4:1 [cbb5] 有一日、那人和他妻子夏娃同房、夏娃就懷孕、生了該隱、〔就是得的意思〕便說、耶和華使我得了一個男子。
    [kjv] And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
    [strongs] 0120 And the man 3045 experienced 0853 - 2332 Eve 0802 his wife. 2029 And she conceived 3205 and gave birth to 0853 - 7014 Cain, 0559 and she said, 7069 I have gotten 0376 a human being 0854 {with the help} of 3068 Yahweh!
4:2 [cbb5] 又生了該隱的兄弟亞伯。亞伯是牧羊的．該隱是種地的。
    [kjv] And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
    [strongs] 3254 And she continued 3205 giving birth to 0853 - 0251 his brother 0853 - 1893 Abel. 1961 And became 1893 Abel 2462 a shepherd of 6629 flocks, 7014 and Cain 1961 became 5647 a tiller of 0127 the ground.
4:3 [cbb5] 有一日、該隱拿地裡的出產為供物獻給耶和華．
    [kjv] And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was 7093 in the end of 3117 days 0935 that brought 7014 Cain 6529 from the fruit of 0127 the ground 4503 an offering 3068 to Yahweh.
4:4 [cbb5] 亞伯也將他羊群中頭生的、和羊的脂油獻上．耶和華看中了亞伯和他的供物．
    [kjv] And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
    [strongs] 1893 And Abel 0935 brought 1571 also 1931 he, 1062 from the firstlings of 6629 his flocks, 2459 even from their fat, 8159 And looked 3068 Yahweh 0413 to 1893 Abel 0413 and to 4503 his offering.
4:5 [cbb5] 只是看不中該隱和他的供物．該隱就大大的發怒、變了臉色。
    [kjv] But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
    [strongs] 0413 But to 7014 Cain 0413 and to 4503 his offering 3808 not 8159 He did look. 2734 And glowed 7014 Cain 3966 greatly, 5307 and fell 6440 his face.
4:6 [cbb5] 耶和華對該隱說、你為甚麼發怒呢、你為甚麼變了臉色呢．
    [kjv] And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3068 Yahweh 0413 to 7014 Cain, 4100 Why 2734 have angrily you glowed 0000 you 4100 and why 5307 has fallen 6440 your face?
4:7 [cbb5] 你若行得好、豈不蒙悅納、你若行得不好、罪就伏在門前．他必戀慕你、你卻要制伏他。
    [kjv] If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

4:8 [cbb5] 該隱與他兄弟亞伯說話、二人正在田間、該隱起來打他兄弟亞伯、把他殺了。
    [kjv] And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

4:10 [cbb5] 耶和華說、你作了甚麼事呢、你兄弟的血、有聲音從地裡向我哀告。
    [kjv] And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.
    [strongs] 0559 And He said, 4100 What 6213 have you done? 6963 The voice of 1818 blood 0251 your brother's 6817 cries out 0413 to Me 4480 from 0127 the ground!
4:11 [cbb5] 地開了口、從你手裡接受你兄弟的血．現在你必從這地受咒詛。
    [kjv] And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;
    [strongs] 6258 And now 0779 condemned 0839 you {are}, 4480 more than 0127 the ground 0834 which 6425 opened 0853 - 6310 its mouth 3947 to receive 0853 - 1818 blood 0251 your brother's 3027 from your hand! 3588 When
4:12 [cbb5] 你種地、地不再給你效力．你必流離飄蕩在地上。
    [kjv] When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

4:13 [cbb5] 該隱對耶和華說、我的刑罰太重、過於我所能當的。
    [kjv] And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

4:14 [cbb5] 你如今趕逐我離開這地、以致不見你面．我必流離飄蕩在地上、凡遇見我的必殺我。
    [kjv] Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.
    [strongs] 2009 Look, 1644 You have driven out 0853 me 3117 today, 5921 from 6440 the surface of 0127 the earth 6440 and from Your face 5640 I will be hidden. 7961 And I will be 5128 a vagabond 5110 and a fugitive 0776 on the earth. 1961 And it will be 3605 anyone 4672 who finds me 2026 will kill me!
4:15 [cbb5] 耶和華對他說、凡殺該隱的必遭報七倍。耶和華就給該隱立一個記號、免得人遇見他就殺他。
    [kjv] And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
    [strongs] 0559 But said 3068 to him Yahweh, 3651 If 3605 anyone 5206 kills 7014 Cain, 7659 sevenfold 5358 he will be avenged! 5358 And put 3068 Yahweh 7014 on Cain 0226 a mark 1115 so that not 2026 should kill 0853 him 3605 anyone 4672 who found him.
4:16 [cbb5] 於是該隱離開耶和華的面、去住在伊甸東邊挪得之地。
    [kjv] And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

4:17 [cbb5] 該隱與妻子同房、他妻子就懷孕、生了以諾、該隱建造了一座城、就按著他兒子的名將那城叫作以諾。
    [kjv] And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
    [strongs] 3645 And experienced 7014 Cain 0853 - 0862 his wife, 2029 and she conceived 3205 and gave birth to 0853 - 2585 Enoch. 1961 And 1529 he built 5892 a city, 7121 and he called 8034 the name of 5892 the city 2027 according to 3205 his son's name 2585 --Enoch.
4:18 [cbb5] 以諾生以拿、以拿生米戶雅利、米戶雅利生瑪土撒利、瑪土撒利生拉麥。
    [kjv] And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.
    [strongs] 3205 And was born 2585 to Enoch 0853 - 5897 Irad. 5897 And Irad 3205 fathered 0853 - 4232 Mehujael; 4232 and Mehujael 3205 fathered 0853 - 4967 Methusael. 4967 And Methusael 3205 fathered 0853 - 3929 Lamech.
4:19 [cbb5] 拉麥娶了兩個妻、一個名叫亞大、一個名叫洗拉。
    [kjv] And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.
    [strongs] 3941 And took to himself 3929 Lamech 8147 two 0802 wives. 8034 The name of 0359 the first was 5711 Adah, 8034 and the name of 8145 the other was 6741 Zillah.
4:20 [cbb5] 亞大生雅八、雅八就是住帳棚牧養牲畜之人的祖師。
    [kjv] And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.
    [strongs] 3205 And gave birth to 5711 Adah 0853 - 2489 Jabal. 1931 He 1961 was 0001 the father of 2425 those living in 0108 tents 4735 and {raising} livestock.
4:21 [cbb5] 雅八的兄弟名叫猶八．他是一切彈琴吹簫之人的祖師。
    [kjv] And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.

4:22 [cbb5] 洗拉又生了土八該隱、他是打造各樣銅鐵利器的、〔或作是銅匠鐵匠的祖師〕土八該隱的妹子是拿瑪。
    [kjv] And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.
    [strongs] 6741 And Zillah 1571 also, 1931 she 3205 gave birth to 0853 - 8423 Tubal-cain, 3113 the hammerer of 3605 every 2714 engraving tool of 5178 bronze 1170 and iron. 2691 And the sister of 8423 Tubal-Cain 5279 {was} Naamah.
4:23 [cbb5] 拉麥對他兩個妻子說、亞大、洗拉、聽我的聲音、拉麥的妻子細聽我的話語、壯年人傷我、我把他殺了、少年人損我、我把他害了．〔或作我殺壯士卻傷自己我害幼童卻損本身〕
    [kjv] And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3929 Lamech 0802 to his wives 5711 Adah 6741 and Zillah, 8085 Hear 6963 my voice, 0802 you wives of 3929 Lamech! 0238 Listen to 0565 my words! 3588 Because 0376 a man 2086 I have killed 6482 because of my wound, 3206 and a young man 2250 for my hurt.
4:24 [cbb5] 若殺該隱、遭報七倍、殺拉麥、必遭報七十七倍。
    [kjv] If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.
    [strongs] 3588 Because 7659 sevenfold 5358 is avenged 7014 Cain 3929 and Lamech 7657 seventy- 7651 seven.
4:25 [cbb5] 亞當又與妻子同房、他就生了一個兒子、起名叫塞特、意思說、　神另給我立了一個兒子代替亞伯、因為該隱殺了他。
    [kjv] And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
    [strongs] 3045 And experienced 0120 Adam 5750 again 0853 - 0802 his wife, 3205 and she gave birth to 1121 a son 7121 and she called 0853 - 8034 his name 8352 Seth, 3588 because 7896 has appointed 0000 me 0430 God 2233 seed 0312 another 8478 in place of 1383 Abel, 3588 because 2026 killed him 7014 Cain.
4:26 [cbb5] 塞特也生了一個兒子、起名叫以挪士。那時候人纔求告耶和華的名。
    [kjv] And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
    [strongs] 8352 And to Seth 1571 also 1931 he 3205 was born 1121 a son, 7121 and he called 0853 - 8034 his name 0583 Enos. 0227 Then 2490 it was begun 7121 to call 8034 on the name of 3068 Yahweh.
