13:1 [cbb5] 耶和華曉諭摩西說、
    [kjv] And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
    [strongs] 1696 And spoke 3068 Yahweh 4872 to Moses, 0559 saying,
13:2 [cbb5] 你打發人去窺探我所賜給以色列人的迦南地、他們每支派中要打發一個人、都要作首領的。
    [kjv] Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.
    [strongs] 7971 Send 0000 for you 0376 men, 2664 and they will search 0776 the land of 3667 Canaan, 0834 which 0589 I 5414 am giving 1121 to the sons of 3478 Israel. 0376 man 0259 one 0376 {by} man 0259 one 7326 for the tribe of 0001 his fathers 7971 You will send, 3605 each one 5387 a leader 0000 among them.
13:3 [cbb5] 摩西就照耶和華的吩咐、從巴蘭的曠野打發他們去、．他們都是以色列人的族長。
    [kjv] And Moses by the commandment of the LORD sent them from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were heads of the children of Israel.

    [kjv] And these were their names: of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur.

    [kjv] Of the tribe of Gad, Geuel the son of Machi.

13:16 [cbb5] 這就是摩西所打發窺探那地之人的名字．摩西就稱嫩的兒子何西阿為約書亞。
    [kjv] These are the names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of Nun Jehoshua.
    [strongs] 0428 These {were} 8034 the names of 0376 the men 0834 whom 7971 sent 4872 Moses 7270 to spy out 0776 the land; 7121 and called 4872 Moses 1454 Oshea, 1121 the son of 5126 Nun, 3091 Joshua.
13:17 [cbb5] 摩西打發他們去窺探迦南地、說、你們從南地上山地去．
    [kjv] And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain:

13:18 [cbb5] 看那地如何、其中所住的民是強是弱、是多是少、
    [kjv] And see the land, what it is, and the people that dwelleth therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many;
    [strongs] 7200 and see 0776 the land 0000 what 1931 it {is}, 0000 and 5971 the people 3427 who are living 0000 on it, 2389 whether strong 1931 it {is} 7504 whether weak, 4592 whether few 0000 it {has} 0000 or 7227 many,
13:19 [cbb5] 所住之地是好是歹、所住之處是營盤是堅城。
    [kjv] And what the land is that they dwell in, whether it be good or bad; and what cities they be that they dwell in, whether in tents, or in strong holds;

13:20 [cbb5] 又看那地土是肥美、是瘠薄、其中有樹木沒有．你們要放開膽量、把那地的果子帶些來．那時正是葡萄初熟的時候。
    [kjv] And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the firstripe grapes.
    [strongs] 0000 and what 0776 the land {is} 8082 whether fat 1931 it {is} 7330 or lean, 3426 whether there is 0000 in it 6086 wood 3808 or not. 2388 And strengthen yourselves, 0394 and take 6529 {some} of the fruit of 0776 land. 3117 Now the days {were} 3117 the days of 1061 first ripe 6025 grapes.
13:21 [cbb5] 他們上去窺探那地、從尋的曠野到利合、直到哈馬口。
    [kjv] So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.
    [strongs] 5927 And they went up 8446 and searched 0776 the land 4057 from the Desert of 6798 Zin 0413 to 7340 Rehob, 0935 to the gate of 2574 Hamath.
13:22 [cbb5] 他們從南地上去、到了希伯崙、在那裡有亞衲族人、亞希幔、示篩、撻買、原來希伯崙城被建造比埃及的鎖安城早七年。
    [kjv] And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
    [strongs] 5927 And they went up 5045 into the Negev, 0935 and came 0413 to 2275 Hebron. 8033 And {were} there 0289 Ahiman, 8344 Sheshai, 8526 and Talmai, 3266 the children of 6010 Anak. 2275 And Hebron 7651 seven 8141 years 1129 had been built 6440 before 6814 Zoan 4714 in Egypt.
13:23 [cbb5] 他們到了以實各谷、從那裡砍了葡萄樹的一枝、上頭有一挂葡萄、兩個人用杠抬著．又帶了些石榴和無花果來。
    [kjv] And they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two upon a staff; and they brought of the pomegranates, and of the figs.
    [strongs] 0935 And they came 0413 to 6010 the Valley of 0811 Eshcol, 3772 and cut down 8033 from there 2156 a branch 0811 and cluster of 6025 grapes 0259 one. 5375 And they carried it 4132 on a rod 8147 by two, 1571 also of 7416 the promegranates 0000 and of 8384 the figs.
13:24 [cbb5] 因為以色列人從那裡砍來的那挂葡萄、所以那地方叫作以實各谷。
    [kjv] The place was called the brook Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from thence.
    [strongs] 4725 place That 7121 {one} called 6010 the Valley of 0811 Eshcol, 0000 because of 0811 the cluster 0834 which 3772 cut off 8033 from there 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel.
13:25 [cbb5] 過了四十天、他們窺探那地纔回來。
    [kjv] And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.
    [strongs] 7725 And they returned 8446 from searching 0776 the land 7093 at the end of 0705 forty 3117 days.
13:26 [cbb5] 到了巴蘭曠野的加低斯、見摩西、亞倫、並以色列的全會眾、回報摩西、亞倫、並全會眾、又把那地的果子給他們看。
    [kjv] And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.
    [strongs] 5265 And they traveled 0935 and came 0413 to 4872 Moses 0000 and to 0175 Aaron, 0000 and to 3605 all group of 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel, 0413 to 4057 the Desert of 6290 Paran, 6943 to Kadesh. 5927 And they brought 0000 them 1697 word, 0000 and 3605 all 5712 the congregation, 7200 and showed them 6529 the fruit of 0776 the land.
13:27 [cbb5] 又告訴摩西說、我們到了你所打發我們去的那地、果然是流奶與蜜之地、這就是那地的果子。
    [kjv] And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.
    [strongs] 5608 And they reported 0000 to him, 0559 and said, 0935 We came 0413 to 0776 the land 0834 where 7971 you sent us, 1571 and indeed 2100 flowing 2461 milk 1706 and honey 1931 it {is}, 0000 and this 6529 {is} its fruit.
13:28 [cbb5] 然而住那地的民強壯、城邑也堅固寬大、並且我們在那裡看見了亞衲族的人。
    [kjv] Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.
    [strongs] 0659 However, 5794 fierce {are} 5971 the people 3427 who live 0776 in the land, 5892 and towns 1819 are fortified 1419 {and} great 3966 very 1571 and also 3211 the children of 6010 Anak 7200 we saw 8033 there.
13:29 [cbb5] 亞瑪力人住在南地、赫人、耶布斯人、亞摩利人、住在山地、迦南人住在海邊、並約但河旁。
    [kjv] The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.
    [strongs] 6002 Amalek 3427 lives 0776 in the land of 5045 the Negev, 2850 and the Hittite, 2983 and the Jebusite, 0567 and the Amorite, 3427 live 2022 in the hills; 3669 and the Canaanite 3427 lives 3220 by the sea, 3027 and by the hand of 3383 the Jordan {River}.
13:30 [cbb5] 迦勒在摩西面前安撫百姓、說、我們立刻上去得那地罷、我們足能得勝。
    [kjv] And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
    [strongs] 2013 And stilled 3612 Caleb 5971 the people 6440 in front of 4872 Moses, 0559 and said, 5927 Certainly 5927 we will go up, 3923 and we will seize 0000 it, 3201 because surely 3201 we are able 0000 {to do} it.
13:31 [cbb5] 但那些和他同去的人說、我們不能上去攻擊那民、因為他們比我們強壯。
    [kjv] But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
    [strongs] 0376 And the men 0000 who 5927 had gone up 0000 with him 0559 said, 3808 not 3201 We are able 5927 to go up 5971 against the people, 2389 because stronger 1931 it {is} 4480 than we.
13:32 [cbb5] 探子中有人論到所窺探之地、向以色列人報惡信、說、我們所窺探經過之地、是吞喫居民之地、我們在那裡所看見的人民、都身量高大。
    [kjv] And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
    [strongs] 3318 And they sent out 1681 a bad report of 0776 the land 0834 which 8446 they had searched 0413 to 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel, 0559 saying, 0776 The land 0834 which 5674 we passed through 6256 in, 7270 to spy out 0000 it, 0776 a land 0398 eating up 3427 its inhabitants 1931 it {is}. 3605 And all 5971 the people 0834 whom 7200 we saw 7130 in its middle 0502 {were} men of 4055 stature.
13:33 [cbb5] 我們在那裡看見亞衲族人、就是偉人、他們是偉人的後裔、據我們看自己就如蚱蜢一樣、據他們看我們也是如此。
    [kjv] And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
