12:1 [cbb5] 以法蓮人聚集、到了北方、對耶弗他說、你去與亞捫人爭戰、為甚麼沒有招我們同去呢．我們必用火燒你和你的房屋。
    [kjv] And the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together, and went northward, and said unto Jephthah, Wherefore passedst thou over to fight against the children of Ammon, and didst not call us to go with thee? we will burn thine house upon thee with fire.
    [strongs] 0376 the men of 0669 Ephraim 5674 and crossed 6828 northward, 0559 and said 3316 to Jephthah, 4100 Why 5674 have you crossed over 3898 to fight 1121 with the sons of 5983 Ammon 0000 and for us 3808 not 7121 you have called 1980 to go 5973 with you? 1004 your house 8313 We will burn 5921 over you 0784 with fire!
12:2 [cbb5] 耶弗他對他們說、我和我的民與亞捫人大大爭戰．我招你們來、你們竟沒有來救我脫離他們的手。
    [kjv] And Jephthah said unto them, I and my people were at great strife with the children of Ammon; and when I called you, ye delivered me not out of their hands.

12:3 [cbb5] 我見你們不來救我、我就拚命前去攻擊亞捫人、耶和華將他們交在我手中．你們今日為甚麼上我這裡來攻打我呢。
    [kjv] And when I saw that ye delivered me not, I put my life in my hands, and passed over against the children of Ammon, and the LORD delivered them into my hand: wherefore then are ye come up unto me this day, to fight against me?
    [strongs] 7200 And when I saw 3588 that 0369 you did not 3467 deliver {me} 7760 I put 5315 my life 3027 in my hand 5674 and passed over 0413 to 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon. 5414 And gave them 3068 Yahweh 3027 into my hand. 4100 And why 1980 have you come up 0000 to me 3117 day 0000 this 3898 to fight 0000 with me?
12:4 [cbb5] 於是耶弗他招聚基列人、與以法蓮人爭戰．基列人擊殺以法蓮人、是因他們說、你們基列人在以法蓮瑪拿西中間、不過是以法蓮逃亡的人。
    [kjv] Then Jephthah gathered together all the men of Gilead, and fought with Ephraim: and the men of Gilead smote Ephraim, because they said, Ye Gileadites are fugitives of Ephraim among the Ephraimites, and among the Manassites.

    [kjv] And the Gileadites took the passages of Jordan before the Ephraimites: and it was so, that when those Ephraimites which were escaped said, Let me go over; that the men of Gilead said unto him, Art thou an Ephraimite? If he said, Nay;
    [strongs] 3920 And captured 1568 Gilead 4569 the fords of 3383 the Jordan {River} 0669 in front of Ephraim. 1961 And it was, 3588 when 0559 said 6412 the fugitives from 0669 Ephraim, 5674 Let me pass over, 0559 then said 0000 to him 0376 the men of 1568 Gilead, 0673 an Ephraimite 0000 You are! 0559 And he said, 3808 No!
12:6 [cbb5] 就對他說、你說示播列．以法蓮人因為咬不真字音、便說西播列．基列人就將他拿住、殺在約但河的渡口。那時以法蓮人被殺的、有四萬二千人。
    [kjv] Then said they unto him, Say now Shibboleth: and he said Sibboleth: for he could not frame to pronounce it right. Then they took him, and slew him at the passages of Jordan: and there fell at that time of the Ephraimites forty and two thousand.

    [kjv] And Jephthah judged Israel six years. Then died Jephthah the Gileadite, and was buried in one of the cities of Gilead.
    [strongs] 8199 And judged 3316 Jephthah 3478 Israel 8337 six 8141 years. 4191 And died 3316 Jephthah, 1569 the Gileadite, 6912 and was buried 5892 in the cities of 1568 Gilead.
12:8 [cbb5] 耶弗他以後、有伯利恆人以比讚作以色列的士師。
    [kjv] And after him Ibzan of Bethlehem judged Israel.
    [strongs] 8199 And judged 0310 after him 3478 Israel 0078 Ibzan 1035 of Bethlehem.
12:9 [cbb5] 他有三十個兒子、三十個女兒、女兒都嫁出去了．他給眾子從外鄉娶了三十個媳婦。他作以色列的士師七年。
    [kjv] And he had thirty sons, and thirty daughters, whom he sent abroad, and took in thirty daughters from abroad for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years.
    [strongs] 1961 And was 0000 to him 7970 thirty 1121 sons. 7970 And thirty 1323 daughters 7921 he sent 2351 abroad, 7970 and thirty 1323 daughters 0935 he brought 1121 for his sons 2351 from abroad. 3198 And he judged 3478 Israel 7651 {for} seven 8141 years.

    [kjv] And after him Elon, a Zebulonite, judged Israel; and he judged Israel ten years.

12:14 [cbb5] 他有四十個兒子、三十個孫子、騎著七十匹驢駒．押頓作以色列的士師八年。
    [kjv] And he had forty sons and thirty nephews, that rode on threescore and ten ass colts: and he judged Israel eight years.
    [strongs] 1961 And was 0000 to him 0705 forty 1121 sons, 7970 and thirty 1121 sons of 1121 sons 7392 who rode 0000 on 7657 seventy 5895 male donkeys. 3198 And he judged 3478 Israel 8083 {for} eight 8141 years.
