1:1 [cbb5] 烏斯地、有一個人名叫約伯．那人完全正直、敬畏　神、遠離惡事。
    [kjv] There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
    [strongs] 0376 a man 1961 There was 0779 in the land of 5780 Uz, 0347 Job {was} 8034 his name. 1961 And was 0376 man 0000 that 8535 perfect 3477 and upright, 3373 and revering 0430 God 5186 and turning away 7451 from evil.
1:2 [cbb5] 他生了七個兒子、三個女兒．
    [kjv] And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.
    [strongs] 3205 And were born 0000 to him 7651 seven 1121 sons 7967 and three 1323 daughters.
1:3 [cbb5] 他的家產有七千羊、三千駱駝、五百對牛、五百母驢、並有許多僕婢．這人在東方人中就為至大。
    [kjv] His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.
    [strongs] 1961 And were 4735 his possessions 7651 seven 0505 thousand 6629 sheep, 7967 and three 0505 thousand 1581 camels, 2568 and five 3963 hundred 5923 yoke of 1241 oxen, 2568 and five 3963 hundred 0860 female donkeys, 5656 and service 1419 great 3966 very. 1961 so that was 0376 man 0000 that 1432 greater 3605 than all 1121 the sons of 6924 the east.
1:4 [cbb5] 他的兒子、按著日子、各在自己家裡設擺筵宴、就打發人去、請了他們的三個姐妹來、與他們一同喫喝。
    [kjv] And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them.
    [strongs] 1980 And used to go 1121 his sons 6213 and make 4900 a feast 1004 {in} the house of 0376 each 3117 on his day 7971 and they would send 7121 and call 7969 to three 0269 their sisters 0398 to eat 8354 and to drink 0000 with them.
1:5 [cbb5] 筵宴的日子過了、約伯打發人去叫他們自潔．他清早起來、按著他們眾人的數目獻燔祭．因為他說、恐怕我兒子犯了罪、心中棄掉　神。約伯常常這樣行。
    [kjv] And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 0000 when 5362 had gone around 3117 the days of 4960 the feast 7971 that would send 0347 Job 6942 and sanctify them. 7925 And he would arise early 1242 in the morning 5927 and offer 5930 burnt sacrifices 4557 {according to} number 3605 all their. 3588 For 0559 said 0347 Job, 0194 Perhaps 2398 have sinned 1121 my sons 1288 and blessed 0430 God 3824 in their hearts. 3541 Thus 0559 did 0347 Job 3605 all 3117 the days.
1:6 [cbb5] 有一天、　神的眾子來侍立在耶和華面前、撒但也來在其中。
    [kjv] Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
    [strongs] 1961 Now came 3117 a day 0935 when came 1121 the sons of 0430 God 3320 to present themselves 6440 in the presence of 3068 Yahweh, 0935 And came 1571 also 7854 Satan 0000 among them.
1:7 [cbb5] 耶和華問撒但說、你從那裡來．撒但回答說、我從地上走來走去、往返而來。
    [kjv] And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

1:8 [cbb5] 耶和華問撒但說、你曾用心察看我的僕人約伯沒有．地上再沒有人像他完全正直、敬畏　神、遠離惡事。
    [kjv] And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3068 Yahweh 0000 to 7854 Satan, 7760 Have you set 3824 your heart 5650 on My servant 0347 Job? 3588 For 0369 not is {any} 0000 like him 0776 in the earth, 0376 a man 8535 perfect 3477 and upright, 3373 revering 0430 God 5186 and turning away 7451 from evil.
1:9 [cbb5] 撒但回答耶和華說、約伯敬畏　神、豈是無故呢。
    [kjv] Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
    [strongs] 6030 Then answered 7854 Satan 3068 Yahweh 0559 and said, 2600 for nothing 3373 Does fear 0347 Job 0430 God?
1:10 [cbb5] 你豈不是四面圈上籬笆圍護他和他的家、並他一切所有的麼．他手所作的、都蒙你賜福．他的家產也在地上增多。
    [kjv] Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
    [strongs] 3808 Have not 0000 You 7753 made a hedge 0000 for him, 0000 and for 1004 his household, 0000 and for 3605 all 0000 that {is} 0000 to him 5439 all around? 4639 The work of 3027 his hands 1288 You have blessed, 4735 and his possessions 6555 have increased 0776 in the land.
1:11 [cbb5] 你且伸手、毀他一切所有的、他必當面棄掉你。
    [kjv] But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

1:12 [cbb5] 耶和華對撒但說、凡他所有的、都在你手中．只是不可伸手加害於他。於是撒但從耶和華面前退去。
    [kjv] And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

1:13 [cbb5] 有一天、約伯的兒女正在他們長兄的家裡、喫飯喝酒、
    [kjv] And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house:
    [strongs] 0935 And came 3117 a day 1121 when his sons 1323 and his daughters 0398 {were} eating 8354 and drinking 3196 wine 1004 in the house of 0251 their brother 1067 the firstborn.
1:14 [cbb5] 有報信的來見約伯、說、牛正耕地、驢在旁邊喫草．
    [kjv] And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them:
    [strongs] 4397 And a messenger 0935 came 0000 to 0347 Job 0559 and said, 1241 The oxen 1961 were 2790 plowing, 0860 and the female donkeys 7432 were feeding 0000 at 3027 their hands.
1:15 [cbb5] 示巴人忽然闖來、把牲畜擄去、並用刀殺了僕人．惟有我一人逃脫、來報信給你。
    [kjv] And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
    [strongs] 5307 And fell on 7614 the Sabeans 5375 and took them 0000 and 5288 the servants 5221 they struck 6310 with the edge of 2719 the sword. 4422 And have escaped 7535 only 0589 I, 0905 I alone, 5046 to tell 0000 you.
1:16 [cbb5] 他還說話的時候、又有人來說、　神從天上降下火來、將群羊、和僕人、都燒滅了．惟有我一人逃脫、來報信給你。
    [kjv] While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
    [strongs] 5750 Still 0000 this {one} 1696 {was} speaking 0000 and this {other one} 0935 came 0559 and said, 0784 The fire of 0430 God 5307 fell 0000 from 8064 the heavens 0398 and burned up 6629 the sheep 5288 and the young men, 8045 and destroyed them. 4422 And have escaped, 7535 only 0589 I, 0905 I alone, 5046 to tell 0000 you.
1:17 [cbb5] 他還說話的時候、又有人來說、迦勒底人分作三隊、忽然闖來、把駱駝擄去、並用刀殺了僕人．惟有我一人逃脫、來報信給你。
    [kjv] While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
    [strongs] 5750 Still 0000 this {one} 1696 {was} speaking 0000 and this {other one} 0935 came 0559 and said, 3778 The Chadeans 3335 formed 7967 three 7218 bands 6584 and made a raid 0000 on 1581 the camels, 5375 and took them. 0000 And 5288 the young men 5221 they struck 6310 with edge 2719 the sword's. 4422 And have escaped 7535 only I, 0905 I alone, 5046 to tell 0000 you.
1:18 [cbb5] 他還說話的時候、又有人來說、你的兒女正在他們長兄的家裡、喫飯喝酒．
    [kjv] While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house:
    [strongs] 5750 Still 0000 this {one} 1696 {was} speaking, 0000 and this {other one} 0935 came 0559 and said, 1121 Your sons 1323 and your daughters 0398 {were} eating 8354 and drinking 3196 wine 1004 in the house of 0251 their brother, 1067 the firstborn.
1:19 [cbb5] 不料、有狂風從曠野颳來、擊打房屋的四角、房屋倒塌在少年人身上、他們就都死了．惟有我一人逃脫、來報信給你。
    [kjv] And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.
    [strongs] 2009 And listen! 7307 A wind 1419 great 0935 came 5676 from across 4057 the desert 5060 and touched 0702 the four 3671 corners of 1004 the house 0530 and it fell 0000 on 5288 the young men, 4191 and they died. 4422 And have escaped, 7535 only 0589 I, 0905 I alone, 5046 to tell 0000 you.
1:20 [cbb5] 約伯便起來、撕裂外袍、剃了頭、伏在地上下拜、
    [kjv] Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,
    [strongs] 6965 Then rose up 0347 Job 7167 and tore 0899 his robe, 1494 and shaved 7218 his head. 5307 And he fell down 0776 on the ground 7812 and worshiped.
1:21 [cbb5] 說、我赤身出於母胎、也必赤身歸回．賞賜的是耶和華．收取的也是耶和華。耶和華的名是應當稱頌的。
    [kjv] And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said, 6174 Naked 3318 I came out 7356 of womb 0517 my mother's, 6174 and naked 7725 I will return 8033 there. 3068 Yahweh 5414 gave, 3068 and Yahweh 3947 has taken away. 1961 Be 8034 the name of 3068 Yahweh 1288 blessed.
1:22 [cbb5] 在這一切的事上、約伯並不犯罪、也不以　神為愚妄。〔或作也不妄評　神〕
    [kjv] In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.
    [strongs] 3605 In all 0000 this 3808 not 2398 did sin 0347 Job, 3808 and not 5414 did charge 7451 wrong 0430 to God.
