約拿書 Jonah 4
4:1 [cbb5] 這事約拿大大不悅、且甚發怒。
    [kjv] But it displeased Jonah exceedingly, and he was very angry.
    [strongs] 5869 But it {was} eye 0000 to 3124 Jonah's 7451 a calamity 1419 great, 2734 and it was kindled 0000 for him.
4:2 [cbb5] 就禱告耶和華說、耶和華阿、我在本國的時候、豈不是這樣說麼．我知道你是有恩典、有憐憫的　神、不輕易發怒、有豐盛的慈愛、並且後悔不降所說的災．所以我急速逃往他施去。
    [kjv] And he prayed unto the LORD, and said, I pray thee, O LORD, was not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou art a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.

4:3 [cbb5] 耶和華阿、現在求你取我的命罷．因為我死了比活著還好。
    [kjv] Therefore now, O LORD, take, I beseech thee, my life from me; for it is better for me to die than to live.

4:4 [cbb5] 耶和華說、你這樣發怒合乎理麼。
    [kjv] Then said the LORD, Doest thou well to be angry?

4:5 [cbb5] 於是約拿出城、坐在城的東邊、在那裡為自己搭了一座棚、坐在棚的蔭下、要看看那城究竟如何。
    [kjv] So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might see what would become of the city.

4:6 [cbb5] 耶和華　神安排一棵蓖麻、使其發生高過約拿、影兒遮蓋他的頭、救他脫離苦楚．約拿因這棵蓖麻大大喜樂。
    [kjv] And the LORD God prepared a gourd, and made it to come up over Jonah, that it might be a shadow over his head, to deliver him from his grief. So Jonah was exceeding glad of the gourd.

4:7 [cbb5] 次日黎明、　神卻安排一條蟲子、咬這蓖麻、以致枯槁。
    [kjv] But God prepared a worm when the morning rose the next day, and it smote the gourd that it withered.
    [strongs] 6487 But appointed 0430 God 8438 a worm 6965 at the rising of 7837 the dawn 4283 of the next day. 5221 And it attacked 7021 the plant, 2717 and it dried up.
4:8 [cbb5] 日頭出來的時候、　神安排炎熱的東風．日頭曝曬約拿的頭、使他發昏、他就為自己求死、說、我死了比活著還好。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, when the sun did arise, that God prepared a vehement east wind; and the sun beat upon the head of Jonah, that he fainted, and wished in himself to die, and said, It is better for me to die than to live.

4:9 [cbb5] 　神對約拿說、你因這棵蓖麻發怒合乎理麼．他說、我發怒以至於死、都合乎理。
    [kjv] And God said to Jonah, Doest thou well to be angry for the gourd? And he said, I do well to be angry, even unto death.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0430 God 0000 to 3124 Jonah, 3190 appropriately 2734 Is anger kindled 0000 against you 5921 concerning 7021 the plant? 0559 And he said, 3190 appropriately 2734 Anger is kindled 0000 against me, 0000 {even} to 4194 death.
4:10 [cbb5] 耶和華說、這蓖麻不是你栽種的、也不是你培養的．一夜發生、一夜乾死你尚且愛惜．
    [kjv] Then said the LORD, Thou hast had pity on the gourd, for the which thou hast not laboured, neither madest it grow; which came up in a night, and perished in a night:
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3068 Yahweh, 0000 You 2347 had compassion 0000 on 7021 the plant 0834 which 3808 not 5998 you did labor 0000 with it, 3808 and not 1430 you made it grow, 1121 which the son of 3951 a night 1961 was, 1121 and the son of 3951 a night 0006 it perished.
4:11 [cbb5] 何況這尼尼微大城、其中不能分辨左手右手的有十二萬多人、並有許多牲畜、我豈能不愛惜呢。
    [kjv] And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more then sixscore thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much
