21:1 [cbb5] 住南地的迦南人亞拉得王、聽說以色列人從亞他林路來、就和以色列人爭戰、擄了他們幾個人。
    [kjv] And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought against Israel, and took some of them prisoners.
    [strongs] 8085 And heard 3669 the Canaanite 4428 king, 6166 Arad, 4186 who lived in 5045 the Negev, 3588 that 0935 had come 3478 Israel 1870 the way of 0871 Atharim. 2898 And he fought 3478 against Israel 4617 and took 4480 some of them 7628 captive.
21:2 [cbb5] 以色列人向耶和華發願、說、你若將這民交付我手、我就把他們的城邑盡行毀滅。
    [kjv] And Israel vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.
    [strongs] 5088 And vowed 3478 Israel 5088 a vow 3068 to Yahweh, 0559 and said, 5414 If we deliver 5414 You truly 5971 people 0000 this 3027 into my hand 2763 then I will exterminate 5892 their towns!
21:3 [cbb5] 耶和華應允了以色列人、把迦南人交付他們、他們就把迦南人、和迦南人的城邑、盡行毀滅。那地方的名便叫何珥瑪〔何珥瑪就是毀滅的意思〕。
    [kjv] And the LORD hearkened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and he called the name of the place Hormah.
    [strongs] 8085 And listened 3068 Yahweh 6963 to the voice of 3478 Israel, 5414 and delivered up 3664 the Canaanites. 2763 And they exterminated 0000 them 0000 and 5892 their towns. 7121 And was called 8034 the name of 4725 the place 2767 Hormah.
21:4 [cbb5] 他們從何珥山起行、往紅海那條路走、要繞過以東地．百姓因這路難行、心中甚是煩躁．
    [kjv] And they journeyed from mount Hor by the way of the Red sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.
    [strongs] 5265 And they moved 2025 from Hor 2022 Mount, 1870 the way of 3220 the Sea of 5488 Reeds, 5437 to go around 0776 the land of 0123 Edom. 7114 But was impatient 5315 the soul of 5971 the people 1870 because of the way.
21:5 [cbb5] 就怨讟　神和摩西、說、你們為甚麼把我們從埃及領出來、使我們死在曠野呢．這裡沒有糧、沒有水、我們的心厭惡這淡薄的食物。
    [kjv] And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
    [strongs] 1696 And spoke 5971 the people 0430 against God 4872 and against Moses, 4100 Why 5927 have you brought us 4714 out of Egypt 4191 to die 4057 in the desert? 0000 Because 3808 no 3899 bread 0369 and no 4325 water {is here}; 5315 and our soul 1602 hates 3099 this bread 0216 light!
21:6 [cbb5] 於是耶和華使火蛇進入百姓中間、蛇就咬他們、以色列人中死了許多。
    [kjv] And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
    [strongs] 7971 So, sent 3068 Yahweh 5971 among the people 2120 snakes 8314 fiery. 5391 And they bit 5971 the people, 4191 and died 5971 people 7227 many 3478 of Israel.
21:7 [cbb5] 百姓到摩西那裡說、我們怨讟耶和華和你、有罪了、求你禱告耶和華、叫這些蛇離開我們．於是摩西為百姓禱告。
    [kjv] Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
    [strongs] 0925 And came in 5971 the people 4872 to Moses 0559 and said, 2398 We have sinned, 0000 because 1696 we have spoken 3068 against Yahweh 0000 and against you! 6275 Pray 3068 to Yahweh, 5493 and He will turn 5921 from us 5175 the snake. 6419 So, prayed 4872 Moses 5704 for 5971 the people.
21:8 [cbb5] 耶和華對摩西說、你製造一條火蛇、挂在杆子上、凡被咬的、一望這蛇、就必得活。
    [kjv] And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
    [strongs] 1696 And spoke 3068 Yahweh 0413 to 4872 Moses, 6213 Make 0000 yourself 8314 a fiery {snake} 5186 and set 0000 it 5921 on 5251 a pole. 1961 And it will be, 3605 when anyone 5391 is bitten, 7200 when he sees 0000 it, 2421 he will live.
21:9 [cbb5] 摩西便製造一條銅蛇、挂在杆子上．凡被蛇咬的、一望這銅蛇、就活了。
    [kjv] And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
    [strongs] 8384 So made 4872 Moses 5175 a snake of 5178 copper, 7896 and put it 5921 on 5251 a pole. 1961 And it was, 5391 if had bitten 5175 a snake 0376 any man, 5027 when he looked 0413 to 5175 the snake of 5178 bronze, 2425 he lived.
21:10 [cbb5] 以色列人起行、安營在阿伯、
    [kjv] And the children of Israel set forward, and pitched in Oboth.
    [strongs] 5265 Then traveled 1121 the sons of 3478 Israel 2583 and camped 0088 in Oboth.
21:11 [cbb5] 又從阿伯起行、安營在以耶、亞巴琳、與摩押相對的曠野、向日出之地。
    [kjv] And they journeyed from Oboth, and pitched at Ijeabarim, in the wilderness which is before Moab, toward the sunrising.
    [strongs] 5265 And they pulled up 0088 from Oboth, 2583 and camped 6256 in 5856 Ijeabarim, 4057 in the desert 0834 that {is} 6440 in front of 4124 Moab, 4217 toward the rising of 8121 the sun.
21:12 [cbb5] 從那裡起行、安營在撒烈谷。
    [kjv] From thence they removed, and pitched in the valley of Zared.
    [strongs] 8033 From there 5265 they pulled up 2583 and camped 6010 in the Valley of 2217 Zered.
21:13 [cbb5] 從那裡起行、安營在亞嫩河那邊．這亞嫩河是在曠野、從亞摩利的境界流出來的、原來亞嫩河是摩押的邊界、在摩押和亞摩利人搭界的地方。
    [kjv] From thence they removed, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, which is in the wilderness that cometh out of the coasts of the Amorites: for Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.
    [strongs] 8033 From there 5265 they pulled 5186 and pitched {camp} 1973 beyond 0769 {the} Arnon {River}, 0834 which {is} 4057 in the desert 3318 that comes out 1366 of the border of 0567 the Amorite, 0000 because 0769 {the} Arnon {River is} 1366 border 4124 Moab's, 0996 between 4124 Moab 0000 and 0567 the Amorite.
21:14 [cbb5] 所以耶和華的戰記上說、蘇法的哇哈伯、與亞嫩河的谷、
    [kjv] Wherefore it is said in the book of the wars of the LORD, What he did in the Red sea, and in the brooks of Arnon,
    [strongs] 5921 There- 3651 fore, 0559 it is said 5612 in the Book of 4421 the Wars of 3068 Yahweh: 2052 Vaheb 5497 in Suphah 0000 and 5258 the torrents of 0769 Arnon,
21:15 [cbb5] 並向亞珥城眾谷的下坡、是靠近摩押的境界。
    [kjv] And at the stream of the brooks that goeth down to the dwelling of Ar, and lieth upon the border of Moab.
    [strongs] 0793 and the slope of 5158 the wady 0834 that 5186 turns down 3427 to the site of 6144 Ar, 8172 and leans 1366 on the border of 4124 Moab.
21:16 [cbb5] 以色列人從那裡起行、到了比珥〔比珥就是井的意思〕．從前耶和華吩咐摩西說、招聚百姓、我好給他們水喝、說的就是這井。
    [kjv] And from thence they went to Beer: that is the well whereof the LORD spake unto Moses, Gather the people together, and I will give them water.
    [strongs] 8033 And from there 0876 {they went} to Beer. 1931 That {is} 0875 the well 0834 of which 0559 spoke 3068 Yahweh 4872 to Moses, 3950 Gather 5971 the people 5464 and I will give 0000 to them 4325 water.
21:17 [cbb5] 當時、以色列人唱歌說、井阿、湧上水來．你們要向這井歌唱。
    [kjv] Then Israel sang this song, Spring up, O well; sing ye unto it:
    [strongs] 0176 Then 7891 sang 3478 Israel 7892 song 0000 this: 5921 Spring up, 0875 O well, 7891 sing to it!
21:18 [cbb5] 這井是首領和民中的尊貴人、用圭、用杖、所挖所掘的。以色列人從曠野往瑪他拿去。
    [kjv] The princes digged the well, the nobles of the people digged it, by the direction of the lawgiver, with their staves. And from the wilderness they went to Mattanah:
    [strongs] 0875 The well 2658 which dug 8269 the princes, 2658 which dug 5081 the nobles of 5971 the people, 2710 by the lawgiver 4938 with their rods. 4057 And from the desert 4980 to Mattanah;
21:19 [cbb5] 從瑪他拿到拿哈列、從拿哈列到巴末、
    [kjv] And from Mattanah to Nahaliel: and from Nahaliel to Bamoth:
    [strongs] 4980 and from Manattah 5160 to Nahaliel; 5160 and from Nahaliel 1120 to Bamoth;
21:20 [cbb5] 從巴末到摩押地的谷、又到那下望曠野之毘斯迦的山頂。
    [kjv] And from Bamoth in the valley, that is in the country of Moab, to the top of Pisgah, which looketh toward Jeshimon.
    [strongs] 1120 And from Bamoth 6010 in the valley 0834 which {is} 7704 in the field of 4124 Moab, 7218 {to} the top of 6449 {Mount} Pisgah, 8259 which faces 5921 to- 6440 ward 4057 the desert.
21:21 [cbb5] 以色列人差遣使者去見亞摩利人的王西宏說、
    [kjv] And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 3478 Israel 4397 messengers 0413 to 5511 Sihon, 4428 king of 0567 the Amorites, 0559 saying,
21:22 [cbb5] 求你容我們從你的地經過、我們不偏入田間、和葡萄園、也不喝井裡的水、只走大道〔原文作王道〕、直到過了你的境界。
    [kjv] Let me pass through thy land: we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go along by the king's high way, until we be past thy borders.
    [strongs] 5674 Let me pass 0776 through your land. 3808 not 5186 We will turn 7704 into a field 3754 or into a vineyard. 3808 not 8354 We will drink 4325 waters of 0875 a well. 4546 on the highway 4428 king's 1980 We will go 5704 until 5674 we have crossed 1366 your border.
21:23 [cbb5] 西宏不容以色列人從他的境界經過、就招聚他的眾民出到曠野、要攻擊以色列人．到了雅雜、與以色列人爭戰。
    [kjv] And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.
    [strongs] 3808 But not 5414 would allow 5511 Sihon 3478 Israel 5674 to pass 1366 through his border. 0622 And gathered 5511 Sihon 3605 all 5971 his people 5927 and went out 7125 to meet 3478 Israel 4057 in the desert, 0935 and came 3086 to Jahaz 3898 and fought 3478 against Israel.
21:24 [cbb5] 以色列人用刀殺了他、得了他的地、從亞嫩河到雅博河、直到亞捫人的境界、因為亞捫人的境界多有堅壘。
    [kjv] And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of the children of Ammon was strong.
    [strongs] 5227 And struck him 3478 Israel 6310 by the edge of 2719 the sword, 3423 and seized 0776 his land 0769 from {the} Arnon {River} 2999 to {the} Jabbok {River}, 1121 to the sons of 5983 Ammon, 5794 because {was} strong 1366 the border of 1121 the sons of 5983 Ammon.
21:25 [cbb5] 以色列人奪取這一切的城邑、也住亞摩利人的城邑、就是希實本與希實本的一切鄉村。
    [kjv] And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.
    [strongs] 3947 And took 3478 Israel 5892 all towns 0428 these, 3427 and lived 3478 Israel 3605 in all 5892 the towns of 0567 the Amorite, 2809 in Heshbon 3605 and in all of 2691 its villages,
21:26 [cbb5] 這希實本是亞摩利王西宏的京城．西宏曾與摩押的先王爭戰、從他手中奪取了全地直到亞嫩河。
    [kjv] For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon.
    [strongs] 2809 because Heshobon {was} 5892 the {capitol} city of 5511 Sihon, 4428 king of 0567 the Amorites. 1931 And he 3898 had fought 4428 against king of 4124 Moab 7223 the former, 3947 and had taken 3605 all 0776 his land 3027 out of his hand, 0413 to 0769 {the} Arnon {River}.
21:27 [cbb5] 所以那些作詩歌的說、你們來到希實本．願西宏的城被修造、被建立。
    [kjv] Wherefore they that speak in proverbs say, Come into Heshbon, let the city of Sihon be built and prepared:
    [strongs] 3605 there- 3651 fore 0559 say 4911 the poets, 0935 Come to 2809 Heshbon! 1129 Let be built 3559 and settled 5892 the city of 5511 Sihon!
21:28 [cbb5] 因為有火從希實本發出、有火焰出於西宏的城、燒盡摩押的亞珥和亞嫩河邱壇的祭司〔祭司原文作主〕。
    [kjv] For there is a fire gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon: it hath consumed Ar of Moab, and the lords of the high places of Arnon.
    [strongs] 0000 Because 0784 a fire 3318 has gone out 2809 of Heshbon, 3852 a flame, 5892 from the city of 5511 Sihon. 0398 It has consumed 6144 Ar of 4124 Moab, 1167 the lords of 4791 the high places of 0769 Arnon.
21:29 [cbb5] 摩押阿、你有禍了。基抹的民哪、你們滅亡了．基抹的男子逃奔、女子被擄、交付亞摩利的王西宏。
    [kjv] Woe to thee, Moab! thou art undone, O people of Chemosh: he hath given his sons that escaped, and his daughters, into captivity unto Sihon king of the Amorites.
    [strongs] 0188 Alas for you, 4124 Moab! 0006 You are undone, 5971 O people of 3645 Chemosh! 5414 He has given 1121 his sons 6412 as fugitives 1323 and his daughters 7628 into captivity, 4428 to king of 0567 the Amorites 5511 Sihon.
21:30 [cbb5] 我們射了他們、希實本直到底本盡皆毀滅．我們使地變成荒場直到挪法、這挪法直延到米底巴。
    [kjv] We have shot at them; Heshbon is perished even unto Dibon, and we have laid them waste even unto Nophah, which reacheth unto Medeba.
    [strongs] 3384 And we threw them down. 0006 has perished 2809 Heshbon, 5704 even to 1769 Dibon. 8074 And we ravaged 5307 to Nophah, 0834 which 5704 {reaches} to 4311 Medeba.
21:31 [cbb5] 這樣、以色列人就住在亞摩利人之地。
    [kjv] Thus Israel dwelt in the land of the Amorites.
    [strongs] 3427 So lived 3478 Israel 0776 in the land of 0567 the Amorites.
21:32 [cbb5] 摩西打發人去窺探雅謝．以色列人就佔了雅謝的鎮市、趕出那裡的亞摩利人。
    [kjv] And Moses sent to spy out Jaazer, and they took the villages thereof, and drove out the Amorites that were there.
    [strongs] 7971 And sent 4872 Moses 7270 to spy out 3270 Jaazer, 2947 and they took 2691 its villages; 3423 and drove out 0567 the Amorite 0834 who 8033 {was} there.
21:33 [cbb5] 以色列人轉回、向巴珊去．巴珊王噩、和他的眾民都出來在以得來與他們交戰。
    [kjv] And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at Edrei.
    [strongs] 6437 And they turned 1980 and went 1870 the way of 1316 Bashan. 0935 And came 5747 Og, 4428 king of 1316 Bashan, 0413 to 7125 meet them 1931 he 3605 and all 5971 his people, 4421 for battle 0159 {at} Edrei.
21:34 [cbb5] 耶和華對摩西說、不要怕他、因我已將他和他的眾民、並他的地、都交在你手中、你要待他像從前待住希實本的亞摩利王西宏一般。
    [kjv] And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.
    [strongs] 0559 And said 3068 Yahweh 4872 to Moses, 0408 not 3372 Do fear 0000 him, 0000 because 3027 into your hand 5414 I have given 0000 him, 0000 and 3605 all 5971 his people 0000 and 0776 his land. 6213 And you will do 0000 to him 0834 as 6213 you have done 5511 to Sihon, 4428 king of 0567 the Amorite, 0834 who 3427 lived 2809 at Heshbon.
21:35 [cbb5] 於是他們殺了他和他的眾子、並他的眾民、沒有留下一個、就得了他的地。
    [kjv] So they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was none left him alive: and they possessed his land.
    [strongs] 5221 And they struck 0853 him 0000 and 3605 all 5971 his people, 5704 until 1115 not 7604 left he did have 7611 a remnant. 3423 And they seized 0776 his land.
