    [kjv] And the king sent, and they gathered unto him all the elders of Judah and of Jerusalem.

23:2 [cbb5] 王和猶大眾人、與耶路撒冷的居民、並祭司、先知、和所有的百姓、無論大小、都一同上到耶和華的殿．王就把耶和華殿裡所得的約書念給他們聽。
    [kjv] And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem with him, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the people, both small and great: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant which was found in the house of the LORD.
    [strongs] 5927 And went to 4428 the king 1004 the house of 3068 Yahweh, 3605 and every 0376 man of 3063 Judah, 3605 and all 3427 the inhabitants of 3389 Jerusalem 0000 with him 3548 and the priests, 5030 and the prophets, 3605 even all 5971 the people 6996 from small 5704 to 1419 great. 7121 And he read 0241 in their ears 3605 all 1697 the words of 5612 the book of 1285 the covenant 4672 that was found 1004 in the house of 3068 Yahweh.
23:3 [cbb5] 王站在柱旁、在耶和華面前立約、要盡心盡性的順從耶和華、遵守他的誡命、法度、律例、成就這書上所記的約言．眾民都服從這約。
    [kjv] And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.

23:4 [cbb5] 王吩咐大祭司希勒家、和副祭司、並把門的、將那為巴力、和亞舍拉、並天上萬象所造的器皿、都從耶和華殿裡搬出來、在耶路撒冷外汲淪溪旁的田間燒了、把灰拿到伯特利去。
    [kjv] And the king commanded Hilkiah the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the keepers of the door, to bring forth out of the temple of the LORD all the vessels that were made for Baal, and for the grove, and for all the host of heaven: and he burned them without Jerusalem in the fields of Kidron, and carried the ashes of them unto Bethel.
    [strongs] 6680 And commanded 4428 the king 2518 Hilkiah 3548 the priest 1364 high, 0000 and 3548 the priests of 4932 the second order, 0000 and 8104 the keepers of 5592 the threshold, 3318 to bring out 1964 from the temple of 3068 Yahweh 3605 all 3627 the containers 6213 that were made 1168 for Baal, 0842 and for Asherah, 3605 and for all 6635 the army of 8064 the heavens. 8313 And he burned them 2351 outside 3389 of Jerusalem, 6256 in 7709 the fields of 6939 Kidron, 5375 and carried 6083 their ashes 1008 to Bethel.
23:5 [cbb5] 從前猶大列王所立拜偶像的祭司、在猶大城邑的邱壇、和耶路撒冷的周圍燒香．現在王都廢去．又廢去向巴力、和日、月、行星、〔行星或作十二宮〕並天上萬象、燒香的人．
    [kjv] And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.
    [strongs] 7673 And he made cease 3548 the priests 3649 idolatrous 0834 whom 5414 had set 4428 the kings of 3063 Judah 6999 to offer sacrifices 1116 in the high places 5892 in the cities of 3063 Judah, 5430 and around 3389 Jerusalem, 0000 and 6999 those offering sacrifices 1188 to Baal, 8127 to the sun, 3394 and to the moon 4208 and to the constellations 3605 and to all 6635 the armies of 8064 the heavens.
23:6 [cbb5] 又從耶和華殿裡、將亞舍拉搬到耶路撒冷外汲淪溪邊焚燒、打碎成灰、將灰撒在平民的墳上．
    [kjv] And he brought out the grove from the house of the LORD, without Jerusalem, unto the brook Kidron, and burned it at the brook Kidron, and stamped it small to powder, and cast the powder thereof upon the graves of the children of the people.
    [strongs] 3318 And he brought out 0842 the Asherah 1004 from the house of 3068 Yahweh 2351 outside 3389 Jerusalem 0413 to 5158 the brook 6939 Kidron, 1197 and burned 1961 it 5158 at the brook 6939 Kidron, 0127 and ground 6083 to dust, 7993 and threw 6083 its dust 6913 on the graves of 1121 the sons of 5971 the people.
23:7 [cbb5] 又拆毀耶和華殿裡孌童的屋子、就是婦女為亞舍拉織帳子的屋子．
    [kjv] And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.
    [strongs] 5422 And he razed 1004 the houses of 6945 the male prostitutes 0834 that {were} 1004 in the house of 3068 Yahweh, 0834 where 0802 the women 0707 were weaving 8033 there 1004 houses 0842 of the Asherah.
23:8 [cbb5] 並且從猶大的城邑帶眾祭司來、污穢祭司燒香的邱壇、從迦巴直到別是巴、又拆毀城門旁的邱壇、這邱壇在邑宰約書亞門前、進城門的左邊。
    [kjv] And he brought all the priests out of the cities of Judah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geba to Beersheba, and brake down the high places of the gates that were in the entering in of the gate of Joshua the governor of the city, which were on a man's left hand at the gate of the city.
    [strongs] 0935 And he brought 3605 all 3548 the priests 5892 out of cities 3063 Judah's 1351 and defiled 1116 the high places 0834 where 6999 burned incense 8033 there 3548 the priests 1387 from Geba 5704 to 0884 Beer-sheba, 5422 and he razed 4791 the high places of 8179 the gates 6607 {at the} entrance of 8179 the gate of 3091 Joshua 8269 the ruler of 5892 the city, 0834 which {were} 5921 on 8040 left 0376 a man's 8179 at the gate of 5892 the city.
23:9 [cbb5] 但是邱壇的祭司不登耶路撒冷耶和華的壇、只在他們弟兄中間喫無酵餅．
    [kjv] Nevertheless the priests of the high places came not up to the altar of the LORD in Jerusalem, but they did eat of the unleavened bread among their brethren.
    [strongs] 0389 Only, 3808 not 5927 did come up 3548 the priests of 1116 the high places 0413 to 4196 the altar of 3068 Yahweh 3389 in Jerusalem, 3588 but 0398 they ate 4682 unleavened bread 8432 among 0251 their brothers.
23:10 [cbb5] 又污穢欣嫩子谷的陀斐特、不許人在那裡使兒女經火、獻給摩洛．
    [kjv] And he defiled Topheth, which is in the valley of the children of Hinnom, that no man might make his son or his daughter to pass through the fire to Molech.
    [strongs] 2930 And he defiled 8672 Topheth, 0834 that {was} 1516 in the valley of 1121 the son of 2011 Hinnom, 1097 so that no 5674 could cause to pass through 0376 man 1121 his son 0000 and 1359 his daughter 0784 the fire 4432 to Molech.
23:11 [cbb5] 又將猶大列王在耶和華殿門旁、太監拿單米勒靠近遊廊的屋子、向日頭所獻的馬廢去、且用火焚燒日車。
    [kjv] And he took away the horses that the kings of Judah had given to the sun, at the entering in of the house of the LORD, by the chamber of Nathanmelech the chamberlain, which was in the suburbs, and burned the chariots of the sun with fire.
    [strongs] 7673 And he made cease 5483 the horses 0834 that 5414 had given 3063 the kings of Judah 8127 to the sun, 6607 at entrance 1004 the house of 3068 Yahweh's, 5921 by 3957 the room of 5419 Nathan-Melech 5631 the eunuch 0834 that {was} 6503 in the courts. 0000 And 7393 the chariots of 8121 the sun 8313 he burned 0784 with fire.
23:12 [cbb5] 猶大列王在亞哈斯樓頂上所築的壇、和瑪拿西在耶和華殿兩院中所築的壇、王都拆毀打碎了、就把灰倒在汲淪溪中。
    [kjv] And the altars that were on the top of the upper chamber of Ahaz, which the kings of Judah had made, and the altars which Manasseh had made in the two courts of the house of the LORD, did the king beat down, and brake them down from thence, and cast the dust of them into the brook Kidron.
    [strongs] 0000 And 4196 the altars 0834 that {were} 7218 on the top of 5944 the upper room of 0271 Ahaz, 0834 which 6213 had made 4428 the kings of 3063 Judah, 0000 and 4196 the altars 0834 which 6213 had made 4519 Manasseh 8147 in the two 2691 courts of 1004 the house of 3068 Yahweh, 5422 broke down 4428 the king, 7323 and ran 8033 from there, 7993 and threw 6083 their dust 0413 into 5158 the brook 6939 Kidron.
23:13 [cbb5] 從前以色列王所羅門在耶路撒冷前、邪僻山右邊、為西頓人可憎的神亞斯他錄、摩押人可憎的神基抹、亞捫人可憎的神米勒公、所築的邱壇、王都污穢了。
    [kjv] And the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the children of Ammon, did the king defile.
    [strongs] 0000 And 1116 the high places 0834 that {were} 6440 in front of 3389 Jerusalem, 0834 which {were} 3225 of the right hand 2022 of the Mount of 4889 Corruption 0834 which 1129 had built 8010 Solomon 4428 the king of 3478 Israel 6253 for Ashtoreth 8251 the idol of 6722 the Sidonians, 2645 and for Chemosh, 8251 the idol of 4124 Moab. 4445 And for Milcom 8441 the disgust of 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon, 1351 defiled 4428 the king.
23:14 [cbb5] 又打碎柱像、砍下木偶、將人的骨頭充滿了那地方。
    [kjv] And he brake in pieces the images, and cut down the groves, and filled their places with the bones of men.
    [strongs] 7665 And smashed 5902 pillars 3772 and cut down 0842 Asherim, 4390 and filled 4725 their place 6106 {with} the bones of 0120 men.
23:15 [cbb5] 他將伯特利的壇、就是叫以色列人陷在罪裡尼八的兒子耶羅波安所築的那壇、都拆毀焚燒、打碎成灰、並焚燒了亞舍拉。
    [kjv] Moreover the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that altar and the high place he brake down, and burned the high place, and stamped it small to powder, and burned the grove.
    [strongs] 1571 And also 4196 the altar 0834 that {was} 1008 in Bethel 1116 the high place 0834 that 6213 had made 3379 Jeroboam, 1121 the son of 5028 Nebat, 0834 who 2398 made to sin 3478 Israel, 8147 both 4196 altar 1931 that 0000 and 1116 the high place 5422 he broke down, 1197 and burned 1116 the high place. 1852 And ground {it} 6083 to dust 1197 and burned 0842 Asherah.
23:16 [cbb5] 約西亞回頭、看見山上的墳墓、就打發人將墳墓裡的骸骨取出來、燒在壇上、污穢了壇、正如從前神人宣傳耶和華的話。
    [kjv] And as Josiah turned himself, he spied the sepulchres that were there in the mount, and sent, and took the bones out of the sepulchres, and burned them upon the altar, and polluted it, according to the word of the LORD which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words.
    [strongs] 6437 And turned 2977 Josiah 7200 and saw 6913 the graves 0834 that {were} 8033 there 2022 in the mount, 7971 and sent 3947 and took 6106 the bones 4480 out of 6913 the graves, 1197 and burned 5921 {them} on 4196 the altar 2930 and defiled it, 1697 as the word of 3068 Yahweh 0000 that 2199 had cried 0376 the man of 0430 God, 0834 who 2199 had cried 1697 things 0428 these.
23:17 [cbb5] 約西亞問說、我所看見的是甚麼碑。那城裡的人回答說、先前有神人從猶大來、豫先說王現在向伯特利壇所行的事、這就是他的墓碑。
    [kjv] Then he said, What title is that that I see? And the men of the city told him, It is the sepulchre of the man of God, which came from Judah, and proclaimed these things that thou hast done against the altar of Bethel.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said, 4100 What {is} 6725 monument 1975 this 0834 that 0589 I 7200 see? 0559 And said 0000 to him 0376 the men of 5892 the city, 6913 the grave of 0376 the man of 0430 God 0834 who 0935 came 3063 from Judah 6817 and cried 1697 things 0428 these 0834 that 6213 you have done 5921 as to 4196 the altar of 1008 Bethel.
23:18 [cbb5] 約西亞說、由他罷．不要挪移他的骸骨。他們就不動他的骸骨、也不動從撒瑪利亞來那先知的骸骨。
    [kjv] And he said, Let him alone; let no man move his bones. So they let his bones alone, with the bones of the prophet that came out of Samaria.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said, 2308 Let alone 0000 him, 0376 one 0408 no 5128 let touch 6106 his bones. 4422 And they let escape 6106 his bones 0854 with 6106 the bones of 5030 the prophet 0834 that 0935 came 8111 out of Samaria.
23:19 [cbb5] 從前以色列諸王在撒瑪利亞的城邑、建築邱壇的殿、惹動耶和華的怒氣、現在約西亞都廢去了、就如他在伯特利所行的一般．
    [kjv] And all the houses also of the high places that were in the cities of Samaria, which the kings of Israel had made to provoke the Lord to anger, Josiah took away, and did to them according to all the acts that he had done in Bethel.
    [strongs] 1571 And also 3605 all 1004 the houses of 1116 the high places 0834 that {were} 5892 in the cities of 8111 Samaria, 0834 that 6213 had made 4428 the kings of 3478 Israel 3707 to provoke to anger, 5493 removed 2977 Josiah 6213 and did 0000 to them 3605 according to all 4639 the acts 0834 that 6213 he had done 1008 in Bethel.
23:20 [cbb5] 又將邱壇的祭司、都殺在壇上、並在壇上燒人的骨頭、就回耶路撒冷去了。
    [kjv] And he slew all the priests of the high places that were there upon the altars, and burned men's bones upon them, and returned to Jerusalem.
    [strongs] 2076 And he slaughtered 3605 all 3548 the priests of 1116 the high places 0834 who {were} 8033 there 5921 by 4196 the altars, 1197 and burned 6106 the bones of 0120 men 5921 upon them, 7725 and returned 3389 to Jerusalem.
23:21 [cbb5] 王吩咐眾民說、你們當照這約書上所寫的、向耶和華你們的　神守逾越節。
    [kjv] And the king commanded all the people, saying, Keep the passover unto the LORD your God, as it is written in the book of this covenant.
    [strongs] 6680 And directed 4428 the king 3605 all 5971 the people, 0559 saying, 6213 Prepare 6453 a Passover 3068 to Yahweh 0430 your God 3789 as it is written 6256 in 5612 the book of 1285 the covenant 2088 this.
23:22 [cbb5] 自從士師治理以色列人、和以色列王猶大王的時候、直到如今、實在沒有守過這樣的逾越節．
    [kjv] Surely there was not holden such a passover from the days of the judges that judged Israel, nor in all the days of the kings of Israel, nor of the kings of Judah;
    [strongs] 3588 Surely 3808 not 6213 has been prepared 6453 like Passover 2088 this 3117 from the days of 8199 the judges 0834 who 8199 judged 3478 Israel, 3605 even all 3117 the days of 4428 kings 3478 Israel's, 4428 and kings 3063 Judah's.
23:23 [cbb5] 只有約西亞王十八年在耶路撒冷向耶和華守這逾越節。
    [kjv] But in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, wherein this passover was holden to the LORD in Jerusalem.

23:24 [cbb5] 凡猶大國和耶路撒冷所有交鬼的、行巫術的、與家中的神像、和偶像、並一切可憎之物、約西亞盡都除掉、成就了祭司希勒家在耶和華殿裡所得律法書上所寫的話。
    [kjv] Moreover the workers with familiar spirits, and the wizards, and the images, and the idols, and all the abominations that were spied in the land of Judah and in Jerusalem, did Josiah put away, that he might perform the words of the law which were written in the book that Hilkiah the priest found in the house of the LORD.
    [strongs] 1571 And also, 0178 the mediums and 3049 the soothsayers 0000 and 8655 the family gods, 0000 and 1544 the idols, 0000 and 3605 all 8251 the detested things 0834 that 7200 were seen 0779 in the land of 3063 Judah, 0000 and 3389 in Jerusalem, 1197 burned 2977 Josiah 4616 in order that 6965 he might establish 1697 the words of 8451 the law 3789 that were written 6256 in 5612 the book 0834 that 4672 had found 2518 Hilkiah 3548 the priest 1004 {in} the house of 3068 Yahweh.
23:25 [cbb5] 在約西亞以前、沒有王像他盡心盡性盡力的歸向耶和華、遵行摩西的一切律法．在他以後、也沒有興起一個王像他。
    [kjv] And like unto him was there no king before him, that turned to the LORD with all his heart, and with all his soul, and with all his might, according to all the law of Moses; neither after him arose there any like him.
    [strongs] 3644 And like him 3808 not 1961 was 6440 before him 4428 a king 0834 who 7725 turned 0413 to 3068 Yahweh 3605 with all 3820 his heart, 3605 and with all 5315 his soul, 3605 and with all 3966 his strength, 3605 as to all 8452 the law of 4872 Moses. 0310 And after him 3808 none 6965 rose up 3664 like him.
23:26 [cbb5] 然而耶和華向猶大所發猛烈的怒氣、仍不止息、是因瑪拿西諸事惹動他。
    [kjv] Notwithstanding the LORD turned not from the fierceness of his great wrath, wherewith his anger was kindled against Judah, because of all the provocations that Manasseh had provoked him withal.
    [strongs] 0389 Only, 3808 not 7725 did turn away 3068 Yahweh 2740 from the fury of 0639 His anger 1419 great 0834 with which 1197 burned 0639 His anger 3063 against Judah, 5921 for 3605 all 3708 the vexations 0834 with which 3707 had provoked Him 4519 Manasseh.
23:27 [cbb5] 耶和華說、我必將猶大人從我面前趕出、如同趕出以色列人一般．我必棄掉我從前所選擇的這城耶路撒冷、和我所說立我名的殿。
    [kjv] And the LORD said, I will remove Judah also out of my sight, as I have removed Israel, and will cast off this city Jerusalem which I have chosen, and the house of which I said, My name shall be there.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3068 Yahweh, 1571 also 3063 Judah 5493 I will turn 5921 from 6440 My face 0834 as 5493 I have turned away 3478 Israel, 3993 and I will reject 5892 city 0000 this 0834 that 0977 I have chosen, 3389 Jerusalem, 0000 and 1004 the house 0834 {of} which 0559 I have said, 1961 will be 8034 My name 8033 there.
23:28 [cbb5] 約西亞其餘的事、凡他所行的、都寫在猶大列王記上。
    [kjv] Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?
    [strongs] 3499 And the rest of 1697 the acts of 2977 Josiah, 3605 and all 0834 that 6213 he did, 3808 not 1992 they 3789 are written 6256 in 5612 the Book of 1697 the Matters 3117 of the Days 4428 of the Kings 3063 of Judah?
23:29 [cbb5] 約西亞年間、埃及王法老尼哥上到伯拉河、攻擊亞述王．約西亞王去抵擋他．埃及王遇見約西亞在米吉多、就殺了他。
    [kjv] In his days Pharaohnechoh king of Egypt went up against the king of Assyria to the river Euphrates: and king Josiah went against him; and he slew him at Megiddo, when he had seen him.
    [strongs] 3117 In his days 5927 came up 6549 Pharaoh-Necho 4428 the king of 4714 Egypt 0413 against 4428 the king of 0804 Assyria, 5104 by the River 6576 Euphrates. 3212 And went out 4428 King 2977 Josiah 7125 to meet him 4191 and he killed him 4023 in Megiddo, 7200 when he saw 0000 him.
23:30 [cbb5] 他的臣僕、用車將他的屍首從米吉多送到耶路撒冷、葬在他自己的墳墓裡。國民膏約西亞的兒子約哈斯、接續他父親作王。
    [kjv] And his servants carried him in a chariot dead from Megiddo, and brought him to Jerusalem, and buried him in his own sepulchre. And the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and anointed him, and made him king in his father's stead.
    [strongs] 7392 And carried him by chariot 5650 his servants 4191 dead 4023 from Megiddo, 0935 and took him 3389 {to} Jerusalem, 6912 and buried him 6913 in his own grave. 3947 And took 5971 the people of 0776 the land 3059 Jehoahaz 1121 the son of 2977 Josiah 4899 and anointed 0000 him, 4427 and made king 0000 him 8478 in place of 0001 his father.
23:31 [cbb5] 約哈斯登基的時候、年二十三歲．在耶路撒冷作王三個月．他母親名叫哈慕他、是立拿人耶利米的女兒。
    [kjv] Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign; and he reigned three months in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal, the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
    [strongs] 1121 A son of 6242 twenty- 7967 and three 8141 years 3059 Jehoahaz {was} 4428 when he became king 7967 and three 3391 months 4427 he ruled 3389 in Jerusalem. 8034 And name 0517 his mother's 2537 Hamuta 1323 the daughter of 3414 Jeremiah 3841 of Libnah.
23:32 [cbb5] 約哈斯行耶和華眼中看為惡的事、效法他列祖一切所行的。
    [kjv] And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his fathers had done.
    [strongs] 6213 And he did 7451 the evil 5869 in the eyes of 3068 Yahweh, 3605 by all 0834 that 6213 did 0001 his forefathers.
23:33 [cbb5] 法老尼哥將約哈斯鎖禁在哈馬地的利比拉、不許他在耶路撒冷作王．又罰猶大國銀子一百他連得、金子一他連得。
    [kjv] And Pharaohnechoh put him in bands at Riblah in the land of Hamath, that he might not reign in Jerusalem; and put the land to a tribute of an hundred talents of silver, and a talent of gold.
    [strongs] 0000 And 0631 bound him 6549 Pharaoh-Necho 7247 in Riblah 0779 in the land of 2574 Hamath, 4427 from ruling 3389 in Jerusalem, 5414 and he exacted 6066 a fine 5921 on 0776 the land, 3967 a hundred 0366 talents of 3701 silver 3603 and a talent of 2091 gold.
23:34 [cbb5] 法老尼哥立約西亞的兒子以利亞敬接續他父親約西亞作王、給他改名叫約雅敬、卻將約哈斯帶到埃及、他就死在那裡。
    [kjv] And Pharaohnechoh made Eliakim the son of Josiah king in the room of Josiah his father, and turned his name to Jehoiakim, and took Jehoahaz away: and he came to Egypt, and died there.
    [strongs] 4427 And made king 6549 Pharoah-Necho 0471 Eliakim 1121 the son of 2977 Josiah 8478 instead 2977 Josiah 0001 his father, 5437 and turned 8034 his name 3079 to Jehoiakim. 0000 And 3059 Jehoahaz, 3947 he took away 0935 and he came 4714 to Egypt 4191 and died 8033 there.
