| 39:2 | 我默然无声，连好话也不出口。我的愁苦就发动了。 I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred. | ||
| 39:3 | 我的心在我里面发热。我默想的时候，火就烧起，我便用舌头说话。 My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spake I with my tongue, | ||
| 39:4 | 耶和华阿，求你叫我晓得我身之终，我的寿数几何，叫我知道我的生命不长。 LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am. | ||
| 39:5 | 你使我的年日，窄如手掌。我一生的年数，在你面前，如同无有。各人最稳妥的时候，真是全然虚幻。（细拉） Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah. | ||
| 39:6 | 世人行动实系幻影。他们忙乱，真是枉然。积蓄财宝，不知将来有谁收取。 Surely every man walketh in a vain shew: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heapeth up riches, and knoweth not who shall gather them. | ||
| 39:7 | 主阿，如今我等什么呢。我的指望在乎你。 And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in thee. | ||
| 39:8 | 求你救我脱离一切的过犯。不要使我受愚顽人的羞辱。 Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish. | ||
| 39:9 | 因我所遭遇的是出于你，我默然不语。 I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because thou didst it. | ||
| 39:10 | 求你把你的责罚，从我身上免去。因你手的责打，我便消灭。 Remove thy stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of thine hand. | ||
| 39:11 | 你因人的罪恶，惩罚他的时候，叫他的笑容消灭，（的笑容或作所喜爱的）如衣被虫所咬。世人真是虚幻。（细拉） When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah. | ||
| 39:12 | 耶和华阿。求你听我的祷告，留心听我的呼求。我流泪，求你不要静默无声。因为我在你面前是客旅，是寄居的，像我列祖一般。 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not thy peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with thee, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were. | ||
| 39:13 | 求你宽容我，使我在去而不返之先，可以力量复原。 O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go hence, and be no more. | ||
