14:1 [cbb5] 參孫下到亭拿、在那裡看見一個女子、是非利士人的女兒。
    [kjv] And Samson went down to Timnath, and saw a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines.
    [strongs] 5381 And went down 8123 Samson 8553 to Timnath 7200 and saw 0802 a woman 8553 in Timnath 1323 of the daughters of 6430 the Philistines,
14:2 [cbb5] 參孫上來稟告他父母說、我在亭拿看見一個女子、是非利士人的女兒、願你們給我娶來為妻。
    [kjv] And he came up, and told his father and his mother, and said, I have seen a woman in Timnath of the daughters of the Philistines: now therefore get her for me to wife.
    [strongs] 5927 and he came up 5046 and told 0001 his father 0517 and his mother, 0559 and said, 0802 a woman 7200 I have seen 8553 in Timnath, 1323 of the daughters of 6430 the Philistines. 6258 And now 3947 get 0000 her 0000 for me 0802 for a wife.
14:3 [cbb5] 他父母說、在你弟兄的女兒中、或在本國的民中、豈沒有一個女子、何至你去在未受割禮的非利士人中娶妻呢．參孫對他父親說、願你給我娶那女子、因我喜悅他。
    [kjv] Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0000 to him 0001 his father 0517 and his mother, 0369 Is there not 1323 among daughters 0251 your brothers', 3605 and among all 5971 my people 0802 a woman 0000 that you 1980 {are} going 3947 to take 0802 a wife 4480 from 6430 the Philistines 6189 uncircumcised? 0559 And said 8123 Samson 0413 to 0001 his father, 0000 her 3947 Get for me, 0000 because she 3474 is pleasing 5869 in my eyes.
14:4 [cbb5] 他的父母卻不知道這事是出於耶和華、因為他找機會攻擊非利士人．那時非利士人轄制以色列人。
    [kjv] But his father and his mother knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines: for at that time the Philistines had dominion over Israel.
    [strongs] 0001 And his father 0517 and his mother 3808 not 3045 did know 0000 that 3068 from Yahweh 0000 it {was}, 0000 that 8385 an occasion 0000 He 1245 {was} seeking 6430 against the Philistines, 6256 because at time 0000 that 6430 the Philistines 4910 {were} ruling 3478 over Israel.
14:5 [cbb5] 參孫跟他父母下亭拿去、到了亭拿的葡萄園、見有一隻少壯獅子向他吼叫．
    [kjv] Then went Samson down, and his father and his mother, to Timnath, and came to the vineyards of Timnath: and, behold, a young lion roared against him.
    [strongs] 5381 And went down 8123 Samson 0001 and his father 0517 and his mother 8553 to Timnath, 0935 and they came 0413 to 3754 the vineyards of 8553 Timnath. 2009 And, listen, 0738 a young lion of 0738 the lions 7580 roaring 7125 to meet him,
14:6 [cbb5] 耶和華的靈大大感動參孫、他雖然手無器械、卻將獅子撕裂、如同撕裂山羊羔一樣．他行這事並沒有告訴父母。
    [kjv] And the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and he rent him as he would have rent a kid, and he had nothing in his hand: but he told not his father or his mother what he had done.
    [strongs] 6743 and came in a powerful way 0000 upon him 7307 the Spirit of 3068 Yahweh. 8156 And he tore it apart 8156 like the splitting of 1423 a kid. 1697 And anything 0369 there was not 3027 in his hand, 3808 but not 5046 he did tell 0001 his father 0517 and his mother 0000 what 6213 he had done.
14:7 [cbb5] 參孫下去與女子說話、就喜悅他。
    [kjv] And he went down, and talked with the woman; and she pleased Samson well.
    [strongs] 3381 And he went down 0557 and talked 0802 with the woman. 3474 And she was pleasing 5869 in the eyes of 8123 Samson.
14:8 [cbb5] 過了些日子、再下去要娶那女子、轉向道旁要看死獅、見有一群蜂子和蜜在死獅之內、
    [kjv] And after a time he returned to take her, and he turned aside to see the carcase of the lion: and, behold, there was a swarm of bees and honey in the carcase of the lion.
    [strongs] 7725 And he returned 3474 some days {later} 3947 to take her, 5493 and turned aside 7200 to see 4658 the remains of 0738 the lion. 2009 And, look, 5712 a swarm of 1682 bees {was} 1473 in the carcass of 0738 the lion, 1706 and honey.
14:9 [cbb5] 就用手取蜜、且喫且走、到了父母那裡、給他父母、他們也喫了．只是沒有告訴這蜜是從死獅之內取來的。
    [kjv] And he took thereof in his hands, and went on eating, and came to his father and mother, and he gave them, and they did eat: but he told not them that he had taken the honey out of the carcase of the lion.
    [strongs] 7287 And he scraped it out 0000 with 3027 his hands, 1980 and went on, 1980 walking 0398 and eating. 1980 And he went 0413 to 0001 his father 0000 and to 0517 his mother 5414 and gave {some} 0000 to them. 0398 And they ate, 3808 but not 5046 he did tell 0000 them 0000 that 1472 out of the carcass of 0738 the lion 7287 he had scraped 1706 the honey.
14:10 [cbb5] 他父親下去見女子．參孫在那裡設擺筵宴、因為向來少年人都有這個規矩。
    [kjv] So his father went down unto the woman: and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men to do.
    [strongs] 5381 And went down 0001 his father 0413 to 0802 the woman, 6213 and made 8033 there 8123 Samson 4900 a feast, 0000 because 3651 so 6213 {usually} did 5288 the young men.
14:11 [cbb5] 眾人看見參孫、就請了三十個人陪伴他。
    [kjv] And it came to pass, when they saw him, that they brought thirty companions to be with him.
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 7200 when they saw 0000 him, 3947 that they took 7970 thirty 4828 companions 1961 and they were 0000 with him.
14:12 [cbb5] 參孫對他們說、我給你們出一個謎語、你們在七日筵宴之內、若能猜出意思告訴我、我就給你們三十件裡衣、三十套衣裳．
    [kjv] And Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a riddle unto you: if ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of garments:
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0000 to them 8123 Samson, 2330 let me riddle 4994 Please 0000 to you 2420 a riddle. 0518 If 5046 clearly 5046 you declare 0000 it 0000 to me 7651 {in} the seven 3117 days of 4960 the feast, 4672 and find {it} out, 5414 then I will give 0000 to you 7970 thirty 0899 linen garments 7970 and thirty 2487 changes of 0899 clothing.
14:13 [cbb5] 你們若不能猜出意思告訴我、你們就給我三十件裡衣、三十套衣裳．他們說、請將謎語說給我們聽。
    [kjv] But if ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it.
    [strongs] 0518 But if 3808 not 3201 you are able 5046 to declare 0000 to me, 5414 then will give 0000 you 0000 to me 7970 thirty 0899 linen garments 7970 and thirty 2487 changes of 0899 clothing. 0559 And they said 0000 to him, 2330 Riddle 2420 your riddle, 8085 and we will listen to it.
14:14 [cbb5] 參孫對他們說、喫的從喫者出來、甜的從強者出來．他們三日不能猜出謎語的意思。
    [kjv] And he said unto them, Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness. And they could not in three days expound the riddle.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said 0000 to them, 0398 Out of the eater 3318 came forth 3988 food 5794 and out of the strong 3318 came forth 4966 sweetness. 3808 And not 3201 they were able 5046 to declare 2420 the riddle 7969 {in} three 3117 days.
14:15 [cbb5] 到第七天、他們對參孫的妻說、你誆哄你丈夫、探出謎語的意思告訴我們、免得我們用火燒你和你父家．你們請了我們來、是要奪我們所有的麼。
    [kjv] And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson's wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle, lest we burn thee and thy father's house with fire: have ye called us to take that we have? is it not so?
    [strongs] 1961 And it was, 3117 on the day 7637 seventh, 0559 that they said 0802 to the wife of 8123 Samson, 6601 Entice 0376 your husband, 5046 so that he may declare 0000 to us 2420 the riddle, 6435 lest 8313 we burn 0000 you 1004 and house 0001 your father's 0784 with fire! 3423 to make us poor 7121 Have you called 0000 for us? 3808 Is it not {so}?
14:16 [cbb5] 參孫的妻在丈夫面前啼哭說、你是恨我、不是愛我、你給我本國的人出謎語、卻沒有將意思告訴我．參孫回答說、連我父母我都沒有告訴、豈可告訴你呢。
    [kjv] And Samson's wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee?
    [strongs] 1058 And wept 0862 wife 8123 Samson's 6440 in front of him, 0559 and said, 7535 Only 8130 you hate me 3808 and not 0157 do love me. 2420 The riddle 2330 you have riddled 1121 to the sons of 5971 my people, 0000 but to me 3808 not 5046 you have declared it. 0559 And he said 0000 to her, 2009 Listen, 0001 to my father 0517 and to my mother, 3808 not 5096 I declared, 0000 and to you 5046 will I declare {it}?
14:17 [cbb5] 七日筵宴之內、他在丈夫面前啼哭、到第七天逼著他、他纔將謎語的意思告訴他妻、他妻就告訴本國的人。
    [kjv] And she wept before him the seven days, while their feast lasted: and it came to pass on the seventh day, that he told her, because she lay sore upon him: and she told the riddle to the children of her people.
    [strongs] 1058 And she wept 6440 in front of him 7651 the seven 3117 days 0000 {on} which 1961 were 0000 for them 4960 the feast. 1961 And it was, 3117 on day 7637 the seventh, 5046 that he declared {it} 0000 to her, 0000 because 6693 she pestered him. 5046 And she informed 2420 the riddle 1121 to the sons of 5971 her people.
14:18 [cbb5] 到第七天、日頭未落以前、那城裡的人對參孫說、有甚麼比蜜還甜呢、有甚麼比獅子還強呢．參孫對他們說、你們若非用我的母牛犢耕地、就猜不出我謎語的意思來。
    [kjv] And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion? and he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 0000 to him 0376 the men of 5892 the city 3117 on day 7637 the seventh 2962 before 0935 went {down} 8121 the sun, 4100 What {is} 4966 sweeter than 1706 honey? 4100 And what {is} 5794 stronger than 0738 a lion? 0559 And he said 0000 to them, 0518 Unless 2790 you had plowed 5698 with my heifer, 3808 not 4672 you would have found {out} 2420 my riddle!
14:19 [cbb5] 耶和華的靈大大感動參孫、他就下到亞實基倫擊殺了三十個人、奪了他們的衣裳、將衣裳給了猜出謎語的人．參孫發怒、就上父家去了。
    [kjv] And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he went down to Ashkelon, and slew thirty men of them, and took their spoil, and gave change of garments unto them which expounded the riddle. And his anger was kindled, and he went up to his father's house.
    [strongs] 6743 And came in a powerful way 0000 upon him 7307 the Spirit of 3068 Yahweh. 3381 And he went down 0831 to Ashkelon 5221 and struck down 0000 of them 7970 thirty 0376 men, 3947 and took 2488 their plunder, 5414 and gave 2487 the changes {of clothing} 5046 to those declaring 2420 the riddle. 2734 And glowed 0639 his anger, 5927 and he went to 1004 the house of 0001 his father.
14:20 [cbb5] 參孫的妻便歸了參孫的陪伴、就是作過他朋友的。
    [kjv] But Samson's wife was given to his companion, whom he had used as his friend.
    [strongs] 1961 And became 0802 the wife of 8123 Samson 7453 his companion's, 0000 who 1961 had been 0000 for him.
