3:1 [cbb5] 耶和華留下這幾族、為要試驗那不曾知道與迦南爭戰之事的以色列人．
    [kjv] Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;
    [strongs] 0428 And these {are} 1471 the nations 0834 which 3240 let remain 3068 Yahweh, 5254 to test 0000 by them 3478 Israel, 3605 all 0834 who 3808 not 3045 did know 3605 all 4421 the wars of 3667 Canaan,
3:2 [cbb5] 好叫以色列的後代、又知道又學習未曾曉得的戰事。
    [kjv] Only that the generations of the children of Israel might know, to teach them war, at the least such as before knew nothing thereof;
    [strongs] 7535 only 4616 that could 3045 know 8435 the generations of 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel, 3925 to teach them 4421 war, 7535 only 0000 those who 6440 before 3808 not 6213 did know them,
3:3 [cbb5] 所留下的、就是非利士的五個首領、和一切迦南人、西頓人、並住利巴嫩山的希未人、從巴力黑們山、直到哈馬口。
    [kjv] Namely, five lords of the Philistines, and all the Canaanites, and the Sidonians, and the Hivites that dwelt in mount Lebanon, from mount Baalhermon unto the entering in of Hamath.
    [strongs] 2568 five 5633 lords of 6430 the Philistines, 3605 and all 3669 the Canaanites, 6722 and the Sidonians, 2340 and the Hivites 3427 living 2022 on Mount 3844 Lebanon, 2022 from Mount 1179 Baal-Hermon 0413 to 0935 entering 2574 Hamoth.
3:4 [cbb5] 留下這幾族、為要試驗以色列人、知道他們肯聽從耶和華藉摩西吩咐他們列祖的誡命不肯。
    [kjv] And they were to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.
    [strongs] 1961 And they were {there} 5254 to test 0000 by them 3478 Israel 3045 to know 8085 if they would listen to 4687 the commands of 3068 Yahweh, 0834 which 6680 He had commanded 0001 their forefathers 3027 through the hand of 4872 Moses.
3:5 [cbb5] 以色列人竟住在迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人中間、
    [kjv] And the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, Hittites, and Amorites, and Perizzites, and Hivites, and Jebusites:
    [strongs] 1121 And the sons of 3478 Israel 2421 lived 8432 in the middle of 3669 Canaanites, 2850 the Hittites, 0567 and the Amorites, 6522 and the Perizzites, 2340 and the Hivites, 2983 and the Jebusites.
3:6 [cbb5] 娶他們的女兒為妻、將自己的女兒嫁給他們的兒子、並事奉他們的神。
    [kjv] And they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons, and served their gods.
    [strongs] 2947 And they took 1323 their daughters 0000 to themselves 0802 for wives, 0000 and 1323 their daughters 5414 gave 1121 to their sons. 5647 And they served 0000 their 0430 gods.
3:7 [cbb5] 以色列人行耶和華眼中看為惡的事、忘記耶和華他們的　神、去事奉諸巴力和亞舍拉。
    [kjv] And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves.
    [strongs] 0559 And did 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 7451 evil 5869 in the eyes of 3068 Yahweh, 7911 and forgot 3068 Yahweh 0430 their God, 5647 and served 1168 the Baals 7969 and the 0842 Ashtoreths.
3:8 [cbb5] 所以耶和華的怒氣向以色列人發作、就把他們交在米所波大米王古珊利薩田的手中．以色列人服事古珊利薩田八年。
    [kjv] Therefore the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he sold them into the hand of Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia: and the children of Israel served Chushanrishathaim eight years.
    [strongs] 2934 So glowed 0639 anger 3068 Yahweh's 3478 against Israel, 4376 and He sold them 3027 into the hand of 3573 Chushan-Rishathaim, 4428 king of 0763 Meso- 0763 potamia, 5647 and served 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 3573 Chushan-Rishathaim 8083 {for} eight 8141 years.
3:9 [cbb5] 以色列人呼求耶和華的時候、耶和華就為他們興起一位拯救者救他們、就是迦勒兄弟、基納斯的兒子俄陀聶。
    [kjv] And when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer to the children of Israel, who delivered them, even Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother.

3:10 [cbb5] 耶和華的靈降在他身上、他就作了以色列的士師、出去爭戰．耶和華將米所波大米王古珊利薩田交在他手中、他便勝了古珊利薩田。
    [kjv] And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the LORD delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim.

3:11 [cbb5] 於是國中太平四十年。基納斯的兒子俄陀聶死了。
    [kjv] And the land had rest forty years. And Othniel the son of Kenaz died.
    [strongs] 8252 And had rest 0776 the land 0705 forty 8141 years. 4191 And died 6274 Othniel, 1121 the son of 7073 Kenaz.
3:12 [cbb5] 以色列人又行耶和華眼中看為惡的事、耶和華就使摩押王伊磯倫強盛、攻擊以色列人。
    [kjv] And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the LORD.
    [strongs] 3254 And again 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 6213 did 7451 evil 5869 in the eyes of 3068 Yahweh. 2388 And strengthened 3068 Yahweh 5700 Eglon, 4428 the king of 4124 Moab, 0413 against 3478 Israel, 3588 because 6213 they had done 7451 evil 5869 in the eyes of 3068 Yahweh.
3:13 [cbb5] 伊磯倫招聚亞捫人和亞瑪力人、去攻打以色列人、佔據棕樹城。
    [kjv] And he gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Amalek, and went and smote Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees.
    [strongs] 0622 And he gathered 0000 to him 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon 6002 and Amalek. 1980 And went 5221 and struck 3478 Israel, 3423 and they possessed 5892 the city of 8558 palm trees.
3:14 [cbb5] 於是以色列人服事摩押王伊磯倫十八年。
    [kjv] So the children of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years.
    [strongs] 5647 And served 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 5700 Eglon, 4428 the king of, 4124 Moab 8083 {for} eigh- 6240 teen 8141 years.
3:15 [cbb5] 以色列人呼求耶和華的時候、耶和華就為他們興起一位拯救者、就是便雅憫人基拉的兒子以笏、他是左手便利的．以色列人託他送禮物給摩押王伊磯倫。
    [kjv] But when the children of Israel cried unto the LORD, the LORD raised them up a deliverer, Ehud the son of Gera, a Benjamite, a man lefthanded: and by him the children of Israel sent a present unto Eglon the king of Moab.
    [strongs] 6817 And cried 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 3068 to Yahweh, 6965 and raised up 3068 Yahweh 0000 for them 3467 a deliverer-- 0164 Ehud, 1121 the son of 1617 Gera, 1121 a son of 3228 the Benjamite, 0376 a man 0334 impeded {in} 3027 hand 3225 his right. 7971 And sent 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 3027 through his hand 2065 a present 5700 to Eglon, 4428 the king of 4124 Moab.
3:16 [cbb5] 以笏打了一把兩刃的劍、長一肘、帶在右腿上衣服裡面。
    [kjv] But Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he did gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh.
    [strongs] 6213 And made 0000 for himself 0164 Ehud 2719 a sword 0000 and it {had} 8147 two 6366 edges, 0520 a cubit 0753 its length. 2296 And he strapped 0000 it 8478 under 0899 his robe 0000 on 3409 thigh 3225 his right.
3:17 [cbb5] 他將禮物獻給摩押王伊磯倫、原來伊磯倫極其肥胖。
    [kjv] And he brought the present unto Eglon king of Moab: and Eglon was a very fat man.
    [strongs] 0935 And he brought 7243 the 4503 present 5700 to Eglon, 4428 the king of 4124 Moab. 5700 (Now Eglon {was} 0376 a man 1277 fat 3966 very.)
3:18 [cbb5] 以笏獻完禮物、便將抬禮物的人打發走了。
    [kjv] And when he had made an end to offer the present, he sent away the people that bare the present.
    [strongs] 1961 And it happened, 0834 when 3615 he had finished 7126 offering 4503 the present, 7971 he sent away 5971 the people 5375 carriers of 4503 the present.
3:19 [cbb5] 自己卻從靠近吉甲鑿石之地回來、說、王阿、我有一件機密事奏告你．王說、迴避罷．於是左右侍立的人都退去了。
    [kjv] But he himself turned again from the quarries that were by Gilgal, and said, I have a secret errand unto thee, O king: who said, Keep silence. And all that stood by him went out from him.
    [strongs] 0000 And he himself 7725 turned back 4480 from 6456 the carved images 0834 which {were} 0000 at 1537 Gilgal, 0559 and said, 1697 a word 5643 secret 0000 I have 0000 to you, 4428 O king. 0559 And he said, 2790 Be silent! 5927 And went out 0000 from him 3605 all 5324 those standing 0000 beside him.
3:20 [cbb5] 以笏來到王面前．王獨自一人坐在涼樓上。以笏說、我奉　神的命報告你一件事．王就從座位上站起來。
    [kjv] And Ehud came unto him; and he was sitting in a summer parlour, which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, I have a message from God unto thee. And he arose out of his seat.
    [strongs] 0164 And Ehud 3318 came 0000 to him 0000 and he 3427 {was} sitting 5944 in the roof chamber of 4747 coolness 0834 which {was} 0000 to him 0000 by himself. 0559 And said 0164 Ehud, 1697 a word from 0430 God 0000 I have 0000 to you! 6965 And he rose 0000 from on 3678 his seat.
3:21 [cbb5] 以笏便伸左手、從右腿上拔出劍來、刺入王的肚腹．
    [kjv] And Ehud put forth his left hand, and took the dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly:
    [strongs] 7971 And put out 0164 Ehud 3027 hand 8040 his left 3947 and took 2719 the sword 0000 from on 3409 thigh 3225 his right, 8628 and thrust it 0990 into his belly.
3:22 [cbb5] 連劍把都刺進去了．劍被肥肉夾住、他沒有從王的肚腹拔出來、且穿通了後身。
    [kjv] And the haft also went in after the blade; and the fat closed upon the blade, so that he could not draw the dagger out of his belly; and the dirt came out.
    [strongs] 0935 And went in 1571 also 5325 the shaft 0310 after 3851 the blade, 5462 and closed 2459 the fat 0000 on 3851 the blade, 3588 because 3808 not 8025 he did draw 2719 the sword 0990 out of his belly 3318 and it went out 6574 the hole.
3:23 [cbb5] 以笏就出到遊廊、將樓門盡都關鎖。
    [kjv] Then Ehud went forth through the porch, and shut the doors of the parlour upon him, and locked them.
    [strongs] 3318 Then went out 0164 Ehud 4528 to the porch, 5462 and shut 1817 the doors of 5944 the roof chamber 5462 behind him 5274 and bolted them.
3:24 [cbb5] 以笏出來之後、王的僕人到了、看見樓門關鎖、就說、他必是在樓上大解。
    [kjv] When he was gone out, his servants came; and when they saw that, behold, the doors of the parlour were locked, they said, Surely he covereth his feet in his summer chamber.
    [strongs] 0000 When he 5927 had left, 5650 his servants 3318 came. 7200 And they looked, 2009 and, behold, 1817 the doors of 5944 the roof chamber 5274 were bolted. 0559 And they said 0398 Surely 5526 {is} covering 1931 he 7272 his feet 2315 in the room of 4747 coolness.
3:25 [cbb5] 他們等煩了、見仍不開樓門、就拿鑰匙開了．不料、他們的主人已死、倒在地上。
    [kjv] And they tarried till they were ashamed: and, behold, he opened not the doors of the parlour; therefore they took a key, and opened them: and, behold, their lord was fallen down dead on the earth.
    [strongs] 2342 And they waited 0954 until they were embarrassed. 2009 And, look, 0369 he not 6605 {was} opening 1817 the doors of 5944 the roof chamber. 3947 So they took 4668 the key 6605 and opened. 2009 And, look, 0113 their master 5307 {had} fallen 0776 to the ground 4191 dead.
3:26 [cbb5] 他們耽延的時候以笏就逃跑了．經過鑿石之地、逃到西伊拉。
    [kjv] And Ehud escaped while they tarried, and passed beyond the quarries, and escaped unto Seirath.
    [strongs] 0164 And Ehud 2422 escaped 5704 during 4102 their waiting. 0000 And he 5674 passed by 7243 the 6456 carved images 4422 and slipped away 0413 to 8167 Seirath.
3:27 [cbb5] 到了、就在以法蓮山地吹角．以色列人隨著他下了山地。他在前頭引路、
    [kjv] And it came to pass, when he was come, that he blew a trumpet in the mountain of Ephraim, and the children of Israel went down with him from the mount, and he before them.

3:28 [cbb5] 對他們說、你們隨我來、因為耶和華已經把你們的仇敵摩押人交在你們手中。於是他們跟著他下去、把守約但河的渡口、不容摩押一人過去。
    [kjv] And he said unto them, Follow after me: for the LORD hath delivered your enemies the Moabites into your hand. And they went down after him, and took the fords of Jordan toward Moab, and suffered not a man to pass over.
    [strongs] 0559 And he said 0000 to them, 7291 Chase {them} 0310 behind me, 5414 because has given 3068 Yahweh 0341 your enemies 4125 the Moabites 3027 into your hand. 3381 And they went down 0310 after him 3920 and captured 4569 the fords of 3383 the Jordan {River} 4125 against the Moabites 3808 and not 5414 did grant 0376 a man 5674 to pass over.
3:29 [cbb5] 那時擊殺了摩押人約有一萬、都是強壯的勇士、沒有一人逃脫。
    [kjv] And they slew of Moab at that time about ten thousand men, all lusty, and all men of valour; and there escaped not a man.
    [strongs] 5221 And they struck 4124 Moab 6256 at time 0000 that, 6235 about ten 0505 thousand 0376 men of 3605 every 8082 robust {men}, 3605 all 0376 men of 2428 strength 3808 and not 2422 escaped 0376 a man.
3:30 [cbb5] 這樣、摩押就被以色列人制伏了。國中太平八十年。
    [kjv] So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. And the land had rest fourscore years.
    [strongs] 2422 So was subdued 4124 Moab 3117 day 0000 that 8478 under 3027 the hand of 3478 Israel. 8252 And had rest 0776 the land 8084 {for} eighty 8141 years.
3:31 [cbb5] 以笏之後、有亞拿的兒子珊迦、他用趕牛的棍子打死六百非利士人、他也救了以色列人。
    [kjv] And after him was Shamgar the son of Anath, which slew of the Philistines six hundred men with an ox goad: and he also delivered Israel.
    [strongs] 0310 And after him 1961 was 8044 Shamgar, 1121 the son of 6067 Anath. 5221 And he struck 6430 the Philistines 8337 six 3967 hundred 0376 men 4451 with a goad for 1241 the ox, 3467 and delivered 0931 also he 3478 Israel.
