13:1 [cbb5] 耶羅波安王十八年．亞比雅登基、作猶大王。
    [kjv] Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam began Abijah to reign over Judah.
    [strongs] 8141 In the year 8083 eigh- 6240 teen 4428 of King 3379 Jeroboam, 4427 began to rule 0029 Abijah 5921 over 3063 Judah.
13:2 [cbb5] 在耶路撒冷作王三年．他母親名叫米該亞、〔米該亞又作瑪迦〕是基比亞人烏列的女兒。亞比雅常與耶羅波安爭戰。
    [kjv] He reigned three years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Michaiah the daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. And there was war between Abijah and Jeroboam.

13:3 [cbb5] 有一次亞比雅率領挑選的兵四十萬擺陣、都是勇敢的戰士．耶羅波安也挑選大能的勇士八十萬、對亞比雅擺陣。
    [kjv] And Abijah set the battle in array with an army of valiant men of war, even four hundred thousand chosen men: Jeroboam also set the battle in array against him with eight hundred thousand chosen men, being mighty men of valour.

    [kjv] And Abijah stood up upon mount Zemaraim, which is in mount Ephraim, and said, Hear me, thou Jeroboam, and all Israel;

13:5 [cbb5] 耶和華以色列的　神曾立鹽約、〔鹽即是不廢壞的意思〕將以色列國永遠賜給大衛和他的子孫、你們不知道麼。
    [kjv] Ought ye not to know that the LORD God of Israel gave the kingdom over Israel to David for ever, even to him and to his sons by a covenant of salt?
    [strongs] 3808 not 0000 you 3045 Do know 3068 that Yahweh 0430 the God of 3478 Israel 5414 has given 4467 the kingdom 1732 to David 5921 over 3478 Israel 5769 forever, 0000 to him 1121 and to his sons, 1285 a covenant of 4417 salt?
13:6 [cbb5] 無奈大衛兒子所羅門的臣僕、尼八兒子耶羅波安、起來背叛他的主人。
    [kjv] Yet Jeroboam the son of Nebat, the servant of Solomon the son of David, is risen up, and hath rebelled against his lord.

13:7 [cbb5] 有些無賴的匪徒聚集跟從他、逞強攻擊所羅門的兒子羅波安、那時羅波安還幼弱、不能抵擋他們。
    [kjv] And there are gathered unto him vain men, the children of Belial, and have strengthened themselves against Rehoboam the son of Solomon, when Rehoboam was young and tenderhearted, and could not withstand them.

13:8 [cbb5] 現在你們有意抗拒大衛子孫手下所治耶和華的國．你們的人也甚多、你們那裡又有耶羅波安為你們所造當作神的金牛犢。
    [kjv] And now ye think to withstand the kingdom of the LORD in the hand of the sons of David; and ye be a great multitude, and there are with your golden calves, which Jeroboam made you for gods.

13:9 [cbb5] 你們不是驅逐耶和華的祭司亞倫的後裔、和利未人麼．不是照著外邦人的惡俗為自己立祭司麼．無論何人牽一隻公牛犢、七隻公綿羊、將自己分別出來、就可作虛無之神的祭司。
    [kjv] Have ye not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons of Aaron, and the Levites, and have made you priests after the manner of the nations of other lands? so that whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of them that are no gods.

13:10 [cbb5] 至於我們、耶和華是我們的　神、我們並沒有離棄他．我們有事奉耶和華的祭司、都是亞倫的後裔、並有利未人各盡其職。
    [kjv] But as for us, the LORD is our God, and we have not forsaken him; and the priests, which minister unto the LORD, are the sons of Aaron, and the Levites wait upon their business:

13:11 [cbb5] 每日早晚向耶和華獻燔祭、燒美香、又在精金的桌子上擺陳設餅．又有金燈臺和燈盞、每晚點起、因為我們遵守耶和華我們　神的命．惟有你們離棄了他。
    [kjv] And they burn unto the LORD every morning and every evening burnt sacrifices and sweet incense: the shewbread also set they in order upon the pure table; and the candlestick of gold with the lamps thereof, to burn every evening: for we keep the charge of the LORD our God; but ye have forsaken him.

13:12 [cbb5] 率領我們的是　神、我們這裡也有　神的祭司、拿號向你們吹出大聲。以色列人哪、不要與耶和華你們列祖的　神爭戰．因你們必不能亨通。
    [kjv] And, behold, God himself is with us for our captain, and his priests with sounding trumpets to cry alarm against you. O children of Israel, fight ye not against the LORD God of your fathers; for ye shall not prosper.

13:13 [cbb5] 耶羅波安卻在猶大人的後頭設伏兵．這樣、以色列人在猶大人的前頭、伏兵在猶大人的後頭。
    [kjv] But Jeroboam caused an ambushment to come about behind them: so they were before Judah, and the ambushment was behind them.
    [strongs] 3379 But Jeroboam 5439 had made circle 3993 the ambush 0935 to come 0310 from behind them, 1961 and they were 6440 before 3063 Judah, 3993 and the ambush 0310 {was} behind them.
13:14 [cbb5] 猶大人回頭觀看、見前後都有敵兵．就呼求耶和華、祭司也吹號。
    [kjv] And when Judah looked back, behold, the battle was before and behind: and they cried unto the LORD, and the priests sounded with the trumpets.

13:15 [cbb5] 於是猶大人吶喊．猶大人吶喊的時候、　神就使耶羅波安和以色列眾人、敗在亞比雅與猶大人面前。
    [kjv] Then the men of Judah gave a shout: and as the men of Judah shouted, it came to pass, that God smote Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.
    [strongs] 7321 Then shouted 0376 the men of 3063 Judah. 1961 And it was, 7321 at the shouting of 0376 the men of 3063 Judah, 0430 that God 5221 struck 3379 Jeroboam 3605 and all 3478 Israel 6440 before 0029 Abijah 3063 and Judah.
13:16 [cbb5] 以色列人在猶大人面前逃跑．　神將他們交在猶大人手裡．
    [kjv] And the children of Israel fled before Judah: and God delivered them into their hand.

13:17 [cbb5] 亞比雅和他的軍兵大大殺戮以色列人．以色列人仆倒死亡的精兵有五十萬。
    [kjv] And Abijah and his people slew them with a great slaughter: so there fell down slain of Israel five hundred thousand chosen men.
    [strongs] 5221 And struck 0000 them 0029 Abijah 5971 and his people 4347 a blow 1419 great, 5307 and fell 2491 slain 3478 of Israel 2568 five 3963 hundred 0505 thousand 0376 men 0977 chosen.
13:18 [cbb5] 那時、以色列人被制伏了、猶大人得勝、是因倚靠耶和華他們列祖的　神。
    [kjv] Thus the children of Israel were brought under at that time, and the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied upon the LORD God of their fathers.
    [strongs] 3665 And were humbled 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 6256 at time 0000 that, 0553 and were strong 1121 the sons of 3063 Judah, 3588 for 8172 they depended 3068 on Yahweh 0430 the God of 0001 their forefathers.
13:19 [cbb5] 亞比雅追趕耶羅波安、攻取了他的幾座城、就是伯特利和屬伯特利的鎮市、耶沙拿和屬耶沙拿的鎮市、以法拉音〔或作以弗倫〕和屬以法拉音的鎮市。
    [kjv] And Abijah pursued after Jeroboam, and took cities from him, Bethel with the towns thereof, and Jeshanah with the towns thereof, and Ephraim with the towns thereof.
    [strongs] 7291 And pursued 0029 Abijah 0310 after 3379 Jeroboam 3920 and captured 0000 from him 5892 cities, 1008 Bethel 0000 and 2691 its villages, 0000 and 3466 Jeshanah 0000 and 2691 its villages, 0000 and 6085 Ephrain 2691 and its villages.
13:20 [cbb5] 亞比雅在世的時候、耶羅波安不能再強盛．耶和華攻擊他、他就死了。
    [kjv] Neither did Jeroboam recover strength again in the days of Abijah: and the LORD struck him, and he died.
    [strongs] 3808 And not 6033 retain 3581 power 3379 Jeroboam 5750 any more 3117 in the days of 0029 Abijah, 5227 and struck him 3068 Yahweh 4191 and he died.
13:21 [cbb5] 亞比雅卻漸漸強盛、娶妻妾十四個、生了二十二個兒子、十六個女兒。
    [kjv] But Abijah waxed mighty, and married fourteen wives, and begat twenty and two sons, and sixteen daughters.
    [strongs] 2388 And became strong 0029 Abijah, 3947 and took 0000 to himself 0082 wives 0702 four- 6240 teen, 3205 and fathered 6242 twenty- 8147 and two 1121 sons 8337 and six- 6240 teen 1323 daughters.
13:22 [cbb5] 亞比雅其餘的事、和他的言行、都寫在先知易多的傳上。
    [kjv] And the rest of the acts of Abijah, and his ways, and his sayings, are written in the story of the prophet Iddo.
