24:1 [cbb5] 約阿施登基的時候年七歲、在耶路撒冷作王四十年．他母親名叫西比亞、是別是巴人。
    [kjv] Joash was seven years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Zibiah of Beersheba.
    [strongs] 1121 A son of 7651 seven 8141 years 3101 Joash 4428 when he became king, 0705 and forty 8141 years 4427 he ruled 3389 in Jerusalem. 8034 And name 0517 his mother's 6645 {was} Zibiah of 0884 Beer-sheba.
24:2 [cbb5] 祭司耶何耶大在世的時候、約阿施行耶和華眼中看為正的事。
    [kjv] And Joash did that which was right in the sight of the LORD all the days of Jehoiada the priest.
    [strongs] 6213 And did 3101 Joash 2477 the right 5869 in the eyes of 3068 Yahweh 3605 all 3117 the days of 3077 Jehoiada 3548 the priest.
24:3 [cbb5] 耶何耶大為他娶了兩個妻、並且生兒養女。
    [kjv] And Jehoiada took for him two wives; and he begat sons and daughters.
    [strongs] 3947 And took 0000 for him 3077 Jehoiada 8020 wives 8147 two, 3205 and he fathered 1121 sons 1323 and daughters.
24:4 [cbb5] 此後、約阿施有意重修耶和華的殿、
    [kjv] And it came to pass after this, that Joash was minded to repair the house of the LORD.
    [strongs] 1961 And was, it 0310 after 0000 this 1961 it had been 0000 with 3820 the heart of 3101 Joash 2318 to renew 1004 the house of 3068 Yahweh.
24:5 [cbb5] 便召聚眾祭司和利未人、吩咐他們說、你們要往猶大各城去、使以色列眾人捐納銀子、每年可以修理你們　神的殿．你們要急速辦理這事。只是利未人不急速辦理。
    [kjv] And he gathered together the priests and the Levites, and said to them, Go out unto the cities of Judah, and gather of all Israel money to repair the house of your God from year to year, and see that ye hasten the matter. Howbeit the Levites hastened it not.
    [strongs] 6908 And he gathered 3548 the priests 3881 and the Levites 0559 and said 0000 to them, 3318 Go out 5892 to the cities of 3063 Judah, 6908 and gather 3605 from all 3478 Israel 0370 money 2388 to strengthen 1004 the house of 0430 your God 1767 as by need 8141 year 8141 by year, 0000 and you 4116 will do quickly 1697 the matter. 3808 But not 4116 did act quickly 3881 the Levites.
24:6 [cbb5] 王召了大祭司耶何耶大來、對他說、從前耶和華的僕人摩西、為法櫃的帳幕、與以色列會眾所定的捐項、你為何不叫利未人、照這例從猶大和耶路撒冷帶來、作殿的費用呢。
    [kjv] And the king called for Jehoiada the chief, and said unto him, Why hast thou not required of the Levites to bring in out of Judah and out of Jerusalem the collection, according to the commandment of Moses the servant of the LORD, and of the congregation of Israel, for the tabernacle of witness?
    [strongs] 7121 And called 4428 the king 3077 for Jehoiada 7218 the chief, 0559 and said 0000 to him, 4100 Why 3808 not 1875 have you required 3881 the Levites 0935 to bring in 3063 out of Judah 3389 and out of Jerusalem 2133 the offering of 4872 Moses, 5288 the servant of 3068 Yahweh 6951 and of the assembly of 3478 Israel, 0168 for the tent of 5715 the testimony?
24:7 [cbb5] 因為那惡婦亞他利雅的眾子曾拆毀　神的殿．又用耶和華殿中分別為聖的物供奉巴力。
    [kjv] For the sons of Athaliah, that wicked woman, had broken up the house of God; and also all the dedicated things of the house of the LORD did they bestow upon Baalim.
    [strongs] 3588 For 6371 Athaliah, 4849 the wicked one, 1121 her sons 6555 have broken into 1004 the house of 0430 God, 1571 and also 3605 all 6944 the holy things of 1004 the house of 3068 Yahweh 6213 they have used 1168 for the Baals.
24:8 [cbb5] 於是王下令、眾人作了一櫃、放在耶和華殿的門外。
    [kjv] And at the king's commandment they made a chest, and set it without at the gate of the house of the LORD.
    [strongs] 6680 And commanded 4428 the king, 6213 and they made 0727 chest 0259 one 7896 and put it 8179 at the gate of 1004 the house of 3068 Yahweh 2351 outside.
24:9 [cbb5] 又通告猶大和耶路撒冷的百姓、要將　神僕人摩西、在曠野所吩咐以色列人的捐項給耶和華送來。
    [kjv] And they made a proclamation through Judah and Jerusalem, to bring in to the LORD the collection that Moses the servant of God laid upon Israel in the wilderness.
    [strongs] 5414 And they made 6963 a call 3063 in Judah 3389 and in Jerusalem 0935 to bring in 3068 to Yahweh 2133 the offering of 4872 Moses, 5288 the servant of 0430 God, 5921 {laid} on 3478 Israel 4057 in the desert.
24:10 [cbb5] 眾首領和百姓都歡歡喜喜地將銀子送來、投入櫃中、直到捐完。
    [kjv] And all the princes and all the people rejoiced, and brought in, and cast into the chest, until they had made an end.
    [strongs] 8056 And rejoiced 3605 all 6520 the leaders 3605 and all 5971 the people, 0935 and they brought in 7993 and threw 0727 into the chest, 5704 until 3615 {it was} finished.
24:11 [cbb5] 利未人見銀子多了、就把櫃抬到王所派的司事面前、王的書記和大祭司的屬員來、將櫃倒空、仍放在原處、日日都是這樣．積蓄的銀子甚多。
    [kjv] Now it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought unto the king's office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king's scribe and the high priest's officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 6256 at the time 0935 one brought in 0727 the chest 0000 to 6486 overseer 4428 the king's 3027 by the hand of 3881 the Levites, 7200 and when they saw 7230 {was} much 3701 the silver, 0935 that came 5608 scribe 4428 the king's 6496 and an officer of 3548 the priest 7218 chief, 6168 and they emptied 0727 the chest 5375 and took it up 7725 and returned it 0000 to 4725 its place. 3541 So 6213 they did 3117 day 3117 by day, 0622 and gathered 3701 silver 7230 much.
24:12 [cbb5] 王與耶何耶大將銀子交給耶和華殿裡辦事的人．他們就雇了石匠、木匠、重修耶和華的殿．又雇了鐵匠、銅匠、修理耶和華的殿。
    [kjv] And the king and Jehoiada gave it to such as did the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and hired masons and carpenters to repair the house of the LORD, and also such as wrought iron and brass to mend the house of the LORD.
    [strongs] 5414 And gave it 4428 the king 3077 and Jehoiada 0000 to 6213 those who did 4399 the work of 5656 the service of 1004 the house of 3068 Yahweh. 1961 And they 7936 hired 2672 stonecutters 2796 and carpenters 7725 to restore 1004 the house of 3068 Yahweh, 1571 and also 2796 skilled workers 1270 in iron 5178 and bronze 2388 to strengthen 1004 the house of 3068 Yahweh.
24:13 [cbb5] 工人操作、漸漸修成、將　神殿修造的、與從前一樣、而且甚是堅固。
    [kjv] So the workmen wrought, and the work was perfected by them, and they set the house of God in his state, and strengthened it.
    [strongs] 6213 And worked 6213 the work 4399 workmen, 1980 and progressed 0724 the repair 4399 work 3027 in their hand. 5975 And they set up 1004 the house of 0430 God 5921 by 4971 its proportion 0553 and made it strong.
24:14 [cbb5] 工程完了、他們就把其餘的銀子、拿到王與耶何耶大面前、用以製造耶和華殿供奉所用的器皿、和調羹、並金銀的器皿。耶何耶大在世的時侯、眾人常在耶和華殿裡獻燔祭。
    [kjv] And when they had finished it, they brought the rest of the money before the king and Jehoiada, whereof were made vessels for the house of the LORD, even vessels to minister, and to offer withal, and spoons, and vessels of gold and silver. And they offered burnt offerings in the house of the LORD continually all the days of Jehoiada.
    [strongs] 3615 And when they had finished, 5927 they brought 6440 before 4428 the king 3077 and Jehoiada 3499 the rest of 3701 the money, 6213 and they made of it 3627 utensils 1004 for the house of 3068 Yahweh, 3627 utensils of 5656 service, 5927 and of offering, 3709 and bowls, 3627 and utensils of 2091 gold 3701 and silver. 1961 And they 5927 offered 5930 burnt-offerings 1004 in the house of 3068 Yahweh 8548 continually 3605 all 3117 the days of 3077 Jehoiada.
24:15 [cbb5] 耶何耶大年紀老邁、日子滿足而死．死的時候、年一百三十歲．
    [kjv] But Jehoiada waxed old, and was full of days when he died; an hundred and thirty years old was he when he died.
    [strongs] 1121 And was old 3077 Jehoiada 7649 and satisfied with 3117 days, 4191 and died. 1121 A son of 3967 a hundred 7970 and thirty 8141 years 4194 at his death.
24:16 [cbb5] 葬在大衛城列王的墳墓裡．因為他在以色列人中行善、又事奉　神、修理　神的殿。
    [kjv] And they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, both toward God, and toward his house.
    [strongs] 6912 And they buried him 5892 in the city of 1732 David 0000 with 4428 the kings, 6213 for he had done 2896 good 3478 in Israel, 0000 and with 0430 God, 1004 and His house.
24:17 [cbb5] 耶何耶大死後、猶大的眾首領來朝拜王．王就聽從他們。
    [kjv] Now after the death of Jehoiada came the princes of Judah, and made obeisance to the king. Then the king hearkened unto them.
    [strongs] 0310 And after 4194 the death of 3077 Jehoiada, 0935 came in 0352 the leaders of 3063 Judah 7812 and bowed themselves 4428 to the king. 0227 Then 8085 listened 4428 the king 0000 to them.
24:18 [cbb5] 他們離棄耶和華他們列祖　神的殿、去事奉亞舍拉和偶像．因他們這罪、就有忿怒臨到猶大和耶路撒冷。
    [kjv] And they left the house of the LORD God of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass.
    [strongs] 5800 And they abandoned 1004 the house of 3068 Yahweh 0430 the God of 0001 their forefathers, 5647 and served 0842 the Asherah poles 0000 and 1544 the idols. 1961 And was 7110 wrath 5921 upon 3063 Judah 3389 and Jerusalem 0819 because of their guilt 0000 this.
24:19 [cbb5] 但　神仍遣先知到他們那裡、引導他們歸向耶和華．這先知警戒他們、他們卻不肯聽。
    [kjv] Yet he sent prophets to them, to bring them again unto the LORD; and they testified against them: but they would not give ear.
    [strongs] 7971 And He sent 0000 among them 5030 prophets 7725 to bring them back 3068 to Yahweh. 5749 And they testified 0000 against them, 3808 but not 8085 they did listen.
24:20 [cbb5] 那時　神的靈感動祭司耶何耶大的兒子撒迦利亞．他就站在上面對民說、　神如此說、你們為何干犯耶和華的誡命、以致不得亨通呢．因為你們離棄耶和華、所以他也離棄你們。
    [kjv] And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress ye the commandments of the LORD, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken the LORD, he hath also forsaken you.
    [strongs] 7307 And the Spirit of 0430 God 3847 clothed 2148 Zechariah 1121 the son of 3077 Jehoiada 3548 the priest, 5975 and he stood 6440 before 5971 the people 0559 and said 0000 to them, 3541 Thus 0559 says 0430 God, 4100 Why 0859 do you 5674 transgress 4687 the commands of 3068 Yahweh, 3808 and not 6743 do prosper? 0000 Because 5800 you have abandoned 3068 Yahweh, 5800 He will abandon 0000 you.
24:21 [cbb5] 眾民同心謀害撒迦利亞、就照王的吩咐、在耶和華殿的院內、用石頭打死他。
    [kjv] And they conspired against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of the LORD.
    [strongs] 7194 And they conspired 0000 against him, 5619 and stoned him 0068 {with} stones 4687 by command 4428 the king's 2691 in the court of 1004 the house of 3068 Yahweh.
24:22 [cbb5] 這樣、約阿施王不想念撒迦利亞的父親耶何耶大向自己所施的恩、殺了他的兒子。撒迦利亞臨死的時候、說、願耶和華鑒察伸冤。
    [kjv] Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son. And when he died, he said, The LORD look upon it, and require it.
    [strongs] 3808 And not 2142 remembered 3101 Joash 4428 the king 2617 the kindness 0000 that 6213 had done 3077 Jehoiada, 0001 his father 0000 with him, 2026 but he killed 1121 his son. 4194 And as he died, 0559 he said, 7200 May see 3068 Yahweh 1875 and seek {you}.
24:23 [cbb5] 滿了一年、亞蘭的軍兵上來攻擊約阿施、來到猶大和耶路撒冷、殺了民中的眾首領、將所掠的財貨送到大馬色王那裡。
    [kjv] And it came to pass at the end of the year, that the host of Syria came up against him: and they came to Judah and Jerusalem, and destroyed all the princes of the people from among the people, and sent all the spoil of them unto the king of Damascus.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 8666 at the turn of 8141 the year, 5927 came up 0000 against him 2428 the army of 0758 Aram. 0935 And they came 0413 into 3063 Judah 3389 and Jerusalem 7843 and destroyed 3605 all 0352 the leaders of 5971 the people 5971 from the people. 3605 And all 7998 their spoil 7971 they sent 4428 to the king of 1834 Damascus.
24:24 [cbb5] 亞蘭的軍兵、雖來了一小隊、耶和華卻將大隊的軍兵交在他們手裡、是因猶大人離棄耶和華他們列祖的　神．所以藉亞蘭人懲罰約阿施。
    [kjv] For the army of the Syrians came with a small company of men, and the LORD delivered a very great host into their hand, because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers. So they executed judgment against Joash.
    [strongs] 3588 For 4705 with few 0376 men 0935 came 2428 the army of 0758 Aram, 3068 but Yahweh 5414 gave 3027 into their hand 2428 an army 7230 for multitude 1419 great, 3588 for 1980 they left 3068 Yahweh, 0430 the God of 0001 their forefathers. 0413 And against 3101 Joash 4191 they executed 8201 judgment.
24:25 [cbb5] 亞蘭人離開約阿施的時候、他患重病、臣僕背叛他、要報祭司耶何耶大兒子流血之仇、殺他在床上、葬他在大衛城．只是不葬在列王的墳墓裡。
    [kjv] And when they were departed from him, (for they left him in great diseases,) his own servants conspired against him for the blood of the sons of Jehoiada the priest, and slew him on his bed, and he died: and they buried him in the city of David, but they buried him not in the sepulchres of the kings.
    [strongs] 1980 And when they left 0000 him 5800 (for they left 0000 him 4251 with diseases 7227 many) 7194 conspired 0000 against him 5650 his own servants, 1818 for the blood of 1121 sons 3077 Jehoiada 3548 the priest's, 2026 and killed him 5921 on 4296 his bed. 4191 And he died. 6912 And they buried him 5892 in the city of 1732 David, 3808 but not 6912 did bury him 6913 in the graves of 4428 the kings.
24:26 [cbb5] 背叛他的是亞捫婦人示米押的兒子撒拔、和摩押婦人示米利的兒子約薩拔。
    [kjv] And these are they that conspired against him; Zabad the son of Shimeath an Ammonitess, and Jehozabad the son of Shimrith a Moabitess.
    [strongs] 0428 And these {are} 7194 those who conspired 0000 against him. 2066 Zabad 1121 the son of 8100 Shimeath 5984 the Ammonitess, 3075 and Jehozabad 1121 the son of 8100 Shimeath 4125 the Moabitess.
24:27 [cbb5] 至於他的眾子、和他所受的警戒、並他重修　神殿的事、都寫在列王的傳上。他兒子亞瑪謝接續他作王。
    [kjv] Now concerning his sons, and the greatness of the burdens laid upon him, and the repairing of the house of God, behold, they are written in the story of the book of the kings. And Amaziah his son reigned in his stead.
    [strongs] 1121 As to his sons, 7230 and the great 5449 burdens 0000 on him, 4143 and the foundation of 1004 the house of 0430 God, 2009 look, they 3789 are written 6256 in 4697 the inquiry of 5612 the Book of 4428 the Kings. 4427 And ruled 0558 Amaziah 1121 his son 8478 in his place.
