18:1 [cbb5] 耶和華的話又臨到我說、
    [kjv] The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying,

18:2 [cbb5] 你們在以色列地怎麼用這俗語說、父親喫了酸葡萄、兒子的牙酸倒了呢。
    [kjv] What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?
    [strongs] 4100 What {it is} 0000 to you that 0000 you 4911 use 4912 proverb 0000 this 0000 concerning 0776 the land of 3478 Israel, 0559 saying, 0001 The fathers 0398 have eaten 1155 sour grapes 8127 and the teeth of 1121 the sons 6949 are dull?
18:3 [cbb5] 主耶和華說、我指著我的永生起誓、你們在以色列中、必不再有用這俗語的因由。
    [kjv] As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.

18:4 [cbb5] 看哪、世人都是屬我的、為父的怎樣屬我、為子的也照樣屬我．犯罪的他必死亡。
    [kjv] Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

    [kjv] But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,

18:6 [cbb5] 未曾在山上喫過祭偶像之物、未曾仰望以色列家的偶像、未曾玷污鄰舍的妻、未曾在婦人的經期內親近他、
    [kjv] And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,

18:7 [cbb5] 未曾虧負人、乃將欠債之人的當頭還給他、未曾搶奪人的物件、卻將食物給飢餓的人喫、將衣服給赤身的人穿、
    [kjv] And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;
    [strongs] 0376 And a man 3808 not 3238 has pressed, 2258 {but} his pledge 2326 {to} the debtor 7725 he returns. 1498 By robbery 3808 not 1497 has robbed, 3899 {but} his bread 7457 to the hungry 5414 has given 6174 and the naked 3680 he has covered 0899 {with} clothing.
18:8 [cbb5] 未曾向借錢的弟兄取利、也未曾向借糧的弟兄多要、縮手不作罪孽、在兩人之間、按至理判斷、
    [kjv] He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,
    [strongs] 5392 On interest 3808 not 5414 he has lent 7235 and increase 3808 not 3947 he has taken. 5766 From injustice 7725 he has kept 3027 his hand. 4941 Justice 0571 true 6213 has done 0996 between 0376 man 0376 and man.
18:9 [cbb5] 遵行我的律例、謹守我的典章、按誠實行事、這人是公義的、必定存活．這是主耶和華說的。
    [kjv] Hath walked in my statutes, and hath kept my judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith the Lord GOD.
    [strongs] 2708 In My statutes 1980 has walked 4941 and My judgments 8104 has kept 6213 to deal 0552 truly- 6662 righteous 1931 he {is}, 2421 surely 2421 he will live, 5002 states 0136 the Lord 3068 Yahweh.
18:10 [cbb5] 他若生一個兒子作強盜、是流人血的、不行以上所說之善、反行其中之惡、乃在山上喫過祭偶像之物、並玷污鄰舍的妻、
    [kjv] If he beget a son that is a robber, a shedder of blood, and that doeth the like to any one of these things,
    [strongs] 3205 And if he fathers 1121 a son 6530 who is violent, 8210 who sheds 1818 blood, 6213 and does {to} 0251 a brother, 0259 from one 0428 of these.
18:11 [cbb5] 見上節
    [kjv] And that doeth not any of those duties, but even hath eaten upon the mountains, and defiled his neighbour's wife,
    [strongs] 1931 Even {if} he 3605 any of 0428 these 3808 not 6213 does {himself}. 0000 That 1571 also 5921 on 2022 the mountains 0398 he has eaten. 0802 And wife 7453 his neighbor's 2930 has defiled.
18:12 [cbb5] 虧負困苦和窮乏的人、搶奪人的物、未曾將當頭還給人、仰望偶像、並行可憎的事、
    [kjv] Hath oppressed the poor and needy, hath spoiled by violence, hath not restored the pledge, and hath lifted up his eyes to the idols, hath committed abomination,
    [strongs] 6041 The poor 0034 and the needy 3238 he has pressed. 1500 Thieving 1497 he stole. 6162 The pledge 3808 not 7725 has returned. 0413 And to 1544 the idols 1430 has lifted up 5869 his eyes, 8441 abomination 6213 he has committed.
18:13 [cbb5] 向借錢的弟兄取利、向借糧的弟兄多要．這人豈能存活呢、他必不能存活、他行這一切可憎的事、必要死亡、他的罪必歸到他身上。〔罪原文作血〕
    [kjv] Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him.
    [strongs] 5392 On interest 5414 has lent 7235 and increase 3947 has taken, 2421 will he also live? 3808 not 7931 He will live! 3605 All 8441 abominations 0428 these 6213 he has done. 4191 Surely 4191 he will die, 1818 his blood 0000 on him 1961 will be!
18:14 [cbb5] 他若生一個兒子、見父親所犯的一切罪、便懼怕、〔有古卷作思量〕不照樣去作．
    [kjv] Now, lo, if he beget a son, that seeth all his father's sins which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like,
    [strongs] 2009 Now listen, 3205 {if} he fathers 1121 a son 7200 who sees 3605 all 2398 sins 0001 his father's 0834 which 6213 he has done, 7200 and sees, 3808 and not 6213 does do 0000 like them.
18:15 [cbb5] 未曾在山上喫過祭偶像之物、未曾仰望以色列家的偶像、未曾玷污鄰舍的妻、
    [kjv] That hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, hath not defiled his neighbour's wife,
    [strongs] 5921 On 2022 the mountains 3808 not 0398 has eaten. 5869 And his eyes 3808 not 1430 has lifted up 0413 to 6459 the idols of 1004 the household of 3478 Israel. 0802 wife 7453 His neighbor's 3808 not 2930 has defiled.
18:16 [cbb5] 未曾虧負人、未曾取人的當頭、未曾搶奪人的物件、卻將食物給飢餓的人喫、將衣服給赤身的人穿、
    [kjv] Neither hath oppressed any, hath not withholden the pledge, neither hath spoiled by violence, but hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment,
    [strongs] 0376 And a man 3808 not 3238 has pressed. 6162 The pledge 3808 not 2254 has withheld. 1498 And by robbery 3808 not 1497 has robbed. 3899 His bread 7457 to the hungry 5414 he has given 6174 and the naked 3680 he has covered 0899 {with} dress.
18:17 [cbb5] 縮手不害貧窮人、未曾向借錢的弟兄取利、也未曾向借糧的弟兄多要、他順從我的典章、遵行我的律例、就不因父親的罪孽死亡、定要存活。
    [kjv] That hath taken off his hand from the poor, that hath not received usury nor increase, hath executed my judgments, hath walked in my statutes; he shall not die for the iniquity of his father, he shall surely live.
    [strongs] 6041 From the poor 7725 has withdrawn 3027 his hand. 5392 Interest 7235 and increase 3808 not 3947 has received. 4941 My judgments 6213 has done. 2708 In My statutes 1980 has walked. 1931 He 3808 not 4191 will die 5771 for the iniquity of 0001 his father, 2421 surely 2421 he will live!
18:18 [cbb5] 至於他父親、因為欺人太甚、搶奪弟兄、在本國的民中行不善、他必因自己的罪孽死亡。
    [kjv] As for his father, because he cruelly oppressed, spoiled his brother by violence, and did that which is not good among his people, lo, even he shall die in his iniquity.
    [strongs] 0001 His father, 6233 because he did 4835 extortion, 1497 robbed 1498 by robbery 0251 {his} brother, 4100 and what 3808 not 2896 is good 6213 did 8432 among 5971 his people, 2009 listen, even 4191 he will die 5771 in his iniquity.
18:19 [cbb5] 你們還說、兒子為何不擔當父親的罪孽呢。兒子行正直與合理的事、謹守遵行我的一切律例、他必定存活。
    [kjv] Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.
    [strongs] 0559 Yet you say, 4100 Why? 3808 Does not 6509 carry 1121 the son 5771 the iniquity of 0001 the father? 1121 When the son 4941 justice 6666 and righteousness 6213 has done, 3605 all 2708 My statutes 8104 he has kept 6213 and has done 0853 them, 2421 surely 2421 he will live.
18:20 [cbb5] 惟有犯罪的、他必死亡。兒子必不擔當父親的罪孽、父親也不擔當兒子的罪孽、義人的善果必歸自己、惡人的惡報也必歸自己。
    [kjv] The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
    [strongs] 5315 The soul 2398 that sins, 1961 it 4191 will die. 1121 A son 3808 not 5375 will carry 5771 the iniquity of 0001 the father 0001 and a father 3808 not 3205 will carry 5771 the iniquity of 1121 the son. 6664 The rightness of 6662 the righteous 0000 on him 1961 will be, 7562 and the wickedness of 7563 the wicked 0000 on him 1961 will be.
18:21 [cbb5] 惡人若回頭離開所作的一切罪惡、謹守我一切的律例、行正直與合理的事、他必定存活、不至死亡．
    [kjv] But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
    [strongs] 1100 But the wicked 0000 if 7725 he will turn 3605 from all 2403 his sins 0834 which 6213 he has done, 8104 and keep 3605 all 2708 My statutes, 6213 and do 4941 justice 6666 and righteousness, 2421 surely 2421 he will live. 3808 not 4191 He will die.
18:22 [cbb5] 他所犯的一切罪過都不被記念、因所行的義、他必存活。
    [kjv] All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
    [strongs] 3605 All 6588 his trangressions 0000 that 6213 he has done 3808 not 2142 they will be mentioned 0000 to him. 6664 In his righteousness 0000 that 6213 he has done 7931 he will live.
18:23 [cbb5] 主耶和華說、惡人死亡、豈是我喜悅的麼．不是喜悅他回頭離開所行的道存活麼。
    [kjv] Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?
    [strongs] 2654 Do actually 2654 I desire 4194 the death of 7563 the wicked? 5002 States 0136 the Lord 3068 Yahweh, 3808 Is it not 7725 that he should turn 1870 from his ways 2421 and live?
18:24 [cbb5] 義人若轉離義行而作罪孽、照著惡人所行一切可憎的事而行、他豈能存活麼．他所行的一切義、都不被記念、他必因所犯的罪所行的惡死亡。
    [kjv] But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.
    [strongs] 7725 But when he turns 6662 the righteous 6664 from his righteousness 6213 and does 5766 injustice. 3605 By all 8441 the abominations 0834 that 6213 do 7563 the wicked 6213 he does 2421 will he live? 3605 All 6666 his righteousness 0834 that 6213 he has done 3808 not 2142 will be remembered 4603 in his treason 0834 that 4604 he has betrayed, 2403 and in his sin 0834 that 2398 he has sinned, 0000 in them 4191 he will die.
18:25 [cbb5] 你們還說、主的道不公平．以色列家阿、你們當聽、我的道豈不公平麼、你們的道豈不是不公平麼。
    [kjv] Yet ye say, The way of the LORD is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not my way equal? are not your ways unequal?
    [strongs] 0559 Yet you say, 3808 not 8505 is fair 1870 The way of 0136 the Lord. 8085 Hear 4994 now, 1004 O household of 3478 Israel, 1870 Is My way 3808 not 3303 fair? 3808 Are not 1870 your ways 3808 not 3303 fair?
18:26 [cbb5] 義人若轉離義行而作罪孽死亡、他是因所作的罪孽死亡。
    [kjv] When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die.
    [strongs] 7725 When turns 6662 a righteous one 6664 from his righteousness 6213 and does 5766 injustice 4191 and dies 0000 in them 5771 for his injustice 0834 that 6213 he has done, 4191 he will die.
18:27 [cbb5] 再者、惡人若回頭離開所行的惡、行正直與合理的事、他必將性命救活了．
    [kjv] Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.
    [strongs] 7725 And when turns 7563 the wicked 7562 from his wickedness 0834 that 6213 he has done 6213 and does 4941 justice 6666 and righteousness, 1931 he 0000 his 5315 soul 2421 will keep alive.
18:28 [cbb5] 因為他思量、回頭離開所犯的一切罪過、必定存活不至死亡。
    [kjv] Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

18:29 [cbb5] 以色列家還說、主的道不公平．以色列家阿、我的道豈不公平麼、你們的道豈不是不公平麼。
    [kjv] Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of the LORD is not equal. O house of Israel, are not my ways equal? are not your ways unequal?
    [strongs] 0559 Yet says 1004 the household of 3478 Israel, 3808 not 8505 is fair 1870 The way of 0136 the Lord. 1870 My ways 3808 not 8505 Are fair, 1004 O household of 3478 Israel? 3808 Is it not 1870 your ways 3808 not 8505 that are fair.
18:30 [cbb5] 所以主耶和華說、以色列家阿、我必按你們各人所行的審判你們．你們當回頭離開所犯的一切罪過、這樣、罪孽必不使你們敗亡．
    [kjv] Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

18:31 [cbb5] 你們要將所犯的一切罪過、盡行拋棄、自作一個新心、和新靈．以色列家阿、你們何必死亡呢。
    [kjv] Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
    [strongs] 7993 Cast away 0000 from you 3605 all 6588 your transgressions 0834 by which 6586 you have transgressed 0000 in them. 6213 And make 0000 for yourselves 3820 a heart 2319 new 7307 and a spirit 2319 new, 4100 for why 4191 will you die, 1004 O household of 3478 Israel?
18:32 [cbb5] 主耶和華說、我不喜悅那死人之死、所以你們當回頭而存活。
    [kjv] For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
    [strongs] 3588 For 3808 not 2654 do I have pleasure 4194 in the death of 4191 him who dies, 5002 states 0136 the Lord 3068 Yahweh. 7725 So turn 2421 and live.
