8:1 [cbb5] 此後大衛攻打非利士人、把他們治服．從他們手下奪取了京城的權柄。〔原文作母城的嚼環〕
    [kjv] And after this it came to pass that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them: and David took Methegammah out of the hand of the Philistines.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was 0310 afterward 3651 that 5221 struck 1732 David 6430 the Philistines 3665 and humbled them. 3947 And took 1732 David 4964 the bridle of 0517 the mother city 3027 from hand 6430 the Philistines.
8:2 [cbb5] 又攻打摩押人、使他們躺臥在地上、用繩量一量、量二繩的殺了、量一繩的存留．摩押人就歸服大衛、給他進貢。
    [kjv] And he smote Moab, and measured them with a line, casting them down to the ground; even with two lines measured he to put to death, and with one full line to keep alive. And so the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts.
    [strongs] 5221 And struck he 4124 Moab 4058 and measured them 2256 with a line, 7901 making lie down 0000 them 0776 on the ground. 4058 And he measured 8147 two 2256 lines 4191 to put to death, 4393 and the fullness of 2256 the line 2421 to keep alive. 1961 And became 4125 the Moabites 1732 David's 5650 servants, 5375 carrying 4503 tribute.

    [kjv] David smote also Hadadezer, the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his border at the river Euphrates.
    [strongs] 5221 And struck 1732 David 1909 Hadadezer 1121 the son of 7340 Rehob, 4428 king of 6678 Zobah, 1980 as he went 7725 to restore 3027 his hand 5104 at the River.
8:4 [cbb5] 擒拿了他的馬兵一千七百、步兵二萬．將拉戰車的馬砍斷蹄筋、但留下一百輛車的馬。
    [kjv] And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: and David houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them for an hundred chariots.
    [strongs] 3920 And captured 1732 David 0000 from him 0505 a thousand 7651 and seven 3963 hundred 6571 horsemen 6242 and twenty 0505 thousand 0376 men 7273 foot-. 6131 And hamstrung 1732 David 3605 all the {horses} 7393 chariot 3498 but he left 0000 of them 3967 a hundred 7393 chariots.

    [kjv] And when the Syrians of Damascus came to succour Hadadezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.
    [strongs] 0935 And when came 0758 the Syrians of 1834 Damascus 5826 to help 1909 Hadadezer, 4428 king of 6678 Zobah, 5221 struck 1732 David 0758 of the Syrians 6242 twenty 8147 and two 0505 thousand 0376 men.
8:6 [cbb5] 於是大衛在大馬色的亞蘭地設立防營．亞蘭人就歸服他給他進貢。大衛無論往那裡去、耶和華都使他得勝。
    [kjv] Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
    [strongs] 7760 And put 1732 David 5333 garrisons 0758 in Aram of 1834 Damascus, 1961 and became 0758 the Syrians 1732 to David 5650 servants, 5375 carriers of 4503 tribute. 3467 And helped 3068 Yahweh 1732 David 3605 in all {places} 0834 {in} which 1980 he went.

    [kjv] And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.

8:8 [cbb5] 大衛王又從屬哈大底謝的比他、和比羅他城中、奪取了許多的銅。
    [kjv] And from Betah, and from Berothai, cities of Hadadezer, king David took exceeding much brass.
    [strongs] 0984 And from Betah, 1268 and from Berothai, 5892 cities 1909 Hadadezer's, 3947 took 4428 King 1732 David 5178 bronze 7230 much 3966 very.
8:9 [cbb5] 哈馬王陀以聽見大衛殺敗哈大底謝的全軍、
    [kjv] When Toi king of Hamath heard that David had smitten all the host of Hadadezer,
    [strongs] 8085 And heard 8583 Toi 4428 the king of 2574 Hamath 0000 that 5221 had struck 1732 David 3605 all 2428 the army of 1909 Hadadezer.
8:10 [cbb5] 就打發他兒子約蘭去見大衛王、問他的安、為他祝福、因為他殺敗了哈大底謝、原來陀以與哈大底謝常常爭戰。約蘭帶了金銀銅的器皿來。
    [kjv] Then Toi sent Joram his son unto king David, to salute him, and to bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer, and smitten him: for Hadadezer had wars with Toi. And Joram brought with him vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and vessels of brass:
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 8583 Toi 3141 Joram 1121 his son 0000 to 4428 King 1732 David 7592 to inquire 0000 of him 7965 peace, 1288 and to bless him 0000 because 2898 he fought 1909 against Hadadezer 5227 and struck him. 3588 For 0376 a man of 4421 wars 8583 {against} Toi 1961 had been 1909 Hadadezer. 3027 And in his hand 1961 were 3672 articles of 3701 silver 3672 and articles of 2091 gold, 3672 and articles of 5178 bronze.
8:11 [cbb5] 大衛王將這些器皿、和他治服各國所得來的金銀、都分別為聖獻給耶和華．
    [kjv] Which also king David did dedicate unto the LORD, with the silver and gold that he had dedicated of all nations which he subdued;
    [strongs] 1571 Also 0000 them 6942 dedicated 4428 King 1732 David 3068 to Yahweh, 0000 with 3701 the silver 2096 and the gold 0000 that 6942 he dedicated 3605 from all 1471 the nations 0000 that 3533 he had subdued.
8:12 [cbb5] 就是從亞蘭、摩押、亞捫、非利士、亞瑪力人所得來的、以及從瑣巴王利合的兒子哈大底謝所掠之物。
    [kjv] Of Syria, and of Moab, and of the children of Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.
    [strongs] 0758 From Aram, 4124 and from Moab, 1121 and from the sons of 5983 Ammon, 6430 and from the Philistines, 6002 and from Amalek, 7998 and from the spoil of 1909 Hadadezer 1121 son of 7340 Rehob 4428 king of 6678 Zobah.
8:13 [cbb5] 大衛在鹽谷擊殺了亞蘭〔或作以東見詩篇六十篇詩題〕一萬八千人回來、就得了大名。
    [kjv] And David gat him a name when he returned from smiting of the Syrians in the valley of salt, being eighteen thousand men.
    [strongs] 6213 And made 1732 David 8034 a name 7725 when he returned 5221 from his striking 0758 Aram 1516 in the Valley of 4417 Salt-- 8083 eigh- 6240 teen 0505 thousand {men}.
8:14 [cbb5] 又在以東全地設立防營．以東人就都歸服大衛。大衛無論往那裡去、耶和華都使他得勝。
    [kjv] And he put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom put he garrisons, and all they of Edom became David's servants. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
    [strongs] 7760 And he put 0123 in Edom 5333 garrisons. 3605 In all 0123 Edom 7760 he put 5333 garrisons, 1961 and became 3605 all 0123 Edom 5650 servants 1732 to David. 3467 And helped 3068 Yahweh 1732 David 3605 in all {places} 0834 {in} which 1980 he went.
8:15 [cbb5] 大衛作以色列眾人的王．又向眾民秉公行義。
    [kjv] And David reigned over all Israel; and David executed judgment and justice unto all his people.
    [strongs] 4427 And ruled 1732 David 5921 over 3605 all 3478 Israel. 0000 And 1732 David 6213 did 4941 justice 6666 and righteousness 3605 for all 5971 his people.
8:16 [cbb5] 洗魯雅的兒子約押作元帥．亞希律的兒子約沙法作史官．
    [kjv] And Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the host; and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder;
    [strongs] 3097 And Joab 1121 the son of 6870 Zeruiah {was} 5921 over 6635 the army, 3092 and Jehoshaphat 1121 the son of 0286 Ahilud 2142 recorder.
8:17 [cbb5] 亞希突的兒子撒督、和亞比亞他的兒子亞希米勒、作祭司長、西萊雅作書記．
    [kjv] And Zadok the son of Ahitub, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, were the priests; and Seraiah was the scribe;
    [strongs] 6659 And Zadok 1121 the son of 0285 Ahitub, 0288 and Ahimelech 1121 the son of 0054 Abiathar 3548 priests. 8304 And Seraiah 5608 {was} scribe.
8:18 [cbb5] 耶何耶大的兒子比拿雅、統轄基利提人、和比利提人、大衛的眾子都作領袖。
    [kjv] And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David's sons were chief rulers.
    [strongs] 1141 And Benaiah 1121 the son of 3077 Jehoiada {over} 3774 both the Cherethites 6432 and the Pelethites. 1121 And sons 1732 David's 3548 priests 1961 were.
