24:1 [cbb5] 約書亞將以色列的眾支派聚集在示劍．召了以色列的長老、族長、審判官、並官長來、他們就站在　神面前．
    [kjv] And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their heads, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God.
    [strongs] 0622 And gathered 3091 Joshua 3605 all 7626 the tribes of 3478 Israel 7928 to Shechem, 7121 and called 3205 for the elders of 3478 Israel 7218 and for its heads 8199 and for its judges 7860 and for its officers. 3320 And they placed themselves 6440 in the presence of 0430 God.
24:2 [cbb5] 約書亞對眾民說、耶和華以色列的　神如此說、古時你們的列祖、就是亞伯拉罕、和拿鶴的父親他拉、住在大河那邊事奉別神．
    [kjv] And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3091 Joshua 3605 to all 5971 the people, 3541 Thus 0559 says 3068 Yahweh, 0430 the God of 3478 Israel, 1973 Beyond 5104 the {Euphrates} River 2421 lived 0001 your forefathers 5709 in the past, 8646 Terah, 0001 the father of 0085 Abraham, 0001 and the father of 5752 Nahor, 5647 and they served 0430 gods 0312 other.
24:3 [cbb5] 我將你們的祖宗亞伯拉罕、從大河那邊帶來、領他走遍迦南全地、又使他的子孫眾多、把以撒賜給他．
    [kjv] And I took your father Abraham from the other side of the flood, and led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seed, and gave him Isaac.
    [strongs] 3947 And I took 0000 your 0001 father 0085 Abraham 5676 from beyond 5104 the River, 1980 and caused to go 0000 him 3605 through all 0776 the land of 3667 Canaan, 7235 and multiplied 2233 his seed, 5414 and gave 0000 to him 3327 Isaac.
24:4 [cbb5] 又把雅各和以掃賜給以撒、將西珥山賜給以掃為業．後來雅各和他的子孫下到埃及去了．
    [kjv] And I gave unto Isaac Jacob and Esau: and I gave unto Esau mount Seir, to possess it; but Jacob and his children went down into Egypt.
    [strongs] 5414 And I gave 3327 to Isaac 3290 Jacob 6215 and Esau. 5414 And I gave 6215 to Esau 2022 Mount 8165 Seir 3423 to possess 0000 it. 3290 And Jacob 1121 and his sons 3387 went down 4714 to Egypt.
24:5 [cbb5] 我差遣摩西、亞倫、並照我在埃及中所行的降災與埃及．然後把你們領出來．
    [kjv] I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt, according to that which I did among them: and afterward I brought you out.

24:6 [cbb5] 我領你們列祖出埃及、他們就到了紅海、埃及人帶領車輛馬兵、追趕你們列祖到紅海．
    [kjv] And I brought your fathers out of Egypt: and ye came unto the sea; and the Egyptians pursued after your fathers with chariots and horsemen unto the Red sea.
    [strongs] 3318 And I brought out 0001 your forefathers 4714 from Egypt, 1980 and you went 3220 into the sea, 7291 and chased 4714 the Egyptians 0310 after 0001 your forefathers 7393 with chariots 6571 and with horsemen 3220 into the Sea of 5488 Reeds.
24:7 [cbb5] 你們列祖哀求耶和華、他就使你們和埃及人中間黑暗了．又使海水淹沒埃及人．我在埃及所行的事、你們親眼見過。你們在曠野也住了許多年日．
    [kjv] And when they cried unto the LORD, he put darkness between you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea upon them, and covered them; and your eyes have seen what I have done in Egypt: and ye dwelt in the wilderness a long season.
    [strongs] 2199 And they cried 3068 to Yahweh, 5414 and He set 3990 thick darkness 0996 between you 0000 and 4714 the Egyptians 0935 and brought 0000 upon him 7243 the 3220 sea 3680 and covered him. 7200 And saw 5869 your eyes 0834 that which 6213 I have done 4714 in Egypt. 3427 And you lived 4057 in the desert 3117 {for} days 7227 many.
24:8 [cbb5] 我領你們到約但河東、亞摩利人所住之地．他們與你們爭戰、我將他們交在你們手中、你們便得了他們的地為業．我也在你們面前、將他們滅絕。
    [kjv] And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt on the other side Jordan; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand, that ye might possess their land; and I destroyed them from before you.
    [strongs] 3318 And I brought 0000 you 0413 into 0776 the land of 0567 the Amorite 3427 who lived 1973 beyond 3383 the Jordan {River}. 3898 And they fought 0000 with you, 5414 and I gave 0000 them 3027 into your hand, 3423 and seized 0127 their land. 8045 And I destroyed them 6440 before you.
24:9 [cbb5] 那時摩押王西撥的兒子巴勒、起來攻擊以色列人．打發人召了比珥的兒子巴蘭來、咒詛你們．
    [kjv] Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you:
    [strongs] 2224 And rose 1111 Balak, 1121 the son of 6834 Zippor, 4428 the king of 4124 Moab, 3898 and fought 3478 against Israel, 7971 and sent 7121 and called 1109 for Balaam, 1121 the son of 1160 Beor, 6893 to curse 0000 you.
24:10 [cbb5] 我不肯聽巴蘭的話、所以他倒為你們連連祝福。這樣、我便救你們脫離巴勒的手．
    [kjv] But I would not hearken unto Balaam; therefore he blessed you still: so I delivered you out of his hand.

24:11 [cbb5] 你們過了約但河、到了耶利哥、耶利哥人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、迦南人、赫人、革迦撒人、希未人、耶布斯人、都與你們爭戰。我把他們交在你們手裡。
    [kjv] And you went over Jordan, and came unto Jericho: and the men of Jericho fought against you, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Girgashites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; and I delivered them into your hand.
    [strongs] 5674 And you crossed 7243 the 3383 Jordan {River} 0935 and came 0413 to 3405 Jericho. 3898 And fought 0000 against you, 1167 the masters of 3405 Jericho, 0567 the Amorite, 6522 and the Perizzite, 3669 and the Canaanite, 2850 and the Hittite, 1622 and the Girgashite, 2340 the Hivite, 2983 and the Jebusite. 5414 And I delivered 0000 them 3027 into your hand.
24:12 [cbb5] 我打發黃蜂飛在你們前面、將亞摩利人的二王、從你們面前攆出、並不是用你的刀、也不是用你的弓。
    [kjv] And I sent the hornet before you, which drave them out from before you, even the two kings of the Amorites; but not with thy sword, nor with thy bow.
    [strongs] 7921 And I sent 6440 in front of you 7243 the 6880 hornet, 7993 and threw 0000 it out 0000 them 6440 in front of you, 8147 two 4428 kings of 0567 the Amorite, 3808 not 2719 by your sword 3808 nor 7198 by your bow.
24:13 [cbb5] 我賜給你們地土、非你們所修治的．我賜給你們城邑、非你們所建造的．你們就住在其中．又得喫非你們所栽種的葡萄園、橄欖園的果子。
    [kjv] And I have given you a land for which ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and ye dwell in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which ye planted not do ye eat.
    [strongs] 5414 And I have given 0000 to you 0776 a land 0834 which 3021 you have not labored 0000 for, 5892 and towns 0834 which 1129 you have not, built 3427 and you live 0000 in them. 3751 of vineyards 2132 and oliveyards 0834 which 3808 not 5193 you did plant, 0859 You 0398 are eating.
24:14 [cbb5] 現在你們要敬畏耶和華、誠心實意地事奉他．將你們列祖在大河那邊和在埃及所事奉的神除掉、去事奉耶和華．
    [kjv] Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.
    [strongs] 6258 Now, then, 3372 revere 3068 Yahweh, 5647 and serve 0000 Him 8459 with sincerity 0571 and truth, 7725 and turn away 0430 from the gods 0834 which 5647 served 0001 your forefathers 1973 beyond 5104 the {Euphrates} River, 4714 and in Egypt, 5647 and serve 3068 Yahweh.
24:15 [cbb5] 若是你們以事奉耶和華為不好、今日就可以選擇所要事奉的、是你們列祖在大河那邊所事奉的神呢、是你們所住這地的亞摩利人的神呢。至於我、和我家、我們必定事奉耶和華。
    [kjv] And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.
    [strongs] 0000 And if 7451 {it is} wrong 5869 in your eyes 5647 to serve 3068 Yahweh, 0977 choose 0000 for yourselves 3117 today 0834 whom 6547 you will serve-- 0000 whether 7243 the 0430 gods 0834 whom 5647 served 0001 your forefathers, 0834 which {were} 1973 beyond 5104 the River, 0000 or 0430 the gods of 0567 the Amorite 0000 whose 0000 you 3427 are dwelling 0776 in land, 0000 but as for me 1004 and my household, 5647 we will serve 3068 Yahweh!
24:16 [cbb5] 百姓回答說、我們斷不敢離棄耶和華去事奉別神．
    [kjv] And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;
    [strongs] 1696 And spoke 5971 the people 0559 and said, 2486 Far be it 0000 from us 5800 to abandon 3068 Yahweh, 5647 to serve 0430 gods 0312 other,
24:17 [cbb5] 因耶和華我們的　神、曾將我們和我們列祖從埃及地的為奴之家領出來、在我們眼前行了那些大神蹟、在我們所行的道上、所經過的諸國、都保護了我們。
    [kjv] For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:

24:18 [cbb5] 耶和華又把住此地的亞摩利人、都從我們面前趕出去．所以我們必事奉耶和華、因為他是我們的　神。
    [kjv] And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God.
    [strongs] 1644 And has thrown out 3068 Yahweh 3605 all 5971 the peoples, 0589 even 0567 the Amorite 3427 living in 0776 the land, 6440 before us. 1571 Also 0587 we 5647 will serve 3068 Yahweh, 3588 because 1931 He {is} 0430 our God.
24:19 [cbb5] 約書亞對百姓說、你們不能事奉耶和華．因為他是聖潔的　神、是忌邪的　神、必不赦免你們的過犯罪惡．
    [kjv] And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.
    [strongs] 0559 But said 3091 Joshua 0413 to 5971 the people. 3808 not 3201 You can 5647 serve 3068 Yahweh, 3588 because 0430 a God 6944 holy 1931 He {is}. 0410 a God 7067 jealous 1931 He {is}. 3808 not 5375 He will lift up 6588 your transgressions 0000 or 0000 your 2398 sins.
24:20 [cbb5] 你們若離棄耶和華去事奉外邦神、耶和華在降福之後、必轉而降禍與你們、把你們滅絕。
    [kjv] If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.
    [strongs] 3588 If 5800 you abandon 3068 Yahweh, 5647 and will serve 0430 gods 2114 strange, 7725 then He will turn 7489 and do harm 0000 to you, 0398 and consume 0000 you, 0310 after 3190 He has done good 0000 to you.
24:21 [cbb5] 百姓回答約書亞說、不然、我們定要事奉耶和華。
    [kjv] And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve the LORD.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 5971 the people 0413 to 3091 Joshua, 3808 No, 3588 but 3068 Yahweh 5647 we will serve.
24:22 [cbb5] 約書亞對百姓說、你們選定耶和華要事奉他、你們自己作見證罷。他們說、我們願意作見證。
    [kjv] And Joshua said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3091 Joshua 0413 to 5971 the people, 5707 witnesses 0857 You are 0000 against yourselves 3588 that 0859 you 0977 have chosen 0000 for yourselves 3068 Yahweh, 5647 to serve 0000 Him. 0559 And they said, 5707 {We are} witnesses.
24:23 [cbb5] 約書亞說、你們現在要除掉你們中間的外邦神、專心歸向耶和華以色列的　神。
    [kjv] Now therefore put away, said he, the strange gods which are among you, and incline your heart unto the LORD God of Israel.
    [strongs] 6258 And now, 7725 turn away 4480 from 0430 gods 5236 the strange 0834 which {are} 0000 among you, 5186 and incline 0000 your 3820 heart 0413 toward 3068 Yahweh, 0430 the God of 3478 Israel.
24:24 [cbb5] 百姓回答約書亞說、我們必事奉耶和華我們的　神、聽從他的話。
    [kjv] And the people said unto Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 5971 the people 0413 to 3091 Joshua, 3068 Yahweh, 0430 our God 5647 We will serve. 6963 And to His voice 8085 we will listen.
24:25 [cbb5] 當日約書亞就與百姓立約、在示劍為他們立定律例典章。
    [kjv] So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shechem.
    [strongs] 3772 And cut 3091 Joshua 1285 a covenant 5971 with the people 3117 on day 1931 that, 5186 and set 0000 on them 2706 a law 4941 and an judgment, 7927 in Shechem.
24:26 [cbb5] 約書亞將這些話都寫在　神的律法書上．又將一塊大石頭、立在橡樹下耶和華的聖所旁邊。
    [kjv] And Joshua wrote these words in the book of the law of God, and took a great stone, and set it up there under an oak, that was by the sanctuary of the LORD.
    [strongs] 3789 And wrote 3091 Joshua 1697 words 0428 these 5612 in the Book of 8452 the Law of 0430 God, 3947 and took 0068 a stone 1419 large, 6965 and raised it 8033 there 8478 under 0424 the oak 0834 that {was} 4720 beside the sanctuary of 3068 Yahweh.
24:27 [cbb5] 約書亞對百姓說、看哪、這石頭可以向我們作見證．因為是聽見了耶和華所吩咐我們的一切話、倘或你們背棄你們的　神、這石頭就可以向你們作見證〔倘或云云或作所以要向你們作見證免得你們背棄耶和華你們的　神〕
    [kjv] And Joshua said unto all the people, Behold, this stone shall be a witness unto us; for it hath heard all the words of the LORD which he spake unto us: it shall be therefore a witness unto you, lest ye deny your God.

24:28 [cbb5] 於是約書亞打發百姓各歸自己的地業去了。
    [kjv] So Joshua let the people depart, every man unto his inheritance.

24:29 [cbb5] 這些事以後、耶和華的僕人嫩的兒子約書亞、正一百一十歲就死了。
    [kjv] And it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being an hundred and ten years old.

24:30 [cbb5] 以色列人將他葬在他地業的境內、就是在以法蓮山地的亭拿西拉在迦實山的北邊。
    [kjv] And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathserah, which is in mount Ephraim, on the north side of the hill of Gaash.
    [strongs] 6912 And they buried 0000 him 1366 in the border of 5159 his inheritance, 8556 in Timnath-Serah 0834 which {is} 2022 in the hills of 0669 Ephraim, 6828 on the north 2022 of the hill of 1608 Gaash.
24:31 [cbb5] 約書亞在世、和約書亞死後、那些知道耶和華為以色列人所行諸事的長老、還在的時候、以色列人事奉耶和華。
    [kjv] And Israel served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that overlived Joshua, and which had known all the works of the LORD, that he had done for Israel.

24:32 [cbb5] 以色列人從埃及所帶來約瑟的骸骨、葬埋在示劍．就是在雅各從前用一百塊銀子向示劍的父親哈抹的子孫所買的那塊地裡．這就作了約瑟子孫的產業。
    [kjv] And the bones of Joseph, which the children of Israel brought up out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem, in a parcel of ground which Jacob bought of the sons of Hamor the father of Shechem for an hundred pieces of silver: and it became the inheritance of the children of Joseph.
    [strongs] 0000 And 6106 the bones of 3127 Joseph, 0834 which 5927 brought up 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 4714 out of Egypt, 6912 they buried 7927 in Shechem, 2506 in the portion of 7704 the field 0834 which 7069 bought 3290 Jacob 4480 from 1121 the son of 2544 Hamor, 0001 the father of 7907 Shechem 3967 for a hundred 3701 silver pieces. 1961 And they were 1121 to the sons of 3127 Joseph 5159 for an inheritance.
24:33 [cbb5] 亞倫的兒子以利亞撒也死了、就把他葬在他兒子非尼哈以法蓮山地所得的小山上。
    [kjv] And Eleazar the son of Aaron died; and they buried him in a hill that pertained to Phinehas his son, which was given him in mount Ephraim.
    [strongs] 0499 And Eleazar, 0175 the son of Aaron, 4191 died, 6912 and they buried 0000 him 2022 in the hill of 6372 Phinehas, 1121 his son, 0834 which 5414 was given 0000 to him 2022 in the hills of 0669 Ephraim.
