在大衛的腳前、說、我主阿、願這罪歸我．求你容婢女向你進言．更求你聽婢女的話。
    [kjv] And fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, upon me let this iniquity be: and let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak in thine audience, and hear the words of thine handmaid.
    [strongs] 5307 And she fell 5921 at 7272 his feet 0559 and said, 0000 On me, 0589 even me, 0113 my lord, 5971 {be} the iniquity. 1696 And let speak 4994 I beg you 0519 your handmaid 0241 in your ears. 8085 And hear 1697 the words of 0519 your handmaid.
25:25 [cbb5] 我主不要理這壞人拿八、他的性情與他的名相稱．他名叫拿八、〔就是愚頑的意思〕他為人果然愚頑．但我主所打發的僕人、婢女並沒有看見。
    [kjv] Let not my lord, I pray thee, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him: but I thine handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom thou didst send.
    [strongs] 0408 not, 4994 I beg you, 7760 do let set 0113 my lord 3820 his heart 0413 toward 0376 man 1100 of worthlessness 0000 this, 5921 on 5037 Nabal, 3588 for 8034 as his name {is}, 3651 so {is} 1931 he. 5037 Nabal {is} 8034 his name, 5837 and foolishness {is} 5973 with him. 0589 And I, 0519 your handmain 3808 not 7200 I did see 5288 the young men of 0113 my lord 0834 whom 7971 you sent.
25:26 [cbb5] 我主阿、耶和華既然阻止你親手報仇、取流血的罪、所以我指著永生的耶和華、又敢在你面前起誓、說、願你的仇敵、和謀害你的人、都像拿八一樣。
    [kjv] Now therefore, my lord, as the LORD liveth, and as thy soul liveth, seeing the LORD hath withholden thee from coming to shed blood, and from avenging thyself with thine own hand, now let thine enemies, and they that seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal.
    [strongs] 6258 And now, 0113 my lord, 2421 {as} lives 3068 Yahweh, 2421 and {as} lives 5315 your soul, 0834 in that 4513 has withheld you 3068 Yahweh 0935 from coming 1818 with blood, 1818 and delivering 3027 your hand 0000 for you. 6258 And now, 1961 let be 5037 as Nabal 0341 your enemies, 1245 even those seeking 0413 to 0113 my lord 7451 harm.
25:27 [cbb5] 如今求你將婢女送來的禮物、給跟隨你的僕人。
    [kjv] And now this blessing which thine handmaid hath brought unto my lord, let it even be given unto the young men that follow my lord.
    [strongs] 6258 And now 1293 blessing 0000 this 0834 which 0935 has brought 8198 your handmaid 0113 to my lord, 5414 then let it be given 5288 to the young men 1980 that go 7272 at the feet of 0113 my lord
25:28 [cbb5] 求你饒恕婢女的罪過．耶和華必為我主建立堅固的家、因我主為耶和華爭戰．並且在你平生的日子、查不出有甚麼過來。
    [kjv] I pray thee, forgive the trespass of thine handmaid: for the LORD will certainly make my lord a sure house; because my lord fighteth the battles of the LORD, and evil hath not been found in thee all thy days.
    [strongs] 5375 bear 4994 please 6588 with the sin of 0519 your handmaid, 3588 for 6213 certainly 6213 will make 3068 Yahweh 0113 for my lord 1004 a house 0539 sure. 3588 For 4421 the battles of 3068 Yahweh 0113 my lord 3898 has fought, 7451 and evil 3808 not 4672 is found 0000 in you 3117 from {all} your days.
25:29 [cbb5] 雖有人起來追逼你、尋索你的性命、你的性命卻在耶和華你的　神那裡蒙保護、如包裹寶器一樣．你仇敵的性命、耶和華必拋去、如用機弦甩石一樣。
    [kjv] Yet a man is risen to pursue thee, and to seek thy soul: but the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with the LORD thy God; and the souls of thine enemies, them shall he sling out, as out of the middle of a sling.
    [strongs] 6965 And {if} rises up 0120 a man 7291 to pursue you 1245 and to seek 5315 your soul, 1961 then will be 5315 the soul of 0113 my lord 6887 bound up 6872 in the bundle of 2416 life 0000 with 3068 Yahweh 0430 your God. 0853 And 5315 the souls of 0341 your enemies - 7049 He will sling them 8432 from 3709 the hollow of 7050 the sling.
25:30 [cbb5] 我主現在若不親手報仇、流無辜人的血、到了耶和華照所應許你的話賜福與你、立你作以色列的王、那時我主必不至心裡不安、覺得良心有虧。耶和華賜福與我主的時候、求你記念婢女。
    [kjv] And it shall come to pass, when the LORD shall have done to my lord according to all the good that he hath spoken concerning thee, and shall have appointed thee ruler over Israel;

    [kjv] That this shall be no grief unto thee, nor offence of heart unto my lord, either that thou hast shed blood causeless, or that my lord hath avenged himself: but when the LORD shall have dealt well with my lord, then remember thine handmaid.

25:32 [cbb5] 大衛對亞比該說、耶和華以色列的　神、是應當稱頌的、因為他今日使你來迎接我．
    [kjv] And David said to Abigail, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which sent thee this day to meet me:
    [strongs] 0559 And said 1732 David 0026 to Abigail, 1288 Blessed be 3068 Yahweh 0430 the God of 3478 Israel, 0834 who 7971 has sent you 3117 day 0000 this 7125 to meet me.
25:33 [cbb5] 你和你的見識也當稱讚、因為你今日攔阻我親手報仇、流人的血。
    [kjv] And blessed be thy advice, and blessed be thou, which hast kept me this day from coming to shed blood, and from avenging myself with mine own hand.
    [strongs] 1288 And blessed be 2940 your discernment. 1288 And blessed be 0859 you, 0834 in that 3607 you have kept me 3117 day 0000 this 0935 from coming 1818 with blood, 3467 and delivering 3027 my hand 0000 myself.
25:34 [cbb5] 我指著阻止我加害於你的耶和華以色列永生的　神起誓、你若不速速的來迎接我、到明日早晨、凡屬拿八的男丁、必定不留一個。
    [kjv] For in very deed, as the LORD God of Israel liveth, which hath kept me back from hurting thee, except thou hadst hasted and come to meet me, surely there had not been left unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.
    [strongs] 0199 And indeed 2421 {as} lives 3068 Yahweh, 0430 the God of 3478 Israel, 0834 who 4513 has kept me back 7489 from doing harm 0853 to you - 3588 for 3884 unless 4116 you had hurried 0935 and had come 7125 to meet me. 3588 Surely 0518 not 3498 would have been left 5037 to Nabal 5704 until 0216 the light of 1241 the morning 8366 one who who urinates 7023 against a wall.
25:35 [cbb5] 大衛受了亞比該送來的禮物．就對他說、我聽了你的話、准了你的情面．你可以平平安安的回家罷。
    [kjv] So David received of her hand that which she had brought him, and said unto her, Go up in peace to thine house; see, I have hearkened to thy voice, and have accepted thy person.
    [strongs] 3947 And took 1732 David 3027 from her hand 0834 what 0935 she had brought 0000 to him. 0000 And to her 0559 he said, 5927 Go up 7965 in peace 1004 to your house. 7200 See, 8085 I have listened 6963 to your voice, 5375 and have accepted 6440 your face.
25:36 [cbb5] 亞比該到拿八那裡、見他在家裡設擺筵席、如同王的筵席．拿八快樂大醉．亞比該無論大小事、都沒有告訴他、就等到次日早晨。
    [kjv] And Abigail came to Nabal; and, behold, he held a feast in his house, like the feast of a king; and Nabal's heart was merry within him, for he was very drunken: wherefore she told him nothing, less or more, until the morning light.
    [strongs] 0935 And came 0026 Abigail 0413 to 5037 Nabal. 2009 And, behold, 0000 to him 4960 a feast 1004 in his house 4960 like the feast of 4428 the king. 3820 And heart 5037 Nabal's 2896 {was} good 5221 within him, 1931 and he 7910 drunk 5704 to 3966 excess. 3808 And not 5046 she did tell 0000 to him 1697 a word 6996 less 0490 or more 5704 until 0216 the light of 1242 the morning.
25:37 [cbb5] 到了早晨、拿八醒了酒、他的妻將這些事都告訴他、他就魂不附體、身僵如石頭一般。
    [kjv] But it came to pass in the morning, when the wine was gone out of Nabal, and his wife had told him these things, that his heart died within him, and he became as a stone.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 1242 in the morning, 3318 when had gone out 3196 the wine 5037 from Nabal 5046 that told 0000 to him 0802 his wife 1697 things 0428 these. 4191 And died 3820 his heart 7130 within him, 1931 and he 1961 became 0068 a stone.
25:38 [cbb5] 過了十天、耶和華擊打拿八、他就死了。
    [kjv] And it came to pass about ten days after, that the LORD smote Nabal, that he died.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was 6235 about ten 3117 days 5061 that struck down 3068 Yahweh 5037 Nabal, 4191 and he died.
25:39 [cbb5] 大衛聽見拿八死了、就說、應當稱頌耶和華、因他伸了拿八羞辱我的冤、又阻止僕人行惡．也使拿八的惡歸到拿八的頭上。於是大衛打發人去、與亞比該說、要娶他為妻。
    [kjv] And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be the LORD, that hath pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and hath kept his servant from evil: for the LORD hath returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David sent and communed with Abigail, to take her to him to wife.
    [strongs] 8085 And heard 1732 David 3588 that 4191 was dead 5037 Nabal, 0559 and said, 1288 Blessed be 3068 Yahweh, 0834 who 7378 has contended {for} 7379 the cause 2781 my reproach of 3027 from the hand of 5037 Nabal, 0853 and 5650 His servant 2820 has kept back 7451 from harm. 0853 And 7451 the evildoing of 5037 Nabal 7725 has made return 3068 Yahweh 7218 on his head. 7971 And sent 1732 David 1696 and spoke 0026 with Abigail 3947 to take her 0000 to himself 0802 for a wife.
25:40 [cbb5] 大衛的僕人到了迦密見亞比該、對他說、大衛打發我們來見你、想要娶你為妻。
    [kjv] And when the servants of David were come to Abigail to Carmel, they spake unto her, saying, David sent us unto thee, to take thee to him to wife.
