    [niv] Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.
    [asv] And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the back, close sealed with seven seals.
    [jnd] And I saw on the right hand of him that sat upon the throne a book, written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
    [kjv] And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

    [web] . I saw, in the right hand of him who sat on the throne, a book written within and on the back, sealed shut with seven seals.
    [ylt] And I saw upon the right hand of Him who is sitting upon the throne a scroll, written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals;
    [bbe] And I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the high seat, a book with writing inside it and on the back, shut with seven stamps of wax.
5:2 [cbgb] 我又看见一位大力的天使,大声宣传说,有谁配展开那书卷,揭开那七印呢? < | >
    [niv] And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, "Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?"
    [asv] And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a great voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
    [jnd] And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?
    [kjv] And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
    [nwb] And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose its seals?
    [rsv] and I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?"

    [ylt] and I saw a strong messenger crying with a great voice, `Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose the seals of it?'
    [bbe] And I saw a strong angel saying in a loud voice, Who is able to make the book open, and to undo its stamps?
5:3 [cbgb] 在天上,地上,地底下,没有能展开能观看那书卷的。 < | >
    [niv] But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it.
    [asv] And no one in the heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look thereon.
    [jnd] And no one was able in the heaven, or upon the earth, or underneath the earth, to open the book, or to regard it.
    [kjv] And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
    [nwb] And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look upon it.

    [bbe] And no one in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to get the book open, or to see what was in it.
5:4 [cbgb] 因为没有配展开,配观看那书卷的,我就大哭。 < | >
    [niv] I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside.
    [asv] And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look thereon:
    [jnd] And *I* wept much because no one had been found worthy to open the book nor to regard it.
    [kjv] And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
    [nwb] And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open, and to read the book, neither to look upon it.
    [rsv] and I wept much that no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to into into it.

    [ylt] And I was weeping much, because no one was found worthy to open and to read the scroll, nor to behold it,
    [bbe] And I was very sad, because there was no one able to get the book open or to see what was in it.
5:5 [cbgb] 长老中有一位对我说,不要哭。看哪,犹大支派中的狮子,大卫的根,他已得胜,能以展开那书卷,揭开那七印。 < | >
    [niv] Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals."
    [asv] and one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not; behold, the Lion that is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath overcome to open the book and the seven seals thereof.
    [jnd] And one of the elders says to me, Do not weep. Behold, the lion which of the tribe of Juda, the root of David, has overcome to open the book, and its seven seals.
    [kjv] And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
    [nwb] And one of the elders saith to me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose its seven seals.
    [rsv] Then one of the elders said to me, "Weep not; lo, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals."
    [web] One of the elders said to me, "Don't weep. Behold, the Lion who is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome to open the book and its seven seals."
    [ylt] and one of the elders saith to me, `Weep not; lo, overcome did the Lion, who is of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, to open the scroll, and to loose the seven seals of it;
    [bbe] And one of the rulers said to me, Do not be sad: see, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome, and has power to undo the book and its seven stamps.
5:6 [cbgb] 我又看见宝座与四活物并长老之中,有羔羊站立,像是被杀过的,有七角七眼,就是 神的七灵,奉差遣往普天下去的。 < | >
    [niv] Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.
    [asv] And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.
    [jnd] And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent into all the earth:
    [kjv] And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
    [nwb] And I beheld, and lo, in the midst of the throne, and of the four living beings, and in the midst of the elders stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
    [rsv] And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders, I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth;

    [bbe] And I saw in the middle of the high seat and of the four beasts, and in the middle of the rulers, a Lamb in his place, which seemed as if it had been put to death, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.
5:7 [cbgb] 这羔羊前来,从坐宝座的右手里拿了书卷。 < | >
    [niv] He came and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.
    [asv] And he came, and he taketh it out of the right hand of him that sat on the throne.
    [jnd] and it came and took out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
    [kjv] And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
    [nwb] And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
    [rsv] and he went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who was seated on the throne.

5:8 [cbgb] 他既拿了书卷,四活物和二十四位长老,就俯伏在羔羊面前,各拿着琴,和盛满了香的金炉。这香就是众圣徒的祈祷。 < | >
    [niv] And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
    [asv] And when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having each one a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
    [jnd] And when it took the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, having each a harp and golden bowls full of incenses, which are the prayers of the saints.
    [kjv] And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
    [nwb] And when he had taken the book, the four living beings, and four twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of saints.
    [rsv] And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints;

    [ylt] And when he took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, having each one harps and golden vials full of perfumes, which are the prayers of the saints,
    [bbe] And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and the four and twenty rulers went down on their faces before the Lamb, having every one an instrument of music, and gold vessels full of perfumes, which are the prayers of the saints.
5:9 [cbgb] 他们唱新歌,说,你配拿书卷,配揭开七印。因为你曾被杀,用自己的血从各族各方,各民各国中买了人来,叫他们归于 神, < | >
    [niv] And they sang a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.
    [asv] And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou was slain, and didst purchase unto God with thy blood men of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,
    [jnd] And they sing a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open its seals; because thou hast been slain, and hast redeemed to God, by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,
    [kjv] And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
    [nwb] And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals of it: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and language, and people, and nation;
    [rsv] and they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy art thou to take the scroll and to open its seals, for thou wast slain and by thy blood didst ransom men for God from every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

    [ylt] and they sing a new song, saying, `Worthy art thou to take the scroll, and to open the seals of it, because thou wast slain, and didst redeem us to God in thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,
    [bbe] And their voices are sounding in a new song, saying, It is right for you to take the book and to make it open: for you were put to death and have made an offering to God of your blood for men of every tribe, and language, and people, and nation,
5:10 [cbgb] 又叫他们成为国民,作祭司,归于 神。在地上执掌王权。 < | >
    [niv] You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."
    [asv] and madest them to be unto our God a kingdom and priests; and they reign upon earth.
    [jnd] and made them to our God kings and priests; and they shall reign over the earth.
    [kjv] And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
    [nwb] And hast made us to our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
    [rsv] and hast made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on earth."
    [web] . And made them kings and priests to our God,And they reign on earth."
    [ylt] and didst make us to our God kings and priests, and we shall reign upon the earth.'

5:11 [cbgb] 我又看见,且听见,宝座与活物并长老的周围,有许多天使的声音。他们的数目有千千万万。 < | >
    [niv] Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.
    [asv] And I saw, and I heard a voice of many angels round about the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
    [jnd] And I saw, and I heard voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and their number was ten thousands of ten thousands and thousands of thousands;
    [kjv] And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
    [nwb] And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and the living beings, and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
    [rsv] Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands,
    [web] . I saw, and I heard a voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousands of ten thousands, and thousands of thousands;
    [ylt] And I saw, and I heard the voice of many messengers round the throne, and the living creatures, and the elders -- and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands --
    [bbe] And I saw, and there came to my ears the sound of a great number of angels round about the high seat and the beasts and the rulers; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
5:12 [cbgb] 大声说,曾被杀的羔羊,是配得权柄,丰富,智慧,能力,尊贵,荣耀,颂赞的。 < | >
    [niv] In a loud voice they sang: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!"
    [asv] saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb that hath been slain to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and might and honor, and glory, and blessing.
    [jnd] saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that has been slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
    [kjv] Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
    [nwb] Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.

    [bbe] Saying with a great voice, It is right to give to the Lamb who was put to death, power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing.
5:13 [cbgb] 我又听见,在天上,地上,地底下,沧海里,和天地间一切所有被造之物,都说,但愿颂赞,尊贵,荣耀,权势,都归给坐宝座的和羔羊,直到永永远远。 < | >
    [niv] Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!"
    [asv] And every created thing which is in the heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and on the sea, and all things are in them, heard I saying, Unto him that sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the dominion, for ever and ever.
    [jnd] And every creature which is in the heaven and upon the earth and under the earth, and upon the sea, and all things in them, heard I saying, To him that sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb, blessing, and honour, and glory, and might, to the ages of ages.
    [kjv] And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
    [nwb] And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, to him that sitteth upon the throne, and to the Lamb for ever and ever.
    [rsv] And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all therein, saying, "To him who sits upon the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might for ever and ever!"
    [web] . I heard every created thing which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them, saying,"To him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion, forever and ever. Amen."
    [ylt] and every creature that is in the heaven, and in the earth, and under the earth, and the things that are upon the sea, and the all things in them, heard I saying, `To Him who is sitting upon the throne, and to the Lamb, the blessing, and the honour, and the glory, and the might -- to the ages of the ages!'
    [bbe] And to my ears came the voice of everything in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and of all things which are in them, saying, To him who is seated on the high seat, and to the Lamb, may blessing and honour and glory and power be given for ever and ever.
5:14 [cbgb] 四活物就说,阿们。众长老也俯伏敬拜。 <
    [niv] The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped.
    [asv] And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the elders fell down and worshipped.
    [jnd] And the four living creatures said, Amen; and the elders fell down and did homage.
    [kjv] And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
    [nwb] And the four living beings said, Amen. And the four twenty elders fell down and worshiped him that liveth for ever and ever.
    [rsv] And the four living creatures said, "Amen!" and the elders fell down and worshiped.
    [web] . The four living creatures said, "Amen!" The elders fell down and worshipped.
    [ylt] and the four living creatures said, `Amen!' and the twenty-four elders fell down and they bow before Him who is living to the ages of the ages.
    [bbe] And the four beasts said, So be it. And the rulers went down on their faces and gave worship..
