43:1 [cbb5] 那地的饑荒甚大。
    [kjv] And the famine was sore in the land.
    [strongs] 7455 And the famine 3515 was severe 0776 in the land.
43:2 [cbb5] 他們從埃及帶來的糧食喫盡了、他們的父親就對他們說、你們再去給我糴些糧來。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, when they had eaten up the corn which they had brought out of Egypt, their father said unto them, Go again, buy us a little food.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 0834 when 3615 they had finished 0398 eating 0853 - 7668 the grain 0834 which 0935 they had brought 4714 from Egypt, 0559 that said 0413 to them 0001 their father, 7725 Go back. 7666 Buy 0000 for us 4592 a little 0400 food.
43:3 [cbb5] 猶大對他說、那人諄諄的誥誡我們、說、你們的兄弟若不與你們同來、你們就不得見我的面。
    [kjv] And Judah spake unto him, saying, The man did solemnly protest unto us, saying, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.
    [strongs] 0559 But spoke 0413 to him 3063 Judah 0559 saying, 5749 fiercely 5749 testified 0000 to us 0376 The man, 0559 saying, 3808 not You 7200 will see 6440 my face 1115 unless 0251 your brother 0854 {is} with you!
43:4 [cbb5] 你若打發我們的兄弟與我們同去、我們就下去給你糴糧。
    [kjv] If thou wilt send our brother with us, we will go down and buy thee food:
    [strongs] 0518 If 3426 you are 7971 sending 0853 - 0251 our brother {Benjamin} 0854 with us, 3381 we will go down 7666 and buy 0000 for you 0400 food.
43:5 [cbb5] 你若不打發他去、我們就不下去、因為那人對我們說、你們的兄弟若不與你們同來、你們就不得見我的面。
    [kjv] But if thou wilt not send him, we will not go down: for the man said unto us, Ye shall not see my face, except your brother be with you.

43:6 [cbb5] 以色列說、你們為甚麼這樣害我、告訴那人你們還有兄弟呢。
    [kjv] And Israel said, Wherefore dealt ye so ill with me, as to tell the man whether ye had yet a brother?
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3478 Israel, 4100 Why 7489 did you do wrong 0000 to me 5046 to tell 0376 the man 5750 whether still 0000 you {had} 0251 a brother.
43:7 [cbb5] 他們回答說、那人詳細問到我們、和我們的親屬、說、你們的父親還在麼．你們還有兄弟麼。我們就按著他所問的告訴他、焉能知道他要說、必須把你們的兄弟帶下來呢。
    [kjv] And they said, The man asked us straitly of our state, and of our kindred, saying, Is your father yet alive? have ye another brother? and we told him according to the tenor of these words: could we certainly know that he would say, Bring your brother down?
    [strongs] 0559 And they said, 7592 specifically 7592 asked 0376 The man 0000 about us 4138 and about our relatives, 0559 saying, 5750 {Is} still 0001 your father 2416 alive? 3426 Is there 0000 to you 0251 a brother? 0000 And 5046 we said 5921 to him 6310 according to 2697 words 0428 these. 3045 Could certainly 3045 we know 3588 that 0559 he would say, 3387 Bring down 0853 your 0251 brother?
43:8 [cbb5] 猶大又對他父親以色列說、你打發童子與我同去、我們就起身下去、好叫我們和你、並我們的婦人孩子都得存活、不至於死。
    [kjv] And Judah said unto Israel his father, Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go; that we may live, and not die, both we, and thou, and also our little ones.

43:9 [cbb5] 我為他作保、你可以從我手中追討、我若不帶他回來交在你面前、我情願永遠擔罪。
    [kjv] I will be surety for him; of my hand shalt thou require him: if I bring him not unto thee, and set him before thee, then let me bear the blame for ever:

43:10 [cbb5] 我們若沒有耽擱、如今第二次都回來了。
    [kjv] For except we had lingered, surely now we had returned this second time.

43:11 [cbb5] 他們的父親以色列說、若必須如此、你們就當這樣行、可以將這地、土產中最好的乳香、蜂蜜、香料、沒藥、榧子、杏仁、都取一點收在器具裡、帶下去送給那人作禮物。
    [kjv] And their father Israel said unto them, If it must be so now, do this; take of the best fruits in the land in your vessels, and carry down the man a present, a little balm, and a little honey, spices, and myrrh, nuts, and almonds:

43:12 [cbb5] 又要手裡加倍的帶銀子、並將歸還在你們口袋內的銀子、仍帶在手裡．那或者是錯了。
    [kjv] And take double money in your hand; and the money that was brought again in the mouth of your sacks, carry it again in your hand; peradventure it was an oversight:
    [strongs] 0370 And money 4932 double 3947 take 3027 in your hands. 0853 And 3701 the money 7725 they returned 6310 in mouth 0572 your sacks', 7725 take back 3027 in your hand. 0194 Perhaps 4870 an oversight 1931 it {was}.
43:13 [cbb5] 也帶著你們的兄弟、起身去見那人。
    [kjv] Take also your brother, and arise, go again unto the man:
    [strongs] 0853 And 0251 your brother 3947 take, 6965 and rise up, 7725 return 0413 to 0376 the man!
43:14 [cbb5] 但願全能的　神使你們在那人面前蒙憐憫、釋放你們的那弟兄和便雅憫回來．我若喪了兒子、就喪了罷。
    [kjv] And God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may send away your other brother, and Benjamin. If I be bereaved of my children, I am bereaved.
    [strongs] 0410 And God 7706 Almighty 5414 may give 0000 to you 7356 mercy 6440 in the presence of 0376 the man, 7971 and may he send 0000 to you 0853 - 0251 your brother 0312 other 0853 and 1144 Benjamin. 0589 And I, 0834 if 7921 I am bereaved, 7921 I am bereaved.
43:15 [cbb5] 於是他們拿著那禮物、又手裡加倍的帶銀子、並且帶著便雅憫、起身下到埃及站在約瑟面前。
    [kjv] And the men took that present, and they took double money in their hand and Benjamin; and rose up, and went down to Egypt, and stood before Joseph.
    [strongs] 3947 And took 0376 the men 0853 - 4503 present 0000 this, 4932 and double 3706 money 3947 they took 3027 in their hand, 0853 and 1144 Benjamin; 6965 and they arose 3351 and went 4714 to Egypt, 5915 and stood 6440 in the presence of 3127 Joseph.
43:16 [cbb5] 約瑟見便雅憫和他們同來、就對家宰說、將這些人領到屋裡、要宰殺牲畜、豫備筵席、因為晌午這些人同我喫飯。
    [kjv] And when Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the ruler of his house, Bring these men home, and slay, and make ready; for these men shall dine with me at noon.
    [strongs] 7200 And saw 3127 Joseph 0853 with them 0853 - 1141 Benjamin, 0559 and said 0000 to the one 5921 over 1004 his house, 0935 Bring 0853 - 0376 the men 1004 into the house, 2873 and slaughter 2874 an animal, 6213 and prepare, 3588 because 0854 with me 0398 will eat 0376 the men 6672 at noon.
43:17 [cbb5] 家宰就遵著約瑟的命去行、領他們進約瑟的屋裡。
    [kjv] And the man did as Joseph bade; and the man brought the men into Joseph's house.
    [strongs] 6213 And did 0376 the man 0834 as 0559 said 3127 Joseph. 0935 And brought 0376 the man 0853 - 0376 the men 1004 to house 3127 Joseph's.
43:18 [cbb5] 他們因為被領到約瑟的屋裡、就害怕、說、領我們到這裡來、必是因為頭次歸還在我們口袋裡的銀子、找我們的錯縫、下手害我們、強取我們為奴僕、搶奪我們的驢。
    [kjv] And the men were afraid, because they were brought into Joseph's house; and they said, Because of the money that was returned in our sacks at the first time are we brought in; that he may seek occasion against us, and fall upon us, and take us for bondmen, and our asses.
    [strongs] 3372 And were afraid 0376 the men, 3588 because 0935 they were taken to 1004 house 3127 Joseph's. 0559 And they said, 5921 Because of 0000 - 3701 the money 7725 that {was} returned 0572 in our sacks 8462 before, 0000 we 0935 are being brought in, 1556 to throw himself 5921 upon us 5307 and to fall 5921 on us, 3947 and to take 0853 us 5650 for slaves, 0853 and 2543 our donkeys.
43:19 [cbb5] 他們就挨進約瑟的家宰、在屋門口和他說話、
    [kjv] And they came near to the steward of Joseph's house, and they communed with him at the door of the house,
    [strongs] 5066 And they came 0413 to 0376 the man 0834 which {was} 5921 over 1004 house 3127 Joseph's 1696 and spoke 0413 to him 6607 at the door of 1004 the house.
43:20 [cbb5] 說、我主阿、我們頭次下來實在是要糴糧。
    [kjv] And said, O sir, we came indeed down at the first time to buy food:
    [strongs] 0559 And they said, 0994 O 0113 my lord, 3381 surely 3381 we came 8462 before 7666 to buy 0400 food.
43:21 [cbb5] 後來到了住宿的地方、我們打開口袋、不料各人的銀子分量足數、仍在各人的口袋內、現在我們手裡又帶回來了。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, when we came to the inn, that we opened our sacks, and, behold, every man's money was in the mouth of his sack, our money in full weight: and we have brought it again in our hand.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 3588 when 0935 we came 0413 to 4411 the camp 6605 and opened 0853 - 0572 our sacks 2009 look, 3701 the money of 0376 each one 6310 in mouth 0572 his sack's, 3701 our money 4948 in its weight, 7725 and we bring 0853 it 3027 in our hand.
43:22 [cbb5] 另外又帶下銀子來糴糧、不知道先前誰把銀子放在我們的口袋裡。
    [kjv] And other money have we brought down in our hands to buy food: we cannot tell who put our money in our sacks.
    [strongs] 3701 And money 0312 other 3381 we have brought 3027 in our hand 7666 to buy 0400 food. 3808 not 3045 We do know 4310 who 7760 put 3701 our money 0572 in our sacks.
43:23 [cbb5] 家宰說、你們可以放心、不要害怕、是你們的　神、和你們父親的　神、賜給你們財寶在你們的口袋裡．你們的銀子我早已收了．他就把西緬帶出來交給他們。
    [kjv] And he said, Peace be to you, fear not: your God, and the God of your father, hath given you treasure in your sacks: I had your money. And he brought Simeon out unto them.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said, 7965 Peace 0000 to you. 0408 not 3372 Do be afraid. 0430 Your God 0430 and the God of 0001 your father 5414 has given 0000 to you 4301 a treasure 0572 in your sacks. 3701 Your money 0935 came 0413 to me. 3318 And he brought 0413 to them 0853 - 8095 Simeon.
43:24 [cbb5] 家宰就領他們進約瑟的屋裡、給他們水洗腳、又給他們草料餧驢。
    [kjv] And the man brought the men into Joseph's house, and gave them water, and they washed their feet; and he gave their asses provender.
    [strongs] 0935 And brought 0376 the man 0853 - 0376 the men 1004 to the house of 3127 Joseph, 5414 and he provided 4325 water, 7364 and they washed 7272 their feet. 5414 And he gave 4554 fodder 2543 for their donkeys.
43:25 [cbb5] 他們就豫備那禮物、等候約瑟晌午來、因為他們聽見要在那裡喫飯。
    [kjv] And they made ready the present against Joseph came at noon: for they heard that they should eat bread there.
    [strongs] 7559 And they prepared 0853 - 4503 the present 5704 for 0935 the coming of 3127 Joseph 6672 at noon, 3588 because 8085 they had heard 3588 that 8033 there 0398 they would eat 3899 food.
43:26 [cbb5] 約瑟來到家裡、他們就把手中的禮物拿進屋去給他、又俯伏在地向他下拜。
    [kjv] And when Joseph came home, they brought him the present which was in their hand into the house, and bowed themselves to him to the earth.
    [strongs] 0935 And came into 3127 Joseph 1004 the house, 0935 and they brought 0000 to him 0853 - 4503 the present, 0834 which {was} 3027 in their hand, 1004 into the house. 7812 And they bowed 0000 to him, 0776 to the ground.
43:27 [cbb5] 約瑟問他們好、又問、你們的父親、就是你們所說的那老人家平安麼．他還在麼。
    [kjv] And he asked them of their welfare, and said, Is your father well, the old man of whom ye spake? Is he yet alive?
    [strongs] 7592 And he asked 0000 them 7965 about their welfare, 0559 and he said, 7965 Is there peace 0001 to your father, 2205 the old man 0834 of whom 0559 you spoke? 5750 Is he still 2416 alive?
43:28 [cbb5] 他們回答說、你僕人我們的父親平安、他還在．於是他們低頭下拜。
    [kjv] And they answered, Thy servant our father is in good health, he is yet alive. And they bowed down their heads, and made obeisance.
    [strongs] 0559 And they said, 7965 Peace 5650 to your servant, 0001 to our father; 5750 he still 2416 is alive. 6915 And they fell 7812 and bowed themselves.
43:29 [cbb5] 約瑟舉目看見他同母的兄弟便雅憫、就說、你們向我所說那頂小的兄弟、就是這位麼．又說、小兒阿、願　神賜恩給你。
    [kjv] And he lifted up his eyes, and saw his brother Benjamin, his mother's son, and said, Is this your younger brother, of whom ye spake unto me? And he said, God be gracious unto thee, my son.
    [strongs] 5375 And he raised 5869 his eyes 7200 and saw 0853 - 1144 Benjamin, 0251 his brother, 1121 the son of 0517 his mother. 0559 And he said, 2088 Is this 0251 your brother 6996 youngest 0834 of whom 0559 you spoke 0413 to me? 0559 And he said, 0430 God 2193 bless you 1121 my son.
43:30 [cbb5] 約瑟愛弟之情發動、就急忙尋找可哭之地、進入自己的屋裡、哭了一場。
    [kjv] And Joseph made haste; for his bowels did yearn upon his brother: and he sought where to weep; and he entered into his chamber, and wept there.
    [strongs] 4116 And hurried away 3127 Joseph, 3588 because 3648 his emotions 7356 were deeply moved 0413 toward 0251 his brother. 1245 And he looked 1058 for {a place} to weep. 0935 So he went into 2315 the inner room 1058 and wept 8033 there.
43:31 [cbb5] 他洗了臉出來、勉強隱忍、吩咐人擺飯。
    [kjv] And he washed his face, and went out, and refrained himself, and said, Set on bread.
    [strongs] 7364 Then he washed 6440 his face 5927 and went out, 0662 and controlled himself, 0559 and said, 7760 Put out 3899 food!
43:32 [cbb5] 他們就為約瑟單擺了一席、為那些人又擺了一席、也為和約瑟同喫飯的埃及人另擺了一席．因為埃及人不可和希伯來人一同喫飯．那原是埃及人所厭惡的。
    [kjv] And they set on for him by himself, and for them by themselves, and for the Egyptians, which did eat with him, by themselves: because the Egyptians might not eat bread with the Hebrews; for that is an abomination unto the Egyptians.
    [strongs] 7760 And they put out {food} 0000 for him 0000 by himself, 0000 and for them 0000 by themselves, 4713 and for the Egyptians 0398 eating 0854 with him 0000 by themselves, 3588 because 3808 not 3207 are able 4713 the Egyptians 0398 to eat with 0853 - 5680 the Hebrews 3899 food, 3588 because 8441 an abomination 1931 that is 4714 in Egypt.
43:33 [cbb5] 約瑟使眾弟兄在他面前排列坐席、都按著長幼的次序．眾弟兄就彼此詫異。
    [kjv] And they sat before him, the firstborn according to his birthright, and the youngest according to his youth: and the men marvelled one at another.
    [strongs] 3427 And they sat 6440 in front of him, 1060 the firstborn 1062 by his birthright, 6812 and the younger 6810 according to his youth, 8539 and were astonished 0376 the men, 0376 each 0413 to 7453 his neighbor.
43:34 [cbb5] 約瑟把他面前的食物分出來、送給他們．但便雅憫所得的、比別人多五倍．他們就飲酒、和約瑟一同宴樂。
    [kjv] And he took and sent messes unto them from before him: but Benjamin's mess was five times so much as any of their's. And they drank, and were merry with him.
    [strongs] 5375 And one carried 4864 portions 0853 from 6440 before him 0413 to them, 7035 and was greater 4864 portion 1144 Benjamin's 4864 than the portions of 3605 all of them-- 2568 five 3027 times! 8354 And they drank 7937 and were satisfied 5973 with him.
