12:1 [cbb5] 耶和華差遣拿單去見大衛。拿單到了大衛那裡、對他說、在一座城裡有兩個人．一個是富戶、一個是窮人。
    [kjv] And the LORD sent Nathan unto David. And he came unto him, and said unto him, There were two men in one city; the one rich, and the other poor.
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 3068 Yahweh 5416 Nathan 1732 to David. 0935 And he came 0000 to him, 0559 and said 0000 to him, 8147 two 0376 men 1961 There were 5892 in city 0259 one, 0259 {the} one 6223 rich, 0259 and {the} one 7326 poor.
12:2 [cbb5] 富戶、有許多牛群羊群．
    [kjv] The rich man had exceeding many flocks and herds:
    [strongs] 6223 The rich 1961 had 6629 flocks 1241 and herds 7235 many 3966 very.
12:3 [cbb5] 窮人、除了所買來養活的一隻小母羊羔之外、別無所有．羊羔在他家裡和他兒女一同長大．喫他所喫的、喝他所喝的、睡在他懷中、在他看來如同女兒一樣。
    [kjv] But the poor man had nothing, save one little ewe lamb, which he had bought and nourished up: and it grew up together with him, and with his children; it did eat of his own meat, and drank of his own cup, and lay in his bosom, and was unto him as a daughter.
    [strongs] 7326 But the poor 0369 had nothing 3588 ex- 0518 cept 3523 ewe lamb 0259 one 6996 little 0834 which 7069 he had bought 2421 and kept alive 1430 and it grew up 5973 with him 5973 and with 1121 his sons 3162 together. 6595 Of his morsel 0398 it ate, 3565 and from his cup 8356 it drank, 2436 and in his bosom 3240 it lay. 1961 And it was 0000 to him 1323 like a daughter.
12:4 [cbb5] 有一客人來到這富戶家裡．富戶捨不得從自己的牛群羊群中、取一隻豫備給客人喫、卻取了那窮人的羊羔、豫備給客人喫。
    [kjv] And there came a traveller unto the rich man, and he spared to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to dress for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man's lamb, and dressed it for the man that was come to him.
    [strongs] 0935 And came 1982 a traveler 0376 to the man 6223 rich. 2550 And he spared 3947 to take 6629 of his own flock 1241 and of his own herd, 6213 to prepare 0732 for the traveler 0935 who had come 0000 to him. 3947 And he took 3532 the ewe lamb of 0376 the man 7326 poor, 6213 and prepared if 0376 for the man 0935 who had come 0000 to him.
12:5 [cbb5] 大衛就甚惱怒那人、對拿單說、我指著永生的耶和華起誓、行這事的人該死．
    [kjv] And David's anger was greatly kindled against the man; and he said to Nathan, As the LORD liveth, the man that hath done this thing shall surely die:
    [strongs] 2734 And glowed 0639 anger 1732 David's 0376 against the man 3966 greatly. 0559 And he said 0000 to 5416 Nathan, 2421 {As} lives 3068 Yahweh, 3588 surely 1121 a son of 4194 death {is} 0376 the man 6213 who did 2088 this.
12:6 [cbb5] 他必償還羊羔四倍、因為他行這事、沒有憐恤的心。
    [kjv] And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity.
    [strongs] 3532 And the ewe lamb 7999 he will repay 0706 fourfold 0000 because 6213 he has done 1697 thing 0000 this, 0000 and because 3808 not 2550 he had pity!
12:7 [cbb5] 拿單對大衛說、你就是那人．耶和華以色列的　神如此說、我膏你作以色列的王、救你脫離掃羅的手．
    [kjv] And Nathan said to David, Thou art the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;
    [strongs] 0559 And said 5416 Nathan 1732 to David, 0000 You {are} 0376 the man! 0000 Thus 0559 says 3068 Yahweh 0430 the God of 3478 Israel, 0595 I 4886 anointed you 4428 as king 5921 over 3478 Israel. 0595 And I 5337 delivered you 3027 from hand 7586 Saul's.
12:8 [cbb5] 我將你主人的家業賜給你、將你主人的妻交在你懷裡、又將以色列和猶大家賜給你．你若還以為不足、我早就加倍的賜給你。
    [kjv] And I gave thee thy master's house, and thy master's wives into thy bosom, and gave thee the house of Israel and of Judah; and if that had been too little, I would moreover have given unto thee such and such things.
    [strongs] 5414 And I gave 0000 to you 1004 the household of 0113 your master, 0000 and 0802 the wives of 0113 your master 2436 into your bosom. 5414 And I gave 0000 to you 1004 the household of 3478 Israel 3063 and Judah. 0000 And if 4192 too little, 3254 I would have added 0000 to you 2007 like those 2007 and like those.
12:9 [cbb5] 你為甚麼藐視耶和華的命令、行他眼中看為惡的事呢。你借亞捫人的刀、殺害赫人烏利亞、又娶了他的妻為妻。
    [kjv] Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.
    [strongs] 4100 Why 0959 have you despised 1697 the word of 3068 Yahweh, 6213 to do 7451 the evil 5869 in His eyes? 0223 Uriah 2850 the Hittite 5221 You have struck 2719 by the sword, 0000 and 0802 his wife 3947 you have taken 0000 to yourself 0802 for a wife. 0000 And him 2026 you have killed 2719 by the sword of 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon.
12:10 [cbb5] 你既藐視我、娶了赫人烏利亞的妻為妻、所以刀劍必永不離開你的家。
    [kjv] Now therefore the sword shall never depart from thine house; because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Uriah the Hittite to be thy wife.
    [strongs] 6258 And now 3808 not 5493 will turn aside 2719 {the} sword 1004 from your household 5704 until 5769 forever, 6118 because 0959 and you despised Me, 3947 and have taken 0802 the wife of 0223 Uriah 2850 the Hittite 1961 to be 0000 to you 0802 a wife.
12:11 [cbb5] 耶和華如此說、我必從你家中興起禍患攻擊你．我必在你眼前、把你的妃嬪賜給別人、他在日光之下就與他們同寢。
    [kjv] Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.
    [strongs] 3541 Thus 0559 says 3068 Yahweh, 2005 Look, I 6965 {am} raising 5921 against you 7451 evil 1004 from your household, 3947 and will take 0802 your wives 5869 before your eyes 5414 and give 7453 to your neighbor, 7901 and he will lie 0802 with your wives 5869 in the sight of 8121 sun 2088 this.
12:12 [cbb5] 你在暗中行這事、我卻要在以色列眾人面前、日光之下、報應你。
    [kjv] For thou didst it secretly: but I will do this thing before all Israel, and before the sun.
    [strongs] 3588 For 0000 you 6213 acted 5643 in secret. 0589 But I 6213 will do 1697 thing 2088 this 6440 in front of 3605 all 3478 Israel 6440 and ahead of 8121 the sun.
12:13 [cbb5] 大衛對拿單說、我得罪耶和華了．拿單說、耶和華已經除掉你的罪．你必不至於死。
    [kjv] And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the LORD. And Nathan said unto David, The LORD also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 1732 David 5416 to Nathan, 2398 I have sinned 3068 against Yahweh. 0559 And said 5416 Nathan 0000 to 1732 David, 1571 Also 3068 Yahweh 5674 has put away 2403 your sin. 3808 not 4191 You will die.
12:14 [cbb5] 只是你行這事、叫耶和華的仇敵大得褻瀆的機會、故此你所得的孩子、必定要死。
    [kjv] Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.
    [strongs] 0657 Only 3588 because 5006 surely 5006 you have caused to scorn 0341 enemies 3068 Yahweh's 1697 by thing 2088 this, 1571 also 1121 the son 3209 who will be born 0000 to you 4191 surely 4191 will die.
12:15 [cbb5] 拿單就回家去了。耶和華擊打烏利亞妻給大衛所生的孩子、使他得重病。
    [kjv] And Nathan departed unto his house. And the LORD struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David, and it was very sick.
    [strongs] 1980 And went 5416 Nathan 0000 to 1004 his house, 5221 and struck 3068 Yahweh 5288 the boy 0834 whom 3205 had given birth to 0802 the wife of 0223 Uriah 1732 to David, 0605 and he became sick.
12:16 [cbb5] 所以大衛為這孩子懇求　神、而且禁食、進入內室、終夜躺在地上。
    [kjv] David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted, and went in, and lay all night upon the earth.
    [strongs] 1245 And sought 1732 David 0430 God 3588 for 3206 the child. 6684 And fasted 1732 David 6685 a fast, 0935 and went in 3885 and stayed the night 7901 and lay 0776 on the earth.
12:17 [cbb5] 他家中的老臣來到他旁邊、要把他從地上扶起來．他卻不肯起來、也不同他們喫飯。
    [kjv] And the elders of his house arose, and went to him, to raise him up from the earth: but he would not, neither did he eat bread with them.
    [strongs] 6965 And arose 2205 the elders of 1004 his household 5921 toward him, 6965 to raise him up 0000 from 0776 the earth 3808 but not 0014 he was willing. 3808 And not 0398 he ate 0000 with them 3899 food.
12:18 [cbb5] 到第七日、孩子死了。大衛的臣僕不敢告訴他孩子死了、因他們說、孩子還活著的時候、我們勸他、他尚且不肯聽我們的話、若告訴他孩子死了、豈不更加憂傷麼。
    [kjv] And it came to pass on the seventh day, that the child died. And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead?
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 3117 on the day 7637 seventh 4191 that died 5288 the boy. 3372 And feared 5650 the servants of 1732 David 5046 to tell 0000 him 0000 that 4191 was dead 5288 the boy, 3588 for 0559 they said, 2009 Listen, 1961 while was 3206 the child 2416 alive, 1696 we spoke 0000 to him, 3808 and not 8085 he would listen 6963 to our voice. 0389 And how 0559 will we say 0000 to him, 4191 Is dead 5288 the boy? 6213 Then he may do 7451 harm.
12:19 [cbb5] 大衛見臣僕彼此低聲說話、就知道孩子死了．問臣僕說、孩子死了麼．他們說、死了。
    [kjv] But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead.
    [strongs] 7200 And saw 1732 David 0000 that 5650 his servants 3907 {were} whispering to each other, 0995 and understood 1732 David 4191 that was dead 5288 the boy. 0559 And said 1732 David 0000 to 5650 his servants, 4191 Is dead 5288 the boy? 0559 And they said, 4191 He is dead.
12:20 [cbb5] 大衛就從地上起來、沐浴、抹膏、換了衣裳．進耶和華的殿敬拜．然後回宮．吩咐人擺飯、他便喫了。
    [kjv] Then David arose from the earth, and washed, and anointed himself, and changed his apparel, and came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped: then he came to his own house; and when he required, they set bread before him, and he did eat.
    [strongs] 6965 And arose 1732 David 0776 from the earth, 7364 and washed 5480 and anointed. 2498 And {he} changed 8071 his clothing, 0935 and came into 1004 the house of 3068 Yahweh 7812 and worshiped, 0935 and came 0000 to 1004 his house, 7592 and asked, 6186 and they set 0000 for him 3899 food, 0398 and he ate.
12:21 [cbb5] 臣僕問他說、你所行的是甚麼意思．孩子活著的時候、你禁食哭泣．孩子死了、你倒起來喫飯。
    [kjv] Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 5650 his servants 0000 to him, 4100 What {is} 1697 thing 0000 this 0834 which 6213 you have done? 5668 For the sake of 5288 the boy 2416 living, 6684 you fasted 1058 and wept, 0834 but when 4191 is dead 5288 the boy, 6965 you have risen 0398 and eaten 3899 food?
12:22 [cbb5] 大衛說、孩子還活著、我禁食哭泣、因為我想、或者耶和華憐恤我、使孩子不死、也未可知。
    [kjv] And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live?
    [strongs] 0559 And he said, 0000 While 5288 the boy 2416 {was} alive 6684 I fasted 1058 and wept, 3588 for 0559 I said, 4310 Who 3045 knows, 2603 may pity me 3068 Yahweh 2416 and {stay} alive 5288 the boy.
12:23 [cbb5] 孩子死了我何必禁食．我豈能使他返回呢。我必往他那裡去、他卻不能回我這裡來。
    [kjv] But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.
    [strongs] 6258 And now 4191 he has died. 4100 Why 2088 this {that} 0589 I 6684 should fast? 3201 Am I able 7725 to bring him back 5750 again? 0935 I will go 0000 to him, 1931 but he 3808 not 7725 will return 0413 to me.
12:24 [cbb5] 大衛安慰他的妻拔示巴、與他同寢、他就生了兒子、給他起名叫所羅門。耶和華也喜愛他．
    [kjv] And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the LORD loved him.
    [strongs] 5162 And comforted 1732 David 1339 Bathsheba 0802 his wife, 0935 and went in 0000 to her 7901 and lay 0000 with her. 3205 And she gave birth to 1121 a son, 7121 and he called 8034 his name 8010 Solomon. 3068 And Yahweh 0157 loved him,
12:25 [cbb5] 就藉先知拿單賜他一個名字叫耶底底亞、因為耶和華愛他。
    [kjv] And he sent by the hand of Nathan the prophet; and he called his name Jedidiah, because of the LORD.
    [strongs] 7971 and sent 3027 by the hand of 5416 Nathan 5030 the prophet, 7121 and called 8034 his name 3041 Jedadiah, 0000 because of 3068 Yahweh.
12:26 [cbb5] 約押攻取亞捫人的京城拉巴。
    [kjv] And Joab fought against Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and took the royal city.
    [strongs] 3898 And fought 3097 Joab 7237 against Rabbah of 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon, 3920 and captured 5892 the city 4410 royal.
12:27 [cbb5] 約押打發使者去見大衛、說、我攻打拉巴、取其水城。
    [kjv] And Joab sent messengers to David, and said, I have fought against Rabbah, and have taken the city of waters.
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 3097 Joab 4397 messengers 1732 to David, 0559 and said, 3898 I have fought 7237 against Rabbah, 1571 also 3920 I have captured 5892 the city of 4325 waters.
12:28 [cbb5] 現在你要聚集其餘的軍兵來、安營圍攻這城．恐怕我取了這城、人就以我的名叫這城。
    [kjv] Now therefore gather the rest of the people together, and encamp against the city, and take it: lest I take the city, and it be called after my name.
    [strongs] 6258 And now, 0622 gather 3499 the rest of 5971 the people, 2583 and encamp 0413 against 5892 the city 3920 and seize it. 6435 Lest 0270 seize 0589 I 5892 the city 7121 and be called 8034 my name 5921 over it.
12:29 [cbb5] 於是大衛聚集眾軍、往拉巴去攻城、就取了這城。
    [kjv] And David gathered all the people together, and went to Rabbah, and fought against it, and took it.
    [strongs] 0622 And gathered 1732 David 3605 all 5971 the people, 1980 and went 7237 to Rabbah. 3898 And fought 0000 against it, 3920 and captured it.
12:30 [cbb5] 奪了亞捫人之王所戴的金冠冕．〔王或作瑪勒堪瑪勒堪即米勒公又名摩洛亞捫族之神名〕其上的金子、重一他連得、又嵌著寶石．人將這冠冕戴在大衛頭上。大衛從城裡奪了許多財物。
    [kjv] And he took their king's crown from off his head, the weight whereof was a talent of gold with the precious stones: and it was set on David's head. And he brought forth the spoil of the city in great abundance.
    [strongs] 3947 And he took 5850 the crown of 4428 their king 5921 from off 7218 his head, 4948 and its weight {was} 3603 a talent of 2091 gold, 0068 and a stone 3368 precious {in it}. 1961 And it was {set} 0000 on 7218 head 1732 David's 7998 and the spoil of 5892 the city 3318 he brought out 7235 in abundance 1419 great.
12:31 [cbb5] 將城裡的人、拉出來放在鋸下、或鐵耙下、或鐵斧下、或叫他經過磚兠．〔或作強他們用鋸或用打糧食的鐵器或用鐵斧作工或使在磚兠裡服役〕大衛待亞捫各城的居民、都是如此。其後大衛和眾軍都回耶路撒冷去了。
    [kjv] And he brought forth the people that were therein, and put them under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brick-kiln: and thus did he unto all the cities of the children of Ammon. So David and all the people returned unto Jerusalem.
    [strongs] 5971 And the people 0000 who {were} 0000 in it 3318 he brought out 7760 and put {them} 4050 to the saw 2757 and to the sharp tools of 1170 iron, 4037 and to axes of 1170 iron, 5674 and caused to go over 0000 them 4404 into the brick-kiln. 3651 And so 6213 he did 3605 to all 5892 the cities of 5983 Ammon. 7725 And returned 1732 David 3605 and all 5971 the people 3389 to Jerusalem.
