11:1 [cbb5] 基列人耶弗他是個大能的勇士、是妓女的兒子。耶弗他是基列所生的。
    [kjv] Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valour, and he was the son of an harlot: and Gilead begat Jephthah.
    [strongs] 3316 And Jephthah 1569 the Gileadite 1961 was 1368 a warrior 2428 strong. 1931 And he {was} 1121 the son of 0802 a woman, 6948 a prostitute, 3205 and fathered 1568 Gilead 3316 Jephthah.
11:2 [cbb5] 基列的妻也生了幾個兒子．他妻所生的兒子長大了、就趕逐耶弗他說、你不可在我們父家承受產業、因為你是妓女的兒子。
    [kjv] And Gilead's wife bare him sons; and his wife's sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father's house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.
    [strongs] 3205 And gave birth 0802 the wife of 1568 Gilead 0000 for him 1121 sons. 1430 And grew up 1121 the sons of 0802 the wife, 1644 and threw out 3316 Jephthah, 0559 and said 0000 to him, 3808 not 5157 You will inherit 1004 in the household of 0001 our father, 0000 because 1121 the son of 0802 woman 0312 another 0859 you {are}.
11:3 [cbb5] 耶弗他就逃避他的弟兄、去住在陀伯地、有些匪徒到他那裡聚集、與他一同出入。
    [kjv] Then Jephthah fled from his brethren, and dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain men to Jephthah, and went out with him.
    [strongs] 5127 And ran away 3316 Jephthah 6480 from the face of 0251 his brothers, 3427 and lived 0776 in the land of 2897 Tob. 3950 And were gathered 0413 to 3316 Jephthah 0376 men 7386 worthless, 5927 and they went out 0000 with him.
11:4 [cbb5] 過了些日子亞捫人攻打以色列。
    [kjv] And it came to pass in process of time, that the children of Ammon made war against Israel.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 3117 after some time, 3898 that fought 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon 0000 with 3478 Israel.
11:5 [cbb5] 亞捫人攻打以色列的時候、基列的長老到陀伯地去、要叫耶弗他回來．
    [kjv] And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob:
    [strongs] 1961 And it came to pass 0834 when 3898 fought 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon 0000 with 3478 Israel, 1980 went 2205 the elders of 1568 Gilead 3947 to bring 3316 Jephthah 0776 from the land of 2897 Tob.
11:6 [cbb5] 對耶弗他說、請你來作我們的元帥、我們好與亞捫人爭戰。
    [kjv] And they said unto Jephthah, Come, and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon.
    [strongs] 0559 And they said 3316 to Jephthah, 3053 Come, 1961 and you will be 0000 to us 7101 for a commander, 3898 so that we may fight 1121 against the sons of 5983 Ammon.
11:7 [cbb5] 耶弗他回答基列的長老說、從前你們不是恨我、趕逐我出離父家麼．現在你們遭遇急難為何到我這裡來呢。
    [kjv] And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father's house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress?
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3316 Jephthah 2205 to the elders of 1568 Gilead, 3808 Have not 0000 you 7852 hated 0000 me? 0000 Yes, 1644 you threw me 1004 out of the household of 0001 my father. 4100 Why 0935 have you come 0000 to me 6258 now, 0834 when 6889 distress {is} 0000 to you?
11:8 [cbb5] 基列的長老回答耶弗他、說、現在我們到你這裡來、是要你同我們去、與亞捫人爭戰．你可以作基列一切居民的領袖。
    [kjv] And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 2205 the elders of 1568 Gilead 3316 to Jephthah, 5921 For this reason 6258 now 7725 we have come back 0000 to you. 1980 And you will go 0000 with us 3898 and fight 1121 against the sons of 5983 Ammon. 1961 Aand you will be 0000 to us 1538 for a head, 3605 to all 5971 the people of 1568 Gilead.
11:9 [cbb5] 耶弗他對基列的長老說、你們叫我回去、與亞捫人爭戰、耶和華把他交給我、我可以作你們的領袖麼。
    [kjv] And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, If ye bring me home again to fight against the children of Ammon, and the LORD deliver them before me, shall I be your head?
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3316 Jephthah 0413 to 2205 the elders of 1568 Gilead, 0518 If 7725 are taking back 0859 you 0000 me 3898 to fight 1121 against the sons of 5983 Ammon, 5414 and gives up 3068 Yahweh 0000 them 6440 in front of me, 0595 I, 1961 will I be 0000 your 7218 head?
11:10 [cbb5] 基列的長老回答耶弗他說、有耶和華在你我中間作見證、我們必定照你的話行。
    [kjv] And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, The LORD be witness between us, if we do not so according to thy words.

11:11 [cbb5] 於是耶弗他同基列的長老回去、百姓就立耶弗他作領袖、作元帥．耶弗他在米斯巴將自己的一切話、陳明在耶和華面前。
    [kjv] Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and captain over them: and Jephthah uttered all his words before the LORD in Mizpeh.
    [strongs] 1980 And went 3316 Jephthah 2205 with the elders of 1568 Gilead, 7760 and appointed 5971 the people 0000 him 0000 over them, 7218 for head 7101 and for commander. 1696 And spoke 3316 Jephthah 3605 all 1697 his words 6440 in front of 3068 Yahweh 4709 in Mizpeh.
11:12 [cbb5] 耶弗他打發使者去見亞捫人的王、說、你與我有甚麼相干、竟來到我國中攻打我呢。
    [kjv] And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land?
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 3316 Jephthah 4397 messengers 0413 to 4428 the king of 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon, 0559 saying, 4100 What {is} 0000 to me 0000 and to you, 0000 that 0935 you have come 0000 to me, 3898 to fight 0776 in my land?
11:13 [cbb5] 亞捫人的王回答耶弗他的使者說、因為以色列人從埃及上來的時候、佔據我的地、從亞嫩河到雅博河、直到約但河．現在你要好好的將這地歸還罷。
    [kjv] And the king of the children of Ammon answered unto the messengers of Jephthah, Because Israel took away my land, when they came up out of Egypt, from Arnon even unto Jabbok, and unto Jordan: now therefore restore those lands again peaceably.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 4428 the king of 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon to 4397 the messengers of 3316 Jephthah, 3588 Because 3947 took 3478 Israel 0776 my land 1980 when he came up 4714 out of Egypt, 0769 from Arnon 5704 even to 2999 the Jabbok {River}, 0000 and to 3383 the Jordan {River}. 6258 And now, 7725 restore 0000 them 7965 in peace.
11:14 [cbb5] 耶弗他又打發使者去見亞捫人的王、
    [kjv] And Jephthah sent messengers again unto the king of the children of Ammon:
    [strongs] 3254 And again 5750 yet 3316 Jephthah 7971 sent 4397 messengers 0413 to 4428 the king of 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon,
11:15 [cbb5] 對他說、耶弗他如此說、以色列人並沒有佔據摩押地、和亞捫人的地．
    [kjv] And said unto him, Thus saith Jephthah, Israel took not away the land of Moab, nor the land of the children of Ammon:
    [strongs] 0559 and said 0000 to him, 3541 Thus 0559 says 3316 Jephthah, 3808 not 3947 did take 3478 Israel 0776 the land of 4124 Moab, 0000 and 0776 the land of 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon.
11:16 [cbb5] 以色列人從埃及上來、乃是經過曠野到紅海、來到加低斯．
    [kjv] But when Israel came up from Egypt, and walked through the wilderness unto the Red sea, and came to Kadesh;
    [strongs] 0000 Because 1980 when they came up 4714 out of Egypt, 1980 went 3478 Israel 4057 in the desert 3220 to the Sea of 5488 Reeds 0935 and came in 6946 at Kadesh.
11:17 [cbb5] 就打發使者去見以東王、說、求你容我從你的地經過．以東王卻不應允。又照樣打發使者去見摩押王．他也不允准、以色列人就住在加低斯。
    [kjv] Then Israel sent messengers unto the king of Edom, saying, Let me, I pray thee, pass through thy land: but the king of Edom would not hearken thereto. And in like manner they sent unto the king of Moab: but he would not consent: and Israel abode in Kadesh.
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 3478 Israel 4397 messengers 0413 to 4428 the king of 0123 Edom, 0559 saying, 5674 Let me pass on, 4994 please 0776 through your land. 3808 But not 8085 did listen 4428 the king of 0123 Edom. 1571 And also 0413 to 4428 the king of 4124 Moab, 7971 {Israel} sent, 3808 and not 0014 he was willing. 5975 And remained 3478 Israel 6946 in Kadesh.
11:18 [cbb5] 他們又經過曠野、繞著以東和摩押地、從摩押地的東邊過來、在亞嫩河邊安營、並沒有入摩押的境內、因為亞嫩河是摩押的邊界。
    [kjv] Then they went along through the wilderness, and compassed the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, but came not within the border of Moab: for Arnon was the border of Moab.
    [strongs] 1980 And he went 4057 through the desert, 5437 and went around 0776 the land of 0123 Edom 0000 and 0776 the land of 4124 Moab, 0935 and came 4217 at the rising of 8121 the sun 0776 to the land of 4124 Moab. 2583 And they camped 1973 beyond 0769 Arnon, 3808 and not 0935 did come 1366 into the border of 4124 Moab, 0000 because 0769 Arnon {was} 1366 the border of 4124 Moab.
11:19 [cbb5] 以色列人打發使者去見亞摩利王西宏、就是希實本的王、對他說、求你容我們從你的地經過、往我們自己的地方去。
    [kjv] And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, the king of Heshbon; and Israel said unto him, Let us pass, we pray thee, through thy land into my place.
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 3478 Israel 4397 messengers 0413 to 5511 Sihon, 4428 the king of 0567 the Amorites, 4428 the king of 2809 Heshbon, 0559 and said 0000 to him 3478 Israel, 5674 Let us pass on, 4994 please, 0776 through your land 0413 to 4725 my place.
11:20 [cbb5] 西宏卻不信服以色列人、不容他們經過他的境界．乃招聚他的眾民、在雅雜安營、與以色列人爭戰。
    [kjv] But Sihon trusted not Israel to pass through his coast: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and pitched in Jahaz, and fought against Israel.
    [strongs] 3808 And not 0539 did trust 5511 Sihon 3478 Israel 5674 to pass on 1157 through 3411 his border, 0622 and gathered 5511 Sihon 3605 all of 5971 his people 2593 and he camped 3096 in Jahaz, 3898 and fought 0000 with 3478 Israel.
11:21 [cbb5] 耶和華以色列的　神、將西宏和他的眾民都交在以色列人手中、以色列人就擊殺他們、得了亞摩利人的全地、
    [kjv] And the LORD God of Israel delivered Sihon and all his people into the hand of Israel, and they smote them: so Israel possessed all the land of the Amorites, the inhabitants of that country.
    [strongs] 5414 And gave 3068 Yahweh, 0430 the God of 3478 Israel, 5511 Sihon 3605 and all 5971 his people 3027 into the hand of 3478 Israel, 5221 and they struck them, 3423 and seized 3478 Israel 3605 all 0776 the land of 0567 the Amorites, 3427 the inhabitants of 0776 land 0000 that.
11:22 [cbb5] 從亞嫩河到雅博河、從曠野直到約但河。
    [kjv] And they possessed all the coasts of the Amorites, from Arnon even unto Jabbok, and from the wilderness even unto Jordan.
    [strongs] 3423 And they seized 3605 all 1366 the border of 0567 the Amorites, 0769 from Arnon 5704 even to 2999 the Jabbok {River}, 0000 and from 4057 the desert 5704 even to 3383 the Jordan {River}.
11:23 [cbb5] 耶和華以色列的　神、在他百姓以色列面前趕出亞摩利人、你竟要得他們的地麼．
    [kjv] So now the LORD God of Israel hath dispossessed the Amorites from before his people Israel, and shouldest thou possess it?
    [strongs] 6258 And now, 3068 Yahweh, 0430 the God of 3478 Israel, 2423 has expelled 5984 the Amorites 6440 from before 5971 His people 3478 Israel, 0000 and you 2423 would possess it?
11:24 [cbb5] 你的神基抹所賜你的地你不是得為業麼。耶和華我們的　神在我們面前所趕出的人我們就得他的地。
    [kjv] Wilt not thou possess that which Chemosh thy god giveth thee to possess? So whomsoever the LORD our God shall drive out from before us, them will we possess.
    [strongs] 3808 Do not 0834 whatever 2423 causes you to possess? 0000 And 3605 all 0834 that which 2423 has expelled 3068 Yahweh, 0430 our God, 6440 from before us, 3423 we will possess.
11:25 [cbb5] 難道你比摩押王西撥的兒子巴勒還強麼．他曾與以色列人爭競、或是與他們爭戰麼。
    [kjv] And now art thou any thing better than Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab? did he ever strive against Israel, or did he ever fight against them,
    [strongs] 6258 And now, 2895 {are} better 3605 to all 0000 of you 1111 than Balak, 1121 the son of 6834 Zippor, 4428 the king of 4124 Moab. 7378 Did indeed 7378 he strive 0000 with 3478 Israel? 6213 Did 3896 he indeed 3898 fight 0000 against them?
11:26 [cbb5] 以色列人住希實本和屬希實本的鄉村、亞羅珥和屬亞羅珥的鄉村、並沿亞嫩河的一切城邑、已經有三百年了．在這三百年之內你們為甚麼沒有取回這些地方呢．
    [kjv] While Israel dwelt in Heshbon and her towns, and in Aroer and her towns, and in all the cities that be along by the coasts of Arnon, three hundred years? why therefore did ye not recover them within that time?
    [strongs] 7673 When lived 3478 Israel 2809 in Heshbon 1323 and in its daughter-towns, 6177 and in Aroer 1323 and in its daughter-towns, 3605 and in all 5892 the towns 0834 which {were} 3027 by the hands of 0769 Arnon 7969 three 3967 hundred 8141 years, 4100 Why 3808 not 5337 have you delivered them 6256 in time 1931 that?
11:27 [cbb5] 原來我沒有得罪你、你卻攻打我、惡待我．願審判人的耶和華、今日在以色列人和亞捫人中間、判斷是非。
    [kjv] Wherefore I have not sinned against thee, but thou doest me wrong to war against me: the LORD the Judge be judge this day between the children of Israel and the children of Ammon.
    [strongs] 0595 So I 3808 not 2398 have sinned 0000 against you, 0000 but you 6213 are doing 0000 me 7451 wrong, 3898 to fight 0000 against me. 8199 May judge 3068 Yahweh, 8199 the Judge, 3117 today 0996 between 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 0996 and between 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon.
11:28 [cbb5] 但亞捫人的王不肯聽耶弗他打發人說的話。
    [kjv] Howbeit the king of the children of Ammon hearkened not unto the words of Jephthah which he sent him.
    [strongs] 3808 But not 8085 did listen 4428 the king of 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon 0413 to 1697 the words of 3316 Jephthah 0834 which 7921 he sent 0000 to him.
11:29 [cbb5] 耶和華的靈降在耶弗他身上、他就經過基列和瑪拿西、來到基列的米斯巴、又從米斯巴來到亞捫人那裡。
    [kjv] Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon Jephthah, and he passed over Gilead, and Manasseh, and passed over Mizpeh of Gilead, and from Mizpeh of Gilead he passed over unto the children of Ammon.
    [strongs] 1961 And was 0000 upon 3316 Jephthah 7307 the Spirit of 3068 Yahweh. 5674 And he passed through 1568 Gilead 0000 and 4519 Manasseh 5674 and passed through 4708 Mizpeh of 1568 Gilead. 4708 And from Mizpeh of 1568 Gilead 5674 he passed on 1121 {to} the sons of 5983 Ammon.
11:30 [cbb5] 耶弗他就向耶和華許願、說、你若將亞捫人交在我手中、
    [kjv] And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands,
    [strongs] 5088 And vowed 3316 Jephthah 5088 a vow 3068 to Yahweh, 0559 and said, 0518 If 5414 indeed 5414 You will give 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon 3027 into my hand,
11:31 [cbb5] 我從亞捫人那裡平平安安回來的時候、無論甚麼人、先從我家門出來迎接我、就必歸你、我也必將他獻上為燔祭。
    [kjv] Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the LORD's, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.
    [strongs] 1961 then it will be 3318 the thing outcoming, 0834 which 3318 comes out 1817 from the doors of 1004 my house 7125 to meet me 7725 when I return 7965 in peace 1121 from the sons of 5983 Ammon 1961 will belong 3068 to Yahweh, 5927 and I will offer it {instead of} 5930 a burnt offering.
11:32 [cbb5] 於是耶弗他往亞捫人那裡去、與他們爭戰．耶和華將他們交在他手中。
    [kjv] So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the LORD delivered them into his hands.
    [strongs] 5674 And passed over 3316 Jephthah 1121 to the sons of 5983 Ammon 3898 to fight 0000 against them. 5414 And gave them 3068 Yahweh 3027 into his hand.
11:33 [cbb5] 他就大大殺敗他們、從亞羅珥到米匿、直到亞備勒基拉明、攻取了二十座城．這樣亞捫人就被以色列人制伏了。
    [kjv] And he smote them from Aroer, even till thou come to Minnith, even twenty cities, and unto the plain of the vineyards, with a very great slaughter. Thus the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel.
    [strongs] 5221 And he struck them 6177 from Aroer, 5704 even until 0935 you come 4511 to Minnith, 6242 twenty 5892 cities, 0000 and to 0058 the meadow of 3754 the vineyards, 4347 a destruction 1419 great 3966 very. 3665 And were humbled 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon 6440 in front of 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel.
11:34 [cbb5] 耶弗他回米斯巴到了自己的家．不料、他女兒拿著鼓跳舞出來迎接他、是他獨生的．此外無兒無女。
    [kjv] And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.
    [strongs] 0935 And came 3316 Jephthah 4709 to Mizpeh 0413 to 1004 his house. 2009 And, look, 1359 his daughter 3318 came out 7125 to meet him 8569 with timbrels, 4346 and with choruses! 7535 And only 1931 she, 3173 she alone. 0369 There was not 0000 to him, 4480 of his own, 1121 son 0000 or 1323 daughter.
11:35 [cbb5] 耶弗他看見他、就撕裂衣服、說、哀哉、我的女兒阿、你使我甚是愁苦、叫我作難了．因為我已經向耶和華開口許願、不能挽回。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot go back.
    [strongs] 0000 And 7200 when he saw 0000 her, 7167 he tore 0899 his clothes 0559 and said, 0162 Alas, 1323 my daughter! 3766 very 3766 You have brought me low, 0859 and you 1961 are 3766 made me bow 0595 and I, 6475 I have opened 6310 my mouth 0413 to 3068 Yahweh, 3808 and not 3201 I am able 7725 to take it back!
11:36 [cbb5] 他女兒回答說、父阿、你既向耶和華開口、就當照你口中所說的向我行、因耶和華已經在仇敵亞捫人身上為你報仇。
    [kjv] And she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon.
    [strongs] 0559 And she said 0000 to him, 0001 My father, 6475 you have opened 6310 your mouth 3068 to Yahweh. 6213 Do 0000 to me 0834 whatever 3318 has gone out 6310 of your mouth, 0227 since 6213 has executed 0000 for you 3068 Yahweh 5360 vengeance 0341 on your enemies, 1121 on the sons of 5983 Ammon.
11:37 [cbb5] 又對父親說、有一件事求你允准．容我去兩個月、與同伴在山上、好哀哭我終為處女。
    [kjv] And she said unto her father, Let this thing be done for me: let me alone two months, that I may go up and down upon the mountains, and bewail my virginity, I and my fellows.
    [strongs] 0559 And she said 0413 to 0001 her father, 6312 Let be done 0000 to me 1697 thing 2088 this. 7503 Withdraw 0000 from me 8147 {for} two 3391 months, 1980 and let me go 3381 and descend 5921 upon 2022 the hills, 1058 and let me weep 0000 for 1331 my virginity, 0595 I 7464 and my friends.
11:38 [cbb5] 耶弗他說、你去罷．就容他去兩個月．他便和同伴去了、在山上為他終為處女哀哭。
    [kjv] And he said, Go. And he sent her away for two months: and she went with her companions, and bewailed her virginity upon the mountains.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said, 1980 Go. 7971 And he sent away 0000 her 2320 two months. 1980 And she went, 1931 she 7460 and her friends, 1058 and she wept 0000 for 1331 her virginity 0000 on 2022 the hills.
11:39 [cbb5] 兩月已滿、他回到父親那裡、父親就照所許的願向他行了．女兒終身沒有親近男子。
    [kjv] And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned unto her father, who did with her according to his vow which he had vowed: and she knew no man. And it was a custom in Israel,

11:40 [cbb5] 此後以色列中有個規矩．每年以色列的女子去為基列人耶弗他的女兒哀哭四天。
    [kjv] That the daughters of Israel went yearly to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite four days in a year.
