16:1 [cbb5] 亞撒三十六年、以色列王巴沙上來攻擊猶大、修築拉瑪不許人從猶大王亞撒那裡出入。
    [kjv] In the six and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa Baasha king of Israel came up against Judah, and built Ramah, to the intent that he might let none go out or come in to Asa king of Judah.
    [strongs] 8141 In the year 7970 thirty 8345 and sixth 4438 of the rule of 0609 Asa 5927 came up 1201 Baasha 4428 the king of 3478 Israel 0413 against 3063 Judah, 1129 and built 7414 Ramah, 1115 so as not 5414 to allow 3318 any going 0935 or coming 0609 to Asa 4428 the king of 3063 Judah.
16:2 [cbb5] 於是亞撒從耶和華殿和王宮的府庫裡、拿出金銀來、送與住大馬色的亞蘭王便哈達、說、
    [kjv] Then Asa brought out silver and gold out of the treasures of the house of the LORD and of the king's house, and sent to Benhadad king of Syria, that dwelt at Damascus, saying,
    [strongs] 3318 And brought out 0609 Asa 3701 silver 2091 and gold 0214 from the treasures of 1004 the house of 3068 Yahweh 1004 and the house 4428 king's, 7971 and sent 1130 to Ben-Hadad 4428 the king of 0758 Aram, 3427 who lived 1834 in Damascus, 0559 saying,
16:3 [cbb5] 你父曾與我父立約、我與你也要立約．現在我將金銀送給你．求你廢掉你與以色列王巴沙所立的約、使他離開我。
    [kjv] There is a league between me and thee, as there was between my father and thy father: behold, I have sent thee silver and gold; go, break thy league with Baasha king of Israel, that he may depart from me.
    [strongs] 1285 A covenant 0996 between me 0000 and you 0000 and 0001 my father 0000 and 0001 your father. 2009 Look, 7971 I have sent 0000 you 3701 silver 2091 and gold. 1980 Go, 6565 break 1285 your covenant 0000 with 1201 Baasha 4428 the king of 3478 Israel 5927 that he may go 0000 from me.
16:4 [cbb5] 便哈達聽從亞撒王的話、派軍長去攻擊以色列的城邑．他們就攻破以雲、但、亞伯瑪音、和拿弗他利一切的積貨城。
    [kjv] And Benhadad hearkened unto king Asa, and sent the captains of his armies against the cities of Israel; and they smote Ijon, and Dan, and Abelmaim, and all the store cities of Naphtali.
    [strongs] 8085 And listened 1130 Ben-Hadad 0413 to 4428 King 0609 Asa 7971 and sent 8269 the commanders of 2428 the armies 0834 that {were} 0000 to him 5892 to cities of 3478 Israel. 5221 And they struck 5859 Ijon, 1838 and Dan, 0000 and 0066 Abelmaim, 0000 and 3605 all 4543 the storage 5892 cities of 5321 Naphtali.
16:5 [cbb5] 巴沙聽見就停工、不修築拉瑪了。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, when Baasha heard it, that he left off building of Ramah, and let his work cease.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 8085 when heard 1201 Baasha, 2308 that he ceased 1129 from building 7414 Ramah 7673 and made stop 4399 his work.
16:6 [cbb5] 於是亞撒王率領猶大眾人、將巴沙修築拉瑪所用的石頭、木頭、都運去、用以修築迦巴和米斯巴。
    [kjv] Then Asa the king took all Judah; and they carried away the stones of Ramah, and the timber thereof, wherewith Baasha was building; and he built therewith Geba and Mizpah.
    [strongs] 0609 And Asa 4428 the king 3947 took 3605 all 3063 Judah, 5375 and they carried away 0068 the stones of 7414 Ramah, 0000 and 6086 its wood, 0000 {with} which 1129 had been building 1201 Baasha, 1129 and he built 0000 with them 1387 Geba 4709 and Mizpah.
16:7 [cbb5] 那時、先見哈拿尼來見猶大王亞撒、對他說、因你仰賴亞蘭王、沒有仰賴耶和華你的　神、所以亞蘭王的軍兵脫離了你的手。
    [kjv] And at that time Hanani the seer came to Asa king of Judah, and said unto him, Because thou hast relied on the king of Syria, and not relied on the LORD thy God, therefore is the host of the king of Syria escaped out of thine hand.
    [strongs] 6256 And at time 1931 that 0935 came 2607 Hanani 7200 the seer 0413 to 0609 Asa 4428 king of 3063 Judah 0559 and said 0000 to him, 8172 Because you leaned 5921 on 4428 the king of 0758 Aram 3808 and not 8172 you have leaned 5921 on 3068 Yahweh 0430 your God, 5921 there- 3651 fore 4422 has escaped 2428 the army of 4428 the king of 0758 Aram 3027 from your hand.
16:8 [cbb5] 古實人路比人的軍隊不是甚大麼、戰車馬兵不是極多麼．只因你仰賴耶和華、他便將他們交在你手裡。
    [kjv] Were not the Ethiopians and the Lubims a huge host, with very many chariots and horsemen? yet, because thou didst rely on the LORD, he delivered them into thine hand.
    [strongs] 3808 not 3569 the Ethiopians 3864 and the Lubim 1961 Were 2428 an army 7230 for multitude, 7393 for chariots 6571 and for horsemen 7235 great 3966 very? 8172 And when you leaned 5921 on 3068 Yahweh 5414 He gave them 3027 into your hand.
16:9 [cbb5] 耶和華的眼目遍察全地、要顯大能幫助向他心存誠實的人。你這事行得愚昧．此後、你必有爭戰的事。
    [kjv] For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
    [strongs] 3588 For 3068 Yahweh, 5869 His eyes 7751 roam around 3605 in all 0776 the earth 2388 to fortify those 0000 with 3820 their heart 8003 perfect 0413 towards Him. 5528 You acted foolishly 6256 in 0000 this. 0000 So 6258 from now on 1961 there will be 0000 with you 4421 wars.
16:10 [cbb5] 亞撒因此惱恨先見、將他囚在監裡。那時亞撒也虐待一些人民。
    [kjv] Then Asa was wroth with the seer, and put him in a prison house; for he was in a rage with him because of this thing. And Asa oppressed some of the people the same time.
    [strongs] 3707 Then was angry 0609 Asa 0000 with 7200 the seer, 5414 and gave him up 1004 {to} the house of 4115 the stocks, 2197 for {he was} in a rage 5973 with him 5921 over 2008 this. 7533 And oppressed 0609 Asa 4480 some of 5971 the people 6256 at time 1931 that.
16:11 [cbb5] 亞撒所行的事、自始至終、都寫在猶大和以色列諸王記上。
    [kjv] And, behold, the acts of Asa, first and last, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
    [strongs] 2009 And look, 1697 the acts of 0609 Asa, 0259 the first 0314 and the last, 2005 look, they 3789 are written 6256 in 5612 the book of 4428 the kings 3063 of Judah 3478 and Israel.
16:12 [cbb5] 亞撒作王三十九年、他腳上有病、而且甚重．病的時候沒有求耶和華、只求醫生。
    [kjv] And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians.
    [strongs] 2470 And was diseased 0609 Asa 8141 in the year 7970 thirty- 8672 and ninth 4438 of his rule, 7272 in his feet, 5704 until 2389 {was} severe 2483 his disease. 1571 Yet even 2483 in his disease, 3808 not 1875 he did seek 3068 Yahweh 0000 but 7495 among the healers.
16:13 [cbb5] 他作王四十一年而死、與他列祖同睡、
    [kjv] And Asa slept with his fathers, and died in the one and fortieth year of his reign.
    [strongs] 7901 And lay 0609 Asa 5973 with 0001 his forefathers, 4191 and died 8141 in the year 0705 forty 7223 and first 4427 of his rule.
16:14 [cbb5] 葬在大衛城自己所鑿的墳墓裡、放在床上、其床堆滿各樣馨香的香料、就是按作香的作法調和的香料．又為他燒了許多的物件。
    [kjv] And they buried him in his own sepulchres, which he had made for himself in the city of David, and laid him in the bed which was filled with sweet odours and divers kinds of spices prepared by the apothecaries' art: and they made a very great burning for him.
    [strongs] 6912 And they buried him 6900 in his grave 0834 which 3738 he had dug 0000 for himself 5892 in the city of 1732 David, 7896 and laid him 4904 in the bed 0834 which 4390 he had filled 1314 {with} perfumes, 2177 and kinds of 4842 aramatic plants 4842 with a mixture of ointments 4639 {by} art. 8313 And they burned 0000 for him 8316 a burning 1419 great 1571 even 3966 very.
