13:1 [cbb5] 猶大王亞哈謝的兒子約阿施二十三年、耶戶的兒子約哈斯在撒瑪利亞登基、作以色列王十七年。
    [kjv] In the three and twentieth year of Joash the son of Ahaziah king of Judah Jehoahaz the son of Jehu began to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned seventeen years.
    [strongs] 8141 In the year, 6242 {the} twenty- 7992 and third 8141 year 3101 of Joash 1121 the son of 0274 Ahaziah, 4428 the king of 3063 Judah, 4427 became king 3059 Jehoahaz 1121 the son of 3058 Jehu 5971 over 3478 Israel, 8111 in Samaria, 7651 seven- 6240 teen 8141 years.
13:2 [cbb5] 約哈斯行耶和華眼中看為惡的事、效法尼八的兒子耶羅波安使以色列人陷在罪裡的那罪、總不離開．
    [kjv] And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, and followed the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.
    [strongs] 6213 And he did 7451 the evil 5869 in the eyes of 3068 Yahweh, 1980 and went 0310 after 2403 the sins of 3379 Jeroboam 1121 the son of 5028 Nebat, 0000 that 2398 he caused to sin 3478 Israel. 3808 not 5493 he did turn 0000 from it.
13:3 [cbb5] 於是耶和華的怒氣向以色列人發作、將他們屢次交在亞蘭王哈薛和他兒子便哈達的手裡。
    [kjv] And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael, all their days.
    [strongs] 1197 And burned 0639 the anger of 3068 Yahweh 3478 against Israel, 5414 and He gave them 3027 into the hand of 2370 Hazael 4428 the king of 0758 Syria, 3027 and into the hand of 1131 Ben-hadad 1121 the son of 2370 Hazael 3605 all 3117 the days.
13:4 [cbb5] 約哈斯懇求耶和華、耶和華就應允他、因為見以色列人所受亞蘭王的欺壓。
    [kjv] And Jehoahaz besought the LORD, and the LORD hearkened unto him: for he saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them.
    [strongs] 2470 And entreated 3059 Jehoahaz 6440 the face of 3068 Yahweh, 8085 and listened 0000 to him 3068 Yahweh, 3588 for 7200 He saw 3906 the oppression of 3478 Israel. 3588 Because 3905 had oppressed 0000 them 4428 the king of 0758 Aram.
13:5 [cbb5] 耶和華賜給以色列人一位拯救者、使他們脫離亞蘭人的手．於是以色列人仍舊安居在家裡。
    [kjv] (And the LORD gave Israel a saviour, so that they went out from under the hand of the Syrians: and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents, as beforetime.
    [strongs] 5414 And gave 3068 Yahweh 3478 to Israel 3467 a deliverer, 3318 and they went out 8478 from under 3027 the hand of 0758 Aram, 3427 and lived 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 0168 in their tents 8543 as yesterday 8032 three days ago.
13:6 [cbb5] 然而他們不離開耶羅波安家使以色列人陷在罪裡的那罪、仍然去行．並且在撒瑪利亞留下亞舍拉。
    [kjv] Nevertheless they departed not from the sins of the house of Jeroboam, who made Israel sin, but walked therein: and there remained the grove also in Samaria.)
    [strongs] 0389 Only, 3808 not 5493 they did turn 2403 from the sins of 1004 the household of 3379 Jeroboam 2398 that he caused to sin 3478 Israel, 0000 in it 1980 he walked. 1571 And also 0842 the Asherah 5975 remained standing 8111 in Samaria.
13:7 [cbb5] 亞蘭王滅絕約哈斯的民、踐踏他們如禾場上的塵沙．只給約哈斯留下五十馬兵、十輛戰車、一萬步兵。
    [kjv] Neither did he leave of the people to Jehoahaz but fifty horsemen, and ten chariots, and ten thousand footmen; for the king of Syria had destroyed them, and had made them like the dust by threshing.
    [strongs] 3588 For 7604 not He did leave 3059 to Jehoahaz 5971 {any of} the people 3588 ex- 0518 cept 2572 fifty 6571 horsemen, 6235 and ten 7393 chariots, 6235 and ten 0505 thousand 7273 footmen. 3588 Because 0006 had destroyed them 4428 the king of 0758 Aram, 7760 and had made them 6083 like dust 1758 at threshing.
13:8 [cbb5] 約哈斯其餘的事、凡他所行的、和他的勇力、都寫在以色列諸王記上．
    [kjv] Now the rest of the acts of Jehoahaz, and all that he did, and his might, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
    [strongs] 3499 And the rest of 1697 the acts of 3059 Jehoahaz, 3605 and all 0834 that 6213 he did, 1369 and his strength, 3808 not 1992 they 3789 are written 6256 in 4428 of the Kings of 1697 the Matters 3117 of the Days 4428 of the kings of 3478 Israel?
13:9 [cbb5] 約哈斯與他列祖同睡、葬在撒瑪利亞．他兒子約阿施接續他作王。
    [kjv] And Jehoahaz slept with his fathers; and they buried him in Samaria: and Joash his son reigned in his stead.
    [strongs] 7901 And lay 3059 Jehoahaz 5973 with 0001 his forefathers, 6912 and they buried him 8111 in Samaria, 4427 And ruled 3101 Joash 1121 his son 4725 in his place.
13:10 [cbb5] 猶大王約阿施三十七年、約哈斯的兒子約阿施在撒瑪利亞登基、作以色列王十六年。
    [kjv] In the thirty and seventh year of Joash king of Judah began Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz to reign over Israel in Samaria, and reigned sixteen years.
    [strongs] 8141 In the year, 7970 {the} thirty- 7637 and seventh 8141 year 3101 of Joash 4428 the king of 3063 Judah, 4427 ruled 3060 Jehoash 1121 the son of 3059 Jehoahaz 5921 over 3478 Israel, 8111 in Samaria 8337 six- 6240 teen 8141 years.
13:11 [cbb5] 他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事、不離開尼八的兒子耶羅波安使以色列人陷在罪裡的一切罪、仍然去行。
    [kjv] And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD; he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel sin: but he walked therein.
    [strongs] 6213 And he did 7451 the evil 5869 in the eyes of 3068 Yahweh. 3808 not 5493 He did turn aside 3605 from all 2403 the sins of 3379 Jeroboam 1121 the son of 5028 Nebat, 0000 that 2398 he caused to sin 3478 Israel. 0000 In it 1980 he walked.
13:12 [cbb5] 約阿施其餘的事、凡他所行的、和他與猶大王亞瑪謝爭戰的勇力、都寫在以色列諸王記上．
    [kjv] And the rest of the acts of Joash, and all that he did, and his might wherewith he fought against Amaziah king of Judah, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?
    [strongs] 3499 And the rest of 1697 the acts of 3101 Joash, 3605 and all 7969 the 6213 he did, 1369 and his strength 0834 with which 2898 he fought 5973 with 0558 Amaziah 4428 the king of 3063 Judah, 3808 not 1992 they 3789 are written 6256 in 5612 the Book of 1697 the Matters 3117 of the Days 4428 of the Kings of 3478 Israel?
13:13 [cbb5] 約阿施與他列祖同睡．耶羅波安坐了他的位．約阿施與以色列諸王一同葬在撒瑪利亞。
    [kjv] And Joash slept with his fathers; and Jeroboam sat upon his throne: and Joash was buried in Samaria with the kings of Israel.
    [strongs] 7901 And lay 3101 Joash 5973 with 0001 his forefathers. 3379 And Jeroboam 3427 sat 5921 on 3178 his throne 6912 and was buried 3101 Joash 8111 in Samaria 5973 with 4428 the kings of 3478 Israel.
13:14 [cbb5] 以利沙得了必死的病．以色列王約阿施下來看他、伏在他臉上哭泣、說、我父阿、我父阿、以色列的戰車馬兵阿。
    [kjv] Now Elisha was fallen sick of his sickness whereof he died. And Joash the king of Israel came down unto him, and wept over his face, and said, O my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof.
    [strongs] 0477 And Elisha 2470 had become sick 0854 with 2483 his illness 0834 by which 4191 he died 0000 with it. 1980 And came down 0000 to him 3101 Joash, 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 1058 and wept 5921 on 6440 his face, 0559 and said, 0001 My father, 0001 my father, 7393 the chariots of 3478 Israel, 6571 and its horsemen!
13:15 [cbb5] 以利沙對他說、你取弓箭來．王就取了弓箭來。
    [kjv] And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0000 to him 0477 Elisha, 0394 Take 7198 a bow 2671 and arrows. 3947 And he took 0000 to himself 7198 a bow 2671 and arrows.
13:16 [cbb5] 又對以色列王說、你用手拿弓．王就用手拿弓．以利沙按手在王的手上．
    [kjv] And he said to the king of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the king's hands.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said 4428 to the king of 3478 Israel, 7392 Make to ride 3027 your hand 5921 on 7198 the bow. 7392 And he placed 3027 his hand. 7760 And put 0477 Elisha 3027 his hand 3027 on the hand of 4428 the king,
13:17 [cbb5] 說、你開朝東的窗戶．他就開了．以利沙說、射箭罷．他就射箭．以利沙說、這是耶和華的得勝箭、就是戰勝亞蘭人的箭．因為你必在亞弗攻打亞蘭人、直到滅盡他們。
    [kjv] And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the LORD's deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them.
    [strongs] 0559 and said, 6605 Open 2474 the window 6924 eastward. 6605 And he opened. 0559 And said 0477 Elisha, 3384 Shoot! 3384 And he shot. 0559 And he said, 2071 The arrow of 8668 deliverance 3068 of Yahweh, 2071 and the arrow of 8668 deliverance 0758 from Aram. 5221 For you will strike 0758 Aram 0663 in Aphek 5704 until 3615 it is finished.
13:18 [cbb5] 以利沙又說、取幾枝箭來．他就取了來．以利沙說、打地罷。他打了三次、便止住了．
    [kjv] And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the king of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said, 0394 Take 2671 the arrows, 2671 and he took {them}. 0559 And he said 4428 to the king of 3478 Israel, 5221 Strike 0776 the earth. 5221 And he struck 7967 three 6471 times, 5975 and stood.
13:19 [cbb5] 神人向他發怒、說、應當擊打五六次、就能攻打亞蘭人、直到滅盡．現在只能打敗亞蘭人三次。
    [kjv] And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice.
    [strongs] 2734 And was angry 0000 with him 0376 the man of 0430 God, 0559 and said, 5221 By smiting 2568 five 0176 or 8337 six 6471 times, 5221 then you would have smitten 0758 Aram 5704 until 3615 it was ended 6258 but now, 7967 three 6471 times 5221 you will strike 0758 Aram.
13:20 [cbb5] 以利沙死了、人將他葬埋。到了新年、有一群摩押人犯境．
    [kjv] And Elisha died, and they buried him. And the bands of the Moabites invaded the land at the coming in of the year.
    [strongs] 4191 And died 0477 Elisha, 6912 and they buried him. 1416 And the bands of 4124 Moab 0935 came 0776 into the land 0935 {at the} coming of 8141 {the} year.
13:21 [cbb5] 有人正葬死人、忽然看見一群人、就把死人拋在以利沙的墳墓裡．一碰著以利沙的骸骨、死人就復活站起來了。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, as they were burying a man, that, behold, they spied a band of men; and they cast the man into the sepulchre of Elisha: and when the man was let down, and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived, and stood up on his feet.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 1992 they 6912 were burying 0376 a man. 2009 And, behold, 7200 they saw 1416 the band, 7993 and threw 0376 the man 6913 into the grave of 0477 Elisha. 1980 And went 5060 and touched 0376 the man 6106 the bones of 0477 Elisha, 2421 and came alive, 2224 and rose 5921 on 7272 his feet.
13:22 [cbb5] 約哈斯年間、亞蘭王哈薛屢次欺壓以色列人．
    [kjv] But Hazael king of Syria oppressed Israel all the days of Jehoahaz.
    [strongs] 2370 And Hazael 4428 the king of 0758 Aram 3905 oppressed 3478 Israel 3605 all 3117 the days of 3059 Jehoahaz.
13:23 [cbb5] 耶和華卻因與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的約、仍施恩給以色列人、憐恤他們、眷顧他們、不肯滅盡他們、尚未趕逐他們離開自己面前。
    [kjv] And the LORD was gracious unto them, and had compassion on them, and had respect unto them, because of his covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and would not destroy them, neither cast he them from his presence as yet.
    [strongs] 2603 And was gracious 3068 Yahweh 0000 to them, 7355 and pitied them, 6437 and turned 0413 toward them, 5668 for the sake of 1285 His covenant 0000 with 0085 Abraham, 3327 Isaac, 3290 and Jacob, 3808 and not 2974 was willing 7843 to destroy them, 3808 nor 7993 to cast them out 5921 from 6440 His presence 5704 until 6258 now.
13:24 [cbb5] 亞蘭王哈薛死了．他兒子便哈達接續他作王。
    [kjv] So Hazael king of Syria died; and Benhadad his son reigned in his stead.
    [strongs] 4191 And died 2370 Hazael, 4428 the king of 0758 Aram 4427 and ruled 1131 Ben-hadad 1121 his son 4725 in his place.
13:25 [cbb5] 從前哈薛和約阿施的父親約哈斯爭戰、攻取了些城邑．現在約哈斯的兒子約阿施三次打敗哈薛的兒子便哈達、就收回了以色列的城邑。
    [kjv] And Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again out of the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael the cities, which he had taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father by war. Three times did Joash beat him, and recovered the cities of Israel.
    [strongs] 7725 And returned 3060 Jehoash 1121 the son of 3059 Jehoahaz 3947 and took 5892 the cities 3027 out of the hand of 1121 Ben- 1908 hadad 1121 the son of 2370 Hazael 0000 that 3947 he had taken 3027 out of the hand of 3059 Jehoahaz 0001 his father 4421 in battle. 7967 Three 6471 times, 5227 struck him 3101 Joash 7725 and recovered 5892 the cities of 3478 Israel.
