3:1 [cbb5] 猶大王約沙法十八年、亞哈的兒子約蘭在撒瑪利亞登基、作了以色列王十二年。
    [kjv] Now Jehoram the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned twelve years.
    [strongs] 3088 And Jehoram 1121 the son of 0256 Ahab 4427 ruled 5921 over 3478 Israel, 8111 in Samaria, 8141 in the year 8083 - 6240 eighteenth 3092 of Jehoshaphat 4428 the king of 3063 Judah, 4427 and he ruled 8147 two 6240 {and} ten 8141 years.
3:2 [cbb5] 他行耶和華眼中看為惡的事、但不至像他父母所行的、因為除掉他父所造巴力的柱像。
    [kjv] And he wrought evil in the sight of the LORD; but not like his father, and like his mother: for he put away the image of Baal that his father had made.
    [strongs] 6213 And he did 7451 the evil 5869 in the eyes of 3068 Yahweh, 7535 only 3808 not 0001 like his father 0517 and his mother 5498 for he turned away 5982 the pillar of 1168 Baal 0834 that 6213 had made 0001 his father.
3:3 [cbb5] 然而他貼近尼八的兒子耶羅波安使以色列人陷在罪裡的那罪、總不離開。
    [kjv] Nevertheless he cleaved unto the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, which made Israel to sin; he departed not therefrom.
    [strongs] 7535 Only 2403 to the sins of 3379 Jeroboam 1121 the son of 5028 Nebat, 0834 who 2398 made to sin 3478 Israel 1692 he clung 3808 not 5493 he did turn aside 4480 from it.
3:4 [cbb5] 摩押王米沙牧養許多羊．每年將十萬羊羔的毛、和十萬公綿羊的毛、給以色列王進貢。
    [kjv] And Mesha king of Moab was a sheepmaster, and rendered unto the king of Israel an hundred thousand lambs, and an hundred thousand rams, with the wool.
    [strongs] 4338 And Mesha 4428 the king of 4124 Moab 1961 was 5349 a sheep breeder 7725 and he paid 3478 to the king of Israel 3967 a hundred 0505 thousand 3733 lambs 3967 and a hundred 0505 thousand 0352 rams 6785 the wool of.
3:5 [cbb5] 亞哈死後、摩押王背叛以色列王。
    [kjv] But it came to pass, when Ahab was dead, that the king of Moab rebelled against the king of Israel.

    [kjv] And king Jehoram went out of Samaria the same time, and numbered all Israel.

3:7 [cbb5] 前行的時候、差人去見猶大王約沙法、說、摩押王背叛我．你肯同我去攻打摩押麼。他說、我肯上去．你我不分彼此、我的民與你的民一樣、我的馬與你的馬一樣。
    [kjv] And he went and sent to Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, saying, The king of Moab hath rebelled against me: wilt thou go with me against Moab to battle? And he said, I will go up: I am as thou art, my people as thy people, and my horses as thy horses.
    [strongs] 1980 And he went 7971 and sent 0413 to 3092 Jehoshaphat 4428 the king of 3063 Judah, 0559 saying, 4428 The king of 4124 Moab 6586 has rebelled 0000 against me. 1980 Will you go 0000 with me 0413 to 4124 Moab 4421 for battle? 0559 And he said 5927 I will go up. 3644 I {am} 3644 as you. 5971 My people 5971 as your people. 5483 My horses 5483 as your horses.
3:8 [cbb5] 約蘭說、我們從那條路上去呢。回答說、從以東曠野的路上去。
    [kjv] And he said, Which way shall we go up? And he answered, The way through the wilderness of Edom.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said, 0834 Which 1870 way 5927 will we go up? 0559 And he said, 1870 the way of 4057 the Desert of 0123 Edom.
3:9 [cbb5] 於是以色列王、和猶大王、並以東王、都一同去繞行七日的路程．軍隊和所帶的牲畜沒有水喝。
    [kjv] So the king of Israel went, and the king of Judah, and the king of Edom: and they fetched a compass of seven days' journey: and there was no water for the host, and for the cattle that followed them.
    [strongs] 1980 And went 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 4428 and the king of 3063 Judah, 4428 and the king of 0123 Edom. 5437 They circled 1870 the way 7651 seven 3117 days 3808 and no 1961 there was 4325 water 4264 for the army, 0929 and for the livestock 0834 that 7272 {was} at their feet.
3:10 [cbb5] 以色列王說、哀哉、耶和華招聚我們這三王、乃要交在摩押人的手裡。
    [kjv] And the king of Israel said, Alas! that the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab!
    [strongs] 0559 And said 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 0162 Alas, 3588 for 7121 has called 3068 Yahweh 7967 three 4428 kings 0428 these 5414 to give 0000 them 3027 into the hand of 4124 Moab!
3:11 [cbb5] 約沙法說、這裡不是有耶和華的先知麼．我們可以託他求問耶和華。以色列王的一個臣子回答說、這裡有沙法的兒子以利沙、就是從前服事以利亞的。〔原文作倒水在以利亞手上的〕　　　
    [kjv] But Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD, that we may enquire of the LORD by him? And one of the king of Israel's servants answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, which poured water on the hands of Elijah.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3092 Jehoshaphat, 3808 Is not 6311 here 5030 a prophet 3068 of Yahweh, 1875 that we may inquire of 3068 Yahweh 0000 by him? 6030 And answered 0259 one 5650 of the servants 4428 the king of 3478 Israel 0559 and said, 6311 Here {is} 0477 Elisha 1121 the son of 8202 Shaphat, 0834 who 3332 poured 4325 water 3027 on the hands of 0452 Elijah.
3:12 [cbb5] 約沙法說、他必有耶和華的話。於是以色列王、和約沙法、並以東王、都下去見他。
    [kjv] And Jehoshaphat said, The word of the LORD is with him. So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat and the king of Edom went down to him.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3092 Jehoshaphat, 3426 There is 0000 with him 1697 the word of 3068 Yahweh. 1980 And went 0413 to him 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 3092 and Jehoshaphat, 4428 and the king of 0123 Edom.
3:13 [cbb5] 以利沙對以色列王說、我與你何干．去問你父親的先知、和你母親的先知罷。以色列王對他說、不要這樣說、耶和華招聚我們這三王、乃要交在摩押人的手裡。
    [kjv] And Elisha said unto the king of Israel, What have I to do with thee? get thee to the prophets of thy father, and to the prophets of thy mother. And the king of Israel said unto him, Nay: for the LORD hath called these three kings together, to deliver them into the hand of Moab.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0477 Elisha 0413 to 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 4100 What 0000 to me 0000 with you. 3212 Go 0413 to 5030 the prophets of 0001 your father, 0413 and to 5030 the prophets of 0517 your mother. 0559 And said 0000 to him 4428 the king of 3478 Israel, 0408 No, 7121 for has called 3068 Yahweh 7967 three 4428 kings 0428 these 5414 to give 0000 them 3027 into the hand of 4124 Moab.
3:14 [cbb5] 以利沙說、我指著所事奉永生的萬軍耶和華起誓、我若不看猶大王約沙法的情面、必不理你、不顧你。
    [kjv] And Elisha said, As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah, I would not look toward thee, nor see thee.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0477 Elisha, 2421 {As} lives 3068 Yahweh of 6635 armies 0834 whom 5975 I stand 6440 before Him, 3588 for 3808 if not 6440 the presence of 3092 Jehoshaphat 4428 the king of 3063 Judah 0589 I 5375 did regard, 0518 not 5027 I would look 0413 toward you, 3808 nor 7200 see you.
3:15 [cbb5] 現在你們給我找一個彈琴的來。彈琴的時候、耶和華的靈〔原文作手〕就降在以利沙身上。
    [kjv] But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.
    [strongs] 6258 And now, 7725 bring to me 5059 a minstrel. 1961 And it was, 5059 when played 5059 the minstrel, 1961 that was 5921 on him 3027 the hand of 3068 Yahweh.
3:16 [cbb5] 他便說、耶和華如此說、你們要在這谷中滿處挖溝。
    [kjv] And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said, 3541 Thus 0559 says 3068 Yahweh, 6213 Make 5158 stream-bed 2088 this 4392 full of 1356 trenches.
3:17 [cbb5] 因為耶和華如此說、你們雖不見風、不見雨、這谷必滿了水、使你們、和牲畜有水喝。
    [kjv] For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.
    [strongs] 3541 For thus 0559 says 3068 Yahweh, 3808 not 7200 You will see 7307 wind, 3808 and not 7200 will you see 1653 rain. 5158 Yet stream-bed 1931 that 4390 will be filled 4320 {with} water, 8354 so that you may drink 0859 both you 4735 and your livestock, 0929 and your animals.
3:18 [cbb5] 在耶和華眼中這還算為小事．他也必將摩押人交在你們手中。
    [kjv] And this is but a light thing in the sight of the LORD: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.
    [strongs] 7043 But is a light thing 2088 this 5869 in the eyes of 3068 Yahweh. 5414 He has given also 4124 Moab 3027 into your hand,
3:19 [cbb5] 你們必攻破一切堅城美邑、砍伐各種佳樹、塞住一切水泉、用石頭糟踏一切美田。
    [kjv] And ye shall smite every fenced city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.
    [strongs] 5221 and you will strike 3605 every 5892 city 4013 fortified, 3605 and every 5892 city 4004 choice, 3605 and every 6086 tree 2896 good 5307 you will fell, 3605 and all 4599 the fountains of 4325 water 5640 you will stop. 3605 And every 1335 piece 2896 good 3510 you will ruin 0068 with stones.
3:20 [cbb5] 次日早晨、約在獻祭的時候、有水從以東而來、遍地就滿了水。
    [kjv] And it came to pass in the morning, when the meat offering was offered, that, behold, there came water by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was 1242 in the morning 5927 when went up 4503 the food-offering 2009 that look, 4325 water 0935 came 1870 by the way of 0123 Edom, 4390 and was filled 0776 the country 0854 with 4325 water.
3:21 [cbb5] 摩押眾人聽見這三王上來、要與他們爭戰、凡能頂盔貫甲的、無論老少、盡都聚集、站在邊界上。
    [kjv] And when all the Moabites heard that the kings were come up to fight against them, they gathered all that were able to put on armour, and upward, and stood in the border.
    [strongs] 3605 And all 4124 Moab 8085 had heard 3588 that 5927 had come up 4428 the kings 3898 to fight 0000 against them, 6817 and were summoned 3605 every one 2296 {able} to gird on 2290 a girdle, 4605 and upward, 3320 and they stood 5921 by 1366 the border.
3:22 [cbb5] 次日早晨、日光照在水上、摩押人起來、看見對面水紅如血．
    [kjv] And they rose up early in the morning, and the sun shone upon the water, and the Moabites saw the water on the other side as red as blood:
    [strongs] 7925 And they rose early 1242 in the morning, 8121 and the sun 2224 shone 5921 on 4325 the water. 7200 And saw 4125 the Moabites 5048 opposite 4325 the water 0122 {as} red 1818 as blood.
3:23 [cbb5] 就說、這是血阿．必是三王互相擊殺、俱都滅亡．摩押人哪、我們現在去搶奪財物罷。
    [kjv] And they said, This is blood: the kings are surely slain, and they have smitten one another: now therefore, Moab, to the spoil.
    [strongs] 0559 And they said, 1818 Blood 2088 this is. 2717 Surely 2717 have fought one another 4428 the kings, 5221 and they struck 0376 each man 7453 his neighbor. 6258 And now 7998 to the spoil 4124 Moab!
3:24 [cbb5] 摩押人到了以色列營、以色列人就起來攻打他們、以致他們在以色列人面前逃跑．以色列人往前追殺摩押人、直殺入摩押的境內．
    [kjv] And when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and smote the Moabites, so that they fled before them: but they went forward smiting the Moabites, even in their country.
    [strongs] 0935 And they came 0413 to 4264 the camp of 3478 Israel. 6965 And rose up 3478 the Israelites 5221 and struck 4125 the Moabites. 0727 And they ran away 0644 from in front of them. 5221 And striking 5221 even they struck 4124 Moab.
3:25 [cbb5] 拆毀摩押的城邑．各人拋石填滿一切美田、塞住一切水泉、砍伐各種佳樹、只剩下吉珥哈列設的石牆．甩石的兵在四圍攻打那城。
    [kjv] And they beat down the cities, and on every good piece of land cast every man his stone, and filled it; and they stopped all the wells of water, and felled all the good trees: only in Kirharaseth left they the stones thereof; howbeit the slingers went about it, and smote it.
    [strongs] 5892 And the cities 2040 they pulled down 3605 and every 2513 piece {of land} 2896 good 7993 they cast 0376 each man 0068 his stone 4390 and filled it. 3605 And every 4599 spring of 4325 water, 5640 they stopped, 3605 and every 6086 tree 2896 good 5307 they felled 5704 until 7604 there was left 0068 its stone 7025 in Kirhareseth. 5437 But encircled 7051 the slingers 5221 and struck it.
3:26 [cbb5] 摩押王見陣勢甚大、難以對敵、就率領七百拿刀的兵、要衝過陣去到以東王那裡、卻是不能．
    [kjv] And when the king of Moab saw that the battle was too sore for him, he took with him seven hundred men that drew swords, to break through even unto the king of Edom: but they could not.
    [strongs] 7200 And when saw 4428 the king of 4124 Moab 3588 that 2388 was too strong 0000 for him 4421 the battle, 3947 then he took 0000 with him 7651 seven 3963 hundred 0376 men 8025 who drew 2719 the sword 1234 to break through 0413 to 4428 the king of 0123 Edom. 3808 And not 3201 they were able.
3:27 [cbb5] 便將那應當接續他作王的長子、在城上獻為燔祭。以色列人遭遇耶和華的大怒。〔或作招人痛恨〕於是三王離開摩押王、各回本國去了。
    [kjv] Then he took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.
    [strongs] 3947 And he took 1121 his son 1067 the firstborn 0834 who 4427 ruled 4725 in his place 5414 and gave him 5930 {for} a burning 5921 on 7023 the wall. 1961 And there was 7110 wrath 1419 great 0413 against 3478 Israel. 1980 And they left 5921 him 7725 and returned 0776 to the land.
