24:1 [cbb5] 耶和華又向以色列人發怒、就激動大衛、使他吩咐人去數點以色列人和猶大人。
    [kjv] And again the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel, and he moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.
    [strongs] 3254 And again 0639 the anger of 3068 Yahweh 1197 burned 3478 against Israel, 5265 and moved 1732 David 0000 against them 0559 to say, 1980 Go, 4557 number 3478 Israel 0000 and 3063 Judah.
24:2 [cbb5] 大衛就吩咐跟隨他的元帥約押說、你去走遍以色列眾支派、從但直到別是巴、數點百姓、我好知道他們的數目。
    [kjv] For the king said to Joab the captain of the host, which was with him, Go now through all the tribes of Israel, from Dan even to Beersheba, and number ye the people, that I may know the number of the people.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 4428 the king 0413 to 3097 Joab, 8269 the commander of 2428 the army 0834 that {was} 0854 with him, 7751 Go about 4994 now 3605 through all 7626 the tribes of 3478 Israel, 1835 from Dan 5704 even to 0884 Beer-sheba, 4557 and number 5971 the people 3045 that I may know 4557 the number of 5971 the people.
24:3 [cbb5] 約押對王說、無論百姓多少、願耶和華你的　神再加增百倍、使我主我王親眼得見．我主我王何必喜悅行這事呢。
    [kjv] And Joab said unto the king, Now the LORD thy God add unto the people, how many soever they be, an hundredfold, and that the eyes of my lord the king may see it: but why doth my lord the king delight in this thing?

24:4 [cbb5] 但王的命令勝過約押和眾軍長、約押和眾軍長、就從王面前出去、數點以色列的百姓。
    [kjv] Notwithstanding the king's word prevailed against Joab, and against the captains of the host. And Joab and the captains of the host went out from the presence of the king, to number the people of Israel.
    [strongs] 2388 But prevailed 1697 the word of 4428 the king 0413 against 3097 Joab, 5921 and against 8269 the officers of 2428 the army. 5927 And went out 3097 Joab 8269 and the officers of 2428 the army 6440 {from} in the presence of 4428 the king 6485 to muster 5971 the people 9999 {even} 3478 Israel.
24:5 [cbb5] 他們過了約但河、在迦得谷中城的右邊亞羅珥安營、與雅謝相對．
    [kjv] And they passed over Jordan, and pitched in Aroer, on the right side of the city that lieth in the midst of the river of Gad, and toward Jazer:
    [strongs] 5674 And they crossed 3383 the Jordan {River}, 2583 and camped 6177 in Aroer, 3220 {on} the right of 5892 the city 0000 that {is} 8432 in the middle of 5158 the Valley of 1410 Gad, 0413 and to 3270 Jazer.
24:6 [cbb5] 又到了基列、和他停合示地．又到了但雅安、繞到西頓、
    [kjv] Then they came to Gilead, and to the land of Tahtimhodshi; and they came to Danjaan, and about to Zidon,
    [strongs] 0935 And they came into 1568 Gilead 0000 and 0776 the land of 8482 Tahtim 8483 Hadshi, 0935 and they came to 1842 Dan-jaan 5430 and around 0413 to 6721 Sidon.
24:7 [cbb5] 來到推羅的保障、並希未人和迦南人的各城．又到猶大南方的別是巴。
    [kjv] And came to the strong hold of Tyre, and to all the cities of the Hivites, and of the Canaanites: and they went out to the south of Judah, even to Beersheba.
    [strongs] 0935 And they came into 4013 the fortress of 6866 Tyre, 3605 and all 5892 the cities of 2340 the Hivites, 3669 and {of} the Canaanites, 5927 and went out 0413 to 5045 the south of 3063 Judah, 0884 {to} Beer-sheba.
24:8 [cbb5] 他們走遍全地、過了九個月零二十天就回到耶路撒冷。
    [kjv] So when they had gone through all the land, they came to Jerusalem at the end of nine months and twenty days.

24:9 [cbb5] 約押將百姓的總數奏告於王．以色列拿刀的勇士有八十萬．猶大有五十萬。
    [kjv] And Joab gave up the sum of the number of the people unto the king: and there were in Israel eight hundred thousand valiant men that drew the sword; and the men of Judah were five hundred thousand men.

24:10 [cbb5] 大衛數點百姓以後、就心中自責、禱告耶和華、說、我行這事大有罪了．耶和華阿、求你除掉僕人的罪孽．因我所行的甚是愚昧。
    [kjv] And David's heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.
    [strongs] 5221 And struck 3820 the heart of 1732 David 0000 him, 0310 after 5608 he had numbered 5971 the people. 0559 And said 1732 David 3068 to Yahweh, 2398 I have sinned 3966 greatly 0834 {in} that which 6213 I have done, 6258 and now, 3068 O Yahweh, 5674 take away 4994 I pray, 5771 the iniquity of 5650 your servant, 3588 for 5528 I have acted foolishly 3966 very.
24:11 [cbb5] 大衛早晨起來、耶和華的話臨到先知迦得、就是大衛的先見、說、
    [kjv] For when David was up in the morning, the word of the LORD came unto the prophet Gad, David's seer, saying,
    [strongs] 6965 And arose 1732 David 1242 in the morning, 1697 and the word of 3068 Yahweh 0935 came 1410 to Gad 5030 the prophet, 2374 the seer of 1732 David, 0559 saying,
24:12 [cbb5] 你去告訴大衛說、耶和華如此說、我有三樣災、隨你選擇一樣、我好降與你。
    [kjv] Go and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.
    [strongs] 1980 Go, 1696 and you will speak 1732 to David, 3541 Thus 0559 says 3068 Yahweh, 7969 three {things} 0595 I 5190 am imposing 5921 upon you. 0977 Choose 0000 for yourself 0259 one 0000 of them 6213 an I will do {it} 0000 to you.
24:13 [cbb5] 於是迦得來見大衛、對他說、你願意國中有七年的饑荒呢．是在你敵人面前逃跑、被追趕三個月呢．是在你國中有三日的瘟疫呢．現在你要揣摩思想、我好回覆那差我來的。
    [kjv] So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days' pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me.
    [strongs] 0935 And came 1410 Gad 1732 to David 5046 and told 0000 him, 0559 and said 0000 to him, 0935 Should come 0000 to you 7651 seven 8141 years 7458 {of} famine 0776 in your land? 0518 Or 7967 three 3391 months 5127 will you flee 6440 before 6862 your adversaries 1931 while he 7291 pursues you? 1961 Or will there be 7967 three 3117 days 1698 plague 0776 in your land? 6258 Now 3045 consider 7200 and see 4100 what 7725 I will take back 7971 to Him who sent me 1697 word.
24:14 [cbb5] 大衛對迦得說、我甚為難．我願落在耶和華的手裡、因為他有豐盛的憐憫．我不願落在人的手裡。
    [kjv] And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 1732 David 1410 to Gad, 6864 distress 0000 to me 3966 great. 5307 let us fall 4994 now 3027 into the hand of 3068 Yahweh, 3588 for 7227 many {are} 7356 His mercies. 3027 And into the hand of 0120 man 0408 not 5307 let me fall.
24:15 [cbb5] 於是耶和華降瘟疫與以色列人、自早晨到所定的時候．從但直到別是巴、民間死了七萬人。
    [kjv] So the LORD sent a pestilence upon Israel from the morning even to the time appointed: and there died of the people from Dan even to Beersheba seventy thousand men.
    [strongs] 5414 And gave 3068 Yahweh 1698 a plague 3478 upon Israel 1242 from the morning 5704 even to 6256 the time 6485 appointed, 4191 and died 4480 of 5971 the people 1835 from Dan 5704 even to 0884 Beer-sheba 7657 seventy 0505 thousand 0376 men.
24:16 [cbb5] 天使向耶路撒冷伸手要滅城的時候、耶和華後悔、就不降這災了、吩咐滅民的天使說、彀了、住手罷。那時耶和華的使者在耶布斯人亞勞拿的禾場那裡。
    [kjv] And when the angel stretched out his hand upon Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD repented him of the evil, and said to the angel that destroyed the people, It is enough: stay now thine hand. And the angel of the LORD was by the threshingplace of Araunah the Jebusite.
    [strongs] 7971 And put forth 3027 his hand 4397 the angel 3389 {to} Jerusalem 7843 to destroy it. 5162 and repented 3068 Yahweh 0413 {as} to 7451 the evil, 0559 and said 4397 to the angel 7843 who was destroying 5971 among the people, 0722 Enough! 6258 Now 7503 stop 3027 your hand. 4397 And the angel of 3068 Yahweh 1961 was 5973 near 1637 the floor of 0728 Araunah 2983 the Jebusite.
24:17 [cbb5] 大衛看見滅民的天使、就禱告耶和華、說、我犯了罪、行了惡．但這群羊作了甚麼呢。願你的手攻擊我、和我的父家。
    [kjv] And David spake unto the LORD when he saw the angel that smote the people, and said, Lo, I have sinned, and I have done wickedly: but these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, be against me, and against my father's house.
    [strongs] 1696 And spoke 1732 David 3068 to Yahweh, 7200 when he saw 4397 the angel 5221 who was striking 5971 among the people, 0559 and said, 2009 Look, 0595 I 2398 have sinned! 0595 Yes, I 5753 have acted perversely. 0428 And these, 7659 the flock, 4100 what 6213 have they done? 1961 Let be 4994 now 3027 Your hand 0000 upon me, 1004 and on the household of 0001 my forefather.
24:18 [cbb5] 當日迦得來見大衛、對他說、你上去、在耶布斯人亞勞拿的禾場上、為耶和華築一座壇。
    [kjv] And Gad came that day to David, and said unto him, Go up, rear an altar unto the LORD in the threshingfloor of Araunah the Jebusite.
    [strongs] 0935 And came 1410 Gad 0413 to 1732 David 3117 on day 1931 that, 0559 and said 0000 to him, 5927 Go up, 7311 raise 3068 to Yahweh 4196 an altar 0163 in the threshing-floor of 0728 Araunah 2983 the Jebusite.
24:19 [cbb5] 大衛就照著迦得奉耶和華名所說的話、上去了．
    [kjv] And David, according to the saying of Gad, went up as the LORD commanded.
    [strongs] 5927 And went up 1732 David 1697 according to the word of 1410 Gad, 0834 as 6680 commanded 3068 Yahweh.
24:20 [cbb5] 亞勞拿觀看、見王和他臣僕前來、就迎接出去、臉伏於地、向王下拜、
    [kjv] And Araunah looked, and saw the king and his servants coming on toward him: and Araunah went out, and bowed himself before the king on his face upon the ground.
    [strongs] 8250 And looked down 0728 Araunah 7200 and saw 4428 the king 0000 and 5650 his servants 5674 crossing over 0000 to him. 5927 And went out 0728 Araunah 7812 and bowed 4428 to the king, 6440 his face 0776 to the earth.
24:21 [cbb5] 說、我主我王為何來到僕人這裡呢。大衛說、我要買你這禾場、為耶和華築一座壇、使民間的瘟疫止住。
    [kjv] And Araunah said, Wherefore is my lord the king come to his servant? And David said, To buy the threshingfloor of thee, to build an altar unto the LORD, that the plague may be stayed from the people.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0728 Araunah, 4100 Why 0935 has come 0113 my lord, 4428 the king, 0413 to 5650 his servant? 0559 And said 1732 David, 7666 To buy 5973 from you 1637 the threshing-floor 1129 to build 4196 an altar 3068 to Yahweh, 6113 that may be stayed 4046 the plague 5921 from 5971 the people.
24:22 [cbb5] 亞勞拿對大衛說、我主我王、你喜悅用甚麼、就拿去獻祭．看哪、這裡有牛、可以作燔祭、有打糧的器具、和套牛的軛、可以當柴燒。
    [kjv] And Araunah said unto David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what seemeth good unto him: behold, here be oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0728 Araunah 1732 to David, 3947 Let take 5927 and offer up 0113 my lord, 4428 the king, 2896 that which {is} good 5869 in his eyes. 7200 See, 1241 the oxen 5930 for the burnt-offering, 4173 and the threshing sledges 3627 and the yokes of 1241 the oxen 6086 for wood.
24:23 [cbb5] 王阿、這一切我亞勞拿都奉給你．又對王說、願耶和華你的　神悅納你。
    [kjv] All these things did Araunah, as a king, give unto the king. And Araunah said unto the king, The LORD thy God accept thee.
    [strongs] 3605 All {these} 5414 gives 0728 Araunah, 4428 O king, 4428 to the king. 0559 And said 0728 Aruanah 0413 to 4428 the king, 3068 Yahweh 0430 your God 7521 may accept you.
24:24 [cbb5] 王對亞勞拿說、不然．我必要按著價值向你買、我不肯用白得之物作燔祭、獻給耶和華我的　神。大衛就用五十舍客勒銀子、買了那禾場與牛。
    [kjv] And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 4428 the king 0413 to 0728 Araunah, 3808 No, 3588 for 7069 surely 7069 I will buy 0853 from you 4242 for a price, 3808 and not 5927 I will offer 3068 to Yahweh 0430 my God 5930 burnt-offerings 2600 for nothing. 4069 And bought 1732 David 1637 the threshing-floor 0000 and 1241 the oxen 3701 with silver 8255 shekels 2572 fifty.
24:25 [cbb5] 大衛在那裡為耶和華築了一座壇、獻燔祭和平安祭。如此耶和華垂聽國民所求的、瘟疫在以色列人中就止住了。
    [kjv] And David built there an altar unto the LORD, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings. So the LORD was intreated
    [strongs] 1129 And built 8033 there 1732 David 4196 an altar 3068 to Yahweh, 5927 and offered 5930 burnt-offerings 8002 and peace-offerings. 6279 And was entreated 3068 Yahweh 0776 for the land 6113 and was stayed 4046 the plague 5921 from 3478 Israel.
