15:1 [cbb5] 這事以後、耶和華在異象中有話對亞伯蘭說、亞伯蘭你不要懼怕、我是你的盾牌、必大大的賞賜你。
    [kjv] After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
    [strongs] 0310 After 1697 things 0428 these 1961 was 1697 the word of 3068 Yahweh 0413 to 0087 Abram 4236 in a vision, 0559 saying, 0408 not 3372 Do fear, 0087 Abram; 0595 I am 4043 a shield 0000 to you. 7939 Your reward 7235 will increase 3966 greatly.
15:2 [cbb5] 亞伯蘭說、主耶和華阿、我既無子、你還賜我甚麼呢．並且要承受我家業的、是大馬色人以利以謝。
    [kjv] And Abram said, LORD God, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

15:3 [cbb5] 亞伯蘭又說、你沒有給我兒子、那生在我家中的人、就是我的後嗣。
    [kjv] And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0087 Abram, 2009 Listen, 0000 to me 3808 not 5414 You have given 2233 seed, 2009 And look, 1121 the son of 1004 my household 3423 is inheriting 0853 of me!
15:4 [cbb5] 耶和華又有話對他說、這人必不成為你的後嗣、你本身所生的、纔成為你的後嗣。
    [kjv] And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

15:5 [cbb5] 於是領他走到外邊、說、你向天觀看、數算眾星、能數得過來麼．又對他說、你的後裔將要如此。
    [kjv] And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

15:6 [cbb5] 亞伯蘭信耶和華、耶和華就以此為他的義。
    [kjv] And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

15:7 [cbb5] 耶和華又對他說、我是耶和華、曾領你出了迦勒底的吾珥、為要將這地賜你為業。

15:8 [cbb5] 亞伯蘭說、主耶和華阿、我怎能知道必得這地為業呢。
    [kjv] And he said, LORD God, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?
    [strongs] 0559 And he said, 0136 My Lord 3068 Yahweh, 4100 by what 3045 will I know 3588 that 3423 I will inherit it?
15:9 [cbb5] 他說、你為我取一隻三年的母牛、一隻三年的母山羊、一隻三年的公綿羊、一隻斑鳩、一隻雛鴿。
    [kjv] And he said unto him, Take me an heifer of three years old, and a she goat of three years old, and a ram of three years old, and a turtledove, and a young pigeon.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said 0413 to him, 3947 Take 0000 for Me 5697 a heifer 8027 being three years old, 5795 and a female goat 8027 being three years old, 0352 and a ram 8027 being three years old, 8449 and a dove 1469 even a nestling.
15:10 [cbb5] 亞伯蘭就取了這些來、每樣劈開分成兩半、一半對著一半的擺列、只有鳥沒有劈開。
    [kjv] And he took unto him all these, and divided them in the midst, and laid each piece one against another: but the birds divided he not.

15:11 [cbb5] 有鷙鳥下來落在那死畜的肉上、亞伯蘭就把他嚇飛了。
    [kjv] And when the fowls came down upon the carcases, Abram drove them away.

15:12 [cbb5] 日頭正落的時候、亞伯蘭沉沉的睡了．忽然有驚人的大黑暗落在他身上。
    [kjv] And when the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell upon Abram; and, lo, an horror of great darkness fell upon him.

15:13 [cbb5] 耶和華對亞伯蘭說、你要的確知道、你的後裔必寄居別人的地、又服事那地的人．那地的人要苦待他們四百年．
    [kjv] And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not their's, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years;
    [strongs] 0559 And He said 0087 to Abram. 3045 must surely 3045 You know 3588 that 1616 an alien 1961 will be 2233 your seed 0776 in a land 3808 not 0000 to them 5647 and will serve them. 6031 And they will afflict 0853 them 0702 {for} four 3967 hundred 8141 years.
15:14 [cbb5] 並且他們所要服事的那國、我要懲罰後來他們必帶著許多財物、從那裡出來。
    [kjv] And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.

15:15 [cbb5] 但你要享大壽數、平平安安的歸到你列祖那裡、被人埋葬。
    [kjv] And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age.
    [strongs] 0859 And you 0935 will go 0413 to 0001 your forefathers 7965 in peace. 6912 You will be buried 7872 in old age 2896 a good.
15:16 [cbb5] 到了第四代、他們必回到此地、因為亞摩利人的罪孽、還沒有滿盈。
    [kjv] But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full.

15:18 [cbb5] 當那日耶和華與亞伯蘭立約、說、我已賜給你的後裔、從埃及河直到伯拉大河之地．

    [kjv] And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims,

15:21 [cbb5] 亞摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人、之地。
    [kjv] And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
