2:1 [cbb5] 此後、大衛問耶和華說、我上猶大的一個城去可以麼．耶和華說、可以、大衛說、我上哪一個城去呢．耶和華說、上希伯崙去。
    [kjv] And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

    [kjv] So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabal's wife the Carmelite.
    [strongs] 5927 And went up 8033 there 1732 David, 1571 and also 8147 two 0802 his wives, 0293 Ahinoam 3157 of Jezreel 0026 and Abigail 0802 the wife of 5037 Nabal 3768 of Carmel.
2:3 [cbb5] 大衛也將跟隨他的人、和他們各人的眷屬、一同帶上去、住在希伯崙的城邑中。
    [kjv] And his men that were with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.
    [strongs] 0376 And his men 0000 who {were} 0000 with him 5927 brought up 1732 David, 0376 each man 1004 and his household 3427 and they lived 5892 in the cities of 2275 Hebron.
2:4 [cbb5] 猶大人來到希伯崙、在那裡膏大衛作猶大家的王。有人告訴大衛說、葬埋掃羅的、是基列雅比人。
    [kjv] And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabeshgilead were they that buried Saul.

    [kjv] And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabeshgilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.

2:6 [cbb5] 你們既行了這事、願耶和華以慈愛誠實待你們．我也要為此厚待你們。
    [kjv] And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.
    [strongs] 6258 And now 6213 may do 3068 Yahweh 0000 with you 2617 kindness 0571 and truth. 1571 And also 0595 I 6213 will do 0000 with you 2896 good 0000 this, 0834 because 6213 you have done 1697 thing 2088 this.
2:7 [cbb5] 現在你們的主掃羅死了、猶大家已經膏我作他們的王、所以你們要剛強奮勇。
    [kjv] Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be ye valiant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah have anointed me king over them.
    [strongs] 6258 And now, 2388 let be strong 3027 your hands, 1961 and be 1121 sons of 2428 valor, 3588 for 4191 {is} dead 0113 your lord 7586 Saul, 1571 and also 0000 me 4899 anointed 1004 the household of 3063 Judah 4428 king 5921 over them.
2:8 [cbb5] 掃羅的元帥尼珥的兒子押尼珥、曾將掃羅的兒子伊施波設、帶過河到瑪哈念．
    [kjv] But Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul's host, took Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahanaim;
    [strongs] 0074 And Abner, 1121 {the} son of 5369 Ner, 8269 the chief of 6635 the army 0834 which {was} 7586 to Saul, 3947 took 0378 Ishbosheth, 1121 the son of 7586 Saul, 0000 and 5674 made him cross over 4266 {to} Mahanaim.
2:9 [cbb5] 立他作王治理基列、亞書利、耶斯列、以法蓮、便雅憫、和以色列眾人。
    [kjv] And made him king over Gilead, and over the Ashurites, and over Jezreel, and over Ephraim, and over Benjamin, and over all Israel.
    [strongs] 4427 And he made him king 0413 over 1568 Gilead, 5921 and over 0805 the Ashurites, 5921 and over 3157 Jezreel, 5921 and over 0669 Ephraim, 5921 and over 1144 Benjamin 5921 even over 3478 Israel, 3605 all of it.
2:10 [cbb5] 掃羅的兒子伊施波設登基的時候、年四十歲、作以色列王二年．惟獨猶大家歸從大衛。
    [kjv] Ishbosheth Saul's son was forty years old when he began to reign over Israel, and reigned two years. But the house of Judah followed David.
    [strongs] 1121 A son of 0705 forty 8141 years 0378 {was} Ishbosheth, 1121 the son of 7586 Saul, 4427 when he ruled 5921 over 3478 Israel. 8147 And two 8141 years 4427 he ruled 0389 but 1004 the household of 3063 Judah 1961 was 0310 following after 1732 David.
2:11 [cbb5] 大衛在希伯崙作猶大家的王、共七年零六個月。
    [kjv] And the time that David was king in Hebron over the house of Judah was seven years and six months.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was 4557 the number of 3117 days 0834 that 1961 was 1732 David 4428 king 2275 in Hebron 5921 over 1004 the household of 3063 Judah 7651 seven 8141 years 8337 and six 3391 months.

    [kjv] And Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ishbosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.
    [strongs] 5927 And went out 0074 Abner 1121 the son of 5369 Ner, 5650 and servants 0378 Ishbosheth's 1121 the son of 7586 Saul, 4266 from Mahanaim 1391 to Gibeon.
2:13 [cbb5] 洗魯雅的兒子約押、和大衛的僕人也出來、在基遍池旁與他們相遇．一班坐在池這邊、一班坐在池那邊。
    [kjv] And Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool.
    [strongs] 3097 And Joab 1121 the son of 6870 Zeruiah 5650 and servants 1732 David's 5927 went out. 6298 And they met them 5921 by 1295 the pool of 1391 Gibeon 3162 together. 3427 And sat down, 0428 these 5921 by 1295 the pool 2088 on this {side} 0428 and these 5921 by 1295 the pool 2088 on that {side}.
2:14 [cbb5] 押尼珥對約押說、讓少年人起來、在我們面前戲耍罷．約押說、可以．
    [kjv] And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0074 Abner 3097 to Joab, 6965 Let up rise 4994 now 5288 the young men 7832 and make sport 6440 in front of us. 0559 And said 3097 Joab, 6965 Let them arise!
2:15 [cbb5] 就按著定數起來、屬掃羅兒子伊施波設的便雅憫人過去十二名、大衛的僕人也過去十二名。
    [kjv] Then there arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained to Ishbosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David.
    [strongs] 6965 And they rose up 5674 and passed over 4557 by number: 8147 twelve 6240 - 1144 for Benjamin 0000 and 0378 for Ishbosheth 1121 the son of 7586 Saul, 8147 and twelve 6240 - 5650 of the servants of 1732 David.
2:16 [cbb5] 彼此揪頭、用刀刺肋、一同仆倒．所以那地叫作希利甲哈素林、就在基遍。
    [kjv] And they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow's side; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called Helkathhazzurim, which is in Gibeon.
    [strongs] 3423 And seized 0376 each man 7218 the head of 7453 his companion, 2719 and his sword 6654 into the side of 7453 his companion. 6915 And they fell 3162 together. 7121 And {one} called 4725 place 1931 that 7704 the Field of 6697 Rocks, 0834 which {is} 1391 in Gibeon.
2:17 [cbb5] 那日的戰事兇猛、押尼珥和以色列人、敗在大衛的僕人面前。
    [kjv] And there was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David.
    [strongs] 1961 And was 4421 the battle 7168 hard 3966 very much 3117 on day 1931 that, 5221 and were beaten 0074 Abner 0376 and the men of 3478 Israel 6440 in front of 5650 the servants of 1732 David.
2:18 [cbb5] 在那裡有洗魯雅的三個兒子、約押、亞比篩、亞撒黑．亞撒黑腳快如野鹿一般。
    [kjv] And there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe.
    [strongs] 1961 And were 8033 there 7967 three 1121 sons of 6870 Zeruiah, 3097 Joab, 0052 and Abishai, 6214 and Asahel. 6214 And Asahel 7031 {was} swift 7272 with his feet 0259 like one of 6643 the gazelles 0834 which {is} 7704 in the field.
2:19 [cbb5] 亞撒黑追趕押尼珥、直追趕他不偏左右。
    [kjv] And Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following Abner.
    [strongs] 7291 And pursued 6214 Ashael 0310 after 0074 Abner, 5186 and did not turn 1980 to go 0000 to 2477 the right 0000 or to 8040 the left 0310 from following after 0074 Abner.
2:20 [cbb5] 押尼珥回頭說、你是亞撒黑麼、回答說、是。
    [kjv] Then Abner looked behind him, and said, Art thou Asahel? And he answered, I am.
    [strongs] 7200 And looked 0074 Abner 5462 behind him 0559 and said, 0000 you 2988 {Is} this, 6214 O Asahel? 0559 And he said, 0595 {It is} I.
2:21 [cbb5] 押尼珥對他說、你或轉向左、轉向右、拿住一個少年人、剝去他的戰衣．亞撒黑卻不肯轉開不追趕他。
    [kjv] And Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0000 to him 0074 Abner, 5186 Turn 0000 yourself 0000 to 3225 your right 0000 or 0000 to 8040 your left, 0270 and seize 0000 for yourself 0259 one 5288 of the young men, 0394 and take 0000 for yourself 7998 his spoil. 3808 But not 2974 was willing 6214 Asahel 5493 to turn aside 0310 from following him.
2:22 [cbb5] 押尼珥又對亞撒黑說、你轉開不追趕我罷、我何必殺你呢．若殺你、有甚麼臉見你哥哥約押呢。
    [kjv] And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother?
    [strongs] 3254 And again 5750 yet 0074 Abner 0559 said 6214 to Asahel, 5493 Turn aside 0000 yourself 0310 from following me. 0522 Why should I strike you 0776 to the ground? 0349 And how 5375 will I lift 6440 my face 0000 to 3097 Joab 0251 your brother?
2:23 [cbb5] 亞撒黑仍不肯轉開、故此押尼珥就用槍鐏刺入他的肚腹、甚至槍從背後透出．亞撒黑就在那裡仆倒而死．眾人趕到亞撒黑仆倒而死的地方、就都站住。
    [kjv] Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.
    [strongs] 3985 But he refused 5493 to turn aside, 5221 so struck him 0074 Abner 0310 with the butt of 2595 and the spear 6256 in 2570 the belly, 3318 and came out 2595 the spear 5462 behind him. 5307 And he fell 8033 there 4191 and died 4725 in his place. 1961 And it was, 3605 all 0935 who came 0000 to 4725 the place 0834 where 5307 fell 8033 there 6214 Ashahel 4191 and died, 5975 they stood still.
2:24 [cbb5] 約押和亞比篩追趕押尼珥、日落的時候、到了通基遍曠野的路旁、基亞對面的亞瑪山。
    [kjv] Joab also and Abishai pursued after Abner: and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah, that lieth before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.
    [strongs] 7291 And pursued 3097 Joab 0052 and Abishai 0310 after 0074 Abner, 8121 when the sun 0935 was setting. 0935 And they came 0000 to 1389 the hill of 0522 Ammah 0834 which {is} 6440 before 1520 Giah {by} 1870 the way of 4057 the Desert of 1391 Gibeon.
2:25 [cbb5] 便雅憫人聚集、跟隨押尼珥站在一個山頂上。
    [kjv] And the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on the top of an hill.
    [strongs] 6908 And gathered 1121 the sons of 1144 Benjamin 0310 after 0074 Abner 1961 and became 0092 band 0259 one, 5975 and stood 0000 on 7218 the top of 1389 hill 0259 a certain.
2:26 [cbb5] 押尼珥呼叫約押、說、刀劍豈可永遠殺人麼．你豈不知終久必有苦楚麼．你要等何時纔叫百姓回去、不追趕弟兄呢。
    [kjv] Then Abner called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?
    [strongs] 7121 And called 0074 Abner 0000 to 3097 Joab, 0559 and said, 5769 Forever 0398 will devour 2719 sword? 3808 not 3045 Do you know 0000 that 4751 bitter 1961 will it be 0314 in the end? 5704 And until 4100 when 3808 not 0559 you will say 5971 to the people 7725 to turn back 0310 from after 0251 their brothers?
2:27 [cbb5] 約押說、我指著永生的　神起誓、你若不說戲耍的那句話、今日早晨百姓就回去、不追趕弟兄了。
    [kjv] And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3097 Joab, 2421 {As} lives 0430 God, 3588 for 3808 if not 1696 you had spoken, 3588 surely 0227 then 1242 in the morning 5927 would have gone up 5971 the people 0376 each man 0310 from following 0251 his brother.
2:28 [cbb5] 於是約押吹角、眾民就站住不再追趕以色列人、也不再打仗了。
    [kjv] So Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.
    [strongs] 8628 So blew 3097 Joab 3104 the ram's horn, 5975 and stood 3605 all 5971 the people, 3808 and not 7291 did pursue 5750 still 0310 after 3478 Israel, 3808 nor 3254 did again 5750 still 3898 fight.
2:29 [cbb5] 押尼珥和跟隨他的人、整夜經過亞拉巴、過約但河走過畢倫、到了瑪哈念。
    [kjv] And Abner and his men walked all that night through the plain, and passed over Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and they came to Mahanaim.
    [strongs] 0074 And Abner 0376 and his men 1980 went 6160 through the Arabah 3605 all 3915 night 1931 that, 5674 and crossed 7969 the 3383 Jordan {River} 1980 and went 3605 all 1338 the forenoon, 0935 and came to 4268 Mahanaim.
2:30 [cbb5] 約押追趕押尼珥回來、聚集眾民、見大衛的僕人中缺少了十九個人、和亞撒黑。
    [kjv] And Joab returned from following Abner: and when he had gathered all the people together, there lacked of David's servants nineteen men and Asahel.
    [strongs] 3097 And Joab 7725 returned 0310 from following 0074 Abner. 6908 And when he gathered 3605 all 5971 the people, 6485 were lacking 5650 of the servants of 1732 David 8677 nine- 6240 teen 0376 men 6214 and Asahel.
2:31 [cbb5] 但大衛的僕人殺了便雅憫人、和跟隨押尼珥的人、共三百六十名。
    [kjv] But the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of Abner's men, so that three hundred and threescore men died.
    [strongs] 5650 And the servants of 1732 David 5221 struck 1144 of Benjamin 0376 and the men of 0074 Abner 7967 three 3963 hundred 8346 and sixty 0376 men 4191 died.
2:32 [cbb5] 眾人將亞撒黑送到伯利恆、葬在他父親的墳墓裡。約押和跟隨他的人、走了一夜、天亮的時候到了希伯崙。
    [kjv] And they took up Asahel, and buried him in the sepulchre of his father, which was in Bethlehem. And Joab and his men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.
    [strongs] 5375 And they lifted up 6214 Asahel, 6912 and buried him 6913 in the grave of 0001 his father 0834 which {is} 1035 {in} Bethlehem. 1980 And they went 3605 all 3995 the night, 3097 Joab 0376 and his men, 0215 and it was light 0000 to them 2275 {coming} into Hebron.
