25:1 [cbb5] 亞瑪謝登基的時候、年二十五歲、在耶路撒冷作王二十九年．他母親名叫約耶但、是耶路撒冷人。
    [kjv] Amaziah was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem.
    [strongs] 1121 A son of 6242 twenty 2568 and five 8141 years 4427 when became king 0558 Amaziah 6242 and twenty 8672 and nine 8141 years 4427 he ruled 3389 Jerusalem, 8034 and name 0517 his mother's 3086 Jehoaddan 3389 of Jerusalem.
25:2 [cbb5] 亞瑪謝行耶和華眼中看為正的事、只是心不專誠。
    [kjv] And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, but not with a perfect heart.
    [strongs] 6213 And he did 2477 the right 5869 in the eyes of 3068 Yahweh. 7535 Only, 3808 not 3820 with a heart 8003 perfect.
25:3 [cbb5] 國一堅定、就把殺他父王的臣僕殺了、
    [kjv] Now it came to pass, when the kingdom was established to him, that he slew his servants that had killed the king his father.

25:4 [cbb5] 卻沒有治死他們的兒子、是照摩西律法書上耶和華所吩咐的、說、不可因子殺父、也不可因父殺子、各人要為本身的罪而死。
    [kjv] But he slew not their children, but did as it is written in the law in the book of Moses, where the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall die for his own sin.

25:5 [cbb5] 亞瑪謝招聚猶大人、按著猶大和便雅憫的宗族、設立千夫長、百夫長．又數點人數、從二十歲以外、能拿槍拿盾牌、出去打仗的精兵、共有三十萬。
    [kjv] Moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to the houses of their fathers, throughout all Judah and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and above, and found them three hundred thousand choice men, able to go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield.
    [strongs] 6908 And gathered 0558 Amaziah 3063 Judah, 5975 and appointed them 1121 according to house 0001 {their} father's 8269 for heads of 5050 the thousands, 7218 and for heads of 3967 the hundreds, 3605 for all 3063 Judah 1144 and Benjamin. 6485 And he mustered 1121 from them 6242 twenty 8141 years 5921 and above, 4672 and found them to be 7967 three 3963 hundred 0505 thousand 0977 choice ones, 3318 going forth 4421 to battle, 0270 holding 7420 spear 4043 and shield,
25:6 [cbb5] 又用銀子一百他連得、從以色列招募了十萬大能的勇士。
    [kjv] He hired also an hundred thousand mighty men of valour out of Israel for an hundred talents of silver.
    [strongs] 7936 and he hired 3478 out of Israel 3967 a hundred 0505 thousand 1368 strong men of 2428 valor, 3967 with a hundred 0366 talents of 3701 silver.
25:7 [cbb5] 有一個神人來見亞瑪謝、對他說、王阿、不要使以色列的軍兵與你同去、因為耶和華不與以色列人以法蓮的後裔同在。
    [kjv] But there came a man of God to him, saying, O king, let not the army of Israel go with thee; for the LORD is not with Israel, to wit, with all the children of Ephraim.

25:8 [cbb5] 你若一定要去、就奮勇爭戰罷．但　神必使你敗在敵人面前、因為　神能助人得勝、也能使人傾敗。
    [kjv] But if thou wilt go, do it; be strong for the battle: God shall make thee fall before the enemy: for God hath power to help, and to cast down.

25:9 [cbb5] 亞瑪謝問神人說、我給了以色列軍的那一百他連得銀子怎麼樣呢．神人回答說、耶和華能把更多的賜給你。
    [kjv] And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD is able to give thee much more than this.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0558 Amaziah 0376 to the man of 0430 God, 4100 And what {will I} 6213 do 3967 for the hundred 3603 talents 0000 that 5414 I have given 1416 to the troops of 3478 Israel? 0559 And said 0376 the man of 0430 God, 5975 has 3068 Yahweh 5414 to give 0000 to you 7235 more 2088 than this.
25:10 [cbb5] 於是亞瑪謝將那從以法蓮來的軍兵分別出來、叫他們回家去．故此他們甚惱怒猶大人、氣忿忿地回家去了。
    [kjv] Then Amaziah separated them, to wit, the army that was come to him out of Ephraim, to go home again: wherefore their anger was greatly kindled against Judah, and they returned home in great anger.
    [strongs] 0914 And separated them 0558 Amaziah 1416 the troops 0000 that 0935 had come 0000 to him 0669 from Ephraim 1980 to go 4725 to their own place. 1197 And burned 0639 their anger 5749 fiercely 3063 against Judah, 7725 and they returned 4725 to their place 2527 in the heat of 0639 anger.
25:11 [cbb5] 亞瑪謝壯起膽來、率領他的民到鹽谷、殺了西珥人一萬。
    [kjv] And Amaziah strengthened himself, and led forth his people, and went to the valley of salt, and smote of the children of Seir ten thousand.
    [strongs] 0558 And Amaziah 2388 made himself strong 5090 and led 5971 his people 1980 and went 1516 to the Valley of 4417 Salt, 5221 and struck 1121 of the sons of 8165 Seir 6235 ten 0505 thousand.
25:12 [cbb5] 猶大人又生擒了一萬帶到山崖上、從那裡把他們扔下去、以致他們都摔碎了。
    [kjv] And other ten thousand left alive did the children of Judah carry away captive, and brought them unto the top of the rock, and cast them down from the top of the rock, that they all were broken in pieces.
    [strongs] 6235 And ten 0505 thousand 2416 alive 7617 captured 1121 the sons of 3063 Judah, 0935 and they brought them 7218 to the top of 6697 the rock 7993 and threw them 7200 from the top of 6697 the rock. 3605 And all of them 7665 were broken.
25:13 [cbb5] 但亞瑪謝所打發回去、不許一同出征的那些軍兵、攻打猶大各城、從撒瑪利亞直到伯和崙、殺了三千人、搶了許多財物。
    [kjv] But the soldiers of the army which Amaziah sent back, that they should not go with him to battle, fell upon the cities of Judah, from Samaria even unto Bethhoron, and smote three thousand of them, and took much spoil.
    [strongs] 1121 And the sons of 1416 the troops 0834 that 7725 had sent back 0558 Amaziah 1980 from going with 0000 him 4421 to battle, 6584 they raided 5892 against the cities of 3063 Judah, 8111 from Samaria 5704 even to 1032 Bethhoron, 5221 and struck 0000 of them 7967 three 0505 thousand 0962 and plundered 7998 spoil 7230 much.
25:14 [cbb5] 亞瑪謝殺了以東人回來、就把西珥的神像帶回、立為自己的神、在他面前叩拜燒香。
    [kjv] Now it came to pass, after that Amaziah was come from the slaughter of the Edomites, that he brought the gods of the children of Seir, and set them up to be his gods, and bowed down himself before them, and burned incense unto them.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was 0310 after 0935 came 0558 Amaziah 5221 from striking 0123 the Edomites, 0935 that he brought in 0430 the gods of 1121 the sons of 8165 Seir 5975 and set them up 0000 for himself 0430 as gods. 6440 And in front of them 7812 bowed himself 0000 and to them 6999 burned incense.
25:15 [cbb5] 因此、耶和華的怒氣向亞瑪謝發作、就差一個先知去見他、說、這些神不能救他的民脫離你的手、你為何尋求他呢。
    [kjv] Wherefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against Amaziah, and he sent unto him a prophet, which said unto him, Why hast thou sought after the gods of the people, which could not deliver their own people out of thine hand?

25:16 [cbb5] 先知與王說話的時候、王對他說、誰立你作王的謀士呢．你住口罷、為何找打呢．先知就止住了．又說、你行這事不聽從我的勸戒、我知道　神定意要滅你。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that the king said unto him, Art thou made of the king's counsel? forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? Then the prophet forbare, and said, I know that God hath determined to destroy thee, because thou hast done this, and hast not hearkened unto my counsel.

25:17 [cbb5] 猶大王亞瑪謝與群臣商議、就差遣使者去見耶戶的孫子約哈斯的兒子以色列王約阿施說、你來、我們二人相見於戰場。
    [kjv] Then Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face.
    [strongs] 3289 And took counsel 0558 Amaziah 4428 the king of 3063 Judah 7971 and sent 0413 to 3060 Jehoash 1121 the son of 3059 Jehoahaz, 1121 the son of 3058 Jehu 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 0559 saying, 0935 Come, 7200 let us look at each other's 6440 face.
25:18 [cbb5] 以色列王約阿施差遣使者去見猶大王亞瑪謝說、利巴嫩的蒺藜、差遣使者去見利巴嫩的香柏樹、說、將你的女兒給我兒子為妻．後來利巴嫩有一個野獸經過、把蒺藜踐踏了。
    [kjv] And Joash king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give thy daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle.
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 3060 Jehoash 4428 the king of 3478 Israel 0413 to 0558 Amaziah 4428 the king of 3063 Judah, 0559 saying, 2336 The thorn 0834 that {was} 3844 in Lebanon 7971 sent 0413 to 7300 the cedar 0834 that {was} 3844 in Lebanon. 0559 saying, 5414 Give 1323 your daughter 5209 to my son 0802 for a wife. 5674 And passed by 2410 an animal of 7704 the field 0834 that {was} 3844 in Lebanon 7429 and trampled 2336 the thorn.
25:19 [cbb5] 你說、看哪、我打敗了以東人、你就心高氣傲、以致矜誇．你在家裡安居就罷了、為何要惹禍使自己和猶大國一同敗亡呢。
    [kjv] Thou sayest, Lo, thou hast smitten the Edomites; and thine heart lifteth thee up to boast: abide now at home; why shouldest thou meddle to thine hurt, that thou shouldest fall, even thou, and Judah with thee?
    [strongs] 1696 You have said, 2009 Look, 5221 I have struck 0123 Edom. 5375 And has lifted you up 3824 your heart 3513 to boast. 6258 Now, 3855 stay 1004 in your house. 4100 Why 1624 should you stir yourself 7451 to evil, 5307 that you should fall, 0859 you 3063 and Judah 0000 with you?
25:20 [cbb5] 亞瑪謝卻不肯聽從．這是出乎　神、好將他們交在敵人手裡、因為他們尋求以東的神。
    [kjv] But Amaziah would not hear; for it came of God, that he might deliver them into the hand of their enemies, because they sought after the gods of Edom.
    [strongs] 3808 But not 8085 would listen 0558 Amaziah, 3588 for 0430 from God 1961 it {was} 4616 in order to 5414 give them 3027 into {their} hand, 3588 for 1875 they had sought 0430 the gods of 0123 Edom.
25:21 [cbb5] 於是以色列王約阿施上來、在猶大的伯示麥與猶大王亞瑪謝相見於戰場。
    [kjv] So Joash the king of Israel went up; and they saw one another in the face, both he and Amaziah king of Judah, at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah.
    [strongs] 5927 And went up 3060 Jehoash 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 7200 and they saw each other's 6440 face, 1931 he 0558 and Amaziah 4428 the king of 3063 Judah, 1053 at Bethshemesh 0834 that {was} 3063 Judah's.
25:22 [cbb5] 猶大人敗在以色列人面前、各自逃回家裡去了。
    [kjv] And Judah was put to the worse before Israel, and they fled every man to his tent.
    [strongs] 5061 And was beaten 3063 Judah 6440 in front of 3478 Israel. 0727 And they ran away 0376 each 0168 to his tent.
25:23 [cbb5] 以色列王約阿施、在伯示麥擒住約哈斯〔就是亞哈謝〕的孫子約阿施的兒子猶大王亞瑪謝、將他帶到耶路撒冷．又拆毀耶路撒冷的城牆、從以法蓮門、直到角門、共四百肘。
    [kjv] And Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits.
    [strongs] 0000 And 0558 Amaziah 4428 the king of 3063 Judah, 1121 the son of 3101 Joash, 1121 the son of 3059 Jehoahaz, 8610 captured 3101 Joash 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 1053 at Bethshemesh, 0935 and he bore him to 3389 Jerusalem, 5422 and broke down 2346 the wall of 3389 Jerusalem 8179 from the gate of 0669 Ephraim 5704 to 8179 the gate of 6437 the corner, 0702 four 3963 hundred 5200 cubits.
25:24 [cbb5] 又將俄別以東所看守　神殿裡的一切金銀、和器皿、與王宮裡的財寶、都拿了去．並帶人去為質、就回撒瑪利亞去了。
    [kjv] And he took all the gold and the silver, and all the vessels that were found in the house of God with Obededom, and the treasures of the king's house, the hostages also, and returned to Samaria.
    [strongs] 3605 And {took} all 2096 the gold, 3701 and the silver, 0000 and 3605 all 3627 the utensils 4679 that were found 1004 in the house of 0430 God 5654 with Obededom, 0000 and 0214 the treasures of 1004 house 4428 the king's, 1121 the sons of 8594 the hostages, 7725 and returned to 8111 Samaria.
25:25 [cbb5] 以色列王約哈斯的兒子約阿施死後、猶大王約阿施的兒子亞瑪謝又活了十五年。
    [kjv] And Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah lived after the death of Joash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel fifteen years.
    [strongs] 2421 And lived 0558 Amaziah 1121 the son of 3101 Joash, 4428 the king of 3063 Judah, 0310 after 4194 the death of 3101 Jeoash 1121 the son of 3059 Jehoahaz, 4428 the king of 3478 Israel 2568 fif- 6240 teen 8141 years.
25:26 [cbb5] 亞瑪謝其餘的事、自始至終、不都寫在猶大和以色列諸王記上麼。
    [kjv] Now the rest of the acts of Amaziah, first and last, behold, are they not written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel?

25:27 [cbb5] 自從亞瑪謝離棄耶和華之後、在耶路撒冷有人背叛他、他就逃到拉吉．叛黨卻打發人到拉吉、將他殺了。
    [kjv] Now after the time that Amaziah did turn away from following the LORD they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem; and he fled to Lachish: but they sent to Lachish after him, and slew him there.

25:28 [cbb5] 人就用馬將他的屍首馱回、葬在猶大京城、他列祖的墳地裡。
    [kjv] And they brought him upon horses, and buried him with his fathers in the city of Judah.
