    [niv] His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he might devour her child the moment it was born.
    [asv] And his tail draweth the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon standeth before the woman that is about to be delivered, that when she is delivered he may devour her child.

    [bbe] And his tail was pulling a third part of the stars of heaven down to the earth, and the dragon took his place before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when the birth had taken place he might put an end to her child.

    [niv] The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

    [niv] But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven.
    [asv] And they prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven.

    [niv] The great dragon was hurled down--that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
    [asv] And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.
    [jnd] And the great dragon was cast out, the ancient serpent, he who is called Devil and Satan, he who deceives the whole habitable world, he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

12:10 [cbgb] 我听见在天上有大声音说,我 神的救恩,能力,国度,并他基督的权柄,现在都来到了。因为那在我们 神面前昼夜控告我们弟兄的,已经被摔下去了。 < | >
    [niv] Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.
    [asv] And I heard a great voice in heaven, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, who accuseth them before our God day and night.
    [jnd] And I heard a great voice in the heaven saying, Now is come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ; for the accuser of our brethren has been cast out, who accused them before our God day and night:

    [bbe] And a great voice in heaven came to my ears, saying, Now is come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ: because he who says evil against our brothers before our God day and night is forced down.
12:11 [cbgb] 弟兄胜过他,是因羔羊的血,和自己所见证的道。他们虽至于死,也不爱惜性命。 < | >
    [niv] They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
    [asv] And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the word of their testimony; and they loved not their life even unto death.

12:12 [cbgb] 所以诸天和住在其中的,你们都快乐吧。只是地与海有祸了,因为魔鬼知道自己的时候不多,就气忿忿的下到你们那里去了。 < | >
    [niv] Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short."
    [asv] Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe for the earth and for the sea: because the devil is gone down unto you, having great wrath, knowing that he hath but a short time.
    [jnd] Therefore be full of delight, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the earth and to the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great rage, knowing he has a short time.
    [kjv] Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

    [ylt] because of this be glad, ye heavens, and those in them who do tabernacle; wo to those inhabiting the land and the sea, because the Devil did go down unto you, having great wrath, having known that he hath little time.'
    [bbe] Be glad then, O heavens, and you who are in them. But there is trouble for the earth and the sea: because the Evil One has come down to you, being very angry, having the knowledge that he has but a short time.
12:13 [cbgb] 龙见自己被摔在地上,就逼迫那生男孩子的妇人。 < | >
    [niv] When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.
    [asv] And when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he persecuted the woman that brought forth the man child.
    [jnd] And when the dragon saw that he had been cast out into the earth, he persecuted the woman which bore the male .

12:14 [cbgb] 于是有大鹰的两个翅膀赐给妇人,叫他能飞到旷野,到自己的地方,躲避那蛇。他在那里被养活一载二载半载。 < | >
    [niv] The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the desert, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent's reach.

    [niv] Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent.
    [asv] And the serpent cast out of his mouth after the woman water as a river, that he might cause her to be carried away by the stream.
    [jnd] And the serpent cast out of his mouth behind the woman water as a river, that he might make her be one carried away by a river.
    [kjv] And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

    [niv] But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
    [asv] And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth and swallowed up the river which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

12:17 [cbgb] 龙向妇人发怒,去与他其馀的儿女争战,这儿女就是那守 神诫命,为耶稣作见证的。那时龙就站在海边的沙上。 <
    [niv] Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her offspring--those who obey God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
    [asv] And the dragon waxed wroth with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, that keep the commandments of God, and hold the testimony of Jesus:
    [jnd] And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus.
    [kjv] And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

    [bbe] And the dragon was angry with the woman and went away to make war on the rest of her seed, who keep the orders of God, and the witness of Jesus:
