14:1 [cbb5] 洗魯雅的兒子約押、知道王心裡想念押沙龍、
    [kjv] Now Joab the son of Zeruiah perceived that the king's heart was toward Absalom.
    [strongs] 3645 And knew 3097 Joab 1121 the son of 6870 Zeruiah 0000 that 3820 the heart of 4428 the king 0000 {was} on 0053 Absalom.
14:2 [cbb5] 就打發人往提哥亞去、從那裡叫了一個聰明的婦人來、對他說、請你假裝居喪的、穿上孝衣、不要用膏抹身、要裝作為死者許久悲哀的婦人．
    [kjv] And Joab sent to Tekoah, and fetched thence a wise woman, and said unto her, I pray thee, feign thyself to be a mourner, and put on now mourning apparel, and anoint not thyself with oil, but be as a woman that had a long time mourned for the dead:
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 3097 Joab 8620 to Tekoah 3947 and took 8033 from there 0802 a woman 2450 wise, 0559 and said 0000 to her, 0056 Pretend to be a mourner 4994 now, 3847 and put on 4994 please 0899 garments of 0056 mourning, 0408 and not 5480 do anoint yourself 8081 with oil. 1961 And you will be 0802 as a woman 2088 who 3117 days 7227 many 0056 {has been} mourning 3588 for 4191 the dead.
14:3 [cbb5] 進去見王、對王如此如此說。於是約押將當說的話教導了婦人。
    [kjv] And come to the king, and speak on this manner unto him. So Joab put the words in her mouth.
    [strongs] 1980 And you will go 0000 to 4428 the king 1696 and speak 0000 with him, 1697 according to word 0000 this. 7760 And put 3097 Joab 1697 the words 6310 into her mouth.
14:4 [cbb5] 提哥亞婦人到王面前、伏地叩拜、說、王阿、求你拯救。
    [kjv] And when the woman of Tekoah spake to the king, she fell on her face to the ground, and did obeisance, and said, Help, O king.
    [strongs] 1696 And spoke 0802 the woman 8621 Tekoathite 0000 to 4428 the king, 5307 and fell 0000 on 6440 her face 0776 to the earth 7812 and bowed 0559 and said, 3467 Save, 4428 O king!
14:5 [cbb5] 王問他說、你有甚麼事呢．回答說、婢女實在是寡婦、我丈夫死了。
    [kjv] And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, I am indeed a widow woman, and mine husband is dead.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0000 to her 4428 the king, 0000 What {will be} 0000 to you? 0559 And she said, 0552 Truly 0802 a woman 0490 widow 0589 I {am} 4191 and died 0376 my husband,
14:6 [cbb5] 我有兩個兒子、一日在田間爭鬥、沒有人解勸．這個就打死那個。
    [kjv] And thy handmaid had two sons, and they two strove together in the field, and there was none to part them, but the one smote the other, and slew him.
    [strongs] 8198 and your servant had 8147 two 1121 sons. 5317 And fought 8147 two of them 7704 in the field, 0369 and there was no 5337 deliverer 0996 between them. 5221 And struck 0259 the one 0259 the other, 2026 and killed 0000 him.
14:7 [cbb5] 現在全家的人都起來攻擊婢女、說、你將那打死兄弟的交出來、我們好治死他、償他打死兄弟的命、滅絕那承受家業的。這樣、他們要將我剩下的炭火滅盡、不與我丈夫留名留後在世上。
    [kjv] And, behold, the whole family is risen against thine handmaid, and they said, Deliver him that smote his brother, that we may kill him, for the life of his brother whom he slew; and we will destroy the heir also: and so they shall quench my coal which is left, and shall not leave to my husband neither name nor remainder upon the earth.
    [strongs] 2009 And listen, 5927 has risen 3605 the whole 4940 family 0413 against 5650 your servant, 0559 and said, 5414 Give up 5221 the one who struck down 0251 his brother, 4191 and we will kill him 5365 for the life of 0251 his brother 0834 whom 2026 he has killed 8045 and we will destroy 1571 also 3423 the heir. 3518 And they will quench 1513 my coal 0834 which 3498 is left, 1097 so as not 7760 to set 0376 to my husband 8034 a name 7611 and remnant 6440 on the surface of 0776 the earth.
14:8 [cbb5] 王對婦人說、你回家去罷、我必為你下令。
    [kjv] And the king said unto the woman, Go to thine house, and I will give charge concerning thee.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 4428 the king 0000 to 0802 the woman, 1980 Go 1004 to your house, 0589 and I 6680 will command 5921 concerning you.
14:9 [cbb5] 提哥亞婦人又對王說、我主我王、願這罪歸我、和我父家、與王和王的位無干。
    [kjv] And the woman of Tekoah said unto the king, My lord, O king, the iniquity be on me, and on my father's house: and the king and his throne be guiltless.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0802 the woman 8621 Tekoathite 0000 to 4428 the king, 0000 On me, 0113 my lord, 4428 O king, 5771 let the iniquity {be} 0000 and on 1004 the household of 0001 my forefather. 4428 And the king 3178 and his throne 5355 {will be} guiltless.
14:10 [cbb5] 王說、凡難為你的、你就帶他到我這裡來、他必不再攪擾你。
    [kjv] And the king said, Whoever saith ought unto thee, bring him to me, and he shall not touch thee any more.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 4428 the king, 1696 Whoever speaks 0000 to you, 0935 you also will bring him 0000 to me, 3808 then not 3254 he will any 5750 more 5060 touch 0000 you.
14:11 [cbb5] 婦人說、願王記念耶和華你的　神、不許報血仇的人施行滅絕、恐怕他們滅絕我的兒子。王說、我指著永生的耶和華起誓、你的兒子、連一根頭髮也不至落在地上。
    [kjv] Then said she, I pray thee, let the king remember the LORD thy God, that thou wouldest not suffer the revengers of blood to destroy any more, lest they destroy my son. And he said, As the LORD liveth, there shall not one hair of thy son fall to the earth.
    [strongs] 0559 And she said, 2142 let remember 4994 Please 4428 the king 3068 Yahweh 0430 your God 7235 continuing from 1350 the avenger of 1818 blood 7843 to destroy that 3808 and not 8045 they may destroy 1121 my son. 0559 And he said, 2421 {As} lives 3068 Yahweh 3808 not 5307 will fall 8185 one hair of 1121 your son 0776 to the earth.
14:12 [cbb5] 婦人說、求我主我王、容婢女再說一句話．王說、你說罷。
    [kjv] Then the woman said, Let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak one word unto my lord the king. And he said, Say on.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0802 the woman, 1696 let speak 4994 Please 5650 your servant 0000 to 0113 my lord, 4428 the king, 1697 a word. 0559 And he said, 1696 Speak.
14:13 [cbb5] 婦人說、王為何也起意要害　神的民呢．王不使那逃亡的人回來．王的這話、就是自證己錯了。
    [kjv] And the woman said, Wherefore then hast thou thought such a thing against the people of God? for the king doth speak this thing as one which is faulty, in that the king doth not fetch home again his banished.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0802 the woman, 4100 And why 2803 have you planned 0000 thus 5971 against the people of 0430 God? 1696 Yea, is speaking 4428 the king 1697 thing 0000 this 0818 as a guilty one, 3808 in that not 7725 has brought back 4428 the king 5080 his outcast one.
14:14 [cbb5] 我們都是必死的、如同水潑在地上、不能收回．　神並不奪取人的性命、乃設法使逃亡的人不至成為趕出回不來的。
    [kjv] For we must needs die, and are as water spilt on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again; neither doth God respect any person: yet doth he devise means, that his banished be not expelled from him.
    [strongs] 3588 For 4191 surely 4191 we do die, 4325 and {are} as water 5064 which is spilled 0776 on the ground 0834 which 3808 cannot 0622 be gathered up. 3808 And not 5375 does take 0430 God 5315 a life, 2803 but has planned 4384 plans 1115 so that not 5080 is cast out 0000 from Him 5080 the outcast.
14:15 [cbb5] 我來將這話告訴我主我王、是因百姓使我懼怕．婢女想、不如將這話告訴王．或者王成就婢女所求的。
    [kjv] Now therefore that I am come to speak of this thing unto my lord the king, it is because the people have made me afraid: and thy handmaid said, I will now speak unto the king; it may be that the king will perform the request of his handmaid.
    [strongs] 6258 And now 0000 that 3381 I have come 1696 to speak 0000 to 4428 the king. 0113 my lord. 1697 word 0000 this because 3372 made me afraid 5971 the people. 0559 And said, 5650 your servant, 1696 Let me speak 4994 now 0413 to 4428 the king. 0194 Perhaps 6213 will do 4428 the king 1697 the word of 5650 his servant.
14:16 [cbb5] 人要將我和我兒子、從　神的地業上一同除滅．王必應允救我脫離他的手．
    [kjv] For the king will hear, to deliver his handmaid out of the hand of the man that would destroy me and my son together out of the inheritance of God.
    [strongs] 3588 For 8085 has listened 4428 the king 0346 to deliver 5650 his servant 3709 out of the hand of 0376 the man 8045 {seeking} to destroy 0000 me 0000 and 1121 my son 3162 together 5059 out of their inheritance of 0430 God.
14:17 [cbb5] 婢女又想我主我王的話必安慰我．因為我主我王能辨別是非、如同　神的使者一樣．惟願耶和華你的　神與你同在。
    [kjv] Then thine handmaid said, The word of my lord the king shall now be comfortable: for as an angel of God, so is my lord the king to discern good and bad: therefore the LORD thy God will be with thee.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 5650 your servant, 1961 let be 4994 Please 1697 the word of 0113 my lord, 4428 the king, 4496 for rest. 3588 For 4397 as a messenger of 0430 God, 0000 so {is} 0113 my lord, 4428 the king, 8085 to understand 2896 the good 7451 and the bad. 3068 And Yahweh 0430 your God 1961 will be 0000 with you.
14:18 [cbb5] 王對婦人說、我要問你一句話、你一點不要瞞我。婦人說、願我主我王說。
    [kjv] Then the king answered and said unto the woman, Hide not from me, I pray thee, the thing that I shall ask thee. And the woman said, Let my lord the king now speak.
    [strongs] 6030 And answered 4428 the king 0559 and said 0413 to 0802 the woman, 0408 not 4994 Please 3582 do hide 0000 from me 1697 the thing 0000 that 0595 I 7592 am asking 0000 you. 0559 And said 0802 the woman, 1696 let speak 4994 Please 0113 my lord, 4428 the king.
14:19 [cbb5] 王說、你這些話莫非是約押的主意麼。婦人說、我敢在我主我王面前起誓、王的話正對、不偏左右．是王的僕人約押吩咐我的、這些話是他教導我的。
    [kjv] And the king said, Is not the hand of Joab with thee in all this? And the woman answered and said, As thy soul liveth, my lord the king, none can turn to the right hand or to the left from ought that my lord the king hath spoken: for thy servant Joab, he bade me, and he put all these words in the mouth of thine handmaid:
    [strongs] 0559 And said 4428 the king, 3027 {Is} the hand of 3097 Joab 0000 with you 3605 in all 2088 this? 6030 And answered 0802 the woman 0559 and said, 2421 {As} lives 5315 your soul 0113 my lord, 4428 O king, 0376 None {will turn} 3237 to the right 0000 or 8040 to the left 3605 from all 0834 that 1696 has spoken 0113 my lord, 4428 the king. 3588 For 5650 your servant 3097 Joab, 0000 he 6680 directed me, 0000 and he 7760 put 6310 in the mouth of 5650 your servant 3605 all 1697 words 0428 these.
14:20 [cbb5] 王的僕人約押如此行、為要挽回這事、我主的智慧、卻如　神使者的智慧、能知世上一切事。
    [kjv] To fetch about this form of speech hath thy servant Joab done this thing: and my lord is wise, according to the wisdom of an angel of God, to know all things that are in the earth.
    [strongs] 5668 In order to 5437 turn about 6440 the face of 1697 the matter 6213 has done 5650 your servant 3097 Joab 1697 thing 2088 this. 0113 But my lord 2450 {is} wise, 2451 according to the wisdom of 4397 an angel of 0430 God, 3045 to know 3605 all 0834 that {is} 0776 in the land.
14:21 [cbb5] 王對約押說、我應允你這事．你可以去、把那少年人押沙龍帶回來。
    [kjv] And the king said unto Joab, Behold now, I have done this thing: go therefore, bring the young man Absalom again.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 4428 the king 0000 to 3097 Joab, 2009 Look, 4994 now, 6213 you have done 1697 thing 2088 this. 1980 Then go, 7725 bring back 5288 the young man 0053 Absalom.
14:22 [cbb5] 約押就面伏於地叩拜、祝謝於王．又說、王既應允僕人所求的、僕人今日知道在我主我王眼前蒙恩了。
    [kjv] And Joab fell to the ground on his face, and bowed himself, and thanked the king: and Joab said, To day thy servant knoweth that I have found grace in thy sight, my lord, O king, in that the king hath fulfilled the request of his servant.
    [strongs] 5307 And fell 3097 Joab 0413 on 6440 his face 0776 to the earth, 7812 and bowed 1288 and blessed 4428 the king. 0559 And said 3097 Joab, 3117 Today 3045 has known 5650 your servant 3588 that 4672 I have found 2580 grace 5869 in your eyes, 0113 my lord, 4428 O king, 0834 in that 6213 has done 4428 the king 1697 the word of 5650 his servant.
14:23 [cbb5] 於是約押起身往基述去、將押沙龍帶回耶路撒冷。
    [kjv] So Joab arose and went to Geshur, and brought Absalom to Jerusalem.
    [strongs] 6965 And arose 3097 Joab 1980 and went 1650 to Geshur, 0935 and brought 0053 Absalom 3389 to Jerusalem.
14:24 [cbb5] 王說、使他回自己家裡去、不要見我的面、押沙龍就回自己家裡去、沒有見王的面。
    [kjv] And the king said, Let him turn to his own house, and let him not see my face. So Absalom returned to his own house, and saw not the king's face.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 4428 the king, 5437 Let him turn 0413 to 1004 his house 6440 and my face 3808 not 7200 he will see. 5437 And turned 0053 Absalom 0413 to 1004 his house, 6440 and the face of 4428 the king 3808 not 7200 he did see.
14:25 [cbb5] 以色列全地之中、無人像押沙龍那樣俊美、得人的稱讚．從腳底到頭頂、毫無瑕疵。
    [kjv] But in all Israel there was none to be so much praised as Absalom for his beauty: from the sole of his foot even to the crown of his head there was no blemish in him.
    [strongs] 0053 And like Absalom 3808 not 1961 there was 0376 a man 3303 handsome 3605 in all 3478 Israel 1984 to praise 3966 greatly. 3709 From the sole of 7272 his foot 5704 even to 6936 his crown, 3808 not 1961 there was 0982 in him 3971 a blemish.
14:26 [cbb5] 他的頭髮甚重、每到年底剪髮一次．所剪下來的、按王的平稱一稱、重二百舍客勒。
    [kjv] And when he polled his head, (for it was at every year's end that he polled it: because the hair was heavy on him, therefore he polled it:) he weighed the hair of his head at two hundred shekels after the king's weight.
    [strongs] 1548 And when he cut 7218 his head {of hair}, 1961 for it was 7093 at end of 3117 days 3117 of days 0000 that 1548 he cut {it} 3588 because 3513 it was heavy 5921 on him, 1548 and he cut it 8254 and he weighed 8181 the hair of 7218 his head 3697 two hundred 8255 shekels 0068 by the weight 4428 king's.
14:27 [cbb5] 押沙龍生了三個兒子、一個女兒．女兒名叫他瑪、是個容貌俊美的女子。
    [kjv] And unto Absalom there were born three sons, and one daughter, whose name was Tamar: she was a woman of a fair countenance.
    [strongs] 3205 And were born 0053 to Absalom 7967 three 1121 sons 1323 and daughter 0259 one, 8034 and her name 8559 Tamar. 0000 She 1961 was 0802 a woman 3303 of a beautiful 4758 form.
14:28 [cbb5] 押沙龍住在耶路撒冷足有二年．沒有見王的面。
    [kjv] So Absalom dwelt two full years in Jerusalem, and saw not the king's face.
    [strongs] 3427 And lived 0053 Absalom 3389 in Jerusalem 8147 two 8141 years, 6440 and the face of 4428 the king 3808 not 7200 had seen.
14:29 [cbb5] 押沙龍打發人去叫約押來、要託他去見王．約押卻不肯來．第二次打發人去叫他、他仍不肯來．
    [kjv] Therefore Absalom sent for Joab, to have sent him to the king; but he would not come to him: and when he sent again the second time, he would not come.
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 0053 Absalom 0000 to 3097 Joab, 7971 to send 0000 him 0000 to 4428 the king. 3808 But not 0014 he was willing 0935 to come 0000 to him. 7971 And he sent 5750 again 8145 twice, 3808 and not 0014 he was willing 0935 to come.
14:30 [cbb5] 所以押沙龍對僕人說、你們看、約押有一塊田、與我的田相近、其中有大麥．你們去放火燒了。押沙龍的僕人就去放火燒了那田。
    [kjv] Therefore he said unto his servants, See, Joab's field is near mine, and he hath barley there; go and set it on fire. And Absalom's servants set the field on fire.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said 0000 to 5650 his servants, 7200 See, 2513 allotment 3097 Joab's 0413 {is} to 3027 my hand. 0000 And to him 8033 there {is} 8184 barley. 1980 Go 3341 and set it 0784 on fire. 5186 And set 5650 servants 0053 Absalom's 2513 the allotment 0784 on fire.
14:31 [cbb5] 於是約押起來、到了押沙龍家裡、問他說、你的僕人為何放火燒了我的田呢。
    [kjv] Then Joab arose, and came to Absalom unto his house, and said unto him, Wherefore have thy servants set my field on fire?
    [strongs] 6965 And arose 3097 Joab 0935 and came 0000 to 0053 Absalom, 1004 to {his} house, 0559 and said 0000 to him, 4100 Why 3341 have set 5650 your servants 2513 the allotment 0834 which {is} 0000 to me 0784 on fire?
14:32 [cbb5] 押沙龍回答約押說、我打發人去請你來、好託你去見王、替我說．我為何從基述回來呢。不如仍在那裡。現在要許我見王的面．我若有罪、任憑王殺我就是了。
    [kjv] And Absalom answered Joab, Behold, I sent unto thee, saying, Come hither, that I may send thee to the king, to say, Wherefore am I come from Geshur? it had been good for me to have been there still: now therefore let me see the king's face; and if there be any iniquity in me, let him kill me.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0053 Absalom 0000 to 3097 Joab, 2009 Listen, 7921 I sent 0000 to you, 0559 saying, 0935 Come 2008 here, 7971 and I will send 0000 you 0000 to 4428 the king, 0559 saying, 4100 Why 0935 have I come 1650 from Geshur? 2896 {It was} good 0000 for me 5750 {to be} still 0589 I 8033 there. 6258 And now 7200 let me see 6440 face 4428 the king's. 0000 And if 3426 there is 0000 in me 0817 guilt, 4191 then you will kill me.
14:33 [cbb5] 於是約押去見王、將這話奏告王．王便叫押沙龍來．押沙龍來見王、在王面前俯伏於地．王就與押沙龍親嘴。
    [kjv] So Joab came to the king, and told him: and when he had called for Absalom, he came to the king, and bowed himself on his face to the ground before the king: and the king kissed Absalom.
    [strongs] 0935 And came 3097 Joab 0000 to 4428 the king, 5046 and told 0000 him, 7121 and he called 0413 to 0053 Absalom, 0935 and he came 0413 to 4428 the king, 7812 and bowed himself 0000 to him 5921 on 6440 his face 0776 to the earth, 6440 in the presence of 4428 the king. 5401 And kissed 4428 the king 0053 Absalom.
