17:1 [cbb5] 以色列全會眾都遵耶和華的吩咐、按著站口從汛的曠野往前行、在利非訂安營．百姓沒有水喝、
    [kjv] And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.
    [strongs] 5265 And journeyed 5712 all the congregation of 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 4057 from the Desert of 2403 Sin, 4550 according to their trips, 5921 by 6310 the mouth of 3068 Yahweh. 2583 And they camped 7508 in Rephidim. 0369 And was no 4325 water 8354 for the drinking of 5971 the people.
17:2 [cbb5] 所以與摩西爭鬧、說、給我們水喝罷。摩西對他們說、你們為甚麼與我爭鬧、為甚麼試探耶和華呢。
    [kjv] Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt the LORD?
    [strongs] 7378 And fought 5971 the people 4872 with Moses, 0559 and said, 5414 Give us 4325 water, 8354 so that we may drink! 0559 And said 0000 to them 4872 Moses, 4100 Why 7378 do you fight 3190 with me? 4100 Why 5254 do you test 3068 Yahweh?
17:3 [cbb5] 百姓在那裡甚渴、要喝水、就向摩西發怨言、說、你為甚麼將我們從埃及領出來、使我們和我們的兒女並牲畜、都渴死呢。
    [kjv] And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
    [strongs] 6772 And thirsted 8033 there 5971 the people 4325 for water, 8519 and complained 5971 the people 0413 against 4872 Moses, 0559 and said, 4100 Why 0000 this 5927 have you brought us 4714 from Egypt 2026 to kill 0000 me, 1121 and my sons, 0000 and 4735 my livestock 6772 with thirst?
17:4 [cbb5] 摩西就呼求耶和華說、我向這百姓怎樣行呢、他們幾乎要拿石頭打死我。
    [kjv] And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.
    [strongs] 6817 And cried out 4872 Moses 3068 to Yahweh, 0559 saying, 4100 What 6213 will I do 5971 to people 2008 this? 6258 Yet 4595 a little, 5619 and they will stone me.
17:5 [cbb5] 耶和華對摩西說、你手裡拿著你先前擊打河水的杖、帶領以色列的幾個長老、從百姓面前走過去。
    [kjv] And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3068 Yahweh 4872 to Moses, 5674 Pass on 6440 in front of 5971 the people 0394 and take 0000 with you 2205 {some} of the elders of 3478 Israel 4294 and your rod 0834 which 5221 you struck 0000 with it 2975 the Nile {River}. 3947 Take 3027 in your hand, 1980 and go.
17:6 [cbb5] 我必在何烈的磐石那裡站在你面前．你要擊打磐石、從磐石裡必有水流出來、使百姓可以喝。摩西就在以色列的長老眼前這樣行了。
    [kjv] Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
    [strongs] 2009 Listen, I 5975 will stand 6440 in front of you 8033 there 5921 on 6697 the rock 2722 at {Mount} Horeb, 5221 and you will strike 6697 the rock, 3318 and will come out 0000 of it 4325 water, 8354 and will drink 5971 the people. 0559 And did 3651 so 4872 Moses 5869 in front of the eyes of 2205 the elders of 3478 Israel.
17:7 [cbb5] 他給那地方起名叫瑪撒、〔就是試探的意思〕又叫米利巴、〔就是爭鬧的意思〕因以色列人爭鬧、又因他們試探耶和華說、耶和華是在我們中間不是。
    [kjv] And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?
    [strongs] 7121 And one called 8034 the name of 4725 the place 4532 Massah 4809 and Meribah 0000 because of 7379 the fighting of 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel, 0000 and because 5254 they tested 3068 Yahweh, 0559 saying, 3426 Is 3068 Yahweh 7130 in our midst, 0518 or 0369 not?
17:8 [cbb5] 那時亞瑪力人來在利非訂、和以色列人爭戰。
    [kjv] Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
    [strongs] 0935 Then came 6002 Amalek 3898 and fought 5973 against 3478 Israel 7508 at Rephidim.
17:9 [cbb5] 摩西對約書亞說、你為我們選出人來、出去和亞瑪力人爭戰．明天我手裡要拿著　神的杖、站在山頂上。
    [kjv] And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 4872 Moses 0413 to 3091 Joshua, 0977 Choose 0000 for us 0376 men 1980 and go 3898 fight 6002 against Amalek. 4279 Tomorrow 0595 I 5975 will stand 5921 on 7218 the head of 1389 the hill, 4294 and the rod of 0430 God 3027 in my hand.
17:10 [cbb5] 於是約書亞照著摩西對他所說的話行、和亞瑪力人爭戰．摩西、亞倫、與戶珥、都上了山頂。
    [kjv] So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
    [strongs] 0621 And did 3091 Joshua 0834 as 0559 had said to him 4872 Moses 3898 to fight 6002 against Amalek. 4872 And Moses, 0175 Aaron, 3254 and Hur 5927 went up to 7218 the top of 1389 the hill.
17:11 [cbb5] 摩西何時舉手、以色列人就得勝、何時垂手、亞瑪力人就得勝。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
    [strongs] 1961 And so it was, 0834 when 7311 lifted 4872 Moses 3027 his hand, 1396 prevailed 3478 Israel. 0834 And when 7673 he rested 3027 his hand, 1369 conquered 6002 Amalek.
17:12 [cbb5] 但摩西的手發沉、他們就搬石頭來、放在他以下、他就坐在上面．亞倫與戶珥扶著他的手、一個在這邊、一個在那邊、他的手就穩住、直到日落的時候。
    [kjv] But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
    [strongs] 3027 But hands 4872 Moses' 3515 {became} heavy. 2947 So, they took 0068 a stone, 7760 and put {it} 8478 under him. 3332 And he sat 5921 on it. 0175 And Aaron 3254 and Hur 8551 held up 3027 his hands, 2088 from this 0259 one 2088 and from that 0259 one. 1961 And were 3027 his hands 0530 steady 5704 until 0935 down 8121 sun-.
17:13 [cbb5] 約書亞用刀殺了亞瑪力王和他的百姓。
    [kjv] And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
    [strongs] 2522 And defeated 3091 Joshua 6002 Amalek 0000 and 5971 his people 6310 by the edge of 2719 the sword.
17:14 [cbb5] 耶和華對摩西說、我要將亞瑪力的名號、從天下全然塗抹了、你要將這話寫在書上作紀念、又念給約書亞聽。
    [kjv] And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3068 Yahweh 0413 to 4872 Moses, 3789 Write 0000 this, 2146 {as} a memorial 5612 in a book, 7760 and set {it} 0241 in ears 3091 Joshua's, 3588 that 4229 utterly 4229 I will wipe out 2143 the memory about 6002 Amalek 8478 from under 8064 the heavens.
17:15 [cbb5] 摩西築了一座壇、起名叫耶和華尼西。〔就是耶和華是我旌旗的意思〕
    [kjv] And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:
    [strongs] 1129 So, built 4872 Moses 4196 an altar, 7121 and he called 8034 its name 3068 Yahweh- 5251 My-Banner.
17:16 [cbb5] 又說、耶和華已經起了誓、必世世代代和亞瑪力人爭戰。
    [kjv] For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said, 3027 A hand 5921 {is} on 3676 the throne of 3068 Yahweh. 4421 War 3068 {is} to Yahweh 6002 with Amalek 1755 from generation 1755 to generation.
