2:1 [cbb5] 當下嫩的兒子約書亞從什亭暗暗打發兩個人作探子、吩咐說、你們去窺探那地、和耶利哥。於是二人去了、來到一個妓女名叫喇合的家裡、就在那裡躺臥。
    [kjv] And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 3091 Joshua, 1121 the son of 5126 Nun, 0000 out of 7848 Shittim 8147 two 0376 men 7270 to spy 3909 secretly, 0559 saying, 1980 Go, 7200 Look over 7243 the 0776 land 0000 and 3405 Jericho. 1980 So they went, 0935 and came to 1004 the house of 0802 a woman 6948 a prostitute. 8034 And her name {was} 7343 Rahab. 7901 And they lay down 8033 there.
2:2 [cbb5] 有人告訴耶利哥王說、今夜有以色列人來到這裡窺探此地。
    [kjv] And it was told the king of Jericho, saying, Behold, there came men in hither to night of the children of Israel to search out the country.
    [strongs] 5646 And it was told 4428 to the king of 3405 Jericho, 0559 saying, 2233 Look, 0376 men 0935 have come 2008 here 3915 tonight 1121 from the sons of 3478 Israel, 8446 to search 0776 the land!
2:3 [cbb5] 耶利哥王打發人去見喇合說、那來到你這裡、進了你家的人、要交出來．因為他們來窺探全地。
    [kjv] And the king of Jericho sent unto Rahab, saying, Bring forth the men that are come to thee, which are entered into thine house: for they be come to search out all the country.
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 4428 the king of 3405 Jericho 0413 to 7343 Rahab, 0559 saying, 3318 Bring out 0376 the men 0935 who have come in 0000 to you, 0000 who 0935 have come 1004 into your house, 0000 because 2658 to search out 3605 all 0776 the land 0935 they came.
2:4 [cbb5] 女人將二人隱藏、就回答說、那人果然到我這裡來．他們是那裡來的我卻不知道。
    [kjv] And the woman took the two men, and hid them, and said thus, There came men unto me, but I wist not whence they were:
    [strongs] 3947 But took 0802 the woman 8147 two 0376 the men 6845 and hid them, 0559 and said, 3541 Thus 0935 came in 0376 to men, 3808 but not 3045 I did know 0370 from where 1992 they were.
2:5 [cbb5] 天黑、要關城門的時候、他們出去了．往哪裡去我卻不知道．你們快快地去追趕、就必追上。
    [kjv] And it came to pass about the time of shutting of the gate, when it was dark, that the men went out: whither the men went I wot not: pursue after them quickly; for ye shall overtake them.
    [strongs] 1961 And was 8179 the gate 5462 for shutting 2822 at dark, 0376 and the men 5927 went out. 3808 not 3045 I do know 0000 where 1961 have gone 0376 the men. 6805 Run 4118 quickly 0310 after them, 0000 because 5381 you may catch them.
2:6 [cbb5] （先是女人領二人上了房頂、將他們藏在那裡所擺的麻秸中。）
    [kjv] But she had brought them up to the roof of the house, and hid them with the stalks of flax, which she had laid in order upon the roof.
    [strongs] 1931 But she 5927 caused them to go 1506 on the roof, 6845 and hid them 6593 flax, 6086 with stalks of 6186 which were arranged 0000 by her 0000 on 1406 the roof.
2:7 [cbb5] 那些人就往約但河的渡口追趕他們去了．追趕他們的人一出去、城門就關了。
    [kjv] And the men pursued after them the way to Jordan unto the fords: and as soon as they which pursued after them were gone out, they shut the gate.

2:8 [cbb5] 二人還沒有躺臥、女人就上房頂到他們那裡、
    [kjv] And before they were laid down, she came up unto them upon the roof;

2:9 [cbb5] 對他們說、我知道耶和華已經把這地賜給你們、並且因你們的緣故我們都驚慌了．這地的一切居民、在你們面前心都消化了。
    [kjv] And she said unto the men, I know that the LORD hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you.
    [strongs] 0559 And she said 0413 to 0376 the men, 3045 I know 5414 that has given 3068 Yahweh 0000 to you 7243 the 0776 land, 0000 and that 5307 has fallen 0367 your terror 0000 on us, 0000 and that 4549 have melted 3605 all 3427 the inhabitants of 0776 the land 6440 ahead of you.
2:10 [cbb5] 因為我們聽見你們出埃及的時候、耶和華怎樣在你們前面使紅海的水乾了．並且你們怎樣待約但河東的兩個亞摩利王西宏和噩、將他們盡行毀滅。
    [kjv] For we have heard how the LORD dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed.

2:11 [cbb5] 我們一聽見這些事、心就消化了。因你們的緣故、並無一人有膽氣．耶和華你們的　神、本是上天下地的　神。
    [kjv] And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the LORD your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.

2:12 [cbb5] 現在我既是恩待你們、求你們指著耶和華向我起誓、也要恩待我父家、並給我一個實在的證據、
    [kjv] Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the LORD, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token:
    [strongs] 6258 And now, 7650 swear 4994 please 0000 to me 3068 by Yahweh, 0227 since 6213 I have dealt 0000 with you 2617 in kindness, 6213 that will deal 1571 also 0000 you 1004 with household 0001 my father's 2617 in kindness 5414 and will give 0000 to me 0226 a token of 0571 faithfulness.
2:13 [cbb5] 要救活我的父母、弟兄、姊妹、和一切屬他們的、拯救我們性命不死。
    [kjv] And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death.
    [strongs] 2421 And will keep alive 0001 my father, 0517 and my mother, 0251 and my brothers, 0000 and 0269 my sisters 0000 and 3605 all 0000 that {is} 0000 to them, 3467 and you will deliver 5315 our lives 4194 from death.
2:14 [cbb5] 二人對他說、你若不洩漏我們這件事、我們情願替你們死．耶和華將這地賜給我們的時候、我們必以慈愛誠實待你。
    [kjv] And the men answered her, Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee.

2:15 [cbb5] 於是女人用繩子將二人從窗戶裡縋下去．因他的房子是在城牆邊上、他也住在城牆上。
    [kjv] Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall.
    [strongs] 3301 Then she let them down 2256 by a rope 1157 through 2474 the window, 1004 because house 0000 her {was} 7023 in the side 7023 the wall, 7023 and on the wall 1931 she 2421 lived.
2:16 [cbb5] 他對他們說、你們且往山上去、恐怕追趕的人碰見你們．要在那裡隱藏三天、等追趕的人回來、然後纔可以走你們的路。
    [kjv] And she said unto them, Get you to the mountain, lest the pursuers meet you; and hide yourselves there three days, until the pursuers be returned: and afterward may ye go your way.

2:17 [cbb5] 二人對他說、你要這樣行．不然、你叫我們所起的誓、就與我們無干了。
    [kjv] And the men said unto her, We will be blameless of this thine oath which thou hast made us swear.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0000 to her 0376 the men, 5355 will be guiltless 0000 We 7621 from oath of yours 0000 this 0834 which 7650 you make us swear.
2:18 [cbb5] 我們來到這地的時候、你要把這條朱紅線繩繫在縋我們下去的窗戶上．並要使你的父母、弟兄、和你父的全家、都聚集在你家中。
    [kjv] Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father's household, home unto thee.

2:19 [cbb5] 凡出了你家門往街上去的、他的罪必歸到自己的頭上〔原文是血〕與我們無干了．凡在你家裡的、若有人下手害他、流他血的罪、就歸到我們的頭上。
    [kjv] And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him.
    [strongs] 1961 And it will be, 3605 anyone 0000 who 0935 goes 1817 from the doors of 1004 your house 2351 outside, 1818 his blood {is} 7218 on his head, 0000 and we 1961 will be innocent. 3605 And anyone 0834 who 1961 is 0854 with you 1004 in the house, 1818 his blood {is} 7218 on our head, 3027 if a hand 1961 is 0000 on him.
2:20 [cbb5] 你若洩漏我們這件事、你叫我們所起的誓、就與我們無干了。
    [kjv] And if thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear.
    [strongs] 0518 But if 5046 you reveal 1697 business of ours 0000 this, 1961 then we will be 5355 guiltless 7621 from your oath 0834 which 7650 you make us swear.
2:21 [cbb5] 女人說、照你們的話行罷。於是打發他們去了．又把朱紅線繩繫在窗戶上。
    [kjv] And she said, According unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound the scarlet line in the window.
    [strongs] 0559 And she said, 1697 According to your words, 3651 so 1931 it 9999 {will be}. 7971 And she sent them, 1980 and they left. 7194 And she bound 6957 the line of 8144 scarlet 2474 in the window.
2:22 [cbb5] 二人到山上、在那裡住了三天、等著追趕的人回去了。追趕的人一路找他們、卻找不著。
    [kjv] And they went, and came unto the mountain, and abode there three days, until the pursuers were returned: and the pursuers sought them throughout all the way, but found them not.
    [strongs] 1980 And they left 0935 and came 2022 to the mountain, 3885 and stayed 8033 there 7969 three 3117 days, 5704 until 7725 had returned 7291 the pursuers. 8446 And searched 7291 the pursuers 3605 in all 1870 the way, 3808 but not 4672 found {them}.
2:23 [cbb5] 二人就下山回來、過了河、到嫩的兒子約書亞那裡、向他述說所遭遇的一切事。
    [kjv] So the two men returned, and descended from the mountain, and passed over, and came to Joshua the son of Nun, and told him all things that befell them:
    [strongs] 7725 And returned 8147 two 0376 the men, 1980 and came down 2022 from the mountain, 5674 and crossed 0935 and came 0413 to 3091 Joshua, 1121 the son of 5126 Nun, 5041 and reported 0000 to him 3605 all 4672 that had happened 0000 to them.
2:24 [cbb5] 又對約書亞說、耶和華果然將那全地交在我們手中、那地的一切居民、在我們面前心都消化了。
    [kjv] And they said unto Joshua, Truly the LORD hath delivered into our hands all the land; for even all the inhabitants of the country do faint because of us.
    [strongs] 0559 And they said 0413 to 3091 Joshua, Truly has given 3068 Yahweh 0302 into our hands 3605 all 0776 the land. 1571 And also, 4549 have melted 3605 all 3427 the inhabitants of 0776 the land 6440 ahead of us.
